Not high-quality fabric
I have been searching for non-maternity, nursing-friendly dresses, mainly in brick and mortar stores. But I had a trip coming up, so I searched Amazon for an extra option. I found the fabric of this dress to be really thin and exposed all of those post-partum lumps — you know, where you can see the outline of your bra through the back, etc.? Not for me. I ordered the maroon. The fit and stretch was good, but it was far too thin to keep. Sending this guy back.

A most versatile dress
I was a little skeptical about purchasing a dress online, especially since I was not familiar with Amazon essential product and only received it 2 days before the event that I was using it for.I am petite and the medium was perfect. I hung it up after opening the package and it was virtually wrinkle free. The color was beautiful and I felt very comfortable wit the wrap dress.I would definitely purchase another dress. It was not too sheer or clingy despite my wearing pantyhose.

Feels like I am wearing pajamas in a dress!
This dress is super comfy and flattering! I feel like I am wearing pajamas. I wear a tank top under it because I have a large chest. If you don’t want your bra showing, you will probably need to wear a tank top. This dress can be worn casually or dressed up, it is very versatile.

Love it
Love this dress! I am often between a large and XL in women’s clothes. I got the XL and it fits great. Perfect dress for teaching. The v neck is not too low, which is often my issue with true wrap dresses.

Thin material
Thin material that clings to you and is see through. Looked better once I put biker shorts on. But you can see the pockets (look at the pic I uploaded). Ordered a small and it was the correct size. 5’4” 140 lbs

Comfortable and Nice Dress
This is a great dress. I LOVE that it has pockets. I was expecting white polka dots, hence the 4 stars but they are tan, which is fine, just not what I was expecting. Plan to order another in another color.

Two stars off for the dated print
I had had high hopes for this. Nice cut! Nice color! That wrap dress that is flattering on so many! The close up of the fabric print on the website didn’t prepare me for the total in-person effect. It’s an eighties abstract pointilism print. There’s a reason why we left that print behind. Ugh. The same dress in the orange and white floral and the leopard print is just great, though. It’s the print, not the dress. The tiny scale of the print isn’t great either, it looks lost on a grown woman. Try this dress in another style.

My Favorite Dress Ever!!
I own every color of this dress. It has pockets! Flattering. It hits in all the right places. I get compliments every time I wear this dress. I can wear sneakers and dress it down or heels. I recommend it to everyone. And they buy it and then love it. Makes a great nursing dress being a v neck. I LOVE THIS DRESS! I do find I enjoy the pattern versions a little more than the solids.

Super soft dress, but check the stitching
I like this dress a lot. It’s incredibly soft, however, I wish I had checked the stitching sooner. Once I ordered it, I left it in the package for a while. When I went to wear it, I noticed that the armpit seam was completely undone and there’s a big hole. Because I did not open it immediately, I missed the return window.I do like the dress enough that I would try to order it again in the future.

This is a great dress!
I put this dress on and it was like I was born in it! Perfect fit, feels great, looks great! I got the black one for a special memorial and it was dressed up dressy without being too fancy. I really loved everything about the dress, I can just throw it on, and look put together! I’ll buy another color just cuz!

Finally a dress for women with a short waist!!
Yes! If you have a short waist ,you will love this dress! But beware… it is kind of clingy, but not too bad. I personally don’t care for the pockets on the side because with the lighter material, you can see the imprint of them, and they are so flimsy there’s not much you could put in there without it protruding out and looking strange, or weighing one side of your dress down, because the material is rather thin. I purchased 3 of them. One choice was the yellow, which is a beautiful color however, you can easily see the imperfections on the stitching , because of the light color .I returned it for the black polkadot dress, and I was pleased. Great price! For reference I am5’ 1/2”, weight 119lbs. And I purchased XS’s,and the dress reaches my knees…..Love It!!!

Nice soft fabric
I like it. It’s a bit long for my liking. But I’ll wear it to work so it’s fine. I’m 5ft 3in so it falls right below my knees on my calfs.

