Great air fryer. Wanted a larger one than the Ninja I had. Nothing wrong with it. Saw this one and checked out used and returned. Said like new and it was so much cheaper. Decided to take chance. Don’t think it was ever taken out of box. It was new !! Very happy with purchase.

    6 months in and I’m a believer…

I see most of the small kitchen appliances like the InstaPot, expensive programmable rice cookers and specialty ovens as gadgets that do perform well but often not well enough to make it off the shelf enough to justify the expense. Like my sous vide, it works very well but not quite as convenient as I’d hoped. I thought the air fryer was just that, a fad or craze. My initial InstaPot airfryer left a lingering plastic odor and got sent back. The Cosori was recommended and on sale so I took a chance. I’ve had (and frequently used) it for the last 6 months and I stand corrected. We in fact, use it 2-3 times per week. Chicken wings, thighs, reheating pizza, shepherd’s pie, biscuits, fish, fries, turovers, tots, french bread pizza, homemade donuts, bacon and the list goes on. Especially good for snacks (grandkids) you would normally do in an oven like taquitos, pizza rolls, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders only much faster. Add a silicone baking dish and you expand the possibilities even more. The Cosori heats up quickly, is easy to clean and the two-piece basket is big enough to cook for 2-3 adults. I can have a meal on the table in under 20 minutes and they are delicious. I rarely give 5 stars across the board for any product but after 6 months, I’ve used the Cosori Air Fryer to do everything I needed it to do. I would highly recommend this product.

    I Dragged My Feet …

… on the air fryer “craze”; I found it annoying – one more way to be ridiculous about food. Catching a hot deal on this Cosori changed my mind completely. I like this air fryer better than a microwave; it doesn’t make damp pita bread out of pizza, bacon is a breeze, c’mon now with the nachos possibilities, and it’s fast (quick snacks for a room full of people fast). I am a Cosori convert – pleased with how it’s worth every inch of counter space it takes up and fills my foodie life with ease. I can’t even believe I’m saying this, but my friends were right; you won’t be sorry with this.

Got this to help me with grilled chicken/steaks during colder months…

I enjoy eating grilled chicken, steaks, brats. With colder temps in Wisconsin during winter was always unpleasant making these things with weather. I’ve grown to rely on this AirFryer more then I anticipated. Fits 2 decent Grilled chickens or Steaks at a time. Slightly wish it was bigger for Steak, as my daughter finally developed a taste for steak as well now. Cooks evenly and no issues with food drying out like I was worried about.

This is my first Air Fryer and I cannot believe I’ve lived without one of these for all my life. Very easy to use, cooks almost anything to protection! We’ve cooked pork chops, steak, and chicken and all have turned out tender, juicy, and delicious. Highly recommend Cosori.

You don’t know what you are missing

I just got this new air fryer to replace an older version that was gifted to me. Its even better than the previous version. The beeping and fan noises are quieter and it makes the best bacon in the world. In my opinion, the air fryer is the greatest appliance to hit the kitchen in my lifetime. It takes less energy than the oven, easier to clean, reasonably priced and sleek looking. Some of my personal favorite uses :- cooking up home style potates- bacon- toasting sandwiches- Chicken tenders- Egg / Vege rolls- Pot stickers – OMG- this thing was made for pot stickers.

    I love this airfryer

I had another air fryer before that I wasn’t a huge fan of because food would cling to the tray and the coating on the bottom started to chip away. I bought this one to replace the old one and man am I really blown away. This is much easier to use and clean than the previous one. It is also very quiet in comparison to my last one. They tray in big enough for all my cooking needs. I would def recommend you buy this one and stop looking anywhere else!

