Reviewers are idiots. GREAT PRODUCT!
Dude, Thai product is perfect. I am not sure if previous posters didn’t know how to use or what. I literally ordered 24 thinking it was defective as previous people wrote.Every one worked. You have to flip the freaking coin portion for it to disappear and reappear.Again….I ordered 24 for 10 kids. Thinking half would not work. Each one did. Smh.Perfect product for my daughter’s 5th magic birthday.

Low quality build: friction in the wrong places
I wanted to like these because they’re so inexpensive, but the quality isn’t great. The box is a bit sticky sliding into the case making it difficult for young children to do. And more importantly, the coin hiding mechanism is too loose which means just tilting the inner box (without the case) causes the coin to slide hidden or revealed. There should be more friction on the hide/reveal mechanism so it’s only activated by the case, and the box should side freely in the case.

Buy more than what you need
There are 24 individually wrapped coin sliders in each package. It’s a fun product for the intended purpose, but some will be defective. I bought a total of 48 coin sliders of which 6 broke open as I tested them. So, if you need them for a big party or school activity, calculate an extra 10% more pieces than what you need and test them out.

You get what you get.
I’m a teacher and give these as prizes and gifts. The problem is that some of the toys are defective. I’ve ordered these for many years and that’s just how they come. Some are perfect. Some are too loose and some are too tight. The ones that are perfect are amazing.

Not recommended. Too easy to see how the trick is done.
While a coin slide, magic coin case, etc… is not an especially convincing magic trick, it does have the benefit of being at least initially startling and, most importantly, it is very easy for a child (even as young as four) to do. However, for the “slide” to work effectively, it cannot reveal where the (vanished) coin might have gone. In other words, the “slide” should never provide a “glimpse” into the “inner workings” of how the trick is accomplished. A good “slide” is only “activated” by pushing the (inner) slide into the (outer) case.Unfortunately, the (inner) slide on these (Rhode Island Novelty 4 inch Magic Coin Case Black barcode X002NI7705, Item #: JK-COICA, Made in NingBo, China with barcode 09713861838) can be ‘activated’, when outside the outer case, with just light shaking, or just turning one end of the slide at a slight angle to the ground. In other words, a child will inadvertently and all too easily reveal how the trick is done. This is not good for any magician, and certainly not the kind of “self-esteem deflating” experience you want for a child. Not recommended.

1 package means 2 dozen cases
Be forewarned that a quantity of 1 means 1 package containing 24 coin cases. Who could possibly need 24 of these things?
