Super warm and cozy, totally waterproof, fit exactly to size
Zero issues with delivery; perfect fit; no leaking at all; 10yo loves them and tells me the are very warm and comfortable (this is significant because we live in Alaska). Columbia always comes through; they are one of the last reliable co. left in the states.

Don’t stay dry at all.
My son wore them one day at recess in the snow. One of the boots was a little bit wet on the inside and the other boot was soaked after just a short recess. He had them tucked into his snow pants the whole time and wasn’t out in the snow for very long.

Brand doesn’t mean anything
I bought this snow boots for my girl. Because it’s Columbia, so I’m ok for the higher price compare with other brand. But! It’s totally not fit! My daughter’s feet can’t even get into the boots because it too narrow and the material is extremely hard. My daughter feel hurts when getting them on.

Heavy duty winter boots for toddler
We bought these winter boots for my 2.5 year old son. They are a bit heavy, but are great winter boots. They are water resistant and kept his feet warm while playing in snow.

Awesome Find!
Just in time for the last snow storm we had. These boots were great and protect our little guys feet form the snow really well. There is also a thick padding on the inside to provide even more insulation. Even though we got them one size bigger, he was able to play and walk in them very well because the shoe was strapped so nicely.

Order one size up
Bought these for my almost 6 year old who is a size 12 shoe. I bought the 13’s hoping that she may wear them next winter but with the warm padding inside I don’t think that will be possible. Her feet stay warm and dry while playing in the snow and when she’s done with these I’ll use them for our 4 year old.

Holds up great in snow and mud
Truly waterproof!! My son was jumping in puddles and moving around in the snow. They’re a little tight, so they may take some breaking in, but overall perfect for their intended use.

Can’t beat a known standard.
I searched for weeks online comparing kids snow boots. I finally came back to the Columbia Powderbugs as both kids had previous versions and they worked well. My son wore them today for the first time, and while I bought them big on purpose, they seemed to stay on great with the strap.Really can’t beat the price for a true snow shoe. These aren’t “fashion” snow shoes, they really are icey, snowy, winter boots. Feet stay dry! I knew when I ordered I would get a quality product. Arrived quickly.

My sons couldn’t get his feet into the boots.
The boots look nice on the outside but my son couldn’t put his foot into the boot no matter how hard he tried. He is 9 and has wide feet and he couldn’t get his foot in an angle to get into the boot so we have to return them.

Poor Quality
I purchased these boots for my grandchild and the tighten strap on the left boot just broke. They were worn less than a month, but because I purchased them before snow was expected, the return window is closed. I expected better quality for the amount I paid. Next year’s boots will be purchased from another company.

The clunky easy to pull on boot that work.
The typical clunky snow boot that we are all familiar with. Not that stylish but they keep making them because they work. Easy to pull on, keeps feet dry, easy to get on and off without help. These are wearing great and will be passed on to another child.

Absolutely love these boots
These boots are great! If anything keep my kids feet too warm, that they sweat a little bit. We’ve never come in from playing outside and had cold wet feet. The liner comes out of the boot if you need to dry it out a bit before the next wear. Really sturdy, don’t worry about my kids feet when we’re out in the snow. Glad my daughter grew into my sons first pair and was able to upsize him. Will definitely keep buying these in bigger sizes as needed

Ended Up Returning
These didn’t work on my very small teen’s feet. He wears a size 4 1/2 shoe, so I bought a size 5 in these. They were too small. I didn’t have time to have a larger pair delivered before our snow trip. We ended up trying a second brand, Northside which even in a 7 was uncomfortable on my son’s larger foot. We ended up with Sorels in a size 7. He really likes those.

Broken and never even worn
Poor quality! The boots broke before my son even had a chance to wear them. Unfortunately, we are passed the return window since I bought them before winter started. Extremely disappointed.

Great Snow Boots for Kids
These boots were purchased for a weekend trip to the snow in the mountains. I ordered them on a Thursday, and paid very little for one day shipping and I got them on Friday. Let me say, my son loved his boots. I really liked the fact that the top portion of the boot can be adjusted to fit tighter. This really helped keep snow out as my son was practically crawling in it. The boots feel well built and sturdy. Something I expect from a Columbia product. The boots are also warm, as my son never complained about being cold (he did so with previous boots he had). The bottom of the boot has pretty good traction, something very important in wet snowy conditions. I would really recommend these boots.

