Close but no cigar.
I ordered these and a pair from another brand. Kept the other pair and sent these back for 1 reason…baggy crotch. I am a small person so I looked odd in them. Otherwise they fit nice. Exactly as described actually. The color was nice as well. Had it not been for the 1 thing, I’d have 2 pairs of pants and review would be 5 stars.

Great value
A great value is only true if the quality of the product meets or exceeds expectations. And these pants exceed. I could have paid 2 or 3 times the price and not gotten pants any better or more comfortable. This is my 2nd pair (these are light blue the others are black). I will be buying more in future.

Cheap but comfortable
Affordable but a few things to keep in mind…The waist size is one size smaller than it says it is. If you need a size 32, get a 33 instead. And so on.Secondly… Please wash these pants SEPARATELY the first time. The warning label about dye bleeding off is no joke (photo for reference). If you wash this with other light colored clothing the first time it WILL STAIN your clothing for sure. Wash it SEPARATELY.Lastly the fabric feels a *little* stiff but nothing out of the ordinary for the price range. Feels a lot like a Walmart Wrangler brand jeans, which isn’t bad. Not the best, but definitely okay to wear.All in all a good pair of jeans for the price. I’m really happy to see that the LENGTH is accurate… I have a hard time finding a good pair of jeans that are my length at 28L.

VERY NICE FIT
Okay so im 23 and have always been chubby. I’ve slimmed down to 174 recently and I bought my first pair of jeans since I was 12…. So I was lowkey nervous. They arrived today and I tried them on and OMG! Very very nice fit. Slim no extra bagginess around the thighs and legs. Good quality for the price. Honestly solid 9.5/10. Would buy other colorways:)

Perfect jeans

good alternative to levis 512
I was looking for a cheaper alternative to levi 512 at $100/pair. I bought 4 pairs of these in different colors and I like them, however, you get what you pay for. I found that two of the four were very tight fitting and two of the four fit perfect. All were 35wx30L. I kept all 4 but in the future I think I would just return the tight ones and exchange for same size hoping to get a better fit. Quality is great. Material is great. They are just a bit inconsistent on the sizing but that is easily fixed with Prime try before you buy. Plus Levi 512 do not come in 35w, these do. Nice taper on the legs. Waist stretches just enough. Plenty of colors.

Dream pants for the price
So first of all this Sommer 2022 I was 230LBS and then I moved to Berlin Germany wish is home to me to be near the love of my life after 90 days I was 170LBS I did the Adam Brody diet before shooting the “Pianist” don’t ask me what it is, it’s strongly effective AF but unhealthy AF as well, all I did was dancing at techno clubs all night and mostly forgetting that I had just spent a week not eating but you don’t get hungry anyway on “these”and you loose that weight no you shred that weight infront of your naked eyes. I‘m 40 years old and when I can slip into a 31 waist size pants since my mid 30’s I feel like a runway model after reading the comments and having the option to try before buying I decided to be daring andWent for a 30 x 30 while laughing at myself and my new found confidence that I would NEVER fit in it when the moment of thruth came after they arrived in less then 24h(love that) I could have gotten a size lower waist wise, however these pants are fire I workout a lot and have a very fit Body as of lately however these miracles jeans enhanced my body to the max and gave me a great booty too I had bought it because I was visiting NYC and getting ready to go back to Berlin where I had a special techno event lined up, let me tell you something you know you look good in these def a must buy if you like Skinny jeans and if your thinnish be very comfortable to go one or two sizes lower then your usual…enjoy people 🙃.

they look like false advertising
I disliked the fact that the pants were deceptively shown as Levis Brand. Clearly, they did not have the fit or features of Levi Jeans.

Got It Mostly for the Color
I bought these jeans mostly because I am tired of the usual blue, gray, brown and black jeans. I was looking for something different and I think these qualify. I don’t see many green jeans around. I am still looking for unusual colors (maroon?), but they are hard to find. Meanwhile, these jeans fit me well and feel comfortable although the material seems thin compared to older style jeans I have worn. I wouldn’t want to wear these jeans outside on a very cold day, but they will be fine in summer. Also, the trousers are a bit snug on my legs, but that’s alright.

These jeans do look good. They are definitely skinny around my skinny legs, so that works well. But, they fit a little big around my waist and require a belt, which is very unusual for me.

