Crazy Fast
I love how fast the truck is! You better have a lot of room to run it on 100% it’s crazy fast very durable and has to be the most fun I had in years! However you must set this truck up you need to check Shock droop and adjust! the steering needs to be adjusted along with throttle and brake I recommend front and rear bumpers And a fan to cool the motor down especially if you’re running in warm temperatures overall the truck is outstanding can’t say another good things about it!

ARRMA Tough
This truck is tough. I took it out for it’s first run after a good charge on the batteries. I got a couple of good passes down beside the house and was getting ready to walk down to the park. Some nut job ran the stop sign in front of the house and ran over the RC . I thought the car was going to be completely destroyed. All that was broke was the front shock bolts and the shock tower was bent. I bent the shock tower back into place with some persuasion from a blowtorch and put 2 new machine screws on it and this thing runs fine. Super happy with the speed and durability. Wish I’d known about vent the tires before going through water. Already had to replace the front tires because of this.

I love this rc…. Fast and tough….just like they say…🙂
The media could not be loaded.
I used this product to get my son off of video games and into something he can put his hands on. And changing motors, gears and understanding how it all works, is a great tool for sharpening a young mind… My son wants to be an engineer after playing with my Kraton…..🙂✌️ . I couldn’t hope for a better outcome. It’s a great bonding hobby.. thanks ARRMA.

Got my vote for best 1/8 scale basher!
for the price, it should have included some other exb upgrades. ive probrably spent $400+ in upgrades which included aluminum exb fr and rear braces, exb front strut support bracket, front bumper, rear stainless skid plate, wheelie bar, and the most costly but well worth, the exterior roll cage, and no that dont include batteries or a charger, but after all that, this thing is a beast and can handle some abuse. everything works as it should, and the quality of build is noticed. only downfall is parts availabilty at the moment…been about a year now, had a esc replaced under warranty, and yea ive stuck more money in aluminum center diff supports and other misc, center dif replaced with all metal, another servo, but still happy with it.

Great except 1 big flaw
Wicked fast and durable, but mine had one issue. The remote and reciever is faulty. Loses connection randomly. From a lil research seems to be an issue for a lot of people. Sent an email to arrma support, will update if any changes. I would definitely recommend this truck other then that. And make sure you callibrate it before using

Love this truck! Lots of fun!
I’m not extremely rough with my RC’s but my truck has taken some nasty tumbles and upside down landings at high speed and so far nothing has broken. Front driveshaft popped out today after about 15 cartwheels at top speed but that’s it. I’m relatively new at RC’s so I’m no expert but I am absolutely happy with this truck.

Truck is a beast
Stable and stupid fast. Check diff fluids out of box as they tend to be a little low. This truck flys. Don’t really understand why you get the cheap remote with this truck. Bought the vorteks and it came with a way nice remote. Overall great purchase

very unhappy with product
I have owned Traxxas for years with almost no issues I decided to try The Arrma Kraton 6S purchased the car and 4 batteries plus smart charger. The car when it runs flies Iv owned it since December and batteries only have 14 cycles on the so far 3 bad batteries 2 ESC’s and now the steering servo died.. I don’t beat on it or drive in water. I just sent the car back today for warranty cost me $61.00 to ship ground.. they never offered to cover shipping you can only contact Horizon by email which sucks beyond words.. for over $1,200.00 I would expect a better product.

AMAZING!
The car is super fast with a 6s lipo in it and i have yet to put the fast gearing into but it still goes around 50mphthe only problem i have with it is that out of the box make sure you go over the screws and tires and make sure they’re all tightened down my tires have rolled off a couple of times so i highly recommend to tighten them down

Way to go arrma ❤
Love this truck. The durability is top notch. The thickness of the shock towers are bigger than v4 and if you are a beginner, leave the original pinion on it because with the speed one on it, it would be waayyy to fast for ya

Great 1/8th scale RTR monster truck!
This is truly hobby grade. Comes with a new spektrum branded transmitter. The brushless motor has tons of power on stock gearing. It includes an optional high speed gear for running on pavement. Make sure you also purchase 2 x 3s lipos for the total 6s power. Its crazy!

Fun truck but the rear wing assembly is junk
I ‘ve used this twice and I’m not rough, twice the rear wing broke – shouldn’t have this issue on an expensive truck like this.