I love my air fryer. What a game changer. Only negative is it’s hard to clean and the NOISE

I love my air fryer. However, the beep it makes is soo loud. Then when the food is down it beeps loudly 2-3 times. I was honestly thrown off with how loud it is with the beeping. It’s pretty hard to clean depending on what you cook in it but it’s still manageable. My FAVORITE meals to make in here are any fish (tilapia, especially salmon is amazing in the air fryer) and chicken thighs. I make frozen food in it all of the time because it’s way quicker and less hot than the oven. When I first got this thing I didn’t use my oven for months. I used to spend so much time cooking things like chicken parm but in the air fryer it’s such a breeze. I look forward to nights i’m using the air fryer because it’s so much easier and quicker than a pan or oven. I even started to make baked potatoes in my air fryer and I was shocked at how good they are. I tried to make homemade french fries in it once but I prefer deep frying for those still. For frozen fries it’s amazing though. 10/10 purchase even if it is a pain to clean sometimes

    2 1/2 years of use.

I have owned the Cosori Pro LE 5.0 for 2 1/2 years and use it almost daily for scratch cooking…nothing pre-made or frozen. I LOVE it still. Super easy to clean, heats to 450*, takes up less counter space than many others, often cook in the drawer without the removeable crisper plate. I am not one to buy small appliances, but this has earned its keep and space on my limited kitchen counter….my KitchenAid commercial mixer has not even earned that right and I am a bread maker!

    Most Useful!

This cooker’s capabilities have proven well beyond my expectations. In the short time I have had it I have prepared fried and scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties, hamburgers, meat loaf, ham steaks, stuffed bell peppers, frozen dinners, baked sweet potatoes, roasted little potatoes, roasted tomatoes, baked apples and have reheated a variety of leftovers.Without any detailed record keeping or examination I feel healthier as a result of my experience.Despite my fears, I have found that no matter the dish, cleaning the fryer is easier than even a non=stick pan. Paper towels, soft sponge, water and perhaps a little dish soap are all that are needed.I look forward to experimenting with recipes I have never before tried and expec t similar success.

    Display Issue

Love everything about it except for the occasional delayed response from the display. Sometimes when we put the basket back in, the power light turns on but doesn’t work when we tap it, we replace the basket a few times and that seems to do the trick. Other than that, super easy to use, had it for about 6 months now with no other maintenance issues. Easy to clean and nothing sticks to the surface. Also pretty quiet for an airfryer. Volume is also not an issue for us.

    Best Air Fryer!

I own an older model Cosori air fryer that was purchased during the 2020 Covid lockdown and absolutely love it as I still use it quite often. I purchased this updated model for my store team and it’s perfect! The touch pad is much better on this model and requires only a slight touch to increase or decrease the temp and time. This is a 5 Star item for me and if/when my older model at home conks out I’ll be buying this new model for home. Go out and get this!

    First Impressions

Having only owned this air fryer for a couple weeks this review may be a bit pre-mature. However, the fryer seems to be an incredible value compared to others at much higher price points. It is loaded with features typically not offered for under $100 in more popular brand names and so far has exceeded my expectations.

    Works

Bought this to use in our rv. Works well and does not throw the breaker like the newer high watts would. I have used it several times for fish, chops, potatoes etc. Happy with my purchase. I have had no problem with the exterior becoming too hot.

    Cosori RULES!

I have 3 air fryers… well, 4 now that I have the Cosori. And I thought all air fryers were basically the same. I was wrong! I knew as soon as I unpackaged the Cosori that I was going to love it. Most air fryers have a basket with vents on the bottom and fin-like vents on the sides. NOT the Cosori! It simply has a “crisping plate” that sits on the bottom of the main pan, and you just place your food on that. Talk about life changing! Cleaning the oil and spice residue out of those side fin vents is a real mess. One of my old machines, it cleans fairly easily due to the way the vents are formed. Another one is a real bugger to clean, I have to use a non abrasive pad between each and every vent because for some reason, oils and food residue builds up there after each and every use. With my new Cosori, NO SIDE VENTS! All you do is remove the bottom crisping plate and wash in by hand OR in the dish washer! And the basket is what other fryers use to hold the vented basket, but with the crisper plate, all you need to clean is the basket and the plate. SUPER EASY!!! Another thing I love about this machine is the ease of use. It has the basic foods listed on top, just press a button and you’re good to go. Me, I like to adjust times to my own preferences, again, simple and easy to do at the push of a button. OH, and those buttons! One of my air fryers has easy to push buttons. But the other, larger fryers has wonky buttons. You have to completely clean your hands and dry them, and then try pushing the buttons. Sometimes it works, sometimes I’m left frustrated and clicking a button over and over before it will register. The Cosori buttons register my finger touch with even the lightest touch! LOVE IT! Instructions are good and complete, so even a first time air fryer user will feel like a pro after cooking their first meal. OH and I have to mention the noise level. This thing is so quiet compared to my other 3 fryers! My kitchen sits next to my family room, and when cooking I have to turn the sound way up on my TV to be able to hear it over the fryer. Not the Cosori, it is very quiet while in use! I am so very pleased with this purchase, I use my air fryers daily, sometimes for 2 meals a day, 7 days a week. All I want to know is COSORI, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE??? If you’re wondering which brand to buy, definitely try the Cosori, you won’t be sorry. Two thumbs up from me, and I wish I had 2 more hands so I could give it 4 thumbs up!

