Great size options!
My husband is on the shorter side 5 foot 4 he can never find pants that aren’t super long but these fit him great he loves that they come in so many different sizes and are actually comfortable to wear.

Nice Jeans
These jeans are similar to my Levi 514’s. The sizing is just a little bigger around waist and slightly longer in inseam and not quite as much stretch. Nevertheless, the fit nicely.

Nice jeans but not true to size
The jeans look and feel great, good quality, but the sizing is too small. I know that Amazon Essentials usually come a bit smaller, so instead of 38×30 which are my jeans from Red Ale, I ordered one pair in 40×30 and one in 42×30 but even that didn’t fit.I wish larger sizes, i.e. 44, 46, etc. were available.

Comfortable fit
My husband has a very flat butt and thin long legs. A hard fit. We tried Levi’s and several others. These were perfect for him. He found them to be very comfortable. Will probably order another color. I recommend

The SOLUTION to the NO BUTT problem!
Got these for my husband who has been wearing Lee flex motion jeans for a while. Decided that I’d try a skinny jean because everything he wears sags on him because he has no butt……lol. Anyway, he put these on and I was amazed at the fit in the butt and thighs. He has relatively thin legs and these actually gave him some definition that was missing in this other jeans. He wears a 33/30 and the size is true. I got these in a DARK WASH and they’re awesome; so I wanted another pair and ordered the VINTAGE WASH and THEY’RE THE SAME COLOR. So today I just did an exchange on Amazon and traded for the medium wash. The vintage wash definitely looks lighter than the dark wash in the ad, so either the ad isn’t accurate or they simply sent me the wrong color. VERY happy with the Amazon Essential jeans and so happy to finally find something that fits my medium height slim guy.

Good Overall Quality, Fit A Bit Loose
These are a solid quality medium weight, a bit thicker than your thinner “comfort stretch” jeans you see a lot of today. One thing to note – these seem to fit a touch baggier in the calf (almost closer to a straight fit) and don’t give that true slim fit profile. Also the rise on these jeans is quite low (they don’t come up very high in the back).

Sizing is off
Make sure you get a size bigger than what you normally ware. A 32 is more like a 30. I had to return them because they were just way too tight. And they don’t stretch at all. Other than that they are a good cheap alternative to Levis brand.

Solid product!
Listen, I got sick and tired of mock-pockets and teeny side pockets on women’s pants and jeans so I went with men’s this time. The pockets are AMAZING and so spacious. Despite being a petite woman these fit perfectly (besides a very expected slight bulge in the crotch area due to the lack of… parts, lol). Very comfortable and have thicker stiff material compared to women’s jeans, which is a plus. Overall — will totally buy again.

Not exactly what I needed…
I bought these in 2 colors. They fit, however, calling them slim fit is a bit of a stretch. They are strait fit if anything. This matters because they are a little on the baggy side and I needed something with a tighter fit. I do not have skinny legs so the issue is in the jeans. Overall, they are good quality and the colors were exactly what I needed. Keeping them because I can still wear them, just not for their intended purpose. Would have given 5 stars otherwise. If you’re looking for a strait leg pant, these are perfect.

Try before buy
The jeans were top quality material for the price. I found that the Jean manufacturer does not hold the sizes that well. I ordered a 31inch waist but it was 33inches when I measured them when I tried them on. I also found the inseam was off too.” I found that you could take 4 pairs of jeans to the store fitting room marked the same size and only find one that was close to marked size .

Good
One of the few places for a short guy to get 28 length jeans. Low price as well. When you buy premium jeans you get two extra belt loops, which are helpful. The only weak spot here is the quality of the zipper. This requires just a bit of care.

Very long lasting and durable
I have worn these to work every day for a couple years and they are still in great condition. Even being washed and dried twice a week hasn’t caused any issues. No holes, no warping, and very minimal color fade

Essentials vs Levi’s
Purchased one pair of Amazon Essentials and one pair of 511 Levi slim jeans. My husband tried on both. He is on the very slim side. I am happy to say that the Amazon brand fit just as well as the 511 slim Levi. Was very surprised. So kept both. No returns!. I would recommend washing the jeans before wearing as the dye used for jeans can rub off on other fabrics. I washed in cold water. Put in dryer for 20 minutes and then hung to dry, you can also just dry them for 30 minutes. Up to you. In my opinion, dryers wear out your clothes faster.

Can Size Down In The Waist
With the great stretch in these super cool jeans, one can size down at the waist. I purchased these for my son he loves the look of the slim-leg jeans ands will be buying all Amazon Essentials slim-leg jeans from here on out. I love this gray color, looks like black jeans that were washed repeatedly. They are not skinny jeans nor are they the fuller straight-leg look, they come in closeer to your legs and in my opinion show off your hightops and other cool sneakers shoes or whatever kind of shoes you choose to wear. These jeans are the rockstar of jeans, look so smooth and sauve on my son, very flattering fit, and the color is awesome as well, no more solid straight-leg jeans for him, slim legs all the way! Thank you, Amazon Essentials for making good slim-leg jeans at affordable prices and with great quality!

Nice and cheap!
I got these as a quick purchase from where I was at the time. I didn’t have much time so I ordered the first pair I saw and these were it. They aren’t bad but keep in mind they are skinny jeans. Some people like them and others do not….I don’t mind them from time to time but not always. Still these are comfortable and fit well.