Excellent, durable and powerful RC vehicle. Not for the inexperienced or children.
This is a proper hobby grade monster truck. I have been flying RC aircraft and driving RC cars/trucks/boats for decades. Let me tell you, it is a quality built item. Competes and is superior to Traxxas depending on who you ask. It is very powerful, brushless powered off two 3s 5000+ lipo batteries with EC5 connectors. It is also very fast and big and heavy, therefore I only recommend for experienced RC drivers. You crash this into someone at full speed 50-60mph and guaranteed they will need to go to the hospital ER. Be careful, this is not a simple kids toy.It is fully waterproof, has very good suspension and large tires, it will go over any terrain. Make sure to have plenty of space and first tune the suspension and steering on flat concrete road.Things I like over my Traxxas products. Price, aluminum parts everywhere, 6s capable, more stable at high speeds compared to Traxxas trucks, shocks have rubber shielding for dust protection, rubber protected bearings installed as well, and the screws do not rust as easy. Most importantly, learn about LIPO battery safety. LIPO batteries if stored or charged incorrectly are an extreme fire hazard that HAVE burned peoples homes and buildings down in the past. Learn how to correctly handle these batteries. In a dedicated fireproof container, and always supervise the batteries while charging. Never leave unattended! Have fun! 🙂

Fast and durable
This car is fast and durable! We did some crazy jumps with lots of hard crashes and nothing broke. Nothing at all. I’m impressed and very happy with this car. I also have an E-revo 2.0 and the Kraton was more durable out of the box in my opinión. Both are Similar as far as speed and handling, but I had to put a lot of money into the erevo for the Same durability as the Kraton had out of the box. The body clips are tight, really tight and a pain in the …. I like the body system and durability of the E-revo body much better, hands down, but the rest of the Kraton is better out of the box. Especially the battery tray. You have many more battery options because the battery tray is larger and can accommodate more types and sizes of HARD CASE batteries. Running the soft shell/case batteries like Traxxas uses (and it’s the only type that fit in E-revos) in the sand leaves pits in the shell of the soft batteries. Where I live and drive in desert terrain, soft shell/case batteries don’t make me feel comfortable after they get pitted so quickly and easily. I’m worried about damaging them to the point of fire/explosion. The Kraton being able to use hard case batteries to me is much better in desert terrains. I still like other things about my E-revo, but I have to say if I was only buying one of the two as a basher, I would buy the Kraton. Time will tell if I still feel that way in the future, because it’s my first Arrma and I don’t have any experience with their customer service or parts availability/prices. But out of the box with the first drive, I love the Kraton 6S V5. I will update if I find any problems. I was running with dual Zeee 7200mah 3S Lipo batts that was also purchased from Amazon. Pleased with the combination for speed and battery run time for the price.

Get spare parts and calibrate your radio, then bash!
If you are reading reviews, you are probably looking to either compare this truck to another truck you are trying to decide between. This is not a review for you. If you have decided on the Kraton, here’s what you should know:This thing is FAST! you can take a turn at full speed, and it is AGILE and will make the turn instead of tipping over and rolling. It comes with the optional high-speed pinion, but honestly, why use that if you can’t keep it on while off roading? The difference in speed is about 10mph, and with the off-road pinion, you still go about 50mph and can bash, jump, crawl, do everything else too.Radio –> calibrate it! Out of the box, my left-turn limit on the servo was not the full left-turn travel of my wheels, and the right-turn was MORE than the travel, which was straining the servo. Calibration is easy, so do it. The throttle and brake were set to full (that’s standard), but this thing has so much power that I set the reverse travel to a lot less so that when I back up the truck doesn’t reverse 10 feet in half a second.Spare parts! If you are not jumping very high (not high = 5 feet or so imo), so long as you are landing on all four wheels, you will probably be able to jump for a year before parts break. But you didn’t get this truck to hold back. The truck has the high-end parts that are most expensive to replace made of metal. My suggestion is to NOT replace the parts made of plastic – you want something to absorb the shock of a bad landing or very hard landing by flexing, and honestly by breaking before the expensive parts break. If you replace it all with metal, then you lose the flex and the expensive things will break more than they would otherwise. The parts that will break the most from bashing – shock arms (rear more than front in my experience). I bought several sets, and mud guards for the rears (mud guards keep rocks out of the moving/spinning parts in the rear).Last, buy the RPM or Arrma extre bash skid plates and front bumper. This thing doesn’t have a front bumper, which is a huge risk because if you go full speed into something or land on the nose accidentally, the bumper flexes and takes the hit. Without it, your servo, steering arms, and the momentum of the entire car has nowhere to go but the solid front of the car – you’ll break really expensive things if you crash without a front bumper.Have fun!