Great Boots
These boots kept my son’s feet warm and dry. Now they have been handed down the line to my middle son. They still look really nice and work just as well as they did the first day I bought them. I only give 4 stars because snow seems to always creep it’s way into the top. A very small amount but would be perfect if none did.

A little heavy and clunky
The footbed is a little hard and not great for kids feeling the ground under them. That being said my almost 3 yr old didn’t slip in them at all. We were at a heavily used sledding Hill that was all ice so not a lot of slush or fluff to see how they held up to moisture. Would buy again but I miss the soft quilted kind from my childhood. Can’t find anywhere. So these will do.

Durable but not waterproof
I think these boots would do fine with just snow but they can’t handle any rain without the inside getting wet. They don’t have removable soles and it can takes up to 5 days for the inside to dry. Our son attends school that is mostly outside so if these get wet on Monday, we have to get through the rest of the week with wet boots. Will not purchase again.

High quality, warm, waterproof boot. Does run large.
Be prepared that these boots will run a little large; about one size larger than the equivalent summer shoe. I’m guessing this is intentional as it allows room for thick insulative socks (which they should be wearing anyhow) and a little room to grow throughout the season. We knew this as we read all of the reviews before we bought a pair for our son a couple of years back. Even so, we ordered a size larger to ensure we got more than one season’s use out of these because they are made really well and will last well past their fitment.Using the ankle velcro our daughter can get them to fit comfortably and well enough that she can be her normal, spastic self in the snow without fear of them coming off. And the string at the top keeps snow from entering from that direction. The color matched exactly as advertised and we like the children’s Columbia boots as from our experience with them (previous purchase for our son) they have proven to be waterproof, they keep the children’s feet warm and they are very high quality.

You can not go wrong
Great shoes you can not go wrong wih Columbia. I give it a 4 star only because the inner lining bunches up on my son or it stays on his foot when hes pulling his feet out and he shoves it back in. My son is in school and last year he was in kindergarden. Of course I worried about his boots being taken on and off at school but it worked out just fine. His feel or socks were never wet. Now that he is in 1st grade I will be getting the columbia boots wth the fur or regular boot instead of dealing with the lining. My son has work the powerbug boots since he was in a size 10cI will stick with columbia because their products have omni heat and water proof products. Which is great for my kids 7 and 10 very active boys. All their light weight and heavy weight jackets and coats are columbia brand

Hard to put on but great quality
Unfortunately had to return because it was very hard to put on. Getting ready in the morning is hectic enough with a 2.5 years old… this made the morning more complicated. But very high quality and fit is good… once you successfully put them on.

They do what boots are supposed to do.
They fit the kid. He didn’t lose any toes to frostbite. He likes the way they look… though you can take that with a grain of salt because he love to wear crocs too. My fiancée can wear them when the kid outgrows them.

Ordered a size up- still couldn’t get them on. Too tight and stiff
I ordered a size up to make sure these would fit and have some room to grow over winter. Even with normal socks on, I couldn’t get them on my 2yr old. I took the lining out to try and that part on first and it was so tight around the ankle I couldn’t even get them fully on. The boot wasn’t too small, just too tight and stiff to get on. Left the insulation out and just put the boot on and it was fine, but there is Velcro on the bottom of the shoe for the lining to stick too so that was bothering my son and then the rubber boot part was rubbing his heels, so he wouldn’t walk at all, just cried and wanted picked up.

Useful snow boots.
We bought this pair of boots on the large size so our granddaughter could wear them both this winter and next. They fit her fine and she enjoys wearing them. Too bad we did not have much snow this year so she could have used them even more. They were made in China.

Not for toddlers under 3.
Wish I would have read the reviews BEFORE I ordered. I knew with the brand we would be good to go for warmth and comfort. Unfortunately, like other parents, I CANNOT get this boot on my son’s foot (he’ll be 2 in a few weeks). We tried pushing, standing him up, everything and it will not go on. We will be returning them.

