Fantastic sound quality. Not much on par for the price, BUT
I have had 3 of these headphones over the past few years. 1 of then stopped working after several months of intense use. The other 2 worked fantastic until the silicon earpiece got lodged in my ear when I tried to take the headphones off. The first time I tried for about 30 minutes to get it out myself, after, I woke up a family member who was eventually able to get it out. The elastic silicon earpiece eventually stopped being capably elastic and separated in my ear canal. Once would be understandable, but then it happened with a second headset with new earpieces just tonight, had to wake up my girlfriend a few hours before work. Formally filed a complaint with Amazon this second time. Hopefully it will be addressed.

Pretty good so far!
Pretty good so far. I’m happy with this!I also like that the plug part is straight, and not L shaped. I have a device that could not use an L shaped plug, becuase the added cover made it too thick. I can only use headphones with a straight plug with that device. This works well!When I use this during phone calls, people say they can hear me well too. Or at least better than my speaker phone which they hate.

Helps keep out the noise
Got these for my husband. When he goes to bed he listens to the radio. These let him listen and not disturb me and they keep the noise out while he is listen to his program and going to sleep.

Inexpensive set of earphones
We are using for replacement phones on old MP3 players. These players are used during air travel and we manage to damage whatever earphones we are using at the time. This is a suitable set of inexpensive phones to use with the expectation of damage. The last set was stepped on and the previous pair were damaged by seatmate when they were getting up to use the restroom. This set works adequately until we destroy them.

Great for the cost
Honestly, when I bought these I wasn’t expecting much. I just needed a pair for a brief period of time while I worked on getting a genuine headset. But I’ve had these things for about a year now and I’m happy (and mostly surprised) to say that they still work.I’m no audio connoisseur or anything- but based on my knowledge of having had a great many wired earbuds over the span of my life, I can say that these are actually pretty decent. The sound quality is good and has remained such. The microphone quality is not the greatest but you’ll definitely be audible (and it has also continued to work). And most important of all in my opinion; the earbud jack, and the part of the cable that connects to the earbud/mic itself, has remained strong and intact.Which, if you’ve ever had earbuds, chances are you know the feeling of having to practically crack the DaVinci Code moving the wire every time you want to get audio in both ears.But with these, I’ve never had that problem in the entirety of owning them.So TDLR: if you’re looking for pretty cheap headphones, want them to last a long time, and don’t really care about audio quality either way; these are a great pair to purchase.But also a bit of a heads-up; the wire itself is a bit flimsy, so do be careful with it. Otherwise you should be good!EDIT: Just my luck, a few weeks after I wrote this review, the headphones finally gave out. Left side only works if I hold the wire at a very specific angle, and right side gave out completely. Overall though, they lasted a little over a year total (with my heavy use and terrible treatment of the things), so really still worth getting if you need a decent pair of earbuds for a low cost.

Sound Great, Mic Not Great
I really like there earbuds. They fit well and cancel noise well for being so cost effective. Unfortunately I have found that the pair I have don’t seem to have a functioning microphone which is challenging when I am plugged into my phone.

No Frills Work Well
These are an Amazon “Choice” item. So they are a good value price wise, and work well without a lot of extras. Which is good if you are using them in public places where they might be easily “misplaced” or under challenging circumstances where you don’t want risk your expensive first line Bose noise cancelling wireless buds. These do a simple job well… ’nuff said!

Dirt cheap/inexpensive but does the job – even comes with different size ‘ear cups’
I have a Bluetooth adapter that I needed a set of earbuds for – this does the job.Don’t expect a lot of ‘controls’ at this price point – there is a SINGLE button on the Left ear wire for picking up/hanging up a phone call is all.I do like that they included a few different sizes of ‘cups’ for different ears.While not completely a result of these buds, I played some test tracks and they sounded decent enough however I did have to use nearly maximum volume to really enjoy them.Frankly I really can’t see spending more for this sort of thing as these sound fine.