Total monster
This thing is an absolute beast. I really dont have much to criticize about it.The pros:Plenty of power on 6s. I haven’t even bothered to put in the speed pinion yet.The bash capabilities out of the box are awesome. Ive run several packs doing moderate jumps and bashing and ir handles well.Performs well in wet and muddy conditions. The mud flaps on the front keep them inside relatively clean and dry.Its a wheelie monster. I love that it can easily pop and hold a wheelie even at high speeds. I could go on and on.The cons:It really should have come with a beefy fan. I wouldnt trust running the speed pinion for very long, even on pavement on a cool day. The motor runs hot on 6s with moderate driving even on pavement. The stock steering and servo suck. It doesnt steer very well at a stand still. The servo saver is too loose. The steering servo is slow. There is too much understeer so it takes a huge tuening radius to turn around, so it doesnt do too well at evasive maneuvering. If i wasnt a cautious person I would have smashed the arms like many others have done. I dont think it needs aluminum arms, it just need quicker steering. The battery tray could be a little better designed. You cant stack 2 hard case 3s lipos as the height of the case is not enough. The height adjustment needs to have more lock in locations instead of 1. I just remove it, put the batteries in, then use the horizontal strap to hold it down. All in all i give 5 stars, just be ready to do a few mods if you arent that great of a driver.

Ready to upgrade right out of the box
I’ve been running my Kraton 6S for about two weeks now, and it’s finally been upgraded/repaired out of the box to the point where I finally like it. I own 10+ RCs so I would say my experience is intermediate, a 50mph basher feels right at home for me. The list of pros about this truck is very long, as it should be for a $560 basher. However, there are several cons as well which shouldn’t exist at this price point, let alone any hobby grade RC, which I’ll get to.Pros:* 6S power. Hits 50+mph right out of the box. It will wheelie and flip onto its lid if you mash the throttle.* All terrain basher. 1/8 size with chonker tires and 3+ inches of ground clearance means you can drive this anywhere.* Durable. I’ve crashed head first a couple times with no broken parts so far.* Very stable. Long, wide, and relatively low center of gravity make this really easy to drive and controllable at any speed.* Sway bars included. This prevents the truck from rolling over during hard turns, unless you intentionally want to flip it.* Programmable ESC. You can set the punch and brake settings.* Lots of features on the radio, such as throttle limit (50/75/100), servo endpoints, and steering rate.* Big battery tray with velco straps. This makes it easy to use a wide range of battery sizes.* Relatively easy to work on and modular design. Although I haven’t taken the truck apart yet to work on it, it doesn’t look too difficult.Cons:* Screws are set with red threadlocker from the factory. This makes it a HUGE pain to take apart and do basic maintenance/repair. Why would Arrma do this? Why not just use blue threadlocker?* Servo saver is way too flexible, nonadjustable, and red threadlocked together. This causes the steering to be extremely sloppy out of the box, leading to a huge turning radius on hard cornering or when driving offroad, since every little bump will cause the servo saver to flex and the wheels to straighten out again. This is a V4 and V5 issue, the previous Kratons did not have this design.* Servo not centered and endpoints not set from the factory. This is just laziness, and the not set endpoints have been leading to tons of failed servos only a few runs in.* Spektrum servo is crap. Mine died after two runs, although I suspect it could have been because I didn’t set the endpoints first.* Spektrum Firma motor runs HOT. On a 40 degree day after 30 minutes of running on 6S, my motor was at 170 degrees, which is the absolute limit the motor should be running at. If it was a 70 degree day, the motor would’ve been well into the 200+ degree range and I’d have a fried motor.Recommended out of the box upgrades/repairs:* Set the servo endpoints.* Add shims to the servo saver spring to tighten the steering.* Get a heatsink and fan for the motor.* Add a wheelie bar.Don’t get me wrong, I really like the Kraton so far. At 50mph it’s really controllable and stable, which is saying a lot. Most of my trucks are 1/10th scale and once they get past 40mph they become wild and uncontrollable, and they get bumped around by rough terrain due to their smaller scale. The Kraton is easy to drive at any speed on any terrain (once you fix the sloppy steering), tough, and easy to work on.

