A little small
These seems like very good boots, but they seem a little small on my son. He was immediately saying they’re tight.

Go nuts in the snow!
Absolutely perfect for deep snow play. The cinch strap is key. Paired with the right snowpant or snowsuit these are up for the fight against hardcore snow play. No snow is getting in these boots. 10/10 would recommend.

Best boots out there
My son love these shoes! Keep telling me how warm his feet are in these! It’s a quality product! The only thing to remember is because of an insulated liner to keep feet warm in cold weather it is little tight if you go for regular size. I read the reviews and ordered two size up and it fits well!!

Durable and keep feet warm but they always end up getting wet inside
Edit: We’ve bought 5 pairs of these over the years and want to really like them. They check all of the boxes on a spec sheet but our kids feet always get wet inside. We cinch the top and they wear snow pants with elastic bands that go over the boot and after an hour or two of playing in the snow their feet are wet. We always have to pull the inserts out and dry them off and the saddest thing is when someone forgets to pull out the insert and they have cold wet feet the next day.Ordered two pairs. One for my 8 year old daughter and the other for my 3 year old daughter. Sizes were spot on and the boots do what they are supposed to do. Waterproof and keep their toes warm in the cold winters. We live in Madison, Wisconsin and these have been our go to boots for years.

Great boots!
I am so happy to have found these boots for such a great price! They are good to -40 zero, waterproof and super easy on and off for my six year old. They’re super well made, we ordered a little big to hopefully get two seasons out of! The pairs we’ve had in the past still looked brand new after heavy use for two winters!

Great snowboots
I don’t know why the item description says “girls” in the shopping cart. These are definitely unisex boots. I bought them for my 10 yo son. He wears a size 6 shoe, and the size 6 boots fit great with room to grow. Kamik boots are great quality. I’ve been buying them for years. I have one pair that all 3 of my boys have worn, and they are still in great shape!

Great kid snow boot-all genders
Best kids boots! I bought the black for my son and he has worn them all winter (and it’s still snowing). He gets stinky feet so I just remove the liners, wash in the washer, air dry and he’s good to go.Only complaint he has is the bottom of his foot gets the little pilly balls and he likes to rip them out. I fear eventually he’ll rip the liner!10 year old boy size 4.

Sturdy boots. Do as promised. Go at least one size up!
Sturdy enough to withstand snow and low temperatures. Waterproof. Kept their feet dry and warm. The kids complained about it being too tight, although I had already gone a size up (as recommended in other reviews). I think it has something to do with the thick lining (see in the pictures) which is precisely what keeps their feet warm). As someone mentioned here, you can take it out, but with it would go all the insulation as well.

Great boot!
Really well made boots for the kiddos. Keeps the warm and dry during the snowiest of days. I particularly like that the kids can gets these on and off themselves. The strap around the boot is easy to grab and adjust for little hands. In my addition the tightening cord at the top adjusts towards the front of the boot instead of the back, making it easier for the wearer to adjust. My son has wide feet and found the regular size a little snug. He could likely have managed, but luckily Kamik comes in wide too. These are definitely our go to brand for snow boots!

great shoes
Those are great shoes for kids, especially for those who wanted to be outside and play in the snow all the time, I’m buying them every year. They are also very durable and water resistant, the best future is that you can remove and dry out the interior lining if any snows get from the top.

Kamik has gone narrow
We bought kamik boots for our son for years and now they seem to have changed to be super narrow. We tried different styles and order “wide” and they are all narrower than the older boots. We liked the durability and warmth of the old ones but switching brands now.

These are super warm boots. My son loves them.
There was nothing to dislike about these boots. They fit a tad larger than the other boots we have tried but an insole under the lining and a thick sock solved the problem. Happy feet, happy kid.

Reliable performer
I purchase these same boots every year in different sizes. They work wonderfully at keeping my kids’ feet warm and dry. They are good quality and would last a couple seasons if not for my kids growing like weeds.

Easy for the little ones to put on
Kamik seems to run a little big but don’t get a smaller size then planned. Wool socks offset that difference. So far good, easy for the kids to put on themselves.

Excellent quality – Our favorite boot!
Kamiks are our go-to boot of choice. 5 out of 6 of our kids have them, and when the littlest is big enough next year, she will have them too! They hold up extremely well and have been easy to hand down to our children.

Great quality
I have these for my boys, they are the only boots that can last several seasons and still be passed down to younger brothers. Many other brands fall apart with one season. My boys wear them most every day in the winter.

