Buyer Beware – Sketchy May have been used before
I used one card out of the double pack for one week and it stopped working. Called T-Mobile tech expert. They said card was previously activated and for a reg cell plan not a data plan. The tech asked where it was is was purchased. Saidm Here on Amazon. Tech then terminated the card and plan. I had to go to an official T-Mobile store and get new sim cards and activated and added money for the basic 5gig data plan. All for free. Kind of sketchy deal here. Never did this before. At the Tmobile store, tech then checked the other three cards and said they were all blank. No Plan, data, info, or anything. So 12bucks gone down the drain. Tech said nothing on them to even activate. So be aware. The tech will investigate. Just sharing my exp. They said, make sure go to a store and tell them what you want to get the right type of sim card and phone number and email to activate it properly and avoid interruptions or sync issues.

You need to have these activated by the tmobile Prepaid Customer service reps…
Otherwise, some uninformed tmobile rep will probably tell you that the card has activation problems. For example, I was told by one rep that the card had already been activated, while another rep told me that I could not use these cards on a prepaid line. Bottom line is that only the TMobile Prepaid Customer Service reps seem to actually know what to do with this card. I am pleased that this card worked for me. I was porting an existing tracphone line to a Connect tmobile prepaid line.

I think the problem is T-mobile’s system
I have purchased a few of these. T-mobile always has a different issue with activating them. I’ve never had one work in a hotspot without calling. But most often, after they tell me they cant do them several times, they do end up making it work. So i am pretty sure it is a system thing on their end.As a side note, i have never done business with any company that has more ways to screw up a new order than T-mobile. they have – hands down, the worst and most frustrating system for setting up new customers. I suspect that most, if not all of these cards are fine, the only problem being T-mobile’s incredibly flawed system. Even on the accounts i already had working, I have had to get a new email address to re-access my already existing account, escalate through 3 levels of tech to simply add a payment to an existing acct, etc. It probably is not the fault of these Sims. So i’d advise being very persistent, calling a few times if you get the wrong answer the first time, (I’ve had the 3rd or 4th tech fix my unfixable issue a few times)…. or pay a little more and use a different carrier.

Works as prepaid sims for T mobile
I had postpaid T mobile connection (part of family plan) and I wanted to shift to the prepaid one (T mobile connect 15$/mo) as it was cheaper for me.I called up T mobile customer care, they asked for the(1) family plan account #, and(2) the account pin(3) a new sim card (this one from amazon)I just had the account # and told them the name and cell no. of the family plan head, so they called him up and got authorization to drop me from the family plan. They then transferred me to their prepaid division, they asked me for the Sim # (not the cell phone no.) that is written on the back of the sim cards purchased from amazon. Then they just transferred/ported my old no. from postpaid (family-plan) to my individual pre-paid plan. After, the phone got disconnected with customer care (as the old sim now became defunct). I replaced my old sim with my new sim (but with old cell #).Even though they said that it will take 24-48 hours for my new sim to be activated, it got activated in 5 minutes and I received welcome texts from T-mobile. Could not be happier! It was no hassle at all.Additionally, T-mobile gave me 1 month of free usage in prepaid. It has been almost 1 month that I saving around 10$/mo with this prepaid connection, I have faced no issues.

Works like a charm.
Called these two in and activated easily since the sim numbers are printed in decent size on the main card – sucks when you have to try to read it off the nano sim lol. Both registered in 3 minute phone call and Tmobile has a AWESOME 15 dollar plan for the extra connected devices i love.Perfect price, authentic product.

Replacing a lost SIM card
This is one of the best options for anyone who lost their T-Mobile SIM card and can’t personally get a replacement from a local store. I can confirm that this offer is of an authentic product. Thankfully, I was able to activate my old number and all the services are now working just fine, including the WiFi call.

throwing money away
Product should read “FOR T MOBIL ACTIVATION ONLY” Don’t appreciate the deception via lack of info. Didn’t work. There were not three. There were only two identical nano. No micro or other. Used on two unlocked Samsung phones and an unlocked iPhone 7 that I wanted to give my nieces with a metro PCS account. Would not accept the cards. dialing *228 for metro activation would not recognize. Tried settings, I watched youtube videos, did everything right and nothing. They have them (I believe encrypted for T-mobile only if they work at all) so, if you want to use these to switch from T-mobile to Metro-PCS, buy your cards directly from Metro PCS and make sure they do not have the T-mobile symbol. I know these are cheap but what does it maker if they don’t work. they did not work on unlocked Samsung or iPhone. good luck.