    A great deal

When my toaster oven that I had for years finally stopped working I was overwhelmed by the assortment of ovens on the market. I shopped around for a month trying to decide on the perfect oven and so afraid I would get stuck with another appliance on my counter that was just taking up space. This oven is amazing!!! It is so much more efficient to use rather than turn on my big oven when I am just cooking for myself. I love the fact that it is also an airfryer and dehydrator. I just cooked a roast in about half the time as my oven and it came out fantastic. I am glad I took the time to review all the different types of ovens on the market now and chose this one. I highly recommend

it vibrates during preheat and gets quiet after

I’ve had this air fryer for 3 months and used it several times a week! It’s the same size as my previous air fryer, but the way the basket is designed rectangular, makes it more practical and spacious inside. It includes the basket and removable crisping tray. It’s touchscreen is very easy to use and makes for a more stylish, modern touch on your countertop. I like the Shake Reminders feature.Evaluating the Air Fryer, we decided against a clear window as it can get really hot and dual baskets can take much longer. We just have 2 Air Fryers handy to use. We hand wash them after each use and had no issues.I observe that it vibrates during preheat and gets quiet after. We have 2 air fryers going at the same time, and this model seem louder. Overall, I still love it, does the job and I know you will too!

Cooks well and fits under my cabinets!

This unit is great. It heats up fast and the food cooks well. It cleans out easily and the tiny drip tray comes out without an issue. It doesn’t get super hot and it fit under my cabinets which was super important. I’d say it’s about the size of my food processor. Love it!

    Overall, not bad

Beautifull looking, start button is not as responsive, but very functional and good-looking air fryer. Works well. I hand wash it, not sure if it is a good idea to wash in the dishwasher. The cooking surface bubbled up from washing, so I use cooking paper over instead.

Chicken tastes better from air fryer

If I need a quick and easy protein fix.Preheat to 270 degrees F. Add the eggs and cook 15 minutes for hard-boiled eggs. No need to plunge in ice, since they peel right off for the perfect egg. For soft-boiled eggs, cook them for 10 minutes. For medium-boiled eggs cook for 12 minutesCook fish and meats to perfection. Especially chicken, if you prepare it right the air fryer gets it juicy, never dry. Fantastic for reheating leftovers; I add day old fries, blooming onion and steak all in the fryer basket and let it do its work. Fries and steak comes out as good as they can be, for sure better than the microwave.

Bought this after fracturing my femur

After I broke my leg, my physical therapist suggested an air fryer for safe and easy use— as I felt unsafe using the oven. It’s great not to heat up the house in summer too. This brand cooks well, it’s so easy! Once I got the hang of it, it’s been great to reheat, keep warm and cook. Looks nice on my countertop. Good basket size for one or two people. I use liners for easy clean up.

