Columbia Women’s Heavens Vest
I don’t like coats. Too bulky. I have another vest that is bigger and puffier. This Columbia vest I purchased Nov 2021 and it is “Fitted.” I usually wear Medium and bought Medium. Too snug with light thermal long sleeve shirt. Be sure to Order Size Up (Med to Large). I used the vest even though snug. Very comfortable, warm, yet light weight. With a size up you can wear a sweater underneath with alittle extra room for phone, wallet, etc and still look nicely fitted. Yes, I would recommend. I intend to purchase a Large when the price comes back down.

Kept me very warm
Bought this for a cruise to Alaska last month. Most of the time, I wore it over a tank top and long sleeve shirt and it kept me toasty when outside (I wore a non-puffy water resistant Anorak jacket). I found that when I was indoors, it was a little too toasty, so the thermal reflectivity technology definitely works!

Flattering and true to size
This vest is very flattering on. It’s a slim fit but with enough room to wear a thick long sleeve under it, though you may not be able to layer much beneath it (maybe a thin base layer and a long sleeve). No frumpy look with this vest. It was warm enough in high 40 degree weather. Not been out in colder weather than that to test. The pockets were functional (not too small) and the collar has a nice soft material on the inside for the back of the neck. The inside of the vest is bright like a disco ball but it’s supposed to keep you warm so I don’t let it bother me. I’ve not taken it camping or hiking yet so it’s untested in that respect (has not been beaten up or used in elements). Will provide a rewrite after I’ve had time to do that. I’m so glad I bought this vest – I would buy a second JIC of accidental puncture or tear. Would hate to have to wear anything other than this. I am a short and have a muscular build with broad shoulders. I normally wear a M shirt. The M fit perfect.

Wore it in Alaska, wore it in San Francisco, it feels good, it’s comfortable, fits great, keeps you warm, pocketed up with enough room for phones, keys, etc. Great for outdoors activities, autumn, winter like or spring season. I love it!

Great for walking around outside
Overall I really like it. If I was outside walking around a lot it would be perfect! I needed it for work and I am driving a lot for work, so it doesn’t rest comfortably on my body while I’m driving. But I still really like it an wear it often.

Perfect layering piece
I have had the mighty lite vest for years but Columbia discontinued that one. I have held off buying the heavenly due to confusing reviews. Well a good price got me to bite the bullet and purchase the olive green. Why are there bad reviews for this vest? It’s awesome! Not super puffy but slightly more than the mighty lite. Love the omni heat feature, it helps so much in our cold Minnesota winters. The soft collar is a nice feature as well, something some people said was a downfall and I don’t agree. I am 5’10” and can wear a medium or a large. I have a 36 inch bust and 30 inch waist. I opted for my usual large in vests and it fits exactly as expected! I could do a medium but it would he more fitted and I wouldn’t be able to layer sweatshirts underneathe. I don’t like my vests fitted for this reason. As for color, the olive green can appear Olive or brown looking depending on lighting and what you are wearing. It’s an awesome color and I’m very happy with this vest! I may have to buy another!!

GREAT vest
I’ve been wanting a black vest and this is absolutely perfect. It is warm, so I gave it four stars for light weight. I’ll probably get another vest for warmer weather as I love wearing a vest. It’s like a purse for me. I don’t like to carry things. I loved this vest so much I bought the matching jacket. We are heading into Spring in Tennessee, but I know I will have this stylish vest for years to come. Can’t wait for fall. lol

Exactly as I hoped
I bought this to wear while playing tennis but found I wear this more than I thought. I play tennis outside so this is perfect for those chilly mornings. I also wear it on chilly days as it keeps your torso warm. It’s a nice longer length too

It’s love.
I was nervous to order this in a size XS, but at the time it was almost $40 cheaper than some other the other sizes (which to this day I don’t understand why amazon does this). At any rate, it fits perfectly and I am so happy with it. For reference I am 5’4” and weigh 116 pounds. I typically go with size 4-6 and S-M so this XS was a risk, but again, I can wear it comfortably with a sweater underneath. I have been waiting years to order a vest, always dragging my feet until fall was over. Not this year, I finally splurged.I believe I saw it on a review here, but the zipper does have a cloth material at the top to cover it up so it won’t scratch your neck/chin and I really like the fleece lining around the neck too. The pockets are also nice and roomy, I can comfortably fit my iPhone with a bulky otterbox (hey, my iPhone has no cracks despite constant dropping!) and still would have room for car keys or something of that sort.I can tell, we will be BFFs. I just can’t ever gain weight. 🤣

BUY THIS ONE!
The reviews on this vest were very helpful in figuring out what size to order. I am 5’7″ with a long torso. This vest is the perfect length and had a flattering fit. It is definitely fitted so if you want a looser fit size up. I am able to wear a heavy cable knit sweater under this vest but it is a snug fit in the chest area. I will leave it open when I do that. If you want to wear lighter weight shirts under it then wearing it open or zipped are both an option. I will be back for more colors…this is a very nice garment.

