Great service, have switched all 4 lines
I have made the switch to Boost Infinite for all four of our phones. This is saving over $150 a month. Customer service is amazing, the price is unbeatable and setup is super easy.

Do not waste your time on this wannabe phone service provider…Boost Limited not Boost Infinite!
The truth of the story with Boost Infinite. It is owned by Dish Network who is wanting to challenge the three main phone service providers. Currently, and probably for many more years, they do not have their own cell towers, but instead depend upon either the AT&T or T-Mobile networks through agreements with them. The problem is they can only let you use one of those service providers, not both, and they will not tell you which one. You will not find out until you start having service issues. A positive for Boost Infinite was that set-up was extremely easy, and the service representatives have been very friendly and professional with a helpful attitude. The problem though will begin over the next few weeks. For me, Boost Infinite would not hit a cell tower at my residence, but it did not bother me much because it would WIFI call through my home WIFI internet; however, I soon discovered Boost Infinite would not work at all at my work location, not even with WIFI calling. I contacted Boost Infinite to discover the problem. After much trial and error, they discovered that T-Mobile, yes T-Mobile, would not allow WIFI calling at my work location for whatever reason. That’s right folks. The Boost Infinite could not hit a T-Mobile cell tower while inside the office building, and on top of it, T-Mobile was unable to WIFI call from said location despite being connected to a WIFI internet. This was the first I learned I was using the T-Mobile network and not the AT&T network. Also, was the first time I discovered Boost Infinite was not using both service providers networks, but instead would delegate you to the one they thought would work best in your area. Well, shame on me because I already knew T-Mobile was the worst service provider in my work location. So, Boost Infinite is unable to help “your” situation, not “their” situation, because they don’t actually own and operate the network. Instead, they are beholden to the actual true service provider, luck of the draw as to whether that is AT&T or T-Mobile. So I have wasted my time on a wannabe phone service provider and will now have to go find a real mobile phone company. Don’t waste your time with Boost Infinite. I had hoped so much they were going to challenge the other three service providers, but it’s merely an illusion, maybe even a nightmare for some. Boost Infinite is no where near infinite. Instead, they are Boost Limited.

Saves Money every month
This has been a good plan for me so far. The set up was a little frustrating, but that was my own fault. Just call them when you start to set everything up, you really need to talk to someone to complete the transfer of your number and phone.I did notice a loss of signal one time for about a mile on a rural road in South Georgia. We had a decent signal at the campground, so it was not a big deal. There are no hidden fees, no surprises so far. Overall, I recommend this service.

Easy setup
I’m not sure what the negative reviews are about. The setup was so straight forward and easy using the app. All of the instructions on porting your number over is right there.I started the process the day I ordered the SIM card by downloading the Boost Infinite app. Instructions in the app indicated that I needed my T-Mobile account # and porting code. Received the SIM card the next day and within a few minutes the number from T-Mobile was ported into Boost Infinite.Ridiculously fast 5g speeds the same as T-Mobile because…. Wait for it… It’s still on the same fastest 5g network. Do they deprioritize MVNO accounts like Boost Infinite or Mint? Sure? But if I don’t notice it and don’t exceed the 30 GB limit before the true throttling starts, I’m good. My only concern is the week or two a year that I travel internationally, I won’t have international roaming but there are a lot of workarounds for that such as WhatsApp, etc.*9-8-23 update – still debating whether having the availability of an international travel option is a deal breaker. With T-Mobile, that is a nice piece to the puzzle even if it is only 2 or 3 weeks of the year. My wife and daughter do not want to mess with buying SIM cards at international airport kiosks. It doesn’t bother me much but I do like the convenience of deboarding and immediately having cell service.