Disappointed
Update March 2020: we’ve had these boots for four months through a Colorado winter, and unfortunately they have not held up – my kids feet are wet after every snow adventure. The boots still look fine but they are somehow leaking. I have had to remove the liners to wash and dry them countless times (and it’s not easy to get them back in). We wear these boots and waterproof snow pants with gussets pulled down over the boots, so there is no water getting in that way. I’m disappointed. We still have potentially 2 months of snow left to limp through with leaking boots.[Original review] My three kids love their Kamik Waterbug5 boots so far. We’ve only have them a couple weeks but no problems yet, and they have nice warm dry feet playing in the snow!

My son measures at 2.5, but the 3 was snug so we returned it, and ordered the 4.
The 4 stays on but leaves room to grow. I ordered this boot for both my boys and they are absolutely in love with the comfort of the insert, and the ease of putting these on, and the warmth. They are withstanding the Mountain snow well in their first week.

SHOULD BE UNISEX
I liked the boot very much , except it says Girl boot, and really should be advertised as Unisex, as my 10 year old grandson is the one that they were purchased for, nothing that suggest it is a “GIRL” THING.

Easy for my kid to put on himself. Removable liners are a nice bonus. Good quality materials as always with Kamik. This is the 4th or 5th pair we’ve bought for our son through the years and are never disappointed.

Great boots that kept our sons feet toasty and warm while out playing in the snow in the Cascade mountains. They fit true to size, keep the wet and cold out and aren’t too heavy. Would buy again!

Great warm snow boots for the serious sledder.
Great quality at a good price. My son says they are comfortable and never complains about cold toes. They are waterproof all the way up and you can use the string on top to keep snow out. IF you do get the insides wet, the liner is removeable to dry. And with older boys, the ability to air it out is nice.

So far best boots for kids
This is the 4th type of winter boot I have tried for my kids, and so far these have been the best. They were recommended to me by a friend and she said this is the only kind she buys for her kids, so I thought I would give it a try. My kids seem to really like them. Comfortable and warm. Going forward this is the brand I intend to order again.

My feet stayed warm and dry!
I bought these for my son and they were too small. Nicely enough, they fit me! So I kept them. My feet are always cold in the winter but these boots kept them warm and I was able to play outside with my kids for about 2 hours and stay comfortably warm. This never happens so I’m giving these boots two enthusiastic thumbs up!

A must have. Make sure you size up.
Love these boots and my son was comfortable wearing them for hours. His feet were kept warm and dry. The boot does run small. He’s usually a size 13 but we decided to get a size 1 and it fit perfectly.

Fits to size.
This is the 4th year I have purchased Kamik boots for my son. They fit to size and keep his feet warm. This style it different from the previous style I purchased when he wore a 10 or smaller as he was able to open the other ones up easily to get his feet in. So far so good with this style now that he is 5 years old. I ordered an 11.

I ordered a size bigger for both of my kids considering the snow socks that would go inside, they are super amazing quality and it comes w a removable insole, easy to put in and out for my 4yr, for my 2 yr still working on that… but over all super satisfied

Nice boots…. for two left feet!
Based on favorable reviews, we ordered a pair of Kamik boots for my 2-yo son. They seemed durable, well-made, and a good fit when he tried them on. Then he stumbled a few times walking along the front path and we figured it was just him trying to get used to a new pair of boots. That week, we put the boots on him again to play in the snow, and when we had trouble trying to put it on his right foot, we thought at first “oh, silly, I was putting it on the wrong foot.” Then when I reached for the other boot, I noticed they were both for the left foot! Examining closer, I realized that even though the top straps are made correctly (right and left strapping and designs are fine), a look at the bottom revealed that they were manufactured for two left feet!! Check out the photo, you’ll see the shape is for the left foot, even the design pattern of the sole is the same direction. It’s too late to return these as they have been worn, but I wanted to share this with a review.

Socks will get wet
I was looking for a winter boot that my daughter could use in a daily basis at schoolsince we still have a lot of snow and her class goes on a trail hike in snow every week. Unfortunately, these boots will not keep your kids feet dry for more than a an hour or so. She has came home with the insert completely wet and her socked soaked through. I have to take the insert out every night and put it in the dryer to dry for the next morning. I’m concerned she will get Athletes foot. I would not recommend this boot for snow but for rain and walking in the cold is fine.