ARRMA Kraton 6S honest review. BUY ONE!
Where do I begin? This thing is good. Like really, REALLY good. I just got into the RC car hobby after a friend of mine from high school mentioned RC cars to me and then took me to try some of them (he himself has been 20+ years into the RC thing). The same evening I’m online looking at my new hobby: RC cars. I quickly began my journey by purchasing a few cheaper RC car options on Amazon, but ended up feeling underwhelmed; fast forward to me getting the ARRMA Big Rock two days days later and liking every minute of running that thing, it was great. Now another 2 weeks have gone by and this monster arrives at my doorstep. Whoa. This is on another level: BIG, heavy, aggressive, loud (open middle diff), intimidating, all of the above. This thing rips and everyone around wants to know what it is and where they can purchase one… The pictures show the Kraton 6S compared to the Big Rock and some accessories being installed (I highly recommend the following —> AR320366 Wheelie Bar Set ; ARRMA Super Basher Front Bumper EXB ARA320573 ; ARRMA Motor Heatsink 4074, ARA390299 ; Front Bumper and Skid Plate ARRMA Kraton 6S RPM81812 (PUTTING THIS ON THE BACK!). Last 2 pictures are with different tires since I tend to run almost exclusively on asphalt. One last thing, make sure to set the servo endpoints prior to running, some have mentioned issues with their servo burning out without doing this prior to running it and I did immediately out of the box and can report the servo has survived 20+ 4S and 6S runs. Cheers and enjoy.

I can’t recommend an Arrma product.
I can’t recommend an Arrma product. If you like spending more time wrenching on Rc’s than you do actually driving then this is the truck for you! I’ll start with the good and end with the bad. Also I’m not hard on any Rc. I’m definitely no Talbot. I’ve driven Slashes (2wd 3s & 4wd 2s), E-Revo 1.0 (6s), Typhon V3 (on 4&6s), and a TMaxx 3.3. The Kraton is fast and certainly has a presence…that’s it… Oh and tires make a nice rumbling roar over the yard. After 5 6s 6000mah packs the servo died. Which to get it replaced under warranty you’ll have to pay for shipping both ways (about $30) Out the box the steering is awful for multiple reasons. To start with the servo is under powered for truck. It’s not enough for the weight of the truck and the size of the tires. The bell crank assembly has 4 brass bushings…$600 truck…brass bushings. So you’ll probably want to swap those out for sealed bearings(about $10) The new servo saver design is non adjustable and it’s extremely loose. The servo saver ends up absorbing most of your steering at any kind of speed if you’re on anything other than a very low traction surface. At low speed, off throttle it’ll turn. Give it any throttle and the forward momentum with the grip of the tires just opens up the servo saver and you lose steering. So you can go a couple ways of “correcting” it. You can spend $20 and get the Hot Racing adjustable servo saver and hopefully with the power of God and anime on your side you can bust through all the thread locker on the stock servo saver. That’s if you can compress it enough in a vice to get access to the top nut. You can also go a different route which ends up costing about the same. You’ll need to put snap rings (2-3) on the servo saver to compress the spring to tighten it up. So you’ll need snap rings($6 at harbor freight) and snap ring pliers ($6-16 at harbor freight). Also make sure the top two screws for the bell crank aren’t too tight as well as the pillow balls because that’ll add more resistance and kill your servo.. On the 7th pack (6 & 7 were on the same day) the front passenger side axle popped out the diff cup. I was jumping a ramp made of a cinder block on its side and a piece of plywood. So we’re talking a little over a foot and maybe 15-20mph. I look online and it’s a very common problem. People have all sorts of “fixes” for this. Taking out the pillow ball spacers. Shaving 2mm off your upper and lower A arms. Recessing the pillow balls into the arms about 2mm. Making bump stops out of fuel line. All of this to shorten the length of the A arms or limit the maximum compression of the suspension. The reason this happens is because the ring gear of the differential has to be shimmed towards the driver side of the vehicle to mesh with the pinion gear that’s coming off the center drive shaft. Just looking at the front of the truck you can see that the drivers side out drive sticks out further than the passenger side. So the passenger side has less out drive to sit in and so at full compression it can pop out much easier than the drivers side. Using a digital micrometer to measure the distance from the diff housing to the end of the out drive, the drivers side is further out by 1.5mm-2mm (variance because the out drive on the drivers side has .5mm of play so I need to buy a shim manufacturer so I have enough stock to get things right). Before I got the truck I bought a Radiolink Rc6gs V2 radio with receiver because I had heard nothing but bad about the Spektrum radios to the point I didn’t even bother running it with the stock radio. Stock the ESC is set to 22.5 degrees timing advance. Which is A LOT of timing. The motor is 2050kv rated, the more timing advance you run the higher the power draw. I don’t have a motor tester but I’m sure it’s putting a few hundred more kv through the motor. With all that power draw your going to have significantly higher temps and that will shorten the life span of the motor. Your run times will be shorter the more timing you have as well. Now that I’ve tackled the drive shaft debacle I’ve got yet another problem. I decided I was going to clean up the pinion and spur gear, check the mesh, and put a little dry lube on the gears since there is a bit of a ware spot on the pinion. I go to undo the motor adjustment screws. With the hex bit bottomed out in the screw head and with just a slight turn I rounded out not one but both screws. So when the my LHS opens up I’ll go and get more screws. In the meantime I guess I’ve got some drilling to do.Arrma tough…as a care bare stare.