T-Mobile towers
I purchased one of the SIMs when it launched on Amazon. From the research I did, Boost Infinite was running on AT&T and their own Dish towers. Their agent running their Amazon and Facebook pages aren’t answering on which towers they use, except “the best network” which everyone claims. I received the SIM, put it into a Moto Stylus 5G (2022), installed the Boost Infinite app, tried to activate. Their system told me my email wasnt on file, and I made sure it was the one associated with my Amazon account. So I had to go though their online chat support, which I’ll give Boost credit, went pretty smooth. After about 15 minutes of chat, looking up numbers, etc, my phone was live. I installed the Carrier app so the APN settings would automatically import. After a reboot, I have dish APN settings directing things to att.net. Also note that their own website still shows the settings for att.net at With 1 bar (5G). This was odd due to the AT&T signal with one of their competitors gives us all bars, I downloaded the OpenSignal app and discovered I’m connecting to T-Mobile towers (band 66). Download speeds bounce between 1 – 3Mb. The problem is. when T-Mobile took down the Sprint towers last spring, our T-Mobile signal and service is barely existent. This is why people are asking what towers you use. The 3 wireless companies do not work for everyone. Now people are posting and warning that Boost Infinite are sending out T-Mobile SIMs from their Amazon orders. I’m not sure how the APN settings work with using T-Mobiles towers when the carrier app, the Boost Infinite app, and Boost’s web site is instructing us to use AT&T’s APN settings.https://www.boostinfinite.com/faqs/activate-androidNow comes to the part of dropping calls this morning. I’m connected to my WiFi, but I’m dropping calls. This is when I discovered WiFi calling is not working. Not only is it not working, the WiFi calling option is no longer available in the Phone app settings. After doing a little research, this happens when your carrier does not support WiFi calling. But Boost Infinite is telling people they have WiFi calling. So back to the support chat I go. This time wasnt so pleasant. Either these support agents are working on too many customers at once and keep track of what’s being said, or I got one that just couldnt follow along. I informed the agent that the Boost Infinite app lets us change our IMEI number, but it’s not saving on their end. It keeps showing the previous phone that I signed up with, which was having issues and I swapped it into the Motorola Stylus. She told me that the app will not let us change the IMEI, only the reps can. Why have this feature in your app if it doesnt work? She manually changed my IMEI, I rebooted my phone, and I was supposed to have a notification about WiFi calling being available within 10 minutes. It never came. Finally she said my SIM is having problems and they’re sending me a new one.First impression is not good. I’m not sure how long I’m going to stay, if I do continue past my initial 30 days. Is Boost Infinite still offering AT&T service any more? Can I get an AT&T SIM if I order directly from Boost Infinite? Are we getting the correct APN settings with this sudden change to T-Mobile?

Happy I switched.. So far.
I bought the kit from Amazon and got $5 off the kit and a free month of service. It was delivered the next day. I had to pay a surcharge and taxes on the first month which was $1.84. So my first month was $21.84, including the startup kit and first months service.Activating the service was quite a headache and took quite awhile to complete. The instructions were not provided. I literally had to figure out all of it on my own.The chip itself comes on a big card which when you pop the chip out can be broken down three times into a very small chip to fit different phones. My phone has a big slot and a small slot and I did not know which one it went into. After messing around with it for a long time and trying both slots I finally broke it down to the smallest chip which could have been wrong and could have cost me another $20 if I was wrong.Luckily I was right and it worked out. I wish I would have had Instructions right from the start on what size was correct.Once the chip was in I had to download the app. Once I downloaded the app, that still wasn’t the end of the startup process and I followed the pop up instructions and it said it was completed but I couldn’t make calls. Luckily I accidentally clicked on something that connected me via chat text to customer support. I’m glad I accidentally clicked on it because it was no clear on how to connect to help from the app. There is just a little “?” at the top right of the screen and that’s it.Customer service instructed me to download the dish network app and then the dish network app instructed me to install yet another app and then things finally started working. These Instructions should have been included or should be on the Infinite app and pop up right at install instead of leaving the customer to figure it all out on their own. If the instructions are on the app, it is not clear to someone who’s never used the app where the instructions are.My 82 year old mother was trying to set up hers at the same time and we were both frustrated at the setup process. The setup process it not as easy as just throwing the new chip in. If you don’t have wifi at the time of install it will be impossible for you to complete.I got it set up in August 9 and it is now Aug 25. I use home WiFi when I’m home and WiFi when I am at work. I have used 0.07 GB so far with 16 days to go in the billing cycle. So far I am happy with the service. The initial setup was a real test of patience but since it’s down I am happy with the service and have had no problems so far. My first month was free so I am anxious to see what my true bill will be. It should be $26.82 according to what I’ve already paid but other companies I’ve been with gave added various frees so I don’t know if this company will do that or not.I am happy that I switched to Boost Infinite from Verizon. Verizon was getting way too expensive.

The Tech support staff is top notch!!!!
I bought the sim card from Amazon and while I was waiting I secured a compatible phone, unlocked Pixel 6a. As I was in the setup process it was very convenient that the purchase also included my info from Amazon so pretty much all my info was set in. Also the fact that you can pay your service with Amazon pay is also very convenient. Nevertheless, as I placed the sim card into the phone I had an issue that the app did not recognize the sim. I began what I was dreading, tech support but to my happy surprise not only the guy on the other side of the call was very nice, the solve my issue in no time. So now I got my phone working and is awesome that everything works great. Good Job Boost!!!!!