JUST BUY IT!!!!!!
These are by far the BEST dresses I have EVER purchased!!! In fact, I love them so much that I went ahead and got one in every color they sold! Being a “plus” size gal, I have always had trouble finding dresses that fit comfortably and are stylish as well. That is, until I purchased these dresses. Not only are they comfortable, but, they fit perfectly too! For reference I got them all in the XXL size. Except for the fact that they are a bit long on me (totally MY fault as I’m only 5’ tall!), I can’t find any other thing to complain about.In addition, they can be put in the washing machine and then in the dryer. Take them out and place them on a hanger and they are ready to go…..no ironing necessary!Can’t say enough about them. Have gotten more compliments than I can count each time I’ve put one on!Do yourself a favor and give one of them a try. I don’t think you’ll regret it!

Four stars only because it lays a little flat and isn’t the most flattering but overall good quality, cute print, and you can layer it or add a belt to fix those problems. Great for work! I’m 5’7 and 150lbs for reference.

True to size, classicly styled
Im a sucker for faux wrap. Love them. As a 16/18 I bought 4 AE dresses in XL. Perfect for my trip to Florida. Very little wrinkling. This A line is very complimentary for my pear shape. Falls very nicely. I can wear these with sneakers, slides or a nice sandal. I got plenty of compliments.Material for this one is like a good Hanes tee shirt. I wore a panty girdle to reduce quite visible bounce and giggle. The price is right to stock up on and/or gift.

WASH CAREFULLY!
Loved: light, comfortable fabric, flattering fit that visually reduces the tummy, pockets, variety of patterns and colors, length, and the versatility to wear out on a summer day with sandals or wear to work with a sweater or blazer and flats.Don’t love: have to pin the chest because it is too revealing for work and the fabric wears quickly. I washed the first floral dress on cold in a regular setting ang hung it to dry without reading the reviews. The material looked faded and pilled.After reading the reviews, I washed the second one (navy blue with red flowers) inside-out in a lingerie bag in cold water on the gentle cycle and hung it to dry. It looked better but still had that fuzzy sheen.I washed my third (black with polka dots) and fourth (tan animal print) ones the same way and they were both fine. The tan one fared best because of its light color.I have not worn or washed the fifth one (red with white flowers). I don’t like this one as much. It’s tomato red and the big flowers feel cartoonish, almost like Minnie Mouse. But I might try hand-washing from now on. I have not dried any of these in the dryer, but I imagine that would ruin the fabric.For reference, I ordered size large and usually wear a size 12. I am 5’6.5″ and weigh 175. Bust size is 40C. The dresses all fit nicely in my opinion.

Not a fan of the side pockets
Love the way the dress fits, and flares. I even ordered a second one in another color after seeing how the first one fit. Very flattering. Sleeves long enough to cover crepey skin. The only fault I have is I wish there were no pockets. They are on both sides, on the seam. Because of that, the seam does not lie perfectly flat, creating a bulge on the hips (NOT what I want…). Other than that, dress is flattering, and with a denim jacket thrown over it, hip pocket bulges don’t show.

Yellow Just Wasn’t My Color
I’ve been wanting a yellow dress & tried this one – it wasn’t my color. It also showed the pocket outlines & all the lumps & bumps. I returned the yellow, but I own a bunch of dresses like this from Amazon Essentials (mostly in prints). Very comfortable overall!

Incorrect color description
Really like these dresses. Very comfortable to wear daily. I own several in different colors. This one was listed as red floral but it was orange very, very orange, not orangish red, but orange. Not a deal breaker but thought a mention might be needed.

Cute fit but see through
I would have to wear a slip under this, which seems odd for a cotton dress. You can clearly see my underwear. I ended up wearing it as a nightgown because it’s very cozy!

The fit is perfect on these dresses. I did their measurements and right on the size
I really love these dresses. They fit nicely, the fabric is gorgeous and I have four of them now. The Burgundy is a little disappointing for me. It isn’t quite red enough for me. But I am keeping it anyway because it looks good on me says my husband! I also have the black, navy blue and the jade green. The jade green is an awesome color, it shines in this fabric!

Good
I am looking for dresses to wear in the summer that are easy to clean and help me look put together. I have kids so I didn’t to spend too much on something that could potentially get ruined by “jam hands”. I bought a small and extra small, I decided to keep the extra small, there’s not too much of a size difference but the extra small just fits a bit nicer. Also I’m not sure why the small was $27 and the extra small was $17, but I will be purchasing more of this style in the future, once I see how it washes and wears.I’m 5’9″, 120lbs, I’m usually a small but I kept the extra small. It hits a little bit above the knees, I feel it is long enough to wear while chasing after kids 🙂

Not perfect, but depending on fit could be really nice
I got my usual size L and it fits as expected, though I do feel like the top is way too open — I’d need to tack it a little so it’s not revealing (I’m 38D). Because the material is so stretchy, it is very comfortable but clings a bit which makes it not as flattering as it could be. If I sized up for more room, the top would be far too big though.