A Game-Changer in the Kitchen: My COSORI Air Fryer

I’ve recently purchased this COSORI Air Fryer on Black Friday and I must say, it has transformed my cooking habits. From the elegant design to the versatile cooking options, this device has impressed me in more than one way.DESIGN AND QUALITY: The first thing that struck me about this air fryer was its nice and sleek design. I love the matte/glossy black finish, and the backlit touch screen adds an appealing touch. When it’s off, the control elements are invisible, which I find very convenient.CLEAR DOCUMENTATION: It comes with easy-to-understand warranty documents, a recipe book, and a helpful quick reference guide. Everything is well-structured and easy to navigate, and gives you the idea that COSORI is a serious and customer-centered company.INITIAL EXPERIENCE: There was a faint smell of burning plastic at first, but it completely disappeared after the second use and never came back. This is quite common with new appliances and I found that it didn’t detract from the overall positive experience.CAPACITY AND COOKING RESULTS: For small quantities, I no longer use the oven. However its large capacity can handle significant portions, like one big chicken or one turkey. The fryer works well with minimal oil, and I’ve found using a spray bottle very effective. The food comes out crispy even with minimal oil use. I’ve cooked a variety of foods, and voila!, this is my experience:FRENCH FRIES – 380 F, 20 min, shake after 7 min – very crispy. Excellent if you coat them with cornstarch beforehand!HIBACHI-STYLE CHICKEN – 380 F, 15 min – very goodASIAN BEEF AND VEGGIES – 400 F, 10 min – very goodCHICKEN FAJITAS – 360 F, 20 min – perfectCHICKEN BREAST (1-inch pieces) – 380 F, 8 min – very tenderBUTTERED CHEESE TOAST – 360 F, 4 min – perfectly crunchyROASTED VEGGIES – 360 F, 6 min – bell peppers, onions, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, eggplants, brussel sproutsBACON – 400 F, 6 min – perfect texture for me, but bacon can be very subjectiveUSER-FRIENDLY FEATURES: A useful feature is that it alerts you with beeps to shake or turn the food, ensuring even cooking, and the basket reinsertion starts the cooking automatically. With a 1700W power capacity it cooks quickly and efficiently. The adjustable temperature range (170-400 F, or 75-205 C) and 12 preset functions cater to various cooking needs, from air-frying to baking to just heating the food from the fridge. These preset functions are freely programmable to your needs too. The preheat function is also quite useful, it allows you to warm the oven while preparing your food. And let’s not forget the design of the hot air jets: here the hot air exhaust on the back is split between the top and the sides, so that it minimizes grease stains coming from the back, a thoughtful design element that saves you additional cleaning time.ADDITIONAL FEATURES: If I can list just ONE feature that I find very useful and convenient, that many air fryer inexplicably don’t offer, it’s the viewing window combined with the interior light that let you check on your food without opening the basket. I just love it. You can just monitor the cooking through the window while you are preparing other food without having to wash your hands every time. This feature, combined with the reduced noise level (around 55 dB), makes the cooking process even more enjoyable. The light turns off automatically after 2 min.CONVENIENCE AND CUSTOMIZATION: The interface is intuitive, and the temperature rises quickly. The customizable preset keys and the ability to redefine temperature and time according to personal preference are great touches.CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE: The non-stick coating on the cooking drawer and ‘roasting tray’ makes cleaning almost effortless. I also use baking paper trays for mess-free cooking. The drawer and metal tray are also dishwasher safe, but I prefer using a soft sponge instead of the dishwasher to preserve their quality. If you cook just a small amount of food – an egg toast, some veggies, etc – with minimal oil use, you can just wipe it with a paper towel without even rinse it, and there will be no grease traces left behind. In conclusion, the COSORI Air Fryer is not just a visually appealing appliance; it’s a practical, versatile, and efficient addition to any kitchen. With its numerous cooking modes, ease of cleaning, and thoughtful design details, it offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their cooking experience.