Service works as long as you have a newer unlocked phone
No issues ordering SIM kit and receiving it.SIM kit has 3 card sizes. My phone is an unlocked LG V30s that has been on Tmobile’s network since 2018.Summary: – 08/01/2023During activation call, phone was listed as compatible.Ported number.Calls to my number were going directly to Boost Voicemail.90 mins on phonePhone’s Settings page shows SIM setup for Tmobile network.Outbound calls, mobile data and SMS/MMS workedNo WiFi calling – Called Boost’s “Advanced Technical Support” who were unable to help me troubleshoot while at home as I had signal strength of 0 to 2 bars. – 08/09/2023Called “Advanced Technical Support” while at work with 3 bars.2 hours on phone trying settings, rebooting phone, removing/reinserting SIM, resetting network, adding custom APN.Tech worked with “Network Support” and opened a trouble ticket with Tmobile.I was to call back in 72 hours.- Purchased a new unlocked phone- 08/16Called “Advanced Technical Support”.50 mins on phone. No status on first Tmobile ticket from “Network Support”.”Network Support” wanted to open a new ticket.I said I needed my number to work and preferred to swap phones rather than wait again. They didn’t recommend this.- 08/16New call to Support.Swapped number to eSIM on new phone.Number works now. Tested so far. Inbound and outbound calls Voicemail on phone Inbound and outbound SMS and MMS messages Wifi calling (Settings, Cellular, Network Selection shows “Boost Wi-Fi”)Pending: Email to phone number SMS/MMS not working. No issues with call quality so far.08/22 final updateOverall the phone support is very good. The hold times are under 3 mins to get a live person. The staff are friendly and try to help but I don’t think they can fix what’s broken. Not their fault.I tried the Chat feature on the mobile app. Someone responded within a minute but the text input field for the app was no longer present. I couldn’t communicate with them. Please add a website for account access. On that site show the email to SMS number for the account. So the last straw. My credit card web site showed my previously acceptable number from T-Mobile now as an “Invalid Number”. I need this for authentication.I had to use the security questions/answers to authenticate.I tried to re-enter the mobile number, but same response.I finally ported my number out. No issues. A call to Support and transfer to the Rentention Dept. 5 mins later I had a transfer PIN.The account number shown by the mobile app was also confirmed as correct.30 mins later I was with a new carrier. To be fair, the reason this porting process was so fast was because I had already upgraded to a phone with eSIM support. So if you have a 5 yeaar old phone that works with your current carrier, think twice before trying this service.

Good cell service, but activation too complicated
I am happy with my service now, but activation seemed a bit difficult and complicated. Some improvements would be:1. Have SIM cards for both T-Mobile and AT&T available on Amazon so the customer can select the service they need. I live in a location with zero T-Mobile service, but had to activate T-Mobile service and then request a change in carrier, wait for a new SIM card, and activate AT&T service then so it took about a week before I could call on my phone.2. I was told I would need a soft credit check when I activated my AT&T service, but I was not told to unfreeze my credit and which credit reporting service would be used. Had I had this information I would have had this ready ahead of time. I unfroze my credit reporting for Equifax while I was on the phone with your rep, but it would take an hour for it to be effective and it was too late in the day to try to activate my service so I had to wait until Monday to finish.3. If you want additional feedback go to Amazon and read the reviews for Boost Infinite. Some are frivolous or caused by the inexperience of the customer, but some are valid. Overall there are many negative reviews on Amazon which nearly caused me to not use Boost Mobile, but I wanted to try it knowing I could always switch back to my previous carrier if things did not work out.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT!
I purchased this to switch my phone service over from Mint Mobile. For the same $25/month I’m currently paying Mint Mobile for 15gb/data. I will be getting unlimited data, with Boost Infinite. Plus the price is locked at $25/month for as long as I have the service. So it was really a no brainer to switch. The only thing that I no longer have is using my phone as a mobile hotspot which Mint did have. I’m very seldom anywhere that Wifi isn’t available. So this isn’t a real concern for me.Now about the excellent customer service. I tried to use the app to activate my phone and new Boost sim card. I was unable to activate it using the app, so I called the customer service # that was on the sim card kit.I was connected with, Activation Specialist, Noemi. She explained that there were some additional steps that needed to be done since I was porting over my old phone #.Noemi was excellent at her job and very patient with me working through the process and I let her know that and also told her I would be posting this review. Thanks again Noemi. 🙂

