Great Suction For Firm Grip
Overall I’m satisfied with my choice. It’s easy to install once I figured out the position it needed to be in to mount on my windshield. The suction holds strong. My Samsung phone was surprisingly much taller than the actual phone holder, but this did not seem to cause a problem. The easy release button on the back is great.

This thing is a bit pricey, but it epitomizes that old saying “You get what you pay for.”. It feels like it’s part of the car. I love it!The true test will be how it survives a Carolina summer. We’ll see. Until then, I’m happy.

Great for delivery Drivers
If you drive for Uber Eats or DoorDash, buy this now!!! I had a magnetic one before and not only was it destroying my vent because the rubber broke and it was just metal holding on, but my phone would fall and all because it didn’t have a secure grip on the vent. This thing has a dash option, window option or vent. The vent latches on tight with a locking mechanism. And with all the jumping in and out of your car to get orders or take pictures, all you do is press the button on the back of the holder and it releases your phone. And then you squeeze the clamps back together to tighten. I drive like a mad man and this has been a lifesaver. When other things are flying around my car, my phone stays put. Buy this!!

Works on textured dash!!!
I purchased this mount based on the reviews and I’m glad I did. My hesitation was initially because I know that it’s hard to find a mount that will stick to a textured dash. When I first installed it, I followed instructions, and a few hours later it fell off. I contacted their customer service to get help. Meanwhile, I reinstalled it, but this time I pressed the suction cup down A LOT harder before pushing the clip down to secure the mount in place. It has been 11 days and the mount has not fallen off. At the same time, I got almost immediate responses from customer service. They had great tips, and even sent me an extra ring and suction cup that works better with my type of dashboard. The only flaw, in my opinion, is that depending on where I install it, the arm is not very long. I am petite and drive a car that has a dash that is not close so I need to stretch a few inches to reach my phone. Not a big complaint, just an observation for us shorter individuals. Highly recommend this product.

But what I didn’t expect was that when I returned to the office back from my Xmas break in 2023 I received an email from a VANMASS wishing me a happy new year and wanting to know how the product was performing now.The 36-month warranty offered by VANMASS is more than a simple guarantee. No matter how much time has passed they still consider the needs and feelings of each customer. These guys have again renewed my belief in humanity with their over-the-top customer service.To the initial query, I believe I have an answer, and that factor is the CERTIFICATION OF TIME. Although the Amazon marketplace is sophisticated, the mission of the phone mount is simple – to make driving easy. This mount has done that for the past 3 years, and I think it will do so well beyond that given its high quality of it.I travel quite frequently with my kids and love to go on adventures with them. Each year we prepare a list of places and people we wish to visit that year. It took me about one hour to finish my lunch at Serrano’s instead half-hour at others.Customer service told me that when the temperature outside the car is 100 ℉， after half an hour, the temperature inside the car is about 130℉, after one hour, 150℉. The car mount fall out because of the temperature growth rapidly.From then on, I would insert the car mount into the the vent or park the car in the shade during the hot weathers, no matter which Mexican restaurant I went to, I never encountered this problem again, lolI am very grateful to the customer service of VANMASS for helping me solve the problem. I truly feel that VANMASS is professional and responsible, the reply is timely and not perfunctory. In short, VANMASS is a brand I CAN TRUST! Best shopping experience on Amazon.

What a grip!
The best holder I’ve ever come across! Now, I haven’t used the “suction cup” option because I prefer the vent clip, but if it’s as good as advertised like the vent clip is, it will be awesome. So I can only speak on the clip. If you’ve got the style of a/c vents in your vehicle that will accommodate the clip all you do is slide it on and close the latch. It ain’t going nowhere! Now “my” vent may turn sometime when on a real bumpy road, because they are round and can spin around. But, the clip and my phone ain’t going nowhere! When this happens (occasionally), I just turn my phone back to where it was at. When you set your phone in cradle, and close those side panels with your hand, you can sure your phone’s not going anywhere. Also the quick release button on the back is really handy. Just touch, panels open, retrieve phone. Real nice. This thing is well worth the money.