COSORI Pro LE 5-Quart Air Fryer

As my title says, this is a review of the Pro LE 5-Quart fryer. It’s a bit frustrating how they bundle so many different products in one Amazon listing, so I want to be clear which one I’m actually reviewing. So, let’s go:First of all, I have no interest at all with the old-style COSORI fryers, with “the basket inside the pot” design. Oh, great, not only do I have one giant pot to try and wash and then maybe even squeeze into my dishwasher, but let’s have ANOTHER thing taking up my whole kitchen. No, the newer designs with the “crisper plate” design work far better for me. And thus, I decided to try this one. This isn’t my first air fryer, by any means, and not my first COSORI fryer, either. In fact, I want to give you a very quick comparison between the three (yes, three) COSORI fryers I have purchased recently. So, I will compare this fryer to the Lite 4-Quart Smart fryer and the Lite 2.1-Quart Mini fryer, which all have relatively similar designs.Other than their relative sizes, these have important differences in their control panels. So, let’s look into those:Pro LE 5-Quart fryer: Notably, this DOES NOT allow you to save your own preset settings, and it DOES NOT give you a count down in seconds during the last minute of cooking. Nope — it just sits there saying “1 minute” until it’s done.Lite 4-Quart Smart fryer: This DOES allow you to save your own preset settings, though two of the preset buttons have “multi-stage” settings, and my fryer DID NOT allow me to save any presets over those, even though my instructions booklet said I could do that. But it DOES have a seconds count-down during the final minute of cooking.Lite 2.1-Quart Mini fryer: This DOES allow you to save your own preset settings over ALL of the preset buttons, and it DOES have a seconds count-down during the final minute of cooking. But it DOES NOT have a SHAKE reminder, whatsoever. Now, let’s have a more involved look into each fryer:Lite 2.1-Quart Mini fryer: This is absolutely the quietest air fryer I think that anyone will ever have experienced. You almost can’t hear it running, at all. Yes, it’s small, but it’s not a “toy,” like I have found with some other small competitors. This will work just as well as any other COSORI fryer. It’s very light, and it operates up to 900 watts of power. You’ll find people who use them in motorhomes and RV’s tell their stories in reviews about it.Lite 4-Quart Smart fryer: I’m just not interested in the “smart” functions at all, but it’s there if you want it. In the end, “saving your own presets” also involves whether the original preset has a SHAKE reminder or not — so it gives you two presets that you can save your own settings over, including a SHAKE reminder. You can try to add a SHAKE reminder to a preset you’re trying to save that doesn’t have one originally, but it just won’t save that. So, if you want a SHAKE reminder in your perfect saved preset, you have two buttons that can do that. And that also goes the same with the Lite 2.1-Quart Mini fryer, which also gives you two buttons you can save your own preset over with a SHAKE reminder.Pro LE 5-Quart fryer: The lack of a seconds count-down during the last minute of cooking and the inability to save any presets of your own is a disappointment, but I wouldn’t consider either to be a deal-killer with this fryer. It’s probably quieter than the Lite 4-Quart Smart fryer but a bit louder than the Lite 2.1-Quart Mini fryer. When it comes to “what is the most inconvenient” — the lack of saving presets or the lack of a SHAKE reminder — I would definitely say that the lack of a SHAKE reminder is more inconvenient. I usually set a separate timer or check my watch and try to remember to shake the basket with the Lite 2.1-Quart Mini fryer, whereas the lack of an ability to save a preset with the Pro LE 5-Quart fryer just meant that I had to make a quick adjustment at the beginning, and I didn’t have to worry about it again. Again, neither of these are big deals, but that’s how I would describe the differences.Regarding size, of course you may or may not need a bigger or smaller fryer. The perspective I would add has to do with “portion size” — for instance, if you cook frozen french fries, just look at the portion size your package mentions. Usually, it will be 3 ounces. And if you have a food scale, by all means weigh up a whopping 3 ounces of french fries. That will barely cover the bottom of even the smallest air fryer basket. A bit of searching yielded some information that a “large size” fries at a fast food restaurant tends to be around 5 ounces, with a “small size” being about half as much, and a “medium size” somewhere in the middle. But still, even the Lite 2.1-Quart Mini fryer has plenty of room for those kinds of portions. It seems to me that the bigger basket sizes — for folks who will be only cooking for one — has a lot to do with foods that you will individually “pick up and flip over” instead of “shaking” the basket — and a bit of extra room makes a big difference with that kind of operation. It’s like how I made a grilled cheese sandwich in the Lite 2.1-Quart Mini fryer — and it was massively difficult to simply grab the sandwich in order to flip it over. A little bit of extra room really helps. In the end, if the Pro LE 5-Quart fryer had a seconds countdown during the final minute — or simply displayed seconds to begin with, all the time — and allowed you to save your own presets, I would consider it the best air fryer for my needs. My biggest beef with the Lite 4-Quart Smart fryer has to do with its crisper plate — which has two really quite large “finger holes” that raise up considerably above the rest of the plate. Speaking of a grilled cheese sandwich — it will NEVER lay flat on that plate, with those big obtrusions in the middle of the plate. Perhaps you just need to put it in the basket upside down, so you can have a flat cooking surface.Otherwise, I’ve been happy with COSORI fryers — they simply work, and seem to have better quality in terms of holding accurate temperatures, and technical issues like that. None of them have ever produced any kind of chemical smell, or have had any other issues you might read about with other brands. I recommend any of the three fryers I have mentioned here highly.

