    Great spoon

    I use it to scoop out bacon pieces from the skillet. It doesn’t melt and is dishwasher safe. I like the long length too.

    Nice Spoon and Good Price

    All my kitchen gadgets are mainly Farberware and this was a nice addition. It is a nice plastic spoon and the rounded deep shape makes it much more useful than regular plastic spoons. The price is also right on for this product.

    I finally learned how to make boiled eggs

    After years of struggling with egg shells getting stuck to my hard boiled eggs, I finally learned the method of boiling the water first, then putting the eggs into boiling water for 10-15 minutes, then immediately into cold / ice water to quickly cool. Finally I can peel my eggs easily. This slotted spoon comes in very handy for transferring eggs back and forth on both steps. It’s a good quality spoon, and it probably has other uses, but I’m still amazed at being able to enjoy hard boiled eggs instead of shells with some egg on them. 🙂

    This is exactly what you need in a slotted spoon! It’s super sturdy without being bulky. Doesn’t accumulate and drip water from being in the dishwasher. The handle is made from a solid piece, no accumulation of food or residue, easy to clean. It’s a great kitchen tool!

    Scratch proof!

    I use this with all the non-stick cookware I have so there is no scratching…..on either side! It is strong enough to lift heavy foods, too, besides allowing drainage.

    Versatile cooking/serving spoon

    Why didn’t I get one of these before now? I have been using slotted metal spoons in my nonstick cookpans, and the nylon product would have been friendlier to the pans. The spoon’s size is just about right to get a single moderate serving. I use it often to dip blanched veggies or cooked ravioli out of boiling water. Would recommend to others.

    Great for poached eggs

    I bought this spoon for poached eggs, because my flat slotted spoon was hard to maneuver without breaking the yolk. The size and shape of this spoon are perfect. But it’s best to clean the spoon as soon as possible: the egg white sticks. (Note: I don’t have a dishwasher, so I’m talking about manually scrubbing it.)

    Worked great for soap making

    I am sure this spoon would be wonderful for basic kitchen duties. We used this to stir Lye into our goat milk for soap making and it did a fantastic job. Sturdy, long handle and a nicely wide slotted spoon. I would buy another one for food use if needed. Decent price and feels like it is quality. Would recommend.

    Basic, good for the price

    Bought to replace a 20-yo plastic slotted spoon which was falling apart. Don’t use it that often, so didn’t want to spend much $. This fit the bill perfectly: a little flimsy, but gets the job done at a very reasonable price and easy to clean. If this is a go-to utensil for you, I would get something a little sturdier, but for occasional use, it’s great.