Awesome so far but a lot of minor annoyances!
First of all, THIS THING IS A BEAST! Watching the Amazon delivery guy carrying this huge box up my driveway brought a grin to my face like a 5 year old kid!First I’ll point out the absolute uncalled for oversights on an RC car of this caliber/price point. EVERY SINGLE BOLT AND NUT WAS LOOSE! front wheel nut was literally about to fall off. I went through and tightened everything right out if the box and literally every single bolt and screw was loose. And with all the issues reported of steering servos frying out, it’s absolutely unbelievable that there’s nothing in the manual about setting the servo end point adjustment! This thing was set WAY TOO HIGH putting unnecessary strain on the servo, I went through and readjusted following a YouTube video on how to do it.No included front bumper or wheelie bar is kind of a punch in the gut when shelling out this much cash on an RC. I mean seriously, how much would it have possibly cost them to include these two plastic parts!? Petty stinginess imo to make the customer have to go out and buy these parts that should be standard equipment on the truck. Also, there’s a lot of people complaining about turning radius being terrible but I haven’t had any issues, in fact I was driving It in the tight confines of my backyard making turns just fine manipulating the brake to help aid digging into a tight turn.I’ll update this review as time goes on but initial impressions are great. This thing absolutely rips right out of the box! My street in under construction at the moment which is perfect timing to have this truck. I’m having a blast ripping up and down the street. This thing makes some serious noise at WOT and with the loud tires resonating at speed, it’s impossible not to have a grin from ear to ear while driving this thing. I’d hate to get hit in the shins by this thing at WOT. Probably take a leg clean off! This thing is definitely not a toy and could cause some MAJOR damage to people, pets, property etc adult supervision mandatory

Lots of power! Very fragile?
The media could not be loaded.
First of all this thing is super fast and powerful in regards to the motor and chassis. I got it the next day from Amazon, so that was awesome. I only drove it about 5 minutes and it barely bumped a solid object in my yard and instantly snapped the lower front arm. Looked weird like the plastic had a defect from the factory. No big deal tho because a new set of lower arms was only $13 and I had it up and running the next day. Worked find after that for about a day of light use. Then the servo started “freezing” ? The throttle worked but the steering would just go out and stopped working (working then not working randomly) and would come back on when the truck would hit bumps. The servo is trash honestly and never actually steered it properly (underpowered). I’m not super disappointed but I’m definitely not happy after spending $900 on the truck and battery’s (not including the extra parts I had to order to fix it). I won’t give it 1 star just because there is a lot of videos on YouTube about these same problems but, come on for $600 you think it would be a little more high quality. On a positive note it is extremely fast and scary lol.