    Excellent Air Fryer for 2

I’ve owned a number of different brands of Air Fryers over the past 10 years and it has been very hit or miss. I moved into a smaller place recently and wanted a new Air Fryer that was better suited for smaller spaces and not take up too much counterspace. I searched long and hard and decided on this one. There is another version of this one that is slightly smaller and is WiFi enabled. I elected to go with this one since I could not think of a situation that I would want to control this unit remotely (although you can see the WiFi indicator on the touch screen, it doesn’t light up and there is no WiFi functionality in this unit. I assume the control panel on the WiFi version is exactly the same or they plan to make this one WiFi enable in the future as the reason for it being there.I’ve used it several times already to cook wings, fish, shrimp, and I even cooked a NY Strip in it (yep! I Air-Fried a steak… I know, I know… I said the same thing to myself that you are thinking while it was cooking), but to my surprise, using the preset worked like a charm. The steak was evenly cooked to a perfect medium well temp, just the way I like it. It was juicy, had a little char on the edges, tender and delicious (I cook a mean steak regardless). When I cooked the wings using the Chicken preset, I ended up adding additional time and increasing the temp since my previous experience with other Air Fryers indicated that the presets always undercook chicken, besides the fact that I like to flip them towards the end to ensure they are crispy all the around. The unit indicated 20 minutes @ 360 degrees. I changed it to 25 mins @390. At the end I flipped and added an additional 5 minutes for 10 wings and then after a total of 30 minutes Bam!!! Perfectly cooked chicken wings. I reduced the time by 5 minutes if I’m only cooking 5 wings or so. Pause at the 5 min remaining mark and flip. They come out just as crispy as if they were deep fried (non-battered wings) Now, 30 minutes is in no way faster than pan frying but waiting a little longer for healthier food is not a deal breaker in my book, especially if the food turns out good. The unit has a number of presets including one for Fries that alerts you when it’s time to flip. I have not used that preset yet but found the presets on every Air Fryer I have owned, to be hit or miss.Cleaning is a breeze. No, seriously, you cannot get any better than this. Simply let the unit cool. (DO NOT run it under water while it is hot, as it will warp the aluminum pan due to the rapidly changing temps which will also cause the Teflon coating to start to separate prematurely from the pan).Remove the crisper tray and run it under water or use the sprayer and then gently wipe it with a wet sponge or dish cloth using just warm/hot water or a mild soap. The rubber ends are removable, but I just leave them on and clean around them. Rinse the pan and wipe the same way. This is the easiest Air Fryer to clean. The non-stick surface, like all other Teflon based coating will deteriorate over time or improper care, therefore, use silicone, Teflon based or wooded utensils in it to avoid scratching the surfaces. It comes with no cookbook or any other accessories. There is an App that you can download that controls the Wifi version, but the App has dozens of recipes specific for use with both this model and the Wifi version. It has an actual on/off button where most units need to be unplugged (I unplug it anyway since I don’t trust touchscreen automated electronic panels which when defective can cut the unit on by itself). It has a timer and a preheat option. You can pause the unit, so you don’t have to reset the temp/time if you open it to check on your food allowing you to continue once you close it (major plus). The outside of the unit does “not” get hot. The fan ports the hot air out of the rear and has a built-in guard to ensure you have space behind it so that it is not flush up against the wall. There is a startup process when you first get the unit. Following the instructions, you basically run through each setting and a few presets to familiarize yourself with it. You’ll run preheat which will burn off and residual oils left from production. Unlike MANY of the others I have own or tried, there is no burning plastic odor when this thing is running. I had a different brand with an oven door and trays instead of a pan, that smelled like burning plastic that didn’t go away until I THREW it away.I chose this brand over so many others since I bought my daughter a previous model of the same brand. Since I have not heard a single complaint about it in 3 years’ time, I conclude that it is still running fine because she would not hesitate to call me and let me know how much she hates the piece of junk I bought for her for Christmas that one year.Overall, I am happy with this unit, although it did cut off prematurely once during cooking, but has since operated fine. I’ve had it less than 30 days but so far so good. It seems well thought out in the engineering department. While I should probably return for the one glitch, it has likely been resolved once the unit was unplugged and plugged back in.I highly recommend this unit if you are only cooking for 1-2 people. YMMV