Excellent Customer Service
I have to truly complement Boost Infinte for their truly excellent customer service. I ordered the SIM from Amazon and received it promptly.I did have some installation issues which were, quite frankly, were completly of my own doing. I ordered the SIM to activate the service in my Pixel 6a. I installed the SIM, downloaded the Andorid app, but when I tried to activate, the app was not seeing my phone.I have an iPhone 14 on T-Mobile, so the thought occured to me that I would simply install the app on the iphone instead of the Pixel using an esim, as I had originally planned. I downloaded the Boost Infinite app from the app store and went through the process to install the esim. Slight problem. I forgot that I bought the iphone from T-Mobile, so it is still locked. The esim installed on the iphone, but I got all kinds of warnings and when I booted the phone back up I got the welcome screen to set up the phone from scratch. After several reboots, I was connected back to my T-Mobile plan, with the Boost esim showing up as a data only option in settings. Realizing my mistake, I deleted the esim, but the Boost App still showed it was conneced to the EMEI of the iphone. I then made my first call to Boost Infinite support. One problem was with my Pixel 6a. I had not used it in awhile, and I had to update it to current, and it took forever to get the updates done. Once that was done, I was able to give the rep the IMEI information for the Pixel, and she removed the iphone from my plan and replaced it with the Pixel’s IMEI. I installed the SIM, rebooted the phone, and everything was properly switched over. For $25 guaranteed for life, this ulimited plan sounds like a good deal. Right now, I believe my SIM is using T-Mobile’s network. In the future, plans are for customers to be able to automatically switch between the networks offering the best service. So far, so good. Kudos to the high quality and patient tech support reps who helped walk me through my initial problem and got me running!

Complicated and time consuming to get going. Tech support is required to make it work
So there’s good value here. I’m now saving $15 a month over what I was paying with Metro PCS. The difficult part was making the change. It took almost 3 hours to complete, and it did require 2 calls to tech support to get it all correct. Even though I had prepared and gotten all my account numbers, transfer pin and other info in place in advance. The automatic system didn’t work, the chat was time consuming and didn’t work and I still ended up with an email 2 hours later saying “there was a problem with the activation, call the support number” and even the guy on the support number said I may have to call back during business hours the next day. He actually got it working, but to tell a customer they won’t have access to their phone for 2 days even before trying was a bit worrying. It does work, I am on the new service, but it was a pain to switch. Definitely worth my time to save the cash though.

A bit of a pain to get going
The sim wasn’t recognized in my phone so I had to call to set everything up. Customer service was luckily American based and super friendly and helpful. Seems like the connection is fine in my area (Chicago). Phone voice quality seems fine, but surely that’s more a phone microphone thing than simcard thing. Seems like this is a good choice of carrier for prepaid. Did try mint and visible beforehand and had awful experiences with both.

First SIM card would not activate and Boost Mobile wanted me to wait 2-3 days for a new one. So glad I ordered from Amazon. Got replacement SIM Card the next day and was able to activate.

There is no choice for service providers
Amazon uses coverage maps to determine what carrier you will be on. I think T-mobile is the preferred carrier. My location in Oakland Maryland has a tower several miles away for T-mobile. But the signal is extremely week. T-mobile coverage maps put me in the Extended 5G. Well, not working too well. I would really think long an hard on this one before you order because you won’t have a choice. When I do get a signal outside, the data throughput was about 10mb done with 2 bars and 5G. Inside one bar and LTE and no data. I did only order to see the coverage, but will be updating with Boost to try to get moved to AT&T because of the lack of towers. I know I could dispute this one because there is no mention on who the carrier would be. Assigned by Boost., but I did purchase as a test to see if it worked where I lived – Barely. Coverage for T-mobile is sparse in my area. Just food for thought.

Happy I switched!
Activation required tech support. But they were great and it took no time. I was a Verizon customer, so I was skeptical at first. I’m so happy I switched! I’ve had services every where I had Verizon and even places I didn’t. Went to the Mountains twice now and had services when Verizon customers didn’t. I recommend them to everyone I know.

SIM card not recognizing, finally matches
Update to my review, is after a days chatting with the different person on the app, finally one of them got my problem and sent me new SIM card that matches on my phone. Thanks for the person who helped me with.I normally read the reviews and will buy the products. By the first attempt and loading the app chatting with boost employee, they said would be take up to two days to activate your line. Now is 6 days and still they can’t help me to activate my line and my unlocked phone is not recognizing the SIM card. Will be returning it.

Setup takes a little time but gets you huge annual savings
I paid AT&T $70/month for a single line for many years which I didn’t think was too bad, but when I had to bypass my car infotainment and use data for all music and navigation I needed unlimited data and decided it was time to switch.Don’t let anyone tell you that coverage relies on Dish network or needs some special new phone. Boost Infinite actually piggybacks onto the T-Mobile/AT&T 5G network, so my strength of coverage on my iPhone 12 is exactly the same and now I am saving $500 a year. The biggest challenge in porting over my existing phone number was actually AT&T’s fault, not Boost Infinite’s fault. The first “transfer PIN” that AT&T gave me didn’t work because AT&T had put some type of fraud protection on my account and it took a long call with their fraud protection rep where I had to answer multiple questions to verify my identity but finally they disabled it and gave me a second transfer PIN that did work and once I gave it to the Boost Infinite activation specialist I was up and running in minutes. One area Boost Infinite could improve on relates to the contact phone number on its app and website. You call it and T-Mobile answers, not Boost Infinite. They will transfer you but it adds time to the call. Please update the phone number on the app and website to be the direct number to Boost Infinite activation and remove the T-Mobile number to better and more quickly serve your new customers.Overall, very happy to have unlimited 5G for only $25!!!