Perfect tone for podcasts, Youtube videos, and movies (probably not music)
This review is for “Amazon Basics In-Ear Wired Headphones Earbuds with Microphone, Red”I’ve been searching for a good set of simple earbuds appropriate for old movies, podcasts, Youtube videos, etc. — i.e. the spoken word (as opposed to music). I know most folks — younger folks in particular — are focused on strong bass because they use the earbuds primarily for music. But in my case, I am interested in hearing the spoken word clearly and sharply, and with many earbuds the strong bass means the person speaking sounds muffled and dull. It’s generally not possible to adjust the frequency, so earbuds with strong bass are hugely frustrating to me.I’ve tried many earbuds over the years, and I recall that early ones from Panasonic and Sony were very good for my needs. Same with many Skullcandy earbuds. But lately they all seem to be emphasizing stronger and stronger bass, so I needed to look elsewhere. These Amazon Basics earbuds are perfect for my needs, and they are a bright red color for easy identification.Pros:>Very flexible wires, not the stiff wires you get with many ultra-cheap earbuds (like what we are given on airplane flights).>Very comfortable in my ears.>Perfect frequency range for the spoken word.Cons:>No “cons” yet.Untested:>I have not tested the microphone, so I cannot comment on it.I have given these earbuds 4 stars because I am reserving the 5th star for when I can be assured that they will stand up to repeated use. I have had them for less than a day now, so I can’t comment yet on the durability. But because I am so pleased with the sound, I have just ordered three more pairs of the red ones. If they are still working well 6 months from now, I will up the rating from 4 to 5 stars.

Good high quality buds except
It would be really nice if they made the plug at a right angle because the plug is about 1 inch long and could be easily bent/damage since it sticks out so far. On the plus side, the rubber coating on the wires is really good as it is not affected by low temperatures.Overall an exceptionally deal

Allows me to hear parts of songs I’d not heard previously. Very efficient. But one of the soft bud covers popped off and got lost early but I’m still using them. So a good purchase for the price.

Edited – Stopped Working After 1 Use
I saw these had great reviews, so I was excited to use them with my laptop. I used them once for maybe 10 minutes if that, and now no sound will come out no matter what device I plug them into. Very disappointed.Edit: I requested a replacement and the new pair works perfectly. Very happy with how Amazon dealt with my problem and am now very happy with my purchase.

Product does work….
This product does work. My dog ended up chewing my old ones up down to the wire so I ordered these to try them. I’m surprised. The sound quality is pretty good for the price. I bought others before at Walmart for $3 & the sound quality was terrible but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend these if you need something quick, simple & affordable.

Sound quality
I purchased this item for the 2nd time, because I was extremely happy and satisfied with my first purchase. I thought that the only difference would be the color, as the red ones were no longer available. Sadly, the sound quality of this second purchase is decidedly inferior; music sounds tinnish, with almost no base.

Good if you’re in a pinch but not the best option for long term use
These were bought to replace some bluetooth earbuds my little brother broke. He broke the first pair of these after a month or two, and the replacements only lasted a couple weeks. He seemed to enjoy them, and he’s quite picky, so that’s saying something. These are good for the price point but don’t expect them to last for a good while.

Great For Kids Schoolwork
I didn’t want to invest a bunch of money on a pair of earbuds to send to my sons school for his use when on the computer. Although they seem a little flimsy, I did like how they have different size pads that you could put on the ends depending on what size ear you have. He says they have worked out great, are comfortable, and the sound quality is there. So after hesitation when they arrived, we have been pleasantly surprised!

Good Sound Quality for the price
Good sound quality, especially for the price. I lay in bed with these on so oddly, if reversed (Left speaker in Right ear etc) they fit better and don’t protrude from my ears as much. Making laying on a pillow more comfortable.

Great headphones
You might not think so because of the price but these things are amazing. I had them for a long time and usually when you buy cheap headphones they go out in a week but these lasted a long time. I even dropped them outside and they were in the rain all night; I found them and still worked. They have great sound and they stay intact pretty well

I personally prefer taking wired headphones for travel, so not to fuss with recharging, dropping/misplacing, and also, the ease in dealing with exposure to contaminants. For inexpensive headphones, these are amazing. The volume control is subtle but nice.

Great Sound
These are some great cheap earbuds. My Apple earbuds broke so I purchased these to be kind of a placeholder until I could get more, but they have great audio quality and are comfortable in the ears. I have used these for months and they are still working great.

I recently purchased a pair of Amazon Basics In Ear Wired Headphones with Microphone. I was very pleased with the product. The sound quality was great and the headphones were very comfortable to wear. The sound is comparable to my more expensive Sony and Bose earphones. The microphone was also very convenient to use and the sound quality was crystal clear. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the product. I would definitely recommend these headphones to anyone looking for a good quality pair of wired headphones.