    powerful with great features

This is a powerful fryer. Be prepared to dial down the preset temp settings and watch your food during first round of cooking. The preheat and shake features are very nice, – you can choose to use them or not. Shake reminder is great when you are multitasking and dont want to forget to flip the food. Clean up is a breeze – just soak with soapy water for few minutes – everything will come off. It is not too heavy for the size. I like that the basket locks in the body and you have to press release button to pull it out – you have to be intentional to interrupt the cooking. I can adjust the timer and temperature during the cooking cycle. Loved my crispy bacon and sausages. Great appliance.

    Customer Service Sucks!

I bought this in August and the latch holds the inner basket is not working properly as a result it does not close. Since it does not close, I cannot operate or turn on air fryer. I tried to reach to customer service they are so backed up as per their voice message and no one answers. If you give a toll-free, I expect somebody to answer. Based on the recalls they have, they are too busy to answer. This really is a big issue, if your airfryer parts are not working after 4 months. Not a good quality control. Needless to say, I won’t be buying or recommending Cosori to others. Please get your act together.Update: While their 800 customer support is not that great. Their email support and fixing the issue I encountered were just awesome and Timely. I really appreciate their prompt email responses. I recieved a new airfryer from Cosori, I could not be more happier, I am changing my rating to 5-stars.

    Love it!

I bought as a gift for my husband knowing I would have to teach him how to use it. I was not impressed with the small cook book that came with. Because of that I wanted to send it back. Before that happened, one morning I remembered we had some thawed bacon in the fridge. I put 4 slices in and cooked it up according to directions I found online. Pinterest is awesome for that! I decided right then it was a keeper! Since then I have used for sweet potatoe chips a few times and excited to try it more often! I am impressed with the heat containment and cleanliness of it. Cleans up easily and keeps any mess inside the unit. On a side note, the morning bacon took out my coffee outlet while brewing but my husband was able to fix.

third air fryer and first I’ve kept and used

This is the third air fryer I’ve tried and the only reason I decided to test the water again was because my stove is short a burner and I had nine people coming for dinner on Xmas. Now I use it all the time since it roasts or fries vegetables and meats in so much less time than screwing around with my oven even on convection. Now I just need to clean out my pantry of other stuff I don’t use so that it has a place to live when not in use.

Great airfryer – easy controls, easy cleanup, delicious crispy food

For its capacity (4 qts), it has a fairly small footprint and the sleek design makes it less obtrusive than some other airfryers of the same capacity. I can easily fry 6 drumsticks or 4 medium chicken thighs and the skin comes up crispy each time. The pre-set cooking options work pretty well, and you can easily adjust the temp/time up and down to your liking. The controls are super intuitive, no mystery to any of them. I like the “shake” reminder too. Clean-up is super easy, I’ve been using disposable paper liners so even after about 10 uses (with a light rinse in between), the basket looks like it’s brand spanking new. So far I’ve cooked homemade fries and roasted vegetables (in rendered chicken fat after making fried chicken), and fried chicken (dry rub) and these have turned out pretty well – the fried chicken is the most successful dish so far. I haven’t figured out how to make good homemade wet-battered / breaded chicken cutlets yet though. I also haven’t figured out how to make the bluetooth connection with the Alexa in our kitchen, but have monitored the cooking status of the airfryer using the app remotely – so that’s been a more useful feature than the former.