Used
These arrived having very obviously been previously worn. They are covered in fur and grass with no tags or anything. Fortunately, they are still in decent shape, so rather than dealing with the hassle of returning them, we will just keep them. But I am irritated that I paid nearly $50 for what I thought would be, and should have been, a brand new pair of boots and received a used product.

The best kids snow boots, full stop.
STOP SEARCHING AND BUY THESE. After three hours playing in snow up to his knees in a blizzard, my son’s feet were still bone dry and toasty warm when he came inside. The felt/wool liner is no joke and the flexible drawstring waterproof boot shaft creates a perfect seal over the liner of his snow pants. Do consider ordering up a half a size, though, to account for thicker socks and growth spurts. My child is an 11/11.5 in most shoes, so I got a 12 in these, and they’re perfect. Slightly roomy in the toe, but still very comfortable for him to walk, run, and play normally, and any smaller would probably be too small. Seriously, just get them. They’re perfect.

Way too tight
Bought a size up and not even close to fitting my toddler. Still couldn’t even get them on after taking the liner out. I tried putting the liner on first and then the shell and it still wasn’t happening. Unfortunately, I didn’t try to put them on before winter weather, so I missed the return window and were stuck With these useless boots

so soft on the inside!
So far so good. These are for my 11 year old. I shoved my feet in there to see how they feel and they were so cushion-y. I’ll update if I find any negative things about them but for the price and for the amount of snow we encounter (um, greetings from Louisiana) they are perfect for vacation, cold hunting camp weather, or rainy and cold football games!

warm and comfortable
These boots come up past my son’s ankles. I got him a size 2 as that’s what the is in shoe size and he is 5.5yo. He loves them. They are easy to get on, tighten easily at the top, and have a liner to take out dry if needed. We haven’t needed that at this point yet though. Best boots I’ve purchased. Was worth the extra money.

Nice boot but frustrated I got a 200g boot rating instead of 400g like the description outlines. Not sure if these will do the trick in Idaho winters.

Great quality boot but they run a tad on the smaller side.
I purchased 2 pairs of these. It’s only giving me one option for review. The size 1 for my youngest fit just fine. My older son wears a size 2 1/2 – 3 sneaker. His ariats are size 3.5 but a little big. So I got him the size 3 which were too small. So I ordered him a 4 and he told me those felt too small as well. But he’s still wearing them, so they must not be super bad.My other son wears a 13.5 – size 1. His size 1 boots fit him fine. I’d order on the side of going larger than smaller. The quality of them is really nice. Can’t stand the department store boots around where I live. Glad to have found these. Wish they weren’t quite as expensive, but they all are these days.

Great boots!
We buy the same boots, year after year, size after size. They’re perfect for a busy outdoor kid in the snow. Super warm and waterproof. Removable liners can be dried separately—and much more quickly than a whole soggy boot.

Recently purchased these Columbia kids snow boots and I really like them. They’re sturdy, warm and they have a good grip on the bottom. I also like that there are the adjustable straps so you can tighten to help them stay on and keep snow out.

They look huge
The boots look very sturdy and strong. It goes high enough to keep the snow from getting in unless you pour snow and water in on purpose. There is a inner shell which my kid said it was comfortable. It can easily be removed for cleaning. They are a bit on the heavier side. And they look huge. My kiddo wears youth size 3. The boots seem impossible for size three at first glance, but when we took the inner shell out snd wear them along, the size is reasonable. So I think the outer shoes are just huge to accommodate the thick inner layer. Overall, the shoes are very bulky and inflexible outside. These won’t be my ideal shoes for kids, but there are not many options this year. Giving that Columbia is a good brand and the price is no more than other less known brands in the market, we are keeping them. I am hoping that their functions will outweigh the bulky look. By the way, the boots along do look handsome. It is just huge as if a kid in them are wearing an oversized pair.

It’s too big and too small
We bought a size bigger boot for my kid. It looks nice on the outside and does have a liner that comes out. But the liner was way too short for his foot and he could not get it on. The boots however were plenty big but not comfortable to wear without the line so we are returning them and going with another kind.