Activating can be a challenge
I tried to activate my s20 ultra via esim from Metro PCS. I had my port out pin and my Metro acct number on hand but when I got to the Sim card part in the boost infinite app it forced me to enter the physical Sim which I reluctantly did. Then it got stuck and the app wouldn’t let me go any further and my text messages stopped working. I clicked on the live chat in the app and Katie was able to help me. I can’t speak highly enough about Katie she made the rest of the process a breeze. I gave her the info needed such as my old acct number and emei and port out pin along with a few other things and then she had me download the carrier app from the play store which btw has no icon and runs on the background for activation purposes only from what I can tell. After a couple minutes I was activated and my texts and calls were working (you may need to restart fist but i didn’t have to). Again Katie was a blessing to work with and so far everything is good. Only time will tell if the service is any good as I’m only on day one but for $25 it seems worth it.

Infinite is beyond reach, OG boost is a jealous EX L- SAYS HE’LL CHANGE Amazon blames infinite
They get 2 stars because BOOST INFINITE really tried to do everything possible to help me but Boost MOBILE is holding my number hostage and I can’t port. Unfortunately Amazon cancelled my original order and didn’t notify me and that is what started the problem. No one seens to know what the real problem is with print and it’s so messed up now my only option is to return the SIM card to Amazon as defective. Amazon customer service won’t take accountable for cancelling my order and has offered these readings- 1. They detected fraudulent activity on my account but can’t tell me what or when. 2. Boost infinite couldn’t fulfill the order. Then the Amazon customer service agent over promised and did literally nothing to helpNothing has been resolved and it’s been 2 weeks

Really Impressed, honestly
I’m getting good speeds around 80 Mbps in a rural area. Had an issue with activating through the app but a guy named Art from boost infinite talked to me and resolved the issue in less than 20 minutes. I highly recommend this company, great value for 25 dollars a month. Who would pay more than twice that for maybe an extra 15 Mbps? Not worth it. Plus they have a good financing plan for Apple and Android phones and it’s very affordable. You can literally pay 50 dollars a month and get good service and a iPhone 15. Great job dish and Art!

Simplest activation I have ever gone through, and great value for the service.
Upon receiving this SIM Kit and downloading the Boost Infinite app, I was able to activate my iPhone XR and have it fully operational in well under 5 minutes. I wish I had paid more attention to the product description and realized that I didn’t even need the physical SIM, but the app noticed that and prompted me to select between eSIM or physical SIM during the short activation steps. eSIM worked just great. Coverage and speeds are great where I’ve used it. Overall a very good experience. And for anyone like me – with an old phone that’s still locked to a carrier you can’t remember, Apple Support can help you identify which carrier sold you the phone or first activated it, and from there it is easy to get it unlocked – nothing at all to do with Boost and not something they can do for you, just helpful to know.

Easy, easy, easy!
The Sim package came with everything I needed to activate, sim tool kit and the sim. They also include QR code so I can download the app.Once logged in on the app I was able to initiate activation but was prompted to call in for support. Customer service was very helpful in checking on the activation status and took the time to update/secure my account while on the call. After I would say 30min my activation was complete and I was able to use my complete service.Thank you for making such a simple process!Service performers great.

Simple, Solid Service
I’ve never purchased a SIM card off of Amazon, but I heard the rumblings of this new brand and thought I’d give it a go (I mean, it can’t hurt, I’m paying over $70 a month with my ‘other’ carrier).Purchase via Amazon was totally normally – nice that it was an additional $5.00 off. Now, I don’t have an eSIM capable device, so I had to wait for the actual SIM to be sent. Only took a couple of days (thanks Prime).Got it, downloaded the App (I think the only way to activate the phone?), went through the steps for porting, and boom, new service. The whole process of App download to number working took about 15ish minutes. Not sure what network I’m on, but the service is good, fast, and haven’t had issues. We’ll see how the rest goes, but in regards to actually purchasing and starting with Boost Infinite, super simple.

Pros:- Affordable Plan: At $25/month, the unlimited data, talk, and text offer is a competitive deal.- Unlimited Basics: The unlimited talk and text are reliable, ensuring consistent communication without any hitches.Cons:- Data Throttling: Once the 30GB high-speed data cap is reached, the noticeable slowdown can be quite frustrating for users who rely on consistent internet speeds. Conclusion:The Boost Infinite SIM Kit offers a budget-friendly plan with the essentials of unlimited talk and text. However, heavy data users might find the post-30GB slowdown a significant drawback. It’s ideal for those who prioritize calls and texts over high-speed data usage.

