    Straightforward jacket for newborns

I got these for my 2nd newborn (born 7lbs), and he used these for a few weeks then outgrew them. They are thin but held up well in the wash. I like these types of jackets over mittens because they don’t leave elastic marks on the wrists and don’t get lost in the wash. Both my babies wore jackets when first liberated from the womb. Useful product for new moms.

    Must have for newborns

We have not used the shirts yet..they are perfect for newborns and the first few months because of the ease of having the snaps…you do not have to pull a shirt over the baby’s head. They are easy to use when the umbilical cord stem is still attached. The baby had come home with one snap shirt from the hospital.

    Good but thin

My newborn lived in these shirts until they didn’t fit him anymore or until they shrunk. Not sure which one came first. They are solid shirts and I love the mit function, but they are very thin.

    Great for new baby

There is a reason the hospitals use these! They are easy to put on our new baby, comfy, and warm. We keep our 2 week old son in this shirt and swaddle when at home.

    Great purchase for newborn!!

These shirts are perfect for our newborn! The hospital nurses used ’em under his swaddle and before we even left the hospital, I ordered these to do the same. Perfect fit and so helpful under the swaddle! Highly recommend!

    Highly recommend!

One thing as a new parent, I didn’t realize that babies scratch themselves. Having these shirts is so helpful! I returned all the shirts without the little mittens. They are also nice to have in different colors so you can put them on under outfits. Don’t buy too many all at once as the kids grow way too fast at this point.

    Short torso

These are nice quality but were very short on my son. He is a longer baby, but these were like silly little belly shirts on him, and significantly shorter than the carters snap-ups. If your baby is long, I wouldn’t recommend these. However, if your baby is on the smaller side in terms of height, these might work well. The snaps were well placed and it was nice not having to pull it over his head.

    Size issue

These are incredibly small. I purchased a newborn size, not a premature size, for my premature baby weighing 5.5lbs. They were very small and short – only covered half the belly! Make sure to choose “try on” option or look into other options,

Really needed these before my newborn arrived. I received the shirts on time but got (5) newborn and (1) 0-3 months when I ordered 0-3 month shirts. They were also stained.

Great to wear under sleep & play onesies for added warmth

These have a great amount of stretch fo them so it’s easy to put on your baby. The snaps and style also make it easy and versatile. I use it as an undershirt for looser outfits to keep the baby warm during diaper changes. It does shrink a bit after washing.

These are a lifesaver for newborns with an umbilical stump

We got the first of these while we were in the hospital when our baby was born, they were in the care cart with the diapers. The crossover design works beautifully to not irritate the umbilical stump and the fold-over mittens on the end of the sleeves keeps those sharp baby fingernails from being able to scratch anything while still letting the baby self-soothe by chewing on their hands. They’re soft and pretty sturdy, ours have held up to both boiled water sterilization and bleach washing. Highly recommend putting these in a hospital baby bag for expecting mums in case your hospital doesn’t have them to hand. These would also make a great baby shower gift item. The fold over mitten ends of the shirt work much better than standalone mittens because they can’t get lost.

Fit as expected – protects his face from razor sharp talons!

I bought these for my newborn son, 8 pounds 12 ounces at 20 3/4 inches long. These fit as expected, a tad loose and long after washing and drying, which is great, he can wear them for a little while.I had initially bought these because the hospital has a very similar style, and I realized all his cloths basically buttoned under the diaper, putting additional pressure on his umbilical stump. Of course these arrived, I washed them immediately and put 1 on the next day, and his umbilical cord fell off.. No more need to have a tummy shirt! But I will continue to use them, as the sleeves fold over and protect his razor sharp talons from scratching his precious face. Overall pleased with this purchase. They fold in and snap once on the inside fold, then the outer fold snaps twice. Good quality shirt and a good price. If you have a small or preterm baby you might want to consider going for the newborn size instead of the 0-3. If you had a full term baby who is average you should just get this 0-3 size otherwise you might get to wear them once before they outgrow them, just my opinion. I would purchase these again if I had another child and couldn’t find this set.

    Needs stretch

I must be the only person who has trouble squeezing my baby’s cute little chubby hands through the wrists of these – they are so tight around the cuff and don’t stretch at all! Luckily, I am not above pre-stretching it out myself, even if I bust a few seams in the process. Otherwise, these are great and I highly recommend them.