Good for phone conversations or listening to music while still or easy walking.
These headphones work well for the price. I enjoy the sound quality for music and conversations. It’s clear without distortion and people on the other end of the phone have no issues with hearing me as well. They work well for sitting still or walking around.Their downfall is they let wind noise distort the sound if it’s blowing, or I am riding my bike with them. They don’t work well for that at all. The wind volume increases and sound volume decreases.The silicone earbuds covers fit fair, they are oblong the way they’re mounted and don’t really seal as well as if they were rounded. For the price and for basic listening and calling they do well enough.

Inexpensive and works.
I just like having plain wired headphones to use when I don’t have to worry about charging a Bluetooth headset. Tangling of the headphones is always an issue, but I bought this one specifically to avoid that. I’ve had it for about three months and so far it has been tangled free, despite me sticking it in my pocket, throwing it in my backpack or putting it in a case it remains tangle free.

They work!
I thought cheap earbuds would suck and soon break. I’ve had these for many months and they still work fine and I haven’t had what has ALWAYS happened with ALL the earbuds I’ve ever bought- one of the buds would quit working. ARGH! Not with these. Yay, me!🥳 Only wish theu were louder. I’m 61 years old and when I was a younger girl, headphones ROCKED! They’d blow your head right off! Some songs are fine listening to them at the new lower volume. But there are those great songs that need to be turned up so loud that your eardrums cry out. Just ignore them! They’ll live. Just don’t stand in front of a speaker stack too often at certain concerts. That’ll leave a mark.

I never thought that this cheap earphones would be so good.Cheaper than others well known brand, but the quality of it is superior, specially the microphone which has an excellent sensitivity, so it works very well for my every day conference calls.I definitely recommend this one

Good for a disposable set of ear-buds
These are okay if you are looking for an inexpensive pair of earbuds. The sound quality is good, and they are cheap. I bought these after using going through several pairs of entry level Panasonic earbuds over several yearsTo me, the wire in cord is noticeably thinner than the Panasonic earbuds. One result is that the cord gets tangled in tight knots more frequently than other earbuds that I’ve used.My biggest issue is the useful life. Other sets of earbuds generally last me around 4-6 months. I use them a lot listening to audiobooks while I’m walking or doing mindless chores. This pair failed after about 7 weeks of daily use. The failure is what I generally see from earbuds going out, the sound starts getting intermittant or cutting out completely, generally just in one ear.Maybe I’m just hard on wired earbuds. The cord often gets caught on things while I’m walking around, so the cord gets tugged out of the jack. When I’m not using them, I just stick them in my pocket in a ball. So I’m not taking great care of these things, but I tend to take them with me everywhere.So if you aren’t worried about how long they will last, the sound quality is fine, and they fit well. This one pair that I purchased did not last long enough for me to want to try them again. I’m willing to pay a few dollars more to get some that will last longer.

Great Quality Headphones at a Good Price
I wanted to get headphones at a good price for occasional use such as taking phone calls or light music listening, and so when I found Amazon’s Basics In-Ear Headphones, I thought they were close to what I wanted.However, I just want to say, Amazon’s Basic’s In-Ear Headphones are now my main headphones and I use them all the time but especially for enjoying entertainment such as music.So I like that Amazon’s In-Ear Headphones have been very responsive to equalizer settings , producing a range and kind of sound that can make most of what I listen to very enjoyable.One dislike I have is that for the model I received there is a bulit-in microphone but there is no mechanism to mute the microphone.Another dislike is that out-of-the-box, these headphones produce a level of bass that could be deeper, but if equalizer settings are available, these headphones can actually produce a reasonable amount of deep bass.One other small dislike was that while cleaning the earbuds, the fabric covering the opening to the inner part of the earbuds came off easily, but it is manageable.So, in short, I’m very satisified with Amazon’s Basics In-Ear Headphones.

Pretty good for the money but not the best
I went back and forth between 3 and 4 stars. These earphones are not expensive and basic enough- good for use like watching videos and movies but seriously pale in comparison to other better quality ear phones (like the JBL’s which are so much more money.) So listening to music the sound is a bit flat. So if you just want some regular basic wired ear phones they are good and they also seem to be pretty sturdy. The microphone is fine for answering calls etc. Nobody complains they cant hear you on the phone when they call. I’ll keep them for now.

Perfectly Fine Earbuds
It’s exactly what you would expect, nothing more and nothing less. The only thing that was a little bit weird was that the control/mic piece was on the wire for the left earbud. I don’t know what the standard is for that, but I’m used to it being on the wire for the right earbud. Regardless of that, they work perfectly fine for whatever you may need them for.