Perfect vest
This vest fits me perfect I bought a medium I’m 5 foot 5 , and 130 pounds. It’s called pink blush and it’s actually a combination of coral and pink. It’s a beautiful color.

Fantastic vest

Finally.. a vest I like!
I’ve only had this vest for a few days but I love it already! I’ve really struggled to find the right cold weather vest for me. Some are too tight, some make me look huge but this one is the best. I need lots of room in the chest and have big hips so sometimes I have to buy plus size but the plus size was more expensive so I took a chance and bought the XL and it fits perfectly. Really glad I didn’t have to pay more for plus size. Very roomy but flattering cut and lines. Actually very warm for how thin and light it is.

It could be I just got bigger
I love the vest, in fact I am wearing it right now, but I will say the one thing that bothers me about it is the bottom hem is a little snugger than my other vests. I probably put on a few pounds during quarantine, so… It could be just me. I love the color, its a bluish gray and it’s super warm. Overal happy with it. If you are a little bit fuller in the hips you might want to size up. For reference, I am 5′ 3″ and 114lbs.

Don’t look any further!
This is by far the best vest I have found! It’s super flattering and light weight for packing. It has a reflective thermal material on the inside that retains heat. It is very well made. Thin enough to fit under a form fitted light weight jacket, zipped up. I will definitely buy a lighter color for spring low temps

Pretty good for the price.
I really like this. I’m kinda sad cause it is a little big 😔 I should have gotten a 1x but after reviews I got the 2x being worried it would be to small because I have a butt. I’m 5’8 and 14/16 pants always have an issue with stuff sitting over my hips and butt but this is long enough just to big in the stomach. Since I’m stationed over seas I feel it would be very difficult to return and get one back right away since I waited so long for this one. Hope this helps the next buyers. The quality is pretty good. Hoping the inside doesn’t tear though feeling thin. Not bad for the price and it really is warm.

Nice quality for good price
So, once you get past the disco ball interior, this jacket is very nice. Light weight and thin, equivalent warmth to a light weight down vest but much thinner and more flattering. I like that the length gives slightly more butt coverage. The fleece lining the neck is great (I always hate how that nylon stuff feels against my neck when zipped up all the way). I am 5’3” 135 with 38D chest top heavy with slimmer hips and the medium fits great, even over baggy fleeces and sweatshirts. I could probably size down if I wanted a tighter fit , but I wear this as my outer layer rather than under a jacket, so prefer it a little looser.

Great Vest
I ordered the L in Chalk White. I’m 5’4” & 143 pounds (small frame with wide shoulders). The vest is perfect for New Mexico fall weather with a light sweater underneath. The lining of the vest is a shiny material that keeps the chest & back areas warm; it’s wind proof and light rain proof as well. The arm holes are roomy as is the vest itself allowing for bulky sweaters. The fit is flattering and the length is perfect for me with the vest being about 3-4 inches longer than the picture. Overall, I am very pleased with this vest. Columbia has always been a consistent brand and product.

Won’t Disappoint
I have always had good luck when ordering Columbia products, this vest is perfect and lives up to all my expectations. Sizing is right on, I ordered a Medium. I’m 5’3″ and weight 130 lbs and it fits great with even a bit of room for a bulky sweater underneath. The quality is excellent and even though I can’t attest to the warmth as I’m ordering preseason to be prepared for the winter months ahead. I can however tell it will work out great for the winters in Northern AZ where we can get into the low 30s. The Omni-Heat lining is what I was looking for as my husband has a Columbia vest with Omni-Heat lining and he says it keeps him very warm. I ordered the Beet color and it is right on, not a burgundy and not a red, a great winter color.