Service is fine, but …
Monthly Bill increased with a 32 dollar tax fee when I bought one of their devices on top of the monthly 7 dollars installment fee for the device . They had promised that there wouldn’t be hidden fees.

A great alternative to TMobile
The first one sent to me didn’t work, but the refund was swift and the replacement came quickly, too. Set up was simple (remember to port your number with your current carrier), and it’s way less expensive than TMobile, where I was for years and years. These guys pretty much are using TMobile towers anyway, so it’s the same thing, just not at the TMobile price.

Still too new I guess
Buggy app, unable to enable or even check certain things and was told no protection plan eligible for being your own devices but advertise it.I originally came across boots infinite on Amazon prime for $20 a month so I jumped on the deal, I have a iPhone 12 Pro Max I brought from AT&T and my girlfriends phone android from straight talk, originally the iPhone was easy to setup having a available esim, I had no issues activating my iPhone 12, her phone we had to port the number over, updated it and followed everything through but straight talk claims the account number was the imei of the android phone which didn’t work with boost infinite, I was going back and forth for a couple of days trying to figure out the port account number and such then the phone ran out of credits from straight talk and became deactivated and was told it has to be active to transfer, so then I said to scrap that port and the line we’ll go for a new number for my iPhone 11 I have spare with a available esim, unfortunately they told me I have to pay $25 to activate another line since they can’t put it on the line that’s not activated? THIS BECAME A WHOLE WEEK PROCESS AND THEY STILL FAILED, I was on the phone everyday with someone and they tried to port the straight talk number over still instead of cancelling it, it was a issue with the app both their IT team and myself couldn’t input email on the account to start so I went onto a web browser on the iPhone 11 and was able to type my SAME EXACT email and pass then cReAtE another account with SaMe info, and the iPhone was activated! Hoorah I got 3 phones lines now on to accounts with the same login and only 2 working phones, on top of this I go to the device add-ons within the app and I see device protection plan for $7 limited time 19 days remaining to enable, so I attempt to enable protection for both of my devices and it won’t let me activate it, i spoke with customer service on the phone about this issue as well and then I was told we are not eligible for device protection since we brought our own devices? Company’s are offering electronic device insurance JUST CAUSE and my phone plan won’t let me have protection for my phone. Here’s my review.

Ask which towers they use
I’d like to say that I love the service. But, they randomly assigned my 2 lines (without asking me) to a T-mobile service. I am moving within a couple of months (already have the house) and am switching from AT& T. I was at my old house when I (with some difficulty) set up the Boost. Got it working after I gave them 2 email addresses when they said the first one wasn’t valid or something like that. I only had bars. Went to the new house and have no service, “SOS only”. I went back to the old house and called support. That’s when the retention division said I was on T-Mobile and that’s why it wouldn’t work at the new house. I already knew that, and would’ve chosen AT&T if I knew I had that choice in the beginning. They offered to switch me to AT& T but ONLY to start over from scratch and give them yet a THIRD email address and ANOTHER credit check. My credit is locked and I refuse to establish another email account. BTW, the initial email address that they said didn’t work is how they communicate with me. So much unnecessary hassle. Now I have to find another company.

Amazing Customer Service, Price, & Signal
I bought the Boost Infinate from Amazon, and the Samsung S23 Ultra unlocked phone. The phone and SIM were both shipped and sold by Amazon at an amazing price.Setup was a breeze thanks to Elizabeth, the customer service rep that stayed with me in chat to help. She tried to call my work number in case we got disconnected from chat, but it wouldn’t go through. Not her fault but that of my employer likely blocking 800 numbers. Nevertheless, Elizabeth quickly walked me through finishing the setup over chat and had my phone up and running in no time. I have never experienced such amazing customer service through text. Their team goes the extra mile to ensure everyone has an amazing experience. Glad I made the switch and I’ll be maxing out the number of lines when my kids are old enough for a phone.Signal / Service: I went from 1 bar of service at my home with AT&T & Tmobile to 3 bars of service switching to Boost Infinate. Driving outside of my neighborhood is a consistent 5 bars with Boost Infinate. Definitely a boost in service…pun intended…Future Suggestions: Please provide a plan for Apple watches. I have 6 Apple watches I’d love to move over to Boost Infinate.

Had some activation hiccups, but worked smoothly after.
I activated my Boost Infinite SIM from Amazon on a Galaxy S23 Ultra, and it was going smoothly on the app until I inserted the SIM in the phone. The phone would not recognize the SIM card, and I had to contact support. I was told to install Dish Carrier App, which provisioned the APN settings of the SIM. It worked after that, so if activation doesn’t work for you (on Android), look up Carrier App on the Play Store and install it.The plan is great value, and no credit check is required when buying on Amazon!