It’s great but check the pinion before you use it!!!!
So, it’s a beast basically and overall, you won’t be disappointed.Everything positive that’s been said I agree with. It’s fast, poised, tough and overall, a great RC.Super happy with it until, without warning, it spun the spur gear.Probably the 10th battery pack through it and the motor just whizzedwithout picking up.I was using the stock factory installed 12 tooth pinion. Never messed with it from the factory. It threw the “safe-D” circlip and the grub screw was all chewed up too. Basically the pinion is trashed. Not chewed up on the teeth but the grub hex head screw is welded closed where it rubbed against something after it backed itself out and the circlip was ejected and lost. One minute it was running great and the next it wasn’t. No weird sounds or anything as advanced warning.Been searching for the stock replacement but there are out of stock throughthe usual sources. Does that mean it’s a common problem? I don’t know. Maybe. So would I recommend the Kraton 6s BLX V5?Yes 100% !!!But do yourself a favor and double check the pinion fit when you receive it.Put locktite on the grub screw and buy a spare just in case, so you don’t end up like me and have an unusable RC until you can find another stock pinion set up!!!

Screw tightening necessary!
Product arrived on time and customer service at the hub was great. The packaging was damaged a little bit but it doesn’t hurt the performance. You are going to have to tighten the majority of the screws. And make sure you tighten the wheels down. Mine showed up hand tight. I only knew to check these things because I read other reviews. You will also have to set the end points for the steering servo. Failure to do so can result in premature servo failure. You can find plenty of tutorials online.I’m not impressed with the quality of the decals either. They are very thin and poorly placed you should also shim the differentials with the provided shims. After doing all the precautionary you will also want to set the punch ( it comes set at 4) you can take it up to 9. I took it out and ran a couple packs through it in the rain and it did everything it’s supposed to except for steering very good. The servo saver is non adjustable and makes steering at speed sloppy and wide. With all that being said This is my second kraton! First one is a v3. I just got it today so I can’t give a long term review. Buuuuuut so far so good.

Very cool truck
If you want a truck that absolutely rips this is the one. Very powerful and ready to run. Very happy with it. I took off the stock wing and body and pit in a new Proline body. Love this truck super cool, added motor fans too.

It brakes very easy
Very fast truggy but very super easy to brake, even with a small hit at the front, if you don’t have the bumper protector, trust me, is will brake, it broke on me over 3 times without hitting it hard, I recommend to have some extra money on the side to buy some extra parts specially the control arm and suspension, can save you a bit more if you buy the bumper first, other first thing you need to buy is the Central Diff in aluminum, the stock one will melt, trust me take my word, other than that, is super fast and strong if you built it the right way, I do not regret it, it is a hobbie after all.

Maybe it’s just bad luck but mine has been kinda terrible, so many repairs.
This is my first RC. I did some reading to learn about the parts and general usage. I don’t jump it off anything, I haven’t crashed it. I just drive it around but I have had so many issues with the gear mesh and now one of the shocks. I wouldn’t buy this one again. I have only used it maybe 6 times and I’ve had to fix something 4 out of 6 times. Definitely not durable.

Absolute Beast!!!
Way more than I expected. It can both Bash * Race in spec class. It’s lighter than the EXB version so it will perform better when weight is an issue. 1 downside: the Steering Servo *WILL BREAK* Guaranteed! So far 10 out of 10 Kratons here have broken their servo even with light use. @Spektrum

Nice design
Nice car, I’d say it’s the best I’ve had so far drawback is the servo is super underpowered horizan hobbies fix this! Update I just got a message from horizon hobbies about my seller feedback. They flagged it and said it was not from an experience I had purchasing from Amazon which is untruthful ( all my arrma products are from amazon) this is a shady business practice. Be careful

Steering is horrible !!!!
At six hundred dollars i got to say I’m a little no a lot disappointed with some things…first there was no manual with the truck you need that manual second there were no tools with it they were missing there was no speed gear with it all this is supposed to be included was not in the box. as far as the truck goes its fast no doubt but fast with crappy steering doesn’t work! the steering is horrible it’s like turning a tractor trailer why the company would even let a product leave the factory like that at this price is just unbelievable shame on them now i have to spend more money to fix something that shouldn’t be a problem in the first place. stop using plastic for the servo mount and put it in using aluminum and add a few more dollars to the price and save your company the bad reviews for it just my two cents worth.

