Great hair bands

Perfect
I have tried so many different rubber bands for many different hairstyles, including box braids, and passion twist. These are the only rubber bands that actually hold and never snapped on me not once. Although some of the rubber bands are different sizes, which can be annoying, but it’s not a big deal.

Buy them now
I’ve been using clear bands for years, they tangle your hair and snap randomly throughout the day, so I always had to put multiple in my hair just in case. That is not the case with these. There’s definitely still a bit of hair tangling, but I have yet to snap one! And can REUSE them 🤯 plus, they hold well!

Good value
Good value for money. You get a lot in a pack. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because they’re hard to get out of your hair. I was partly expecting that and usually just cut them out BUT these are re-useable and thick. Which makes me not want to cut them lol

Not stretchy
I don’t know why I thought these would have stretch to them. They do have little wedges on the inside that help them stay on and feel really strong. My hair is thick and straight, and I’ve lost a couple if I’m wearing them low.

Durable! The best!
I’ve tried so many rubber bands and these are the only ones that actually hold up! My go to rubber band for styling my little girls hair. Love that it comes in different styles and that is is clear!

Amazing!
I wasn’t expecting them to be so sturdy and good quality for elastics I’m using these to braid in dreadlock extensions and I really don’t think I’ll have to worry about them slipping or breaking they’re thicker than the normal elastic and a little bit larger too but I think they’re perfect!

Little ones useless
Larger bands are fine – good quality and useful. Smaller bands are too stiff to use – not enough elasticity, totally useless.

Love the size options!
This is great to have as part of your hair accessories collection with the different size options! I have very fine hair so regular hair ties do not work for me when I am doing a small braid or partial updo. I need something smaller with grip to prevent slippage and these are perfect for that. Plus they are clear so you can’t really see them in your hair.

Stretchy and Don’t Break!
These are great. I bought a different brand of clear elastics and they would break very easily. It was infuriating. So I got these instead and they last way longer. They also don’t get tangled in my hair.

Strong and reusable
I love these elastics!! They are strong and reusable over and over again. They do not catch in your hair either. The small are quite difficult to use though, I haven’t figured out a use for them yet since they are very tiny. I still recommend them. I’ve bought them three times now.

Goody brand = consistent value and quality
The large and medium size ties are terrific for my fine hair to be braided without “falling out,” or to have a few mini topsy-tails from my crown down to the base of my neck.The micro size tie is smaller than the tip of my pinky finger…will pass them along to my friend’s little girl.I don’t have great fine-motor skills, but can manage to loop once or twice as needed. There’s just enough stretch and hold; and they are STRONG!A rat-tail comb helps with removal…I’ve found that loosening the loops is the easiest way to remove them from my hair. If I drove with the windows down and my style is mussed, I may have to use cuticle scissors to snip one out.There are cheaper versions available, but my money and time are more valuable.

Great for Braids and Ponytails!
These clear plastic elastic bands are great! I have fine, blonde hair that is just below my shoulders. I use the largest band if I’m wearing my hair in a ponytail and it is large enough to double it for a secure ponytail. I love that the elastic band seems to “disappear” since it’s clear so if I’m going someplace nice it’s a chic way to “dress up” a ponytail. I personally don’t use the middle size much, but if my hair was a different thickness/length I can imagine that the middle size would be useful. Since my hair is so baby fine, I mostly use the smallest size bands. I braid my hair very often (practically daily) and the smallest band is perfect for me. I use the smallest band for side braids, french braids, ponytail braids, pigtail braids, fishtail braids…you name the braid and I’m using the small size band! It’s very secure (I always double it) but it’s not so tight that it’s impossible to get out. I’ve used lots of bands that pinch and pull your hair when you’re trying to remove them and these are nothing like those. They are easy to remove and do not damage my fine hair.These clear bands were recently out-of-stock on Amazon so I was forced to purchase some clear bands from the local drugstore instead. This is when I realized how amazing the Goody Classic Polybands are compared to other clear bands. The bands that I purchased from the drugstore were also the Goody brand, but they were not this specific packaging. I purchased a package of just the small size (since that’s the size I use everyday) and it was a total nightmare. The bands were so rigid and tight that I couldn’t even get my fingertips inside them to open them up to use. Luckily, the Classic Polybands became available again on Amazon so I was able to order them again (and that’s what spurred me to right this review!). In fact, I love this particular style of band so much that I’ve added it to my monthly subscribe and save order. 🙂

Use the smallest one wrap around the spring part of my glasses to tighten them.
These are worthless to use in the hair. Not flexible and hard to pull out once you get them in. I use them for other things. My readers kept falling down my nose to I slide the smallest one to the spring area and viola, it tightened them! I’ll have this pack longer that my great great great great grandchild tho…

I just needed 10 but 150 count works too
It’s hard finding a low count of these poly bands. I don’t need 1000 but 150 will work. These are great bands and do what you need them to do for hairstyling. I’m glad Goody makes a smaller quantity. I’ll have these until my death.

Works well!
I use these to do braids in my hair, I have rather thick hair and they hold up well. I only use them once because when I take it out of my hair it pulls some of my hair and gets bent out of shape. So not environmentally conscious but works well all day. Sometimes I wear them asleep and sometimes they break when lying down.

I use these for my 3 year old. They are durable and I like them overall. The only downside is the smallest size in the package seems really ridiculously small. Like… I have no idea what you would use them for. But the other sizes are great and I use them multiple times before they wear out. They tend to come out pretty easy and don’t tangle in her hair normally. I like them minus the whole section of bands that I don’t know what to do with.

The Size of the Clear Elastic Bands
Figuring out the size of the 3 elastic bands: I’ve given the 3 clear elastic bands the names Large, Intermediate and Small. It is easiest to talk about the size of these clear elastic bands in terms of circumference, which is the distance around the outside edge of a circle. The largest of the 3 bands has the same circumference as a US quarter, i.e., this Large clear elastic band will fit around the outside edge of a quarter. The Intermediate size band will fit around the outside edge of a dime. I did not attempt to figure out the circumference of the smallest band. If you are interested in Diameter, the quarter has a diameter of 0.955 inch (24.26 mm). The dime is 0.705 inches (17.91 millimeters) in diameter.