This is an scam. Do not buy this product.
Dear allThis product is a complete scam. I will try to get back my money from Amazon.I am a really good Amazon’s customer and I love this market placeIt was impossible to activate. It requieres specific Credit Cards brands/location/geographies and when you provide all the rediculous conditions it says that can not be activated. I went to T-Mobile office/stores and the attendants explained to me that is is a know scam that has been created by some Amazon partners. Please avoid getting this. Get one in a direct T-Mobile store in USA.You will get WIFI access in airports and many other USA places that will keep you connected while you get to a legal store of any mobile company.Regards.Jorge Gutiérrez

Easy to use. Worked.
I used them to replace sim cards for two phones. One phone takes nano SIM and another takes micro SIM. This SIM kit card has 3 cutout lines for 3 sizes; standard, micro and nano. Very useful.I called the T-mobile customer service number on the card and requested the transfer of SIM info to the new card. After the phone call I waited for about two hours for the transfer to finish. SIM replacement was completed without problem each time.

RECEIVED OLDER CARDS TWICE
Don’t order these unless you want old cards with an “Activate By” date only a few months away. There can be problems with sim cards that are old, even if the date hasn’t passed. Other sim cards I’ve purchased have had an activate by expiration date of 3 or more years out. I tried twice and got the same thing, I am returning them.

Works with unlocked iPhones for prepaid service
Worked as soon as I set up prepaid services over the internet.. I ordered this SIM card to be delivered to Dominican Republic because I lost my tmobile sim card.. I knew that I would need Internet to order a taxi once I reached NEw York.. So I entered the SIM card in my unlocked iPhone and set it up over the internet while sitting on the plane before takeoff..

It works as it should, insert the card, call T-mobile, they’ll text you a code while talking to you, tell them the code card activates.I tried online, but my wifi was acting up.In our case, my wife’s phone was stolen, so I bought her a new phone and this new card. The procedure might be different for other users.Excellent service, and product, from vendor and Amazon.

Worked for me despite other’s experience
Contrary to other reviews, this card works great. T-Mobile wanted to charge me $35 thru customer service and the local store wanted to charge $15. This saved me loads of money. I was able to get the card activated in the T-Mobile system with no issues whatsoever. I was even able to port my number over and changed from a prepaid to postpaid family plan.

Great! Got two cards as described
I got exactly 2 cards for my order. I activated one immediately and it works fine. Instead of paying $30 a T-Mobile I am getting two of these for quarter of the price. Overall I am Satisfy will get into cards even though I need to just one but the price is just perfect and they don’t expire till 2022. You just have to activate the card before 2022.

T-mobile did NOT want to activate these with new postpaid service!
I called T-mobile to order service after receiving the SIMs. After getting all my info, running credit, etc, they took the two SIM #’s and tried to submit the order to start service. They were unable to process the order, they tried twice. Any additional failure would have invalidated the whole order. The only way for us to complete it was to order their overpriced SIMs and have them ship them. So we did, and I initially planned to return these.I later got onto T-mobile’s chat support, who initially stated they cannot activate SIMs purchased from Amazon as they’re probably pre-paid sims. I said the listing states that they are compatible with post-paid, can you please check into exactly what the issue with these are, so I can report it accurately so other people don’t run into this same problem. After some time, the rep came back and said “good news, we can actually activate them!” and did. So now the sims actually work on my postpaid account, but it took a lot of elbow grease. And I still have to return their overpriced SIMs when they get here.I’m still giving this 5 stars as I am 100% satisfied in that it greatly reduced a BS fee that I shouldn’t have to pay so much for. But be prepared that it may come with some grief from T-mobile.

Works with caveats
The T-Mobile website said both of these SIM cards were invalid, but I was able to activate a new pre-paid hotspot account successfully on my iPad using the activation wizard in the Apple/iPad Settings app. I’m not sure if this is an issue with T-Mobile or these specific cards.

These DO WORK FINE
These work fine, its TMobile that can be frustrating. I did learn that using Google Chrome on the Mac was problematic because it blocked parts of TMobile’s website functionality and that led to them putting my first sim “on hold” (presumably for me but nobody could figure out how to release it back to me). EYE-ROLL. If you are on a Mac at least, use Safari to activate online, get a number, create an account etc. Worked in 5 minutes that way. Glad I ordered the two pack!

Misleading image
Only reason why I gave 4 stars it’s because the advertised image is of new cards, but what I received is old type of SIM cards. Be mindful that they expire within one year, I bought 4 cards and so far only used one, which I had no issues with and use it for my LTE line and not 5G, so can’t tell how speeds are with 5G.

Easy to activate and fixed a service issue
I bought two 2-packs of these T-Mobile sim cards. A single sim card from T-Mobile usually costs $25. Our sim cards were very old (5+ years old) and sometimes sim cards do go bad. We were having a service issue on one of our lines, and after trouble shooting everything (and having T-Mobile customer support reconfigure the line on their end) without any fix, getting a new sim card was the last attempt to fix the problem. I figured I would go ahead and just replace all of our sim cards. Once the cards came, I called T-Mobile support (I called after hours as I read online that the T-Mobile call center during normal business hours sometimes were not always willing to activate these) and they readily activated all 4 sim cards for me without any issues. They were activated instantly and easy to replace in our 4 phones. Service is working great now.