Best wireless charging phone mount and support
If you are looking for quality, durability and stability I’m your phone holder this is it. I am on my third one. 1st I bought for a friend, got jelly and bought one for myself lol. It lasted through 2 cars and a rental with out loosing its suction and sticky. Just moisten when you reinstall in clean dry surface. It last me almost 3 years. It comes with dash mount, window mount as well as vent option. It automatically closes the side clamps as soon as your phone hits the bottom sensor and has side sensors to release. It can be used horizontal or vertically. It has wireless charging capabilities but if you wanna use your fast charging cable there is room for that. Once you plug into your phone wireless charging goes into standby mode. It doesn’t melt or get your phone to hot in the summer months, like some chargers do. They offer a 36 month replacement warranty/guarantee and stand by it. Mine finally gave out at 34 months but I have never had one last that long lol. I wrote VannMas and they replaced it, for free! If your looking for your one and only phone holder look no further. VanMass has you covered.I’m now on the search for other VanMass items I have missed.

Did Not Work For Me
UPDATE: I give this experience 4 stars but the product itself only deserves 3. The extra star is for the service and attention I have received since my original review. After my review, the company chose to send me two more devices to see if my experience could be improved. One of the devices appeared to be identical to the one I ordered and so was no better. But the second device seems to be an improved version. The attachment for the air vent still doesn’t work for my vehicle, but the dashboard adhesive, seems to be working. It’s only been a few days since I installed it, but it hasn’t detached yet and has stayed in place even with the weight of the phone. The original, would not stick at all, even without the phone in the holder. Fingers crossed this works out. The company, meanwhile, has been nothing but helpful and conciliatory in trying to make things right. – 12/10/23 The best thing about this device is that it’s easy to get the phone in and out of it, because the grippers that hold it are easy to adjust. But that’s only good, if the device actually stays in place. It does not. It does not work on leather dashboards. I don’t recall reading that in the description. No adhesion – at all. The second way to install it, on an air vent, ALSO does not work, as the weight of the phone falls forward, pulling it out of the vent, no matter how tightly it’s clamped on. Big fail for my needs.

Just ok for me
I couldn’t use the self adhesive arm of this product because I couldn’t find a good mount location. The clamp part that clips onto an air vent does work, but isn’t real stable and I hesitate to get forceful with it as that may cause the vent to break. I think it is a good product overall, just doesn’t work well for me.

Cool holder
I like the holder. It’s sturdy and looks good. Some reviews said it fit their phone with the case on just fine. I have a Walli case and it’s a little bit of a struggle getting it in and the arms tightened around it. If I still had my loopy case I’d have to take it off to put it in there. Overall I like it and it works great.

I was given a full refund and sent replacements.Couldn’t get the sides to adjust.To Seller: thank you for reaching out, and offering two replacements, but it is too late. Since the mount was already stuck to the dashboard I found an old holder and attached it. That is why I didn’t return it to Amazon since it couldn’t be easily be removed once attached. I will update your stars since you went out of your way to make this right.

I’ve had similar products that only last a few months, figured I’d try this one. I drive a truck and can go from blizzard conditions to HOT desert heat in a matter of hours, most windshield mounts only last a few months, hoping for better results here.

Love it!
My friend had one of these in her car when we went on a road trip. I got the link from her and ordered immediately! It’s extremely sturdy and versatile. It also can hold a big phone in a case. I’ve tried several different phone holders for my car and always ended up throwing them away. Mine has been installed in my car for months with no issues. I feel much safer answering my phone and looking at navigation having this product attached to my dashboard holding my phone.

I am actually blown away by how amazing this company is when it comes to caring about their customers! I was offered either a replacement at no charge or a refund just b/c it failed to meet the original expectations i purchased it for. I am beyond happy and would recommend this company over anyone for the sole fact of going above and beyond what is even expected. thank you!!i was very dissapointed b/c i bought this specifically for my dash however even with the additional super suction, as soon as i put my phone on the mount it fell right off. I waited over 24 hours overnight before using. I tried numerous times to reapply but it wouldnt take the weight of my iphone 14 pro. i did go ahead and mount to the windshield and it sticks fine. i didnt want it there b/c it blocks my sunvisor but it is what it is.

Works very well (almost)
Well-designed and well-built: It feels solid.My quirky old car doesn’t have GPS so I use my phone and Google Maps for directions. I tried a phone holder that was supposed to fit into the air vents but it didn’t hold. So I got this thing, which gives you the option of sticking it to the dashboard with a strong adhesive. I attached it to my dashboard and it’s pretty darned immovable. A good thing unless you want to re-position it.The joints let you move it several degrees in several directions. However, I wish the arm were longer so I could bring it closer to my face. (Auntie D. wears progressive glasses and the phone is just outside of the middle-vision range.) I’ve only had one real problem: it has two “arms” that hold the phone in place, and once, bouncing over a large bump in the road, they released the phone onto the car floor. Fortunately no harm done except to my nerves. I hope that remembering to squeeze the arms tight prevents this from happening again.Oh, another good design element: there’s a slot at the bottom that allows you to plug in a power bank while the phone is in the holder. Useful on long trips that run down the phone battery.