Pockets totally unnecessary
Not every single garment for women needs pockets. The pockets ruined this dress for me. They take an otherwise flattering fit in the skirt and completely ruin the silhouette, not to mention they are visible under the pretty yellow shade.

Fits beautifully.
This dress is soft and very flattering. The neckline is a bit low for me but a t-shirt under is fine. I bought the red with white flowers and the colors are as good as they look in the picture. It also has pockets which counts double for me.

Wrinkles will not come out
I liked the way the cut of the dress looks. However, it is incredibly wrinkled and a low iron (like the tag says) won’t remove the wrinkles. Disappointing. Who wants to look like they are headed out in a wrinkled nightgown?

I like it, but the yellow is perhaps a bit too see-through?
I’m having a baby this summer and wanted a couple of wrap style dresses for easy nursing. This dress is very soft and stretchy, but perhaps a bit prone to wrinkles, and a little see-through. Be prepared to wear your nude undies if you purchase yellow. Right now the dress is a little awkward on my body because the pockets get stretched out with my protruding tummy. But I anticipate my bump will not be so huge after I give birth and I think the dress will lay better on my postpartum body. Overall I’m happy with this casual dress, it is really nice for spring and summer!

Very comfortable
I was surprised at how much I liked this dress. It’s cuter than it looks online. It’s super comfortable, has pockets (which we all love), and is stretchy. It’s extremely flattering. I carry my fat in my belly and it camouflaged it pretty well. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it because it looked kind of plain but I needed a green dress for a school function. This for the bill for a business/casual dress. I took a star away because it’s a little long (I’m 5’7” and it comes just below my knees) and the fabric is white on the inside of the dress, which I’m just not sure about. Other than that, it’s really amazing!

Cheap fabric; only lasted 1 wearing
I bought this dress because I was asked to wear all black as a volunteer at a conference. I was looking for something comfortable, and casual enough to wear with sneakers, but somewhat professional, as I was hoping to meet possible future employers.The good: The dress was very flattering and comfortable. It looked cute with sneakers. The fabric was super soft and breathable.The bad: I was required to wear a name badge on a lanyard around my neck. At the end of the 1 day conference, the area under the badge had pilled due to the friction of the badge. (A typical light weight paper badge encased in a vinyl holder. Nothing unusually heavy.)So, the dress fulfilled its purpose, but only looked decent for 1 wearing. And, of course, since it’s been worn and washed, I can’t return it.If you’re only looking for a comfy dress to wear around the house, this dress would probably be fine, but if you plan to do normal activities out of the house, such as wearing a name badge, carring a purse, or anything that might create the slightest bit of friction, I would look for something different.

Exceeded expectations
I was skeptical of this dress since I’m petite (5’4”, 110lb) and not a lot fits amazing off the rack. But I ordered an XS in green floral and it fits amazing. The neck isn’t too low or too high, the hem is just right and the sleeves are a good length. Really comfy soft fabric. Doesn’t feel cheap. Has POCKETS! Still looks great after washing. Can be dressed up or down. I have gotten a lot of compliments on it already! Will be buying at least one more.

Cute and comfortable
I bought this dress last summer and loved it so much I bought another one this year. It’s comfortable and flattering. The material has just the right amount of stretch and drapes nicely. It runs true to size. For reference I’m 5’6″ and carry my weight on my upper half. Size Large fits me perfectly.

Cute dress – but this one probably was laundered before returned
This dress is cute and fit well. The Jade color was more of Hunter green to me than Jade. I am only giving four stars as the dress did not arrive in the original “Amazon Essentials” packaging. It arrived in the unmarked bag with a tag on it. Upon opening the bag, the fragrance of Gain hit me like a ton of bricks. I tried on the dress, and let it sit on a hanger for 48 hours to air it out. It still smells like Gain, so I am returning. If someone did wash this and return it, shame on them. I really did like the color and wish it would have been a brand new dress – if I so I would have kept it and ordered more colors.
