Fun game to add to your collection.
Got the Battleship game as promised and on time for game night, however it did arrived with a crack on one of the plastic panels all the way down column 5 (as seen in the photo), it wasn’t obvious at the time of opening it until placing the peg target pieces on it.Kept the game anyway and didn’t return it (probably should have), still works just need to be careful while playing and placing the pegs pieces onto that cracked column 5 panel as to not to make it worse.Good for gaming at home but with all the loose small playing peg pieces wouldn’t really recommend for traveling as they may get lost.

It never gets old.
We love to play this game. The only downside is that the pecks fall easily, you have to keep the board in 45 degrees..I will still buy it again and also great for a little gift

No pieces to pop out!
This was a really good buy for my 8 year old. It has self-storage and no need to pop out the 7000 (exaggeration) little tabs from a plastic frame! 5 stars for me!

A classic great for neurovisual and motor skill rehab
I bought this as a vision therapy exercise aid for myself, as Battleship is one of the exercises used to train visual scanning in neurovisual rehabilitation.it’s great having this childhood board game around again, and the gamification makes rehab feel less tedious. The small pieces and holes require good fine motor skills and make it a good therapy for my hands/thumbs as well. The only con I would mention is the letters are the same clear plastic, if it wasn’t clear or used contrast in the labeling they would be easier to see. I like that the two boards lock together so I don’t worry about losing them. You can play from different rooms over the phone or with Alexa’s drop-in feature, which is nice if you’re disabled like me and dealing with isolation or limited mobility that may make sitting at a table for extended time painful.

My grandsons loved it!
My husband and I used to play battleship and had a lot of fun so I was pretty sure our grandsons, and everyone else, would love it….and they did! I gave it three stars as a travel game only because of the little pieces involved which would not be great in a car but if it’s taken to a hotel, family visit, etc. it would be great.

Nostalgic
My 8 year old wanted one of these and we had so much fun. I decided to get this version instead of the electronic one to give it that nostalgic feel. It was a great time and he almost beat me. Almost.

Retro, but more!
I completely bought this because my husband was playing Battleship online, and if he’s going to lose at Battleship, it’s going to be to me!I love that it’s updated so the two game boxes connect when not in use, it makes it easy to take with us when we go out of town, and we need a showdown! The board on top is labeled really well, and you can see where you’re ‘firing’. The board on the bottom is not as well labeled, and you need to get the right light to see the letters and numbers, so you know if the space called is a hit or a miss.We really enjoy this game, and am only taking a star away for visibility on the bottom board.

It’s a miss! Skip this version please.
“Who gives 2 stars to one of Hasbro’s most popular games?!”I do.Why? Because this iteration of the game is complete garbage. I have three major gripes that make this product fit for the bottom of a dumpster. Honestly, it’s like Hasbro never even tested this product before they hit print and send. Major issues: (1) The pins and the ships fall out easily from the top section. I’d let this slide if this weren’t one of the MOST IMPORTANT FEATURES OF ANY BATTLESHIP GAME. (2) The section where you put the ships for storage is surprisingly difficult to use. Frankly, I’d rather they just give a tray section where you can dump them in. Trying to align the pins on the bottom of the ships, and put them in the right orientation and placement is more annoying than expected. (3) They give you beautiful and clear letter and number markings on the top section, but on the bottom section, they decided that you don’t need to be able to read the headings on the columns or rows. It makes absolutely no sense to cut this corner, and it makes the game play very frustrating.Overall, I *strongly* recommend that you choose a different version of this game. I had high hopes, and I thought I would really like the form factor (cool handles!), but the stupid decisions made by Hasbro make this a complete fail.

True closes up like a little briefcase.
First off, this is the real thing, not a cheap knockoff. The whole thing arrives assembled. There are two latches you use to separate the 2-units. Yep, they are not joined at the hip as I thought they might be.So this is great, you can play a friend who is sitting on the couch while you are sitting in a chair. All the pieces came with it. I counted to make sure. Uses no electricity and is definitely a good brain game for 2-players.When done there are slots and punches to place everything for the next game. Reconnect the two boards, redo the latches, and you have that little briefcase with a handle on top to carry to new destinations. So nice.I would definitely buy again from this seller.

Love This Game
We already had the Battleship game but the boards weren’t separate. This comes with separate boards so we can each sit in our recliner and play. It’s sturdy, very well made. Highly recommend this. The product and price are both the best!

A classic
Grew up playing this game and it never disappoints! Love the design of this – you can separate the two sides so you and your opponent don’t have to sit right next to each other. The game locks in place, making it easy for travel without losing the pieces. My only complaint is it feels pretty light and cheap. Don’t push too hard – it might break!

A must have for every household
I forgot how much fun this game is! Great for all ages, and presents a much needed break from screens. Only thing keeping from a 5 star is what I would consider a design flaw/overlook. The top board (where you place your guesses) has the letters and numbers printed and are easy to read whereas the bottom board that you place all of the ships on does not. The letters are just clear/translucent. I have 20/20 vision and still found myself squinting and getting close to the board to see the letters. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t print on both.

Great nostalgic game
I loved playing Battleship as a kid. Now I have the luxury of playing with my kids and my wife. Traveling is hard with this one because those small pieces love to find their way under the seats of the car. Fun game 🙂

Easy to play, but difficulties with the playfield
The game is easy to put together and play, but the bottom board is hard to read the numbers/letters on the grid. Also the pegs do not stay in very well on the top board. The storage is nice and easy for clean up.

Newer is better
Normally I prefer the classic versions of games, but this is a huge improvement on what the game used to be. Little annoyances like getting your pieces stuck in the board are gone. Glad we upgraded.
