These were my son’s favorite jeans. Comfortable, able to move around. Wish they were available in 16 regular (not husky). Used them through sizes 8-14.

Good fit, surprisingly-good quality.
OK, a bit of preface: I know they’re kids jeans and I’m an adult, but yeah, they’re for me and I wear them daily. I’m incredibly short due to coming from already-short parents and I’ve got a spinal birth defect. I wear adolescent-sized clothing which sometimes becomes difficult when you want t-shirts that DON’T have dinosaurs, monster trucks, or super heroes on them and shoes that DON’T have wheels or lights in them. Anyway, I’m a T-Shirt and Jeans Guy. I’ve generally stuck to Levi branded stuff for the last few years because it’s been decently comfortable and durable. I decided to give this pair of Amazon Essentials jeans a shot a few months back because it was significantly cheaper and I though “why not”? I’m actually pretty impressed. They’re far more comfortable than the Levi 550 I was buying before. They’re softer, more pliable, and a bit stretchy. I would find my Levi jeans to get a bit “crunchy” sometimes, but these are as smooth as a cotton shirt. The pockets are easy to get into which is something that’s really important for me. They’re adequately deep without being so deep you have to go fishing for stuff. I’ve been wearing them nearly every day since I bought them 6 months ago (I got a few pairs) and they’re holding up well (but not as well as Levi). I’ve got some snags in them that want to unravel, but it’s nothing that bothers me. If I get a year or more out of a pair I’ll be happy. Price-to-performance is good enough to warrant another purchase from me.

Finally!! Jeans that fit my grandson.
My DIL and I have been trying to find husky jeans for my almost 6 yr old grandson. Very hard to find. Children’s Place 6H were too small and 8H were too big. These fit him perfectly except for the length. Easy fix with my sewing machine. He loves the way they fit. Hoping they will go on sale soon so I can get more. Yes they are reasonably priced already but kids outgrow them so fast.

Sizing not accurate
For reference my son is 6 years old, very stocky, thick thighs, has a little butt on him. He’s 80lbs and about 4’8”. He’s built like a linebacker basically. I say this because there are no reviews that I could find that describes this body type in reference to the jeans. I literally can’t find one pair of jeans to fit him and these were no exception. Too snug in the waist, hips and thighs. The length was a little long but it could have been manageable if the fit had been right. He couldn’t move in them and cried because he really liked the way they looked. He wants to be a cowboy for Halloween so we were attempting to find something that could work. Unfortunately, these aren’t it and we are having to return them.The jeans said they were a straight fit but as soon as I got them out of the clear plastic bag they were mailed in, I knew they wouldn’t fit. They looked like skinny jeans. So if your child has any kind of thickness…they probably won’t work.Quality seemed fine. There were no holes, rips, tears or anything like that. Stretchy material. I just can’t recommend based on our experience. We did reference the size chart before ordering. I didn’t get out the measuring tape to measure the jeans in hand but I definitely thing it is off a bit in measurements.I hope this helps someone with a husky child.

Good affordable jeans…especially for when you know they’ll grow out of them in 3 months. 😬