    Good simple air fryer

This air fryer is the perfect size, 5 quart capacity. It doesn’t take up a lot of counter space, and it’s very easy to clean. The controls are easy to use. I especially like the presets; they are the perfect temperature and time for whatever you’re cooking. I have made steak, chicken, seafood, and pork chops and everything has come out perfect. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend Cosori to anyone who is looking to purchase this type of appliance.

    So Easy to Use

Up until I got this item, I had been using foil under the basket to keep cleaning minimal, but with these liners, I have almost little to no cleanup.

Pro LE 5 Quart for Two

I’ve been using my new air fryer for almost two weeks. It is a great size for a father and his hungry son! It cooks great, not overly loud, and the controls are easy to understand and read. I also love that I don’t have to thaw out certain foods before baking them in the over. I now use our air flyer. Also, it is so easy to clean! Well done Cosori!

    Great air fryer

I got this air fryer to replace an aging worn one of a different brand that I’ve owned for several years. It works as good if not better than my previous one. I like the square vs round basket, and the coating on this one is so much better. It’s easy to clean, and while the basket is slightly larger than my previous one, the overall unit is smaller and looks good on my countertop. The easy-to-follow instructions and the touch controls on the Cosori are pluses. I consider the recipe booklet that comes with this air fryer to be a minus. The recipes are not ones that I think most people would use, but that’s the least important to me as I search for most recipes online. The fact that this unit heats well, the controls work well, and it’s easy to clean is what is most important. This is a well-made air fryer and I think it will last quite a while.

Easy to use but should have more features – COSORI Air Fryer Pro LE

The COSORI Air Fryer Pro LE is a great air fryer. It gets up to the pre-heat temperature quickly and does a good job cooking evenly. This was our first air fryer and we have been using is almost daily if not more than once per day. Beyond the obvious like french fries and chicken nuggets, we’ve used it to make pizza, garlic bread, cook brats, veggies, and more. We also use it to toast bagels and warm up donuts. Everything is delicious, but it does take some learning to get good at estimating the correct time and temperature. The fryer basket with the crisping grid inserted is approx 3 5/8″ deep (to the top of the basket) by 8 1/2 wide. It has a non-stick coating which so far has been easy to clean. We’ve been careful to not use any metal utensils to avoid scratching the coating. The touchpad is very responsive and can either be tapped or long pressed when changing temperature and time. The pause button is nice to check how items are cooking. Some quibbles: There are no user presets, so every time it’s turned on it resets to the default time/temp. We don’t really use the included preset modes much – chicken, frozen, steak, etc – as they all tend to overcook the food in our experience. Having those to be user configurable would be nice. The preheat mode can be set for desired temperature but then shuts off when it’s reached – requiring the temperature to be set again for cooking. Also, it would be nice if there was a way to control the beeping volume and even disable the beeps when using the touchpad – everything makes it beep which gets minorly annoying. Finally, when the fry basket is pulled out, the touchpad is disabled (which makes sense) however I’ve learned I have to wait until it beeps and the power light comes on again after the basket is inserted before trying to use the touchpad. Pressing for example the power button immediately after inserting can sometime cause the touchpad to lock up requiring the unit to be unplugged to reset it.Overall this a nice air fryer with an easy to clean finish including the glass touchpad on the top. Considering the quibbles, if I were to go back in time knowing what I know now I would likely look for one with more user configurability. However we are very happy with the Cosori Pro LE and have no plans to replace it.

    Great, efficient cleanup

After reading reviews, I thought I’d better try using the liners with my new air fryer. Good move. It collects oil and keeps the fryer cleaner.