You should plan on the possibility of being without your phone for 48 hours.
You may not experience the problem that I had. The zip code from my previous carrier that I was porting my number from had an old address, so activation failed with an incorrect zip code. Something about that kicked it to the next level of support to resolve the issue. It has been 12 hours to this point and my phone is still not working. They are telling me I should wait 48 hours before calling back. I will call back sooner. If everything had gone right the first time, this probably would have been quick and easy, but I don’t know that. Tech support answers the phone very quickly, is easy to talk to, and easy to understand. Since I have spoken to several of them, it also appears that keep good notes that can be referred to in subsequent calls. No complaints there, just when it escalates to the next level of support you won’t hear much.

Hotspot not unlimited!
Seems like a good deal, but I thought unlimited data meant unlimited data. I missed the little section about “Add-ons” which are extra charges for Hotspot. There is a maximum of 30GB hotspot you can purchase at $30/month which makes this more expensive than other providers. I needed TRUE unlimited so switched to Visible Wireless instead.

No Service. None, nicht, nada
Here are direct quotes from the Boost Infinite Web Page:”Power of Three Networks””We brought together three of America’s 5G networks to give you unparalleled nationwide coverage. Seamlessly switch between networks based on your location.”Here is my experience: The SIM card supplied, picked a default carrier, ” based on my zip code” that has NO SERVICE where I live. Customer Care is nice, but they have stated they cannot switch me to a different carrier.Advanced tech support says they may be able to switch me, but after many hours of talking to Boost Infinite support. I still have no service, and it has been over a MONTH waiting. First question; Why would I need to switch carriers if the “Smart Network” will, “Seamlessly switch between networks based on your location”? Second question; Who in their right mind would create a mobile network so “locked up” that it cannot be serviced by their Customer Care agents? Third Question; If Customer care cannot stop my credit card “Auto-Pay”, then am I being charged for nothing? I checked the Boost Infinite Coverage Map before I ordered service. It clearly shows I have both LTE and 5G coverage where I live. I would be happy with either one at this point.

If anything it’s a little bit better
I waited to do a review until I had it in use for a bit. Overall I cannot really see any difference in service coming from tmo everything is pretty much the same My wife says her phone works better at the kids drop off line nowFor me service is just as good as before no dropped calls or dead zones for me. Bill is about half what we paid before so I guess that makes it better

Quick and easy process
I ordered the Boost Infinite SIM card because I thought it would be a quick way to get my phone switched at a good price. Overall, it was exactly as expected. The SIM arrived very quickly and it was easy to set up and get activated. I actually decided to call vs use the online setup and the representative that I spoke with was very nice and got me up and running in a few minutes. The monthly price is much lower than I’ve been paying and the coverage in my area has been very good so far.

Anything but easy & Impossible to activate
Someone at Amazon built a lemonade stand to support a multi-million dollar business. Was excited about the $25 Boost Mobile service since I am prequalified for this inexpensive service as a PRIME member. Received SIM card from Amazon and that’s where the easy part ended1. Attempted to activate online and Boost didn’t recognize my SIM Card ICCID2. Called Boost customer care and found that there is Boost Infinite and Boost prepaid . I was transferred to boost infinite.3. Boost Infinite tried to look up SIM Card using email, ICCID and didn’t have any record of the order.4. Boost Infinite could not create an account for me without doing a credit check which is not the Prime prequalification that is listed on the Amazon website.5. after hours of DIY and some time with Boost Customer Care (delightful people BTW) I decided that moving my number was a risky proposition and that I’d stay with my current carrier6. The Boost Customer Care rep told me he agreed with my decisionMy Boost experience is more a poor reflection on Amazon. A Boost account should have been created for me once the SIM card was shipped and linked to me via e-mail or ICCID. further, there should be a dedicated portal for Boost customers that purchase through Amazon. My experience appears to be more of a Amazon failure than a Boost failure.

So far, so good and activation was a breeze…
So far, so good! I heard rumors about this new brand since January and curious about service ever since. The first month discount and availability on Amazon pushed me over to test it out. Activation using the Boost Infinite app with my iPhone 13 was really slick and easy. Data speeds are equivalent to my previous provider TMobile, hopefully that lasts. I’m just testing out the service on my single line before committing to switching for the whole family, but so far so good. Not sure how they claim $25 unlimited forever, but I’ve taken screens shots just in case they change their minds.