Proper skinny fit
I’m 5′ 10 160lbs and got a 31×29. It has the correct elastic skinny fit. It has no labels on the back which is nice and clean. Washing it in warm didn’t shrink it a bit which was ok and surprising. The dye has a strong petroleum smell which washed out 90% after the first wash. For this price I can get two pairs instead of the a L-vi 511. Amazon slim and skinny pants/chinos I have ordered in the past have been sized and shaped poorly, looks like they finally got it right on this version.

Identical to Levi’s 511s
These are identical in fit to a pair of Levi’s 511 (after washing & drying the Levi’s 10 times to break them in). I recently purchased 5 pairs of these to replace my H&M Skinnys. The H&Ms were a touch too skinny for me, and my old go-to Levi 511 are just super inconsistent purchasing online (some come perfect fit, while others come 2 inches too short in legs, or 2 sizes too small in the waist; for $50 a pair, they really should come perfect every time).I found these (for only $22) are ALL identical in waist size and length to each other, which is such a relief due to how inconsistent Levi’s have always been.I did have to size-up in these jeans in the waist. I am always a 32 (Levi’s, H&M, Aero, American Eagle, Good Fellows), but these jeans I needed to buy a 33 in the waist (no way I could fit into a 32) and buying them in 33 is a perfect waist size for me (like the other jeans I stated are in 32).I have nothing poor to say about these jeans. They are stiffer than the other brand’s jeans (that’s because the Amazon Basics only use 1% spandex while most other jeans are using 3-5%) but I don’t find them uncomfortable at all.These are my new go-to jeans now, and for the price, you really can’t go wrong with at least giving these jeans a try. I’d size 1 up in the waist and you’ll be good to go 👍

Fit is nice- but the smell is absolutely horrendous.
Is nobody going to mention the disgusting smell of these jeans? It’s such a shame that they smell like tonsil tofu, or like they got soaked in raw sewage because they fit about as nicely as Levi’s 519’s in my opinion. A really good skinny fit, not too tight- and they sit nicely. But they really smell terrible and I’m trying desperately to figure out how the heck to rid that sulfurous stench emanating from them. I’ve seen either baking soda or White Vinegar that might help- but I’m not holding my breath (jk yes I am because these jeans smell gross. I wish I was exaggerating but seriously, this specific wash/color of jeans truly does smell bad.)TL;DRPro – These Jeans fit as close to Levi’s 519’s as I can find that’s affordable.Con – The dye used legitimately smells like an open sewer. Unless you have a plan in place from previous clothing-smell-removal, purchase at own risk.

Good fit but not thick denim quality
Compare to the same Amazon Essentials skinny-fit stretch jeans in blue, this pair of black jeans come in a lighter denim material. Blue (99% Cotton, 1% Elastane) whereas black (97% Cotton, 3% Elastane). Personally I prefer more cotton than less for it has a thicker feel on me. The black pair of jeans also fits me fine, just not the same feel, no complaint here. Perhaps Amazon Essentials will consider using the same (99% Cotton and 1% Elastane) for their future skinny-fit jeans in all colors. Thank you.

Comfortable and looks great, but size is inconsistent
After decades of wearing brand names, I’ve tried ‘stretch’ type of jeans. They are great for moving, bending down, etc. Amazon offers many variations in style, colors, and sizes. However, I did notice that their size are not consistent. If you order two pairs with different colors, their actual sizes can differ. They seem to shrink after a wash, but not as much as regular jeans. I’d recommend ordering different sizes and keeping what fit you.

Perfect fit length and waist, but just too tight.
I’m 6’0″ 140 lbs. I got the skinny fit hearing other reviews saying it was not as tight as they expected. For me they were TOO tight, particularly beneath the knees, where the fabric tended to scrunch up and not release when I straightened my leg, so there was a constant bunching up under the knees when my legs are straight, and behind the knees when my legs are bent.The fabric is soft enough but not buttery, though it’s pretty comfy as far as jeans go. It’s not super stretchy, just stretchy enough for skinny jeans.Overall I’m kind of ambivalent about these jeans. I appreciate that they have the exact size of my waist and length (29×32) but am not super satisfied with the fit.

Good jeans
I like the fit, style and feel. I am knocking off a point because after one wash in cold/delicate and low heat dry, the back pockets (which I never put anything in) are getting wavy and loose at the top. They don’t lay flat agains the seat anymore. It’s like the elastic has gone wonky. If it gets any worse I will review again and take off as many stars as appropriate.
