Adjustable AND Adhesive
This unit is very adjustable and the adhesive aspect of the suction portion is very good. I used on the windshield but am confident it would do very well on a smooth dash surface as well. Magnet is very strong!! Nice product for the price.

Post-6 months, holding up and sturdy
Simple design and sturdy. Should hold up forever, as long as you don’t wear the screws for tightening.Was not as long as I expected especially with my dashboard design (has a fold up dash storage that I have to account for clearance), but the design of mount makes gives it flexibility when you are positioning it.

Works Great Minus the Bouncing
The Mount is very good court holding the phone. So good one of my MagSafe magnets on my phone case was pulled off and still attached the car mount. I haven’t had any issues with the phone falling off. My only gripe is the constant movement of the phone while attached to the car mount. It does bounce quit a bit. But over all it does the job it’s intended to do.

Really enjoying mines. And super easy to align with the screen. Love how it swivels for left and top positioning. The material is great and blends well with the car interior. Comes with extra pads and a tutorial video. Def recommend for your Tesla!

Looks and feels like a OEM part!
The designers of the ESR Magnetic Mount for Tesla really thought out the design of the mount and provided a template to ensure that it looks and fits right. It down right feels like it should be a OEM part! I was going to mount it on the left side of the screen per the instructions, but ultimately I decided to mount it on the right side so that my phone would be a little easier to get to. The magnetic mount is pretty strong, and with passing over a few bumps in the road and speedbumps, my iPhone 15 stayed in its place. I usually don’t really need to charge my phone in my Tesla and I like having the phone upfront.

Best Car Mount Ever!
I love the build quality first and foremost. I really didn’t expect it to be as sturdy as it is. The magnets are strong enough to work through the Otterbox Commuter case a/magsafe that I have for my IPhone 15 Pro Max. I’ve already used it for a trip to breakfast and it stayed firmly stuck to my windshield. What more could you ask for out of a product. You guys just got yourselves a new customer 👍🏿👍🏿

Meant for newer Teslas
This is a strong robust MagSafe phone mount that holds your phone very securely. It won’t really work for older Teslas with a flush screen and alcantara head liner as the adhesive has nowhere to stick. That being said, it can pretty much stick to any flat, smooth surface, so doesn’t even need to be used in a Tesla.

Great for a Toyota Corolla Too!
I bought this to use with my new 2023 Toyota Corolla because it too has a build in touch screen display in the dash like a Tesla just not as big. I Simply aligned it on my display with how I wanted my phone to sit next to the display. I also replaced the MagSafe magnet with one from my other car mount that works better with my phone and case. Once installed it cleaned up my dash and keeps my phone directly in my line of sight so I can see my phone and use it without turning my head away. This is especially great for doing my side job, Uber. All in all, if you have a new Toyota Corolla and are looking for a great way to hold your phone without ruining your dash, this is the answer!!!

Provide a stronger double-sided tape
I was excited about this mount because it allowed me to have my iPhone 14 ProMax in front of me as I drove rideshare. On the second day, I took my phone off the magnet and the whole mount came off from the back of my car monitor.If it happens again, I might have to replace the 3M double-sided tape with something stronger, like Gorilla glue double-sided tape. Otherwise, I would give this product five stars for the material and concept. I hope the company uses stronger tape for future manucturing.

Did not work for me
I could not get the product to stick to my dashboard. My car was new purchased 1 day prior with 80 miles. I don’t know if I had a defective unit or not. The magsafe magnet was strong though.

It’s Like The Gorilla Glue of Car Phone Mounts!!!
This phone mount is amazing! The magnet is super strong. You don’t need to worry about it falling off or losing position. And I’ve been down some bumpy roads with it and no problems whatsoever. I like it so much I decided to order the wireless charging one to see how it goes.

I will itemize the review.Usability: excellent usability in vertical mode above the screen. If you use it horizontally, your Tesla steering wheel will block the view of the phone. If you turn it up above the touch screen phone can be viewed easily.Affordability: with coupon saving roughly about 25 plus or minus two dollars is good price.Durability: seems well made with quality plastic and durable mount.I will recommend it to everyone as above the screen mount.

