Love this jacket
Love the color, length and hood on this. Also glad it has zippered pockets. Taking one star off because the hem on both arms sleeves is crooked and lays funny. Not worth returning, but I wish it was sewn correctly and laid flat.

Nice Jacket
I’m a consistent size 18 and the 3x fit perfectly. This jacket is very flattering but it runs small and there’s no stretch whatsoever to the material.

Weighs a ton
Although I wear this everyday to walk the dog, I find myself disappointed with how heavy it is to lift. It is adequately warm. It just ways a ton. I don’t care for that.

Way too small
I ordered this coat in my usual size and it is way too tight. I’m so disappointed because I really like it. I may order the next size up and hope it fits.

Glad I sized Up – Very Warm and allows movement of arms
Just got this in today prior to a trip to Michigan next week. It shipped via UPS and got here fast!I ordered one size larger after reading some reviews so I got the 2X. If I had ordered it in XL I wouldn’t have been able to zip it up.The lining is so soft and warm, the jacket is very light weight and when I bend my arms there is no resistance. The hood is lined as well and the jacket is comfortable. It comes down just enough though I do wish it was a little longer.I plan to put the warmth factor to the test in Michigan and will update my review after that, but after wearing it for 5 minutes at home I was already getting warmer!

Love this jacket and it was perfect for Winter trip to Southern Hemisphere
I bought this jacket to travel and use as my top layer in Australia and New Zealand for a winter visit there. It was perfect. The hood and jacket are both lined with down so if I was a little cold with the jacket zipped up, I pulled the hood over my head and it was a lot warmer. Great jacket and the fit is flattering despite it being a puffy jacket. It’s not too bulky in all the wrong places. Love it. I look forward to using it in Southern California for our cold winter nights.

Full size too Small
If you are using the size chart to determine what size to buy, know that this jacket runs a full size small. Also, it’s lined with fur and therefore very warm. Apparently I neglected to see that as I was looking for more of a packable lightweight jacket. Well made, heavy duty zipper and warm hood. Good lower hip length, beautiful color. Just doesn’t fit and going back, sadly.

Great quality and cute, but runs small
I love the material and style, it’s warm and soft on the inside and looks great. It runs pretty small. I consistently wear a size 2X/18 in tops so I ordered a 3x so I would have room for sweaters underneath, but I won’t be able to wear anything more than a regular shirt with this. It would be more comfortable with some stretch, but overall the quality is great and it’s really cute.

Good jacket No stretch
So I did read lost of reviews before buying and I knew that the sleeves on the jacket where on the smaller side and they definitely are, other than that jacket or great.

Great warmth!
I love this jacket! I live in Wisconsin where the winters are cold. The fleece lining is wonderful and very comfortable. You don’t even have to layer up underneath the jacket. It keeps me warm even wearing only a short sleeve T-shirt under the jacket, because of the lining. It’s flattering and came in a number of different colors to choose from. My husband is probably tired of me saying “This is such a nice jacket”, every time I put it on! I’ve tried many others, but have always returned them. This one is a keeper.

Runs small
I originally bought my regular size which is XL (14-16). I tried it on but unfortunately it was wayyyy too small. It was tight in the shoulders and I could barely zip it. I then bought the next size up which was XXL (18-20) and that fit better but was still tight. I then ordered a 2x which is perfect! I love this jacket. It is lightweight and yet warm. It can be worn with jeans and can also be dressy. I can’t wait for cooler weather.

Love this coat! DEFINITELY size up!!
The media could not be loaded.
I absolutely LOVE this coat and it’s extremely warm. Like everyone else said, you HAVE to size up! I’m 4’11 180lbs and typically wear a large in everything sometimes having to size up to an XL. I wanted to play it safe so on this coat I sized up to a 2X and I’m SO glad I did! There is absolutely no stretch in this coat and if you’re going to be layering like I will I’d definitely size up 1-2 sizes. The fur inside is SO soft and it goes throughout the hood AND the sleeves!