Lasting chemical smell
Fit, color, and comfort are good, but I can’t put them on for more than 10 seconds. This is the second time I’ve received a pair of Amazon Essentials pants with a distinct chemical smell that can stink up the whole room (from the dye I imagine?). The last time this happened, I had to wash them 4 times with vinegar before it was tolerable. It’s a little bit of a hassle to return them with my schedule so I’ll have to deal with getting rid of the smell myself. Will a 3-star review serve as a pivot point to tackle QC issues? We’ll see.

Some of the worst pants I have ever had.
Ok, so this is just a bad product, not terrible or the worst ever or anything silly like that, just bad.I ordered a few pairs online because I know my size well, and I have never had significant issues with it after 42 years. No matter what, if I order a 30 x 30, I will get a pair that fits. For some brands, the fit might be a little different depending on the cut and stuff, but I have never gotten a pair that I could not wear.And then I met Amazon pants (trousers). The first set of 4 that I ordered in 30 x 30 in the indigo wash, all 4 at least were the same size which is good, but all 4 were far too small. After washing them the first time I tried them on, and both the waist and the length were off. Ok, that was my bad I figure, so I order 1 more pair this time in the 32 x 32 in the indigo wash, and 1 pair in the light wash also in 32 x 32, the next largest size in both dimensions as both dimensions were off. Seems reasonable.Got the new indigo wash pair in, and it was too big. Amazon alone of all the clothing companies I have ever owned seems to think the size I am should be I guess a 31 x 31, a size I so far have been unable to find. But low and behold the 32 x 32 is pretty good, the length is a bit off but the waist is good.Ok, that sucks, but they are not so bad that I can’t wear them at all, the too-small ones were, but you can wear too-big. So keep them I did and I have now had them for exactly 43 days. I have worn them a bit, but as with most people, I think, I have other pants and have simply added them to the rotation. I also have not taken a hammer, beating stick, or anything else I can think of that should have affected durability this quickly. But they are now falling apart. I noticed something hard in my shoe yesterday, dumped it out and it turned out to be one of the “rivets” at the corners of the pockets. Checked both pairs, and both are missing at least 2. Also, there are some small frayed threads here and there, but I think that is mostly normal. Not something I would expect in the first two months of normal wear.Long story short, until someone purchases one of each color of these, be warned. The sizes may be somewhat off or perhaps ridiculously off of what you would think are normal sizes. At least with the indigo wash, I would recommend avoiding them as the sizes I think were tampered with by someone who should not have done so, but of course, I have a small sample size so just proceed with caution. The light wash seems to be mostly on track with what sizes actually are, though, of course, your results may vary. The quality on the other hand, again with the caveat of small sample size, but across two pairs from seemingly entirely different lines since the sizes are so different, to have quality issues on 2/2 units is exceptionally bad from a QC standpoint.I do appreciate Amazon stepping in with a lot of the basic items to give some competition, but I have had some pants that I am pretty sure came from third-world countries and such, especially in the 80s and 90s, and these are the worst I have ever owned. Save your money, and buy some Levi’s that will actually make it through the first few years without falling apart on your body. This one may well be another failure that they have stopped caring about and are just trying to get costs back out of at this point.

Always happy with these jeans
These black jeans are probably my 14 or 15 pair of Amazon Essential brand jeans I have purchased in the last few years. I have short stocky legs, so the fact AE offer 28 length pants is a huge plus for me. I have chosen several colors in both the slim fit and skinny fit jeans. I must be very lucky so far because the pants measurements have been extremely consistent with absolutely no sizing issues and that’s after washing all my jeans several times. I am still wearing my first pairs I purchased back in 2020 and they have held up tremendously. For the price point(and they do slash their prices from time to time) you can not beat these comfortable, no nonsense, all purpose jean.

Lightweight fabric
The Amazon Essentials Men’s Slim-fit Stretch Jeans fit ok, but the fabric is considerably lighter weight than my other stretch jeans and feel more like slacks. My Arizona and Levis stretch jeans are made from fabric that is practically the same as non-stretch jeans; these are not. These might be cooler to wear in the summer, but I wish they were made from a heavier fabric.

Size is true, but no stretch. Well made, will buy again.
I usually buy stretch jeans a size down, but these Indigo Wash really have no stretch. I exchanged for a waist size up and they fit well. If you’re reading the reviews, be sure that you read only the ones in the color you choose, as for all practical purposes each color may fit or stretch differently. These were made in El Salvador, but others may be from a different country.

Built to last.
Bought these by mistake, thinking they were Levi jeans. Turned into a happy purchase. Fit similar to Levi jeans at better price and workmanship. The last 3 pair of Levi jeans have always worn out after a year in the seams of the crotch, making them unbearable in public. Now when I shop for jeans I always inspect that seams before buying, and it looks like Levi jeans are manufactured with wear already in the crotch. Go look next time you’re in the store. These jeans are solidly made and I’m happy with my mistake. Will buy again in the future.

Expected fit but darker than picture
Great fit. I ordered same size as I do with most jeans.They are comfortable and attractive.Ordered dark wash and they were darker than advertised, but is what I actually wanted since I wear them to the office and need to look like I’m comfortable but not going to be changing my oil on the car during lunch.
