    Sturdy well made toy

    I have purchased this set of John Deere toys several times for little boys that I have adopted through my community’s Adopt a Family program. I will put a set in the Operation Christmas Child shoebox for a young boy as the WOW gift. I read the complete product description and found that the toys were manufactured in Switzerland and not China!

    This is a really nice set of play sand vehicles and the perfect size for our 2 1/2 year old grandson and our green turtle sand box. Not too big for the sand box and not too small for his little hands. Well made. Easily cleaned. Holds just the right amount of sand for a shovel full or two. Nice bright colors. Good purchase.

    These are well made, a great size, and my one year old loves them! The pieces feel solid, not flimsy or like they’re going to fall apart. The moving parts operate cleanly. They’re the perfect size to haul a couple of my son’s Little People animals. I would definitely recommend these to anyone considering buying them.

    Best truck/tractor set for toddlers

    My 16 month old son is obsessed with trucks and tractors. He loves this set. He’s the energetic type so these have been thrown, chewed on, stepped on, etc. and they still look brand new. He’s just starting to make sounds to go along with these, and it’s great to see him pushing them around on the floor. He also has learned to identify our neighbor’s tractor with these. He points to his toy and then to the real thing, and seems very pleased that he has one too.

    Dumb Dump, corrected.

    The dump on the truck opens too easily. If you hold the dump from the top the bottom truck swings open. If sand is loaded too far in the back of the dump the sand falls out. So, I corrected this by adding a piece of adhesive cork between the dump and the frame. Easy fix. Now the dump can adjust to any position automatically. It is more fun and interactive. The manufacturer could easily change the plastic design to end this problem in the future. It is a nice looking fun toy, especially when combined with the front loader tractor.

    Favorite toy!

    I got these for my one year old and I’m so so impressed!! I have had them 3 month. He LOVES THEM! he plays with them everyday. He has thrown and dropped them, the dog got them once and they are still holding strong! These are the perfect trucks for any boy!! Will definitely order more for friends and family.

    Relatively small, stickers fell off the first time the toys got wet, but plastic seems ok, the size is good for a 3yo. Overall, the set is worth the $10 they are asking and will work great in a sandbox.

    Great Toys, sometimes need to adjust the wheels

    These are a great size for toddlers. They are big enough to be substantial, but small enough to lift easily with one hand. I had issues with the wheels on the dump truck not turning anymore. This can be resolved by pushing in the yellow center of the wheel and pulling out on the black tire so they are aligned again – I have to do this a few times a week. Besides that, they are great. After a few months, some of the paint is wearing off, but they still seem fairly durable.