AMAZING FOR MY MONTANA TRIP!
I bought this for a trip to Montana in May. When we went it was very rainy and at times very cold. However there are some days where I just wearing a short sleeve in this jacket it kept me warm. Needless to say despite all the rain this jacket definitely kept me dry. It is very waterproof as long as you don’t get the material inside wet. I got an extra small but definitely should have sized up to a small. With all the layers underneath at times fit felt a tad bit tight and could have benefited from a small. For reference I am around 110 pounds and 5‘2“. The jacket rested right at my waist did not go past my butt area like most of these types of jackets do. The sleeves cut right at my wrist as well and were not oversized or baggy. Definitely try sizing up one size just to give yourself room for layers. The zipper works perfectly and the hood definitely keeps your head very warm. Hope this review helps!

Comfy and cozy except for the wrists
Love this jacket except for the wrists – they are cut tight and are quite uncomfortable if you wear a watch. Aside from that, this coat is perfect for late fall/early winter here in El Paso. I’m not sure how it would fare in very cold weather, but I’ve been cozy in temps ranging from 35-50.

Expected more from Columbia
I have bought many Columbia jackets over the years because they are well made, warm and last long. I was looking for a late fall/early winter jacket- just something to wear to walk the dog in, so I ordered this jacket. At first glance, I noticed that it had a lot of loose thread and the zipper kept sticking and I had to keep playing with it to get it to zip up. Also, when you put your arm through the arm holes, the inner lining would push out around your wrists. An indication that it wasn’t sewn well. It felt warm I have to say, but could not stand up to 30 degree winds. The inner lining was soft, but definitely shocked me a few times as it collects static electricity like crazy. For $80, I genuinely expected more from a trusted company like Columbia, but was disappointed.

Ordered actual size, perfect!!
I’m 5’ 5.5 and usually weigh between 115 and 122. I am so glad I ordered small!! Really warm jacket (I’m in Minnesota) that doesn’t need anything heavy underneath, a long sleeve shirt is fine and the small fit perfect.

So cozy!
I followed suggestions from previous reviews and sized up. I’m 5’6” and 165 lbs with wider hips. I’m normally between a medium and large, depending on the item. For this coat, the large was a perfect fit. I included photos since I hadn’t seen any photo reviews for the dusty pink color— looks just like the photos and I’m very pleased!

I typically wear a size large jacket since I like room for layers. I decided to get an xl based on reviews and am glad that I did. Fits very well (even with layers), keeps you warm and is not bulky.

More than expected
What mattered most to me was comfort and warmth. The coat is very soft on the inside and does not leave lint on my clothes. It does not stretch very much though it is comfortable. I was surprised at how warm I felt with a long sleeve light sweater, and the coat on when the temperature was 32 degrees. The coat is thin which is why I was surprised. Keep in mind that I’m 5’2 and close to 180lbs. Which means my body will keep me warmer due to being overweight and the coat covers my bottom due to my short height. Today it was a dry snow and my coat did not soak in moisture when the snow melted on it.Size: Buy a size up if you do not want it fitted to your body and want to add layers underneath. I wear an XL and bought an XXL. I was able to fit a fleece jacket underneath for added warmth when it was 15 degrees out, and I felt very warm. The color of the coat is beautiful and attractive. I’ve had a few compliments.I did snag the coat on something metal and it did tear. Though I’m not surprised nor disappointed in the matter. It was my fault not the coat. The hood is very soft though a little large. There is not a snap or drawstrings to tighten the hood.I would buy this coat again.

Warmest jacket ever!
I’m so glad I bit the bullet and got this jacket! I love how warm and cozy it is! I’ve worn it in 30-40 degree Midwest cold days with some wind and it has kept me warm even staying out in the cold for 30-40 mins. I needed something that would not only keep me warm but also help keep some of the wind blocked when I’m at the dog park and this does exactly that. It does fit tight in a way because it’s not stretchy so I got a medium and it gives me enough room for a long sleeve tee inside but I honestly don’t need to even layer with this jacket on because it keeps my body heat in. I would LOVE to get this jacket in a longer midi length if they have it! For reference I’m 36 inches bust, 34 underbust, and 30 waist and the medium fit me perfect.