Used/Acceptable
I got this as used/acceptable. It was brand new without original box. If you are on the fence with warehouse deals for RC cars I can say that my experience says it’s certainly worth the savings.

Ton of fun
If you have to buy only one RC car, this is the one you should buy. Ton of fun, stable, fast with right batteries, bashable, and good looking. It stands out well.

Great fun but be prepared to wrench on it.
It’s very fast, great for bashing. It NEEDS a better front bumper and aluminum chassis supports. Front of the chassis bent after a 20-25 foot back flip onto very hard clay.

Just breaks constantly
Got the car put the battery in ten minutes later it broke. And the truck just keeps on breaking. Everyone launches these and says they are super durable but I’ve only gotten 1 three quarters of a battery done before its broke and I’ve had it for three weeks. I’ve had to replace the entire front end of the car. When it works it’s awesome but it’s always broken can’t do much besides rip up and down a smooth road. For being the ultimate basher never been more disappointed definitely not worth it considering its almost been a month and haven’t even gotten to “bash” it

Great car. But my rc car had been previously opened
Great car. But my box was previously opened and the car had been removed and put back in. (Cardboard Inserts were damaged and there was a second circular plastic tape on the outside covering the cut one).

I love my Kraton
Upset i missed the sale but was so excited when it arrived. I’ve managed to get it dirty and have broke a couple things here and there. Bent a shock tower within a week but I was being rough on it. The car is giving me lots of fun and joy and i’d buy it all over again.

The Kraton 6s V5
This is by far the best RC truck I have had in years. Fun to drive with 2 – 3s lipos . Not for your first RC vehicle.. If your learning to jump this will survive the beating your going to give it..

Product should be as advertised.
Open box should mean just that, box has been opened but everything is there. Not so in this case, transmitter was missing along with instruction book and furnished tools. The unit showed signs of use (scratches on bottom and on bumper).

Fun bashing
This rc car is amazing, it’s my first one and I’m having such a blast. After a good amount of bashing some parts come loose which is too be expected but it’s an easy fix. I’m also pleasantly surprised that no parts have broken

You have to have a lot of room.
The durability is great. The only two things I had an issue with was it has so much torque it throws the pinion gear, I couldn’t get the screws out of the motor heads stripped on 1st try with tool’s supplied.

Buy a new servo
$600… But go ahead and get a different servo if you want to play with it. Played with it two times. After charging the batteries, plugging them up, turn it on and the servo is spazzing out. Exchange it for a new one, same thing happens again. Look on the forums, everyone recommends buy a different brand or just get a different servo than Arrma puts in it. Ridiculous.

Great RC buggy!!
Great truck. Center of gravity lower than other trucks, this is much more of a Buggy type. Seems well built. Have done some bashing, not too much, and has held up well. I also have the granite BLX and this is much faster and more robust. Doesn’t roll as easily. With full 6S power it will flip right off the line, so gobs off power, need to ease into heavy throttle. It’s a really fun truck!!

SLX3 doesn’t seem to be an improvement at all.
Spektrum transmitter and receiver is absolute TRASH! I had high hopes for the v5, a lot of people said the issues from v4 were fixed. Well my first hand experience calls BULLSHIT! My car has never been driven and now it’s broken. As I’m doing my maiden voyage inspection, particularly when I was making sure my EPAs where set correctly, the steering just starts going all wonky, unresponsive and getting stuck and I now have zero steering at all. Not only that but the throttle is also laggy and sometimes when I give any throttle at all the ESC reboots.Again I must point out that this car is brand new out of the box, never driven one single time. I didn’t even get to enjoy it for 1 single second after waiting WEEKS for all the needed components to arrive. I’m using all spektrum gear (charger and 5kmha 100c battery) I’m livid.Take it from me, buy a Traxxas. At least it will work properly out of the box and you can enjoy it for a day or 2 before something breaks. Arrma comes out of the box broken. Arrma has gone down hill since horizon hobby took over. Trying to fix what isn’t broken. Just give us the tactical transmitter and receiver back. For the love of God, I miss my slash 4×4 so much RN.