No problem activating or setting up
Some reviewers have complained that the SIM cards were already activated, but ours were fine. We tried activating with T-mobile online or using web chat, but needed to call in eventually. Still waiting on the activation to be completed and our phone number to be ported over. As of this review, the cheapest available plan is T-mobile Connect at $15/month, no contract.

They Both Worked. Glad I Got Two!
Both genuine T-Mobile sims worked flawlessly. I only needed one but I got the two pack anyway. I was upgrading from an older phone that took a micro sim and I needed a nano. When I called to have my number transferred they accidently transferred my wife’s phone instead. They could not get it to transfer back although they got my phone working. Since I had an extra sim I suggested we use that one in my wife’s phone and it worked immediately. I notice there is an Activate By date on the card and I think since my wife had the phone for awhile that’s why they couldn’t transfer it back to her old sim. So good to have an extra sim and a happy wife!

4G SIM worked for new BYOD T-Mobile line of service.
SIM cards sold by “Action Gear” and fulfilled by Amazon arrived faster than T-Mobile was offering on their site, and for significantly less. Cards I received are 4G and had an “activate by Sept 2021” date on them. While T-Mobile’s eligibility & payment websites have notorious issues with availability resulting in “system error” messages of various forms, after waiting until the site was working again, the SIM card worked great to start up a new BYOD plan with a 4G phone.

Of no value to me
I continue to be disgusted with everything regarding telephone companies. I thought I was buying a universal SIM card…just T-Mobile branded. Wrong. You can’t use this with another carrier’s service. I wonder why? I bought it for a GPS tracker. At $30 per month that’s not a good value.

2G watch out
I wanted this for a back up emergency phone. I didn’t want some big monthly fee so I bought an unlocked phone and this card, wanting to pay as I go.I had to get with T-Mobile tech support numerous times because the card installed but I couldn’t make calls or texts. After my fifth or sixth call tech guy finally figured out the problem. Supposedly if you have a regular phone with calls, texts, and internet, you can pay as you go. But if your’s is a 2G phone with call and text only, you have to sign up for a $40 per month plan.I was not happy. That’s telling me that if I want less, I have to pay more. So I’m adiosing this card.If you have a phone with internet, than I imagine this may work for you. T-Mobile was really nice when I spoke with them and they kept at it until we figured out the problem. But if you have a basic phone, this isn’t the card for you unless you want to pay $40 a month.

Real Deal
We recently switched to T-mobile and I bought 3 sims from t-Mobile for full price and my husband decided he wanted a line so we bought this one from Amazon for less than half the price. Was a little worried they wouldn’t work easily or T-mobile would give me a hard time since I didn’t buy it from them. I inserted the sim in my phone and called them up to activate it and it was very easy to my surprise!

Watch out for expiration date
The SIMs expire mid-2020 ; these usually get 3 years of life, so while they are fine, they are not a good value for money for my purpose – to be a backup SIM I keep at home to activate if a phone ever gets lost. 8 months of life for that is not a good value. If you are looking to activate immediately then its just fine.

Recieved promptly, activated with no issues
I got two SIM cards for the 1/3 the price of one at T-Mobile. I only needed one, but the two-pack was worth the price. I will keep the other as a backup, it expires in 2021 if un-activated. When going through the T-Mobile website to add a line to our postpaid plan and activate the SIM, I couldn’t proceed past the part of the checkout where it was forcing me to buy a SIM kit for $25. There was no option to use an existing SIM. So I just abandoned the cart, went through the support chat on the website, and they were able to activate it in a few minutes with no issues.

Just what I needed to transfer my phone number from MagicJack to Google Voice
This worked great! I was tired of MagicJack, and wanted to port my phone number to Google Voice. I had an old unlocked phone laying around, and read this was possible. I bought these SIM cards, paid around $20 to T-Mobile to port my number to them. Waited a few days, and then paid Google $20 to port my number from T-Mobile to them. So now my number that I’ve had for 15+ years is on Google Voice.I feel a little bad for just using T-Mobile for this transfer, but glad it all worked fine.

Worked perfectly for my legacy prepaid plan
I bought a new phone that required a nano sim. T-Mobile site is impossible to get around. Took me forever to find this item on their site, but once I found it, they were selling it for $10. This was a great buy, since I paid less than that for 2 of them. Worked perfectly on my legacy prepaid plan (very old prepaid plan that really is prepaid where you add money to your account). All I did was call it in, gave them the sim card # and I was good to go.