missing a part
Was never able to use this product. By the time it was opened to install, found out a piece was missing so was unable to install and use it. it was past the time to return it unfortunately.UPDATE: The company reached out to me and actually not only replaced my item, they have also offered to refund me on top of that. Now that’s some EXCELLENT service! I Was not expecting this at all, just figured i was out my money, Thank you VANMASS. I highly recommend them, and I would definitely order from them again without a worry.

Very sturdy and adjustable
This product has many points of adjustment to help you get the perfect angle of your device while driving. I have never had any issue with the suction or adhesive, It has stayed in place for over a year and a half. Their customer service line has been very responsive and helpful. Great holder look no further
This holder is great. I wanted to change where I had mounted on my dashboard and it took a lot of muscle to get it off. Love the positioning of the release button being on the back close to the bottom so it only takes 1 hand to take it off even with small hands. It keeps the phone stable while driving. There are several adjustments on the unit allowing to mount in a variety of different positions. With all the different positions it does make it a little challenging depending on where you mount it. I would suggest to keep the paper on the suction cup until you figure out the perfect spot. The sticker is very sticky. I like the ease of pushing the arms together and when you press the button to release, it’s smooth giving the impression that it’s good quality. After reading the reviews, I decided to mount it on the plastic less porous part of my dashboard behind my screen. Where I had to mount, wish the arms would swivel so I could bring it out to the side of my screen. Just takes a little bit to get used to where I have it right now.

It was in my friend’s car that I noticed this car phone holder. He said it had worked for more than a year without any issues. This seemingly simple holder contains so many features and designs that I almost snuck away with it, lol. After getting the product link from my friend, I also compared it with other mounts. It does cost a bit more, but it’s really worth it!Due to the complex environment inside the car, such as bumps, high temperatures, and space, a good car phone holder should take many factors into account. Here are some of the factors that I consider when choosing a car phone holder.👉Appearance. The appearance is as described, but if you check carefully, you will find it has a matte black design that does not easily leave fingerprints. The sides of the clip arm and the bottom of the phone holder are protected by soft silicone pads that not only hold the phone firmly but also prevent any scratches on my phone. While I haven’t had any issues with the device causing scratches, it’s pleasant to see that.👉Phone compatibility. This car phone mount works perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra whit a thin case. Whether it is compatible with your phone or case depends on the clamp arm’s width and height. Good as vent clip.
Maybe it’s my car maybe I suck at putting on phone holders but the suction cup part of this phone holder does not stick. I will say I have a leather dashboard and I know the instruction. Say, that the suction cup Doesn’t work on leather alone and you need to put the plastic disk thats included onto the leather piece. And then the section cup on top of the plastic disc. When putting on the plastic disk and sticking it to my dashboard instructions says to wait 24 hours. I did that then I put on my section cup arm. Waited 15 minutes Added my phone and less than 24 hours later, it all popped all off from the dashboard. Mind you, this is the third section cup arm device I have tried and everyone of them a different brand. I loved the arm while it was up. It was great, perfect distance away from my face. Perfect positioning, it was amazing. It’s high quality material and I recommend it for anybody that has a plastic dashboard.But for those that have a leather dashboard, use the vent clip. I’ve had many vent clip phone holders as well. This one is by far the best, and it really truly holds on strong. I don’t like using the vent clip holder because it’s sits there right in front of my heat when its the winter time and overheats my phone. But I guess these are the sacrifices one must make. It does clip on very tight. It holds on very strong. And I have had some really hard bumps this past week. And it has stayed on there with no problems. All in all, I definitely recommend this product. And the only reason why I’m knocking it down to a 4 star is because I can’t use that suction cup arm.

Sturdy
I purchased this because the one I had used for a few years would not stay suctioned to my dash. I love that this uses a dual system for adhering to the dash. It uses adhesive and suction. It is sturdy and I have not had any issues with my phone falling out or the holder falling off the dash. It is easy to install and has several adjustments allowing you to place your phone exactly where you want it. We liked this so much that we purchased a second one for my husband’s work van. Highly recommend.