I keep buying them as the kid grows
I live in a place that gets a little to a decent amount of snow every year, and these boots get the job done. I bought a smaller pair for the kid a few years back, and we just keep buying the size up whenever they grow out of their current pair. We throw a water proofing spray on top of the boots to ensure they’re water proof, but over all they work well for going to school, going up and down the sled slope, and everything inbetween.

Runs small.
This review is for size/fit only. It’s still summer here, but I knew I needed a new pair of snow boots and didn’t want to wait until the last minute. Anyway, I am an adult, but can wear kids size 4 shoes. I ordered these in a kids 5, figuring I would probably want to wear heavy socks with them. Glad I ordered a size up because they seem to run a bit small. I agree with other reviewers that the fit is a little tight around the ankle area. But overall, they seem like they are comfortable and well made

Feet Nice and Dry!
I ordered both the size 6 and size 7 US Big Kids’ boots to see which was better. I usually wear a women’s 7 or 7 W, but in boys’ shoes, a size 5.5. The size 6 boots are a little bit snug with bulky socks on, but the size 7 was too big, and my foot slid around. Went with the size 6, and wore them for a hike in the forest recently. I think the inner pad in the smaller size will mold nicely to my feet after a few wearings.

Finally a boot that doesn’t come home with a wet inside
Happy with purchase. Seem to be holding up to an active 7 year old in a Wisconsin winter. It’s been in deep puddles with spring thaw, piles of snow and slush. The boots do not come home with wet liners thankfully, the outside surface may be wet, but doesn’t seem to affect the inside. Appreciate that feature for a kids boot. Also so far happy that the liner has not worn out as they always seem to do. My child is also pleased with non-wet feet after recess. Would consider again when the feet grow.

These snow bootys were a GREAT purchase!
I ordered these for my son not realizing they were girls snowboots..but since they were black it didn’t matter. They fit him perfectly. He wears a size 5.5 show and I ordered the 5.5’s in these and they were a great fit. They kept his feet warm and dry while on a recent trip to the mountains where they had just had a snow storm. These worked out great. I recommend them 100% to anyone. I will probably come back to these same ones here on Amazon when it’s time to move him up a size.

These are GIRLS boots
These boots are advertised as unisex but are sized for girls. I bought two pair for my grandsons and even sized up for layering socks. The pair I bought for my older grandson didn’t even fit his younger brother. I had to return both pair. I was very disappointed. However, I have to say they did seem well-constructed. So, if you’re buying for a girl these would be a good choice.

Durable, warm and waterproof.
These have always been a good boot for my growing children. Keeps them dry and warm. Removable/replaceable liner is a good bonus. The more agessive soles are great for playing outside on playground, in backyard or in icy parking lots.Easy for kids of all ages to slip into and out of compared to other good name brands that are slim fit (in calf and foot). Other good name brands are also heavier which makes kids tend to complain more as they get tired.Recommend getting size up, that way can wear thick socks or extend the use of the boot into the next season perhaps.

Very well made and warm!
We love Kamik! We ordered these for my 7 year old. I needed a boot with removable liners so they’re earsier to dry. He is a size 13 or 1 depending on the brand, 1 being a little big. I ordered a 1 hoping they would be a little big. They are not! I would say they run a little small. They fit but definitely won’t fit at all next year. He has a regular width foot. We don’t find them to be too narrow as other have stated. They are very warm and well made. Will order them again next year! They must have good arch support because it took a while for him to get used to the bump in the arch. He loves them now.

Super nice boot, warm felt liner
I bought a pair for my little girl last winter and they did a great job keeping her feet warm and dry in the snow. But she grew–I just ordered another pair 2 sizes larger. They fit fine IF I tighten the strap across the top somewhat snugly. It has nice thick felt insulation throughout.

Narrow, but great quality.
These boots are awesome in that they’re warm and dry. They’re going to work perfectly for our son for those purposes. The one star dock is simply because they’re very narrow in my opinion. I’d say my son has average width feet, and with a thin pair of socks they’re very tight on the sides. However the length is about perfect, as expected. We’ll keep them and hope they stretch out a little, or he doesn’t need to wear very heavy socks 😉 Overall the boot quality though is spot on.

Wow! Bought a pair of “snow boots” last year, they don’t hold a candle to these. No doubt my 9 year will have warm and DRY piggies!I did my research and in the end it was between these Kamik, and Keen,So happy I chose these. My son tried these on and said they are so comfortable and non restrictive.Really nice unexpected thick (non removable) lining on the inside 😊My 9 year old son typically wears a 13.5 Nike athletic shoe. Based on reviews I went up to a 1Nice job Kamik, SCORE mommy!