Runs small, but otherwise great
It’s a beautiful blue jacket with a blue gray lining. Very comfortable although the arms are somewhat slimmer than expected. I Purchased both a medium and a small. I usually wear Small in everything but I decided on the Medium due to the arms. I’m 5‘2“ and 115 pounds for reference. the arms are a bit long which is Normal for my body size but might be beneficial to a taller person. The length is right at my butt even in the size small. The zippers are a great quality and are not scratchy when putting your hands in your pockets and they glide smoothly. I appreciate the depth of the hood and the pockets, roomy and accommodating, and not shallow. there are cheaper options on Amazon, which I have purchased, but at the sale prices, this Columbia jacket is well worth it and I highly recommend it.

Definitely runs small
I got this coat in a 1x bc the 1x was smaller than the xxl. I’m usually a medium, large or extra large in stuff and all the other reviews said it ran small. So definitely size up if you want to be able to wear stuff underneath it and if you don’t like your coats to be really tight. I definitely could have went with a size smaller but it’s perfect if I want to wear something else underneath it. Soo warm and soft! So worth it! Oh and people said stuff about the lining not being sewn in well but the lining in mine and even the sleeves is perfectly fine!! I would recommend buying it!!!!

Great value and look
It fits beautifully and I love the dark blue color, which goes with everything. It’s the first thing I reach for going out because it is warm without being bulky. It’s one of the few garments with a standout logo–“Columbia” on the left side–that I don’t mind.

Size up
I’m 5’3 and 190 lbs .. After reading the reviews to go up a size. I decided to order a 1x. normally I wear anywhere depending on brand ( first time ordering Columbia clothing) a large to Xl. The 1x fit perfect, plenty of room to wear a sweater underneath or another light coat. Definitely size up one size. The coat is very warm and i love the length for as short as I am.I ordered the black and love it!!!

Excellent fit, finally found the perfect coat for my body.
As a 5’10” former athlete with broad shoulders & a 38-40 F bust, finding comfortable coats is always a challenge for me. I can wear anywhere from XL to 2X depending on the brand. As a frequent Columbia shopper, I was aware the coat would run about half a size smaller than the label, which this coat does seem to. I do not like fitted clothing or coats, so I opted for the 2X. It is perfect. The sleeves are actually long enough, it easily zips over my…ample…chest and my pandemic belly, and it’s incredibly comfortable and lightweight. I can even zip it comfortably over a heavy-duty hoodie. I live in the Chicago area & we are currently in a cold (& snow!) snap. I just received this coat today, and went outside to test it. This might as well be a huge, bulky down puffer. It’s inexplicably warm for being so lightweight. I can tell this will be easy to fold/pack for travel, and will even be comfortable while driving (which I do a lot of for work).I know people appreciate details when shopping for clothes online, especially now when you may be looking for sizes you don’t normally wear, due to some pandemic pounds. If you wear any of the sizes listed, I would recommend trying this coat. I don’t usually give such glowing reviews, but after searching for a coat for SO long, dealing with zipper issues and too-short sleeves and the inability to zip over my chest, this is such a relief. I would personally go up a size, unless you prefer fitted. It seems to have a little stretch, so I think it’s a matter of preference. Anyway, give it a shot! I very highly recommend this coat.

Perfect except it’s smaller than the size chart says
I could zip it up and move around pretty well but it was smooshing my boobs down and they are not all that big. I’m a B cup. I am solidly a medium according to the size chart and nearly every other piece of clothing I’ve purchased but it’s too small so I exchanged it and am waiting for the large to arrive. If that one fits right it will be a really awesome jacket. I love the soft lining inside. It’s luxurious. I love that it has a hood, most insulated jackets don’t. It seemed warm although I only tried it on briefly indoors. It seems well made with nice details.

Strangely tight wrists that don’t open or stretch
I don’t know how this jacket got so many good reviews. I’m shocked to receive a Columbia XL that’s nearly too small and I can barely get my hands through the wrist of the sleeves, which do not open or stretch. I do not have overly large hands. Most of my XL’s from Columbia are too big on me and I was contemplating getting a L instead, good thing I didn’t because I would have had to send it back. As it is, I will not be able to wear anything thick underneath. This runs small.

