Oh, the Amazon Essentials Men’s Slim-Fit Short-Sleeve Crewneck T-Shirts have turned my husband into a walking billboard for comfort and style! We practically have to pry these shirts off his back to get them in the wash because he loves them so much.I’m starting to think he might be developing a bit of a “T-shirt addiction.” He walks around the house wearing them, struts his stuff when he’s out and about, and even sleeps in them. If he could, he’d probably wear them to formal events and weddings too!But jokes aside, these shirts are the real deal. The slim fit is just right, making him look like a movie star without the Hollywood price tag. And the best part? They’re so affordable that we can buy them in every color imaginable, and he’s started a T-shirt rainbow in his wardrobe.In all seriousness, though, these Amazon Essentials T-shirts have become his go-to for everyday wear, and I can’t blame him. Pleasantly surprised
I usually wear black Eddie Bauer shirts. So I thought I would try these once. Once. However, pleasantly surprised with the fit and comfort. Also seems to hold up in the wash. I do recommend. I gave them 4 stars and not 5 because I haven’t had them a long time. I do believe that they probably will handle time and deserve 5 stars and I only review things that I feel strongly about (great quality, great price, great performance, great value, etc. or a total piece of crap=zero stars).

Great overall.
I love buying men’s stuff! These are great to wear over a tank , with shorts or whatever around the house, etc. I usually wear women’s medium but I purposely got men’s larger size in three colors. Great value, too. Note: the red is more like burgundy, if you care…

Not very comfortable and fit is off
I’ve been through numerous brands when it comes to plain white tees. These don’t fit like you think a slim fit tee should. It is somewhat boxy and the material is thick, imo a bit too thick. Seems very durable but could be thinner and softer. They don’t lay nice on the body. I tried wearing these under a half zip and it just felt strange and didn’t lay well. I’m 6’0 190lbs with a fit build and I bought XL. They shrunk a bit and the fit is even more off now…too short and still boxy on the body…and stiffer after washing properly, even w fabric softener.

For the price, better than expected!
Pleasantly surprised at the quality and fit of these t-shirts for the price. No nasty scratchy tag in neck is a nice bonus. I’ve already ordered more!

Good Value
I bought a “premium” quality T-shirt that pilled and faded within a couple of weeks. These Amazon tshirts although not as soft have lasted longer. I work in food service and need to wear blank plain shirts. They are not super slim fitting but I will def be buying more.

Shrinkage
Good fit tshirt when new, good quality materials but shrink down to a tight fit muscle shirt. Second washed and dried shrink to next size down. Recommend go one size bigger or line dry only.

The Essential Facts
All I wear is tee shirts. Okay, to be clear, I usually wear pants – shorts to be precise. I’m not a button down kind of guy. I wear tees from morning to night and sometimes all night, so I wear them out pretty fast. So I’m always here buying more, usually six at a time. I can’t see spending fifty bucks for one brand name shirt when I can get Amazon Essentials that are made in the same factories for a fraction of the price. But the pre-selected sixpacks almost always end up with one or even two colors I don’t want.THE ESSENTIAL SECRETDid you know that there are more than just one selection of their store brand shirts? They don’t make the subtle differences exactly clear so I had to filter by several factors to get a side by side comparison and even then sometimes a shirt of a different color or size can be made in an entirely different factory or even country for that matter. I narrowed it down to three listings, all called Essentials and all so similar it takes some effort to see how they are different. Pocket or no pocket? Moisture wicking or not? Slim fit or regular? Things like that. Most selections came in packs of two. And for a reason I will never understand, if I picked one color they were unbelievably inexpensive but another shade could be as much as double the price.THE REALITYSo they all fit me about the same, yes the slim fit was slightly snugger than the regular but not by much. But here’s the thing that they don’t mention anywhere yet it is extremely important- some of the shirts were as much as three inches shorter than some others, or was it the other way around? Good product
I like all the Amazon Basic t-shirts, both short and long sleeve as well as their shorts and long sweatpants. Good quality, doesn’t shrink much and holds up well. The only improvement would be a tad longer tail on shirts. I’m 6’2″ and would like them about 2 inches longer and they don’t offer a “tall” version. Colors are steadfast and they come out of the dryer without many wrinkles. Amazon Basic products of all types have been very satisfactory for me.
