I was excited to get this doll. I think I over paid by about $30. She is just a Barbie and an ethnic Samatha resemblance to Celia is minimum minimal to say the very most. I’ve waited a long time for a Celia Cruz Barbie. I was just hoping she wouldn’t look like Barbie.

What the crackin?
The hair came sticking up and hard. The outfit is beyond cheap looking and atrocious and her “jewelry is the cheapiest looking gray plastic possible.I bought it based on the photos and the fact that it looks just like her. What a way to do her dirty with the clothes and accessories.Very disappointing. Two stars for the face/body. Zero stars for the rest.Returning.

The Bang and sideburns are Horrible
The hair on every doll looks like an afterthought! This is suppose to be a collectors item! Mattel should have taken their time and wrapped a clear band around the bang & side burns so they don’t look like they are flying! I’m embarrassed to showcase this doll and returned it!

You can tell care was taken in packaging, dolls came wrapped in tissue paper inside Mattel boxes. It was pouring outside, so even though the Amazon exterior box was drenched, the dolls were dry. Thanks for a great price and quality!

Surprise Gift
I pre-ordered the Celia Cruz doll for my aunt and sent it to her in Panama as a surprise. She was so happy to receive her. She told me it was her first Barbie since she’d always bought Barbies for her daughter and other little girls. FYI my aunt is 78!!!

I pre-ordered back in early September, and I am totally thrilled to finally have my Celia Cruz doll!!! I received it on what would have been her 98th Birthday… what a great coincidence! Then again, there have been many coincidences in our lives! Beautiful doll, lots of exquisite details that make it very unique! I am sure that it’s going to be a Collector’s item.

Magnifique
C’est une très belle barbie articulée sauf les pieds. Elle a un beau corps rond mais pas trop, et de la poitrine contrairement aux curvy actuelles. Elle est bien proportionnée. Elle a beaucoup de colles dans les cheveux, je les ai lavé en essayant de ne pas abîmer sa coiffure. Il y a juste un détail, ses bijoux sont argentés alors que tout le reste est rouge et or, dommage ce manque d’harmonie. Sinon elle est arrivée dans le carton mattel d’origine, il faut faire attention en la retirant de sa boîte, la dentelle de sa robe est accrochée partout au carton. Sinon elle est parfaite, sans défauts et elle mérite son prix, bien plus modéré que celui des barbies du film moins belles. Elle mérite son achat et de ne pas rester dans sa boîte, cela fera très plaisir à une fillette pour son Noël.