    Buy a size up

These shirts are a staple for the newborn stage. However recommend buying one size larger than what you need as material significantly shrinks after just one wash. I had purchased newborn size and after washing once they looked preemie size and were too small for my newborn; I bought 0-3 month and again they shrunk to moreso newborn size (cold wash, delicate cycle and low delicate dryer). The baby is 7 weeks old and has essentially outgrown the shirts already. So recommend buying 1 to 2 sizes larger if you want to get decent use.

    Worked for us

I really like these to put on my baby at night when she wears her sleep sack to keep her arms warm. Fit is a bit on the smaller side. Love them but my only complaint is that the sleeve openings are quite small. She would get very frustrated trying to slip her hands through. I ended up cutting the openings of all of them to allow for easier putting on. We don’t care because they are just for Jammie’s at our house but something for others to consider. Was a good value and don’t regret purchasing.

    Long sleeves under swaddle

I got these for my new grandbaby to wear under her sleeveless sleep sack and swaddles. It’s nice to have her arms covered and to not have to pull a shirt on over her head, since it snaps in front.

    Adorable!

These are perfect for waiting for that belt button nub to fall off, but even afterwards I loved them! It was easier to change those constant baby diapers and easier to change their shirts when they spit up vs shoving their soft newborn heads through a tiny hole!

    Gets the job done

These were okay. They got the job done until they longer fit on my little ones arms. Baby is still in the size range for these and fits the rest of baby but the arm and wrist area got super tight quickly. We ended up putting these ones away and buying honest baby clothing kimono tops instead and baby and us love them

    Love this shirt!

Absolutely love this shirt for my newborn, she is now about 10 pounds and 3ish weeks old and the shirt still fits her comfortably. It’s our go to undershirt too under the swaddle since it’s not too hot. Easy to get on and off her, let her belly button cord breathe and washes well. Love this shirt!

Buy the next size up than you need

We used this for our newborn to save his face from his sharp nails. Giving 4 stars because the shirts shrunk after one washing so we didn’t get to use them as long as we needed. When buying these, go up a size.

Not like the hospital shirts, The arms are to skinny

Why did they make the fabric stiff and too skinny in the arms? Diss appointed. I thought I was getting the shirts like the one she had in the hospital but not quite. The little arms are so skinny it’s impossible to get on. I don’t use it

    Must have basic for newborn

We got 0-3Mfor a 7lb newborn. It fits much better than the NB size. The snaps make changing easier than a pullover. The material is cotton, not super soft but not rough either. Standard, just a great basic to have. Belly might be a bit exposed because they are not long.

    Short with narrow arm holds

I got these for my 4lb 13 oz preemie while in the NICU. Glad I didn’t get them for a newborn. They actually fit him in the arm holds and waist length. He was 18” so maybe he is long but surely too short for an average sized newborn. Perfect for me but not for the average buyer so one star off.

Staple in our house for newborn stage

We love these for the newborn stage! We’ve used them with all 3 of our kiddos and recommend them to others when asked.Nice to be able to have the long sleeves with the hand covering, but easier for changing than onesies. We would put them in these and then either a sleep sack at night, or a swaddle blanket during the day. We only wish they came in bigger sizes! Our babies start out average size, but grow out of these within the first month. The price is great, and they are easy to dye if you want to customize them if you like. They are on the smaller size, so if you know your baby will be about average weight when born, skip the newborn size.

I like everything except it’s too short to cover tummy well

My baby weighed 7.4lbs and the size 0-3months fitted right from the beginning except for the arm length which was too long in the beginning but wasn’t a problem. I’m glad I didn’t buy newborn size as these run too small in my opinion. At seven weeks, I stopped using them because these don’t cover his body as much as I like for the winter months. They are too short in length and his lower tummy area is exposed which was a good idea for the first few weeks until his umbilical cord dried up but now coverage is more important so I don’t use them as much.

    Perfect for newborns

I bought these because they’re similar to the ones at the hospital and easy on the umbilical cord. My baby was 7lbs, this one fits without the filling of squeezing my baby into it. I didn’t go for the small size, I went for the bigger size. Even the one at the hospital was labeled 6mos. And it was bigger than this one.