Confused on sizing
So I am extremely confused about the sizing here.I orginally placed an order for a 2x thinking I may need room when layering. The 2x still has a lot of room even with a hoodie including the arm holes (HUGE)So I then ordered a 1x and it fits snug with a light layer underneath. I mean snug around the chest and tummy, arm holes are perfect.I am extremely confused about the sizing here. I normally wear an xlarge 16-18. I have a 42D chest. I am able to wear a tshirt and a thin layer zip up on the 1x and I feel snug like a swaddled infant.I wish the sizing would have been better.I do like the contour fit because it’s a ladies style.I am waiting on the Columbia puffer jacket to see how they fit together and then will return one (leaning on keeping the 1x).

Great buy!
Super warm! I have long monkey arms and can’t ever get things to fit the length of my arms – so a vest was ideal. There’s an inside zippered pocket by your heart and two lined pockets on the outside for your hands. The reflective inside keeps the heat in and the lined collar doesn’t get bothersome.I’m 36G/43in bust, 30in waist, 44in hips. I got XL so I could fit a hoodie under. L wouldn’t have allowed a thick hoodie under. The waist is obviously too big but I can deal with it. It’s for warmth and looks pretty good. It does slide up my hips a little bit but doesn’t pool around my waist at all. I wish the waist was tapered in a bit or at least the hips had stretchy area on the sides to grip and stay down and stretch to accommodate bigger hips and smaller waists.I got it at a great price compared to a sporting goods store.

Warm thin vest worked well on hiking trip
I took this vest on a hiking trip in Peru. It was very light weight but warm allowing me to minimize the weight of the clothing I carried and wore over the day as we hiked from high snowy passes into the cloud forest ( temps as low as 34 and as high as 65 over the same hike).

Great fit
I tried this with Amazon wardrobe. The fit was good but a bit tight in the breast area but not uncomfortable. It felt warm and the material is soft. The color was great and it looked great. Didn’t keep it due to price and that I hace other vests, however, it was hard to let go because it was a great material and match for me.

Flattering, high quality and perfect
First, this vest — at least in size Small — was made for people with my build. Not very busty or hippy with a relatively flat stomach. The olive is a really rich color and the cut just extends over the behind enough to cover any bumps. Terrific quality and I got it on Prime Day for less than $30 so it was a super bargain.

Lightweight but warm, perfect layering
I own this vest in several colors (found them at an outlet at a great discount), but I wear them so much I’d say they’re worth the full price. I ordered this color (blush I think it’s called) for myself because I saw it at a steep discount when I was ordering another black one for a gift. These are lightweight but quite warm. They have a little bit of puff, but are fitted enough that they don’t make me look like I have no shape. They are exactly what I need when a full jacket or coat would be too much, but no outerwear’s would be too little. That said, for most companies and even some Columbia stuff I am between a small and medium, and I needed a medium in this because it is fitted and I wanted to wear it over flannels, thermals, or sweaters. I could zip the small, but it would not handle layers beneath it. It does NOT have stretch; there isn’t spandex or elastic in it, so keep that in mind for sizing. I truly appreciate the zippered pockets, and I love the inside zippered pocket at the chest so much that I don’t think I could ever go back to vests without this feature. The zippered hand pockets are big enough to hold my cell phone, but the chest pocket is smaller. The collar is lined with a soft furry fleece that is very warm and comfortable. Zipped all the way up it does cover my chin (which I like), but unzipped it does lay nicely and flat like a collar. The length is perfect for what I wanted, covers my bum, but doesn’t really go past it. (I am not tall… 5’3”, so may be different for a taller person). The other colors wash well, so I assume this one will, too. The blush pink color is more a bright peach than pink (not much pink to it, in my opinion), but I’m ok with that because I wanted something brighter. I have vests from other brands, but this particular one is the one I seek most often. It just checks all the boxes for comfort, warmth, looks, convenience, and quality. Overall, I highly recommend this.

Fantastic vest
I just love this vest. I wear it all the time. I got it for warmer weather ski days but it is so warm and comfortable and Cute that I wear it for everyday errands and outings. It has a great inner pocket for my phone. I have the coral vest and have received many compliments on the color. I highly recommend this item

I tried this on in Renys when I was visiting Maine. There was only a medium available, which is usually my size. I was able to zip it u, but it was a bit tight around my bust. I immediately came to Amazon, and bought it in the large in two colors. So comfortable!

Quality product- The BEST!
This vest had all that I was looking for… style and utility with quality materials. Beautiful cut and fit, and the stitching on the upper back is especially attractive. The slick warm interior, soft material lining the neck and well placed pockets that zip close add wanted comfort. Besides the secure exterior pockets, an interior zippered chest pocket is so helpful. I’ve searched far and wide to find such quality with all the bells and whistles. This IS the best!