Quite warm for a non down jacket
As some of the other reviews mention this is sized a bit small. Medium usually fits me in the Columbia brand, but I bought a large in this one and it still only fits a thick tee inside. Because it’s not down and because of the lining it’s not very light or packable, but it’s flexible and not heavy either. But it is really warm. I’ve worn it on 32 degree weather with just a full sleeved tee inside and a pair of gloves and been toasty. It’s lining goes into the arms and hood as well and, with the jacket being zipped up fully, the hood is so snug and comfortable that I don’t even need a beanie. What I would change about it is maybe add a couple of inches.. it stops mid butt so is not very flattering.Good buy if you can get a sale price and I anticipate this being my go to jacket all winter.

Runs small, but skip if you’re petite
The price of this was unbeatable, but it doesn’t fit right since I’m short. I paid $40 and got 2 sizes since the reviews said it runs small. I usually wear an XL, so I got the XL and the XXL to see which one fit better. The XL fit better in the arms and the length, but was too tight when zipped up. The XXL was more comfortable and less tight when zipped up, but was way too long in the length and the arms. Since it runs small, you have to buy 1 size bigger, but if you’re petite like me, it won’t fit everywhere else. Most likely I’ll be returning both. For reference, I’m 5’3”.

Size up for sure
I am 5’6, 115 lbs and normally wear an extra small in columbia but sized up to a small after reading the reviews. The small fit well in the body but the arms were unconfortably tight with anything heavier than a tshirt. So i ordered a medium to compare. The medium is a little looser in the body but the arms fit so much better, much more comfortable especially when wearing a sweatshirt or hoodie. Warm and cozy. I would recommend going two sizes up.

Just what I was looking for
I was looking for something warm and comfortable. It met both of my needs. The lining inside is especially warm and insulating. But the lining doesn’t allow for much stretch. Due to my height, the bottom of the coat sat at the lower part of my butt. Per the reviews, it ran small, so I ordered 1 size up. It was a bit big and not flattering to my short, curvy figure, but it kept me warm. So I’m happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

I love the coat!
I just needed something for work. It is warm and long enough to cover my bottom and the hood is also really warm and soft. I bought this right around Christmas. Last week I went to zip it and realized my zipper was broken 😞 I also have an issue with one sleeve. The lining hangs down around my wrist and it makes it hard to take my hand out. I wear this everyday and I was disappointed to hear how long it’s going to take to get it repaired. 4-6 weeks is too long. So I am just going to either buy a new coat or get it repaired on my own. I own a couple of Columbia jackets and have never had issues. I not sure what the issue with this coat but for 2 months of wear and the repairs is going to almost take as long doesn’t seem worth it! Plus I have to pay to ship it to them! Columbia do better! For an extra 50.00 I could have bought a Northface.🤷🏽♀️

Heavy, warm jacket – runs small
Folks! This is a beautiful jacket, but it is heavier than I thought it was going to be. I would’ve preferred less lining – in general I find it a heavy coat for its style and size. Also, it definitely runs small unless you only want to wear it over a T-shirt, and it doesn’t have any stretch. It’s true that the arms narrow down quite a bit to the wrists, which I like.I read all these things in the reviews except the heavy part. I didn’t realize quite how warm a coat this was.If you’re looking for an actual winter coat and you don’t need it to cover your butt or upper legs this could be the coat for you, but if you want to layer over a sweater you might want to go one or even two sizes up!I am 5 foot 7 and 125 pounds, and the medium was quite formfitting and snug over a long sleeved shirt, and the large was formfitting and snug over two shirt layers (one flannel).

Warm pretty jacket
This jacket fits me perfectly; I love the color (gray); and I love the fur lining! I ordered a large; I am 5’2” and 135 lbs. I have the Columbia Heavenly Jacket which is very similar to this one. I did not realize they were almost identical except for the lining until I received this one. I am not sure I need two jackets that are so similar. But I live in Oregon, and it is a long, cold winter, so I will probably keep it. I am a fan of Columbia outerwear!
