How to measure a feet
Step 1
Take the measurements during the afternoon or evening, as the feet can swell during the day.
Step 2
Place a sheet of paper on the floor against the wall, and place one of the foot heel against the wall.
Step 3
Mark the length of the foot with a pen in front of the longest toe. Then repeat the process with the other foot.
Step 4
Measure the distance from the lower part of the sheet and the drawn line. Compare the result obtained with the sizing chart.

Too Narrow
My 9 yo son wore out his last Kamik snowboots in Size 5 after wearing them all winter for 5 months (we live in a Colorado ski town). So I ordered these is Size 6 thinking he could wear them another 6 months, but this style or new footbed was too narrow even though it was a full size larger. Sad, because we liked the color. The description on Amazon just says Kids boots, not Girls Boots, but I’m wondering if that was the width difference?? Anyway, sent these back and ordered Tundra snow boots in Size 6 instead and they fit perfectly.

Not good for kids. Bad fit, hard to put on.
I bought a size up, as recommended, they were still at least two sizes to small. Even if they did fit, they are so difficult to pull onto a toddlers foot.Do not recommend at all.I was willing to spend whatever and ended up finding that the Target brand is far superior to these.

Got 2 Left Boots
The boots appear to be what we ordered, however we got two left boots. I’ll leave a better review if the company rectifies this mistake. It’s actually quite odd because the tops, where the ensignia is appears to be a right and a left. But the soles are both left (the arch is on the same side on both boots).

Perfect snow boots
These were purchased for my 10 year old, abs will be handed down to his younger sister. They’re great for kids who are in a hurry to get out and play in the snow because the foot slips right in. These were worn daily for outdoor recess this season and show zero wear.

Great boots. Fit small!
I ordered these for my 5 year old son and found them to be a full size too small. They also have a more narrow fit than other boots. Once I sized up they were great. Very warm and they seem quite durable

Not waterproof.
These boots may pass the waterproof test in the snow, but slush and rain will leave you with a wet liner every single time. They’re warm though, when they stay dry.

Socks will get wet
I was looking for a winter boot that my daughter could use in a daily basis at schoolsince we still have a lot of snow and her class goes on a trail hike in snow every week. Unfortunately, these boots will not keep your kids feet dry for more than a an hour or so. She has came home with the insert completely wet and her socked soaked through. I have to take the insert out every night and put it in the dryer to dry for the next morning. I’m concerned she will get Athletes foot. I would not recommend this boot for snow but for rain and walking in the cold is fine.

Runs small
My son wears a size 3.5 sneaker and has really skinny feet. These were too short AND too narrow for his foot in a size 5!

So far best boots for kids
This is the 4th type of winter boot I have tried for my kids, and so far these have been the best. They were recommended to me by a friend and she said this is the only kind she buys for her kids, so I thought I would give it a try. My kids seem to really like them. Comfortable and warm. Going forward this is the brand I intend to order again.

Amazing quality
I ordered a size bigger for both of my kids considering the snow socks that would go inside, they are super amazing quality and it comes w a removable insole, easy to put in and out for my 4yr, for my 2 yr still working on that… but over all super satisfied

Comfy and Warm with room to grow!
Bought these for my Son last year and they are totally waterproof, comfortable and fit him beautifully with room to grow. My Son has a wide foot and these were super comfortable and easy to slip on and off and kept him very warm during the NJ Winters and the snow. He will probably be able to use these next Winter without any problems.

Great quality
I have these for my boys, they are the only boots that can last several seasons and still be passed down to younger brothers. Many other brands fall apart with one season. My boys wear them most every day in the winter.

Great kids winter boot
Easy for my kid to put on himself. Removable liners are a nice bonus. Good quality materials as always with Kamik. This is the 4th or 5th pair we’ve bought for our son through the years and are never disappointed.

Very well made and warm!
We love Kamik! We ordered these for my 7 year old. I needed a boot with removable liners so they’re earsier to dry. He is a size 13 or 1 depending on the brand, 1 being a little big. I ordered a 1 hoping they would be a little big. They are not! I would say they run a little small. They fit but definitely won’t fit at all next year. He has a regular width foot. We don’t find them to be too narrow as other have stated. They are very warm and well made. Will order them again next year! They must have good arch support because it took a while for him to get used to the bump in the arch. He loves them now.

Sturdy boots. Do as promised. Go at least one size up!
Sturdy enough to withstand snow and low temperatures. Waterproof. Kept their feet dry and warm. The kids complained about it being too tight, although I had already gone a size up (as recommended in other reviews). I think it has something to do with the thick lining (see in the pictures) which is precisely what keeps their feet warm). As someone mentioned here, you can take it out, but with it would go all the insulation as well.

Reliable performer
I purchase these same boots every year in different sizes. They work wonderfully at keeping my kids’ feet warm and dry. They are good quality and would last a couple seasons if not for my kids growing like weeds.

Quality and comfort
Wow! Bought a pair of “snow boots” last year, they don’t hold a candle to these. No doubt my 9 year will have warm and DRY piggies!I did my research and in the end it was between these Kamik, and Keen,So happy I chose these. My son tried these on and said they are so comfortable and non restrictive.Really nice unexpected thick (non removable) lining on the inside 😊My 9 year old son typically wears a 13.5 Nike athletic shoe. Based on reviews I went up to a 1Nice job Kamik, SCORE mommy!

Great boots!
I am so happy to have found these boots for such a great price! They are good to -40 zero, waterproof and super easy on and off for my six year old. They’re super well made, we ordered a little big to hopefully get two seasons out of! The pairs we’ve had in the past still looked brand new after heavy use for two winters!

My son measures at 2.5, but the 3 was snug so we returned it, and ordered the 4.
The 4 stays on but leaves room to grow. I ordered this boot for both my boys and they are absolutely in love with the comfort of the insert, and the ease of putting these on, and the warmth. They are withstanding the Mountain snow well in their first week.

Insulation is very thick which means warm but tight
We had to keep changing the size; two size up and still didn’t fit! The neck part is too squeezing; my child said it is too tight! It has thick insulation so it is warm for sure and I like the weather wet proof material outside as well but it prevents my child’s feet from fitting. Too too tight. Size three up doesn’t make any sense because of the feet size so we gave it up afterwards. They should make the neck part less tight!!! That is the only matter

Nice boot
Great boot. Runs big. Love that you can use pull string to close off top to keep snow out of boot.