Perfection
This magnetic phone holder is absolutely perfect. I drive an explorer platinum and it attaches perfectly to the back of my screen. My phone does not fallOff!! I’ve had the one where every bump the phone flies or randomly just slides off. This magnet is so strong I literally need both hands to get my phone off Yet I can still easily swivel my phone around. I’m not sure how well the sticky label will stay attached (I’m worried once it gets hot it will turn loose) but honestly as much as I love it I will just keep reapplying 3m stickers

This ESR HaloLock car mount lives up to its name, when you engage your phone with the mount it is absolutely LOCKED in!!!! For reference I have an IPhone 15 pro max in a clear MagSafe case and I had to use two hands and exert some force to disengage my phone from the mount, no way this thing is coming loose or falling off on even the roughest roads! Also the mechanism to attach to the car air vent is simple and secure. Very happy with this purchase highly recommended!

This is a great mount that is very sturdy and well built, and can be used on any car (I am using with my Kia Soul 2022) with about a square inch of open space to stick it to. Holds it’s position well (able to be adjusted to most any needed arm position needed), and holds my iPhone securely. Very pleased with this mount.

magnet too strong
nicely built. seems sturdy. nice mounting system (comes with a guide). one issue – i’ve mounted mine to the back of the tesla display. there’s a sticker on the OTHER side that’s kind of ugly – not sure what it’s there for (instructions don’t seem to explain) – perhaps there as a dash-mount option? main problem – magnet to attach phone is WAY TOO STRONG. when you remove the phone the entire bracket pulls out of adjustment, so you must re-adjust the phone when you want to use it again. you can try to use 2-hands to remove your phone but it’s tough as there is not easy place to grab the bracket.

Not bad, a little bulky
It took me a little while to get all the articulations on this phone holder adjusted to suit me. But once I did, it has stayed in position. My only real complaint is that it’s just so big. Takes up a lot of real estate in front of my face in the car. But I’ve gotten used to it and I think I’ll keep it. The magnet is good and strong and snaps to my iphone 13 and its MagSafe case really well. The suction/sticky pad is holding on to my car’s nubbly dashboard surface and hasn’t come loose yet in the 3-4 weeks I’ve had it.

I have this on the windshield of a dump truck so I can see my maps easily. I spend a lot of time on very rough roads so it gets put to the test daily. I have a hard getting my phone off the mount the magnet works so good! Definitely recommend if you need something stuck in place!

BEST Magnetic Dashboard/Windshield Mount!

This HaloLock phone mount can be mounted on your dashboard or windshield. It took less than a minute for me to mount it on my windshield. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes. I would recommend overnight if you’re in no hurry. It has a rollerball pivot head that allows you infinite adjusting of the viewing angle. There are two adjustable turn screw handles for additional angle placement and extension adjustments. It comes with a reusable adhesive suction cup if you decide to move it again and again, simply wash, air dry and repeat. I have a MagSafe compatible Otterbox case on my iPhone 15 Pro which works wonderfully with this mount. The magnet is just right! Strong enough to keep your phone attached during a rough ride, yet easy enough to detach as needed. Since this is not a wireless charger, I simply attach my charging cord. Easy peasy, love this mount!

Easy, very movable AND STRONG!
I finally have an iphone with the ability to use Mag safe attachments and this car mount is as strong as you would ever want. I even make sure to hold it when pulling off the phone, worried about it dislodging the stuck on part on the back of the nav monitor. You can move it up and down and sideways super easily and it articulates forward and backward. I generally leave my phone in the vertical position when using WAZE etc as the app just looks better vertical. The ESR Dashboard Magnetic Car Mount allows you to pivot it forward far enough the phone can be in front of the monitor, overhanging, on top of it or behind it. Quality and half as expensive as another one the grabbed the side of the phone and didn’t work as well, nor hide away.

Great for windshield or flat dashboard
My dashboard it a bit rounded, so I wasn’t able to get the suction cup to stick well enough. It does work great on my windshield though! Also think it would be good for a flat dashboard.