Got this for my phone as I’m a home health aide so I drive around between clients and sometimes need gps this has been amazing my old one would randomly loosen and my phone would fall this is very sturdy it’s adjustable so many different phones could fit it and it bends in more then one spot making it great for different areas…

Works Perfectly
Holds strong and works perfectly mounted to the dash in a 2012 Honda Odyssey holding a Samsung S23 Ultra. It held up with temps below freezing and up to 60 degree days. I will update the review after we see how it holds up in the hot summer sun.The vent clip holds nicely too, but I didn’t want my phone in front of the heat/air vent.

Outstanding customer service
At first I was excited to receive this phone holder, but, like all phone holders before it, if falls short of the mark.It’s attractive, my big phone fits easily, it releases phone easily, charging while it’s in the holder is easy, but… keeping it in place in the air vents while underway – not so much. Granted I have a big, huge pick-up truck that kind of rumbles and shakes so I won’t judge this holder’s ability to hold on to the vent too harshly, however, even just idling it vibrates out of position. I’ve placed the holder as far down on the vent as it will go, to provide some support from underneath, but it still falls. Now, I can still see the screen but it’s kind of points down and a little away from my view, making it unsuitable as a device that I can use on the road. I think it may be more dangerous to have it tilted like that than to just keep it in the center console and pick it up when I need to see something lol.I haven’t tried the suction device on the windshield yet. I hesitate, as it would need to be on the left side of the steering wheel so I can see it, otherwise I would need to fumble for my reading glasses if it were further away. The problem with the left side of the steering wheel is that I love to have the window open, and I can just see it bouncing out. So.. either I risk it bouncing out the window to its inevitable demise or close the window. Neither is really acceptable, but I will try it out before I give it away. Update is forthcoming.UPDATE: Vanmass reached out to me in an effort to make me a happier customer – I was very impressed that they sent, without me initiating it – *two* replacement whole phone mount kits to see if I can find a combination that works for me. I haven’t tried it yet as the truck is out of commission right now, but this is truly the best customer service I have yet to encounter. Kudos!

Originally I received a defective one, but they refunded my money and sent 2 more without me asking.
My original review was 1 star for the following reasons:This product advertises it can hold over 60 lbs. on its suction cup to the windshield or dashboard of the car. I never made it that far because cheap plastic arms will not hold a phone. There is a button you are supposed to press to open and close/lock the arms in place to keep your phone secure. The button didn’t do anything. The arms were fully open and there was some spring mechanism that pushed the arms open, but I couldn’t lock them to my phone width. My device is always in the fully open position and is incapable of holding onto anything. The teeth on the arms are nothing but cheap plastic. I didn’t break the thing open to take a look inside, but I suspect the rest of the internal components are cheap, too. I am sending it back for a refund—total lemon. I would have more luck using a large rubber band to attach my phone to an object in the car.Updated Review, 5 stars for customer service, 4 stars for holding a phone vertically, and 3 stars to hold a phone horizontally.I returned the defective holder for a refund without issue. Then the seller took it upon themselves to send me two more units at no charge. A+ on customer service.I have used both the suction cup version and the version that attaches to the car air vents to hold a Samsung A52 . Either method works best if you want to orient the phone vertically. It doesn’t work well if you want to hold the phone horizontally.The holder does well in the vertical orientation because you have support on the bottom (gravity pulls the phone down towards the fixed bumpers). and the phone has support on each side (the moveable arms you squeeze to clamp). Once you orient the phone horizontally, you lose one of the supported sides’ effectiveness. In this position, no support passes through the phone’s center of gravity, so it wants to twist out the open end. I have used the charging cable to help keep the phone against the fixed bumpers.Even though the phone is not as secure in the horizontal position, I prefer this orientation so the phone does not block the field of view out of the windshield. It should not be an issue for a customer who drives a vehicle higher off the ground (SUV/Trucks).I can’t speak to the device’s longevity, since I have only used it a few times. But it’s a good bet if you do have an issue, it’s easy to get it replaced or your money back. The seller has been very responsive to wanting to make things right. They even include a card in the package to contact them if you have any issues.

Update: Seller reached out to me and gave me a new version of the plate! It stuck perfectly to my new Honda Pilot and I am so satisfied with the customer service and product :)I bought this a couple years back for my honda civic and it was so perfect. The suction was like a death grip. Did not come off, even after an accident! Thinking it was a great purchase, I bought another one for my new Honda Pilot. This time however, the product wasn’t as good. The plate wouldn’t adhere to the dashboard like it did in the civic. I hope they’re not reducing quality over time. Not pleased with this purchase.