Boost Infinity offers much bang for your buck!
Aside from the monthly charge for unlimited 5G connectivity, which, at $25 per month, is reasonable, to say the least, the ease of switching your unlocked phone service to Boost Infinity is impressive. I was able to make the change and get up and running on the Boost Mobile 5G network in minutes, just by following the prompts provided in the Boost Mobile app. I have so far had no issues using the service provided and look forward to being a satisfied customer for the foreseeable future

Great service
When I got the SIM card I was hoping to just be able to pop it in and go, but of course it didn’t go that way. Not because of the product but rather because of the phone I was putting it into. Customer service was polite and went over and above to make sure I got my service working (customer service just doesn’t seem to provide anything helpful at a lot of places these days). Then I lost that phone the very next day. Again I called Boost Infinite and they sent me a new SIM card so I was able to put that one into another phone in only a couple days. I had to call one last time to change my esin number sense I had a new phone but then I was good to go.

Saving me a ton of money on my bill
Was skeptical at first, mainly because I wasn’t sure if I would get good coverage where I live, but overall I’m very pleased so far with the purchase. I used to have T-Mobile and have never run into any coverage issues – i mainly switched over just because of the price (was paying over $50 for T-Mobile). So I’m now saving a bunch monthly and the coverage has been great! I had to call to get help with activation and getting my number over, but the customer service was great, super easy, and responsive.

No International roaming plan available
Warning! Marketing is not clear. The international $10/month add on is only for calls from the US. They have no international data, voice or sms plan which really is bad. I regret switching carriers. There was no clear information about this prior to signing up.Amazon has made a mistake.

If your phone is unlocked, like my iPhone 12 Pro, setup was a breeze.
Purchasing this service was a breeze. 3 clicks from adding to cart and purchasing. I received an email from boost infinite and amazon asking me to setup my account in the boost app. Got that taken care of and activated my line virtually (took at 15 mins, make sure you’re on WiFi to do this). I haven’t ported my existing number, yet. So don’t know what that experience is like. But compared to other ESIM providers setup was so simple. I’ve only tried the service for a week, so don’t have too many initial impressions other than it is working. Happy to update review later, but for now I’m a happy customer. I haven’t dealt with Boost’s customer service, yet, but the fact that I could set everything up by myself and virtual bodes well for my experience.

Sim card.
It’s a sin card and what I liked was if you’re prime they literally gave you one month of free service. It was easy to install and the area I live in the service has been great. If the promo is still going I’d say go for it. Even if it’s not 25$ for unlimited is not a bad price. I believe the high speed has a 35gb cap before throttling so keep that in mind. I usually stay connected to wifi as much as I can whenever I can and haven’t hit 10gb. I’m actually using my phone with this sim installed to write this review with no wifi and no issues.

Can’t get service to work.
I received my new SIM card and was surprised to see no instructions. I received a welcome email with a few instructions but nothing close to what should be provided. The first chat I had with customer service was to provide them with my porting number (which my current carrier provided and told me to give to Boost). I was told that it would take from 3 to 48 hours for the number to port. I waited a couple of days for Boost to call me back at a specified time. I did not receive a call back. I then got in touch with another rep. I spent 3 hours trying to get the number ported. They kept asking if I was sure I had the right account number from my current carrier. After that time, they told me to call someone at another number and they could help me. I kept getting bombarded with text messages from my current carrier asking me to tell the new carrier to resubmit the request. Since then, I keep getting emails saying I missed their calls and they would call back. I don’t have any missed calls and their number is not blocked. I have requested a refund and certainly hope they do not try to charge me. The reps were very nice but I don’t think they have been given the training needed to port numbers for the various carriers. They are not consistent with what steps you should take or when. I’ll stick with my current provider.

Don’t Be Fooled by Dish Network’s Boost Infinite Coverage Maps.
Let’s get to the Most Important Aspect of this wireless provider’s service. I have an AT&T account and Spectrum Analyzer tools and for 1 week I have traveled Over 1000 miles Test Driving Boost Infinite wireless side by side with an AT&T Device. To be clear, Both Devices are Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s Factory Unlocked from Samsung.com. I’ve traveled from Baton Rouge Louisiana along I-12 & I-10 to Mobile Alabama through Mississippi and the Service was TERRIBLE. I also traveled along I-59 & US Highway 11 from Slidell Louisiana to Tuscaloosa Alabama and experienced TOTAL Dead Zones along MOST of US 11 from the McNeill Mississippi area to Poplarville and between Lumberton Mississippi and Purvis Mississippi. also between Poplarville Mississippi and Lucedale Mississippi along US 26, AT&T didn’t have ANY dead Zones!! For Boost Infinite to say they OFFER coverage on “America’s TOP 3 Networks” is a TOTAL False Claim. BUYER BE AWARE, Unless you live in an Area that has exceptional T-Mobile coverage then go for it, If your looking for an AT&T cheaper Alternative, then go with their Prepaid Division of Cricket since they are 100% owned by AT&T. I am VERY Disappointed in Boost Infinite and would not Recommend this Service Provider to Residents in South Louisiana or South Mississippi.
