Comfy
It can get moldy really easy so you have to disinfect it often. It’s very comfy. It slides around when the water rises up to it. But it works alright.

Doesn’t last
I take several baths a week, purchased this less than a year ago. A couple of months ago the pillow started popping up out of the water every time I leaned forward. I was very careful after each bath to carefully unstick each suction cup and didn’t pull on them. I also rinsed and wiped down the pillow after every use. The suction cups have become too stiff to hold enough suction to keep the pillow where I need it anymore.

It works well enough
The bottom constantly comes unstuck and just floats to the top if I’m not leaning on it and it slides all over without staying in place very well when it is stuck. It’s reasonably comfortable and is good enough, just nothing that’s really amazing.

Just what I was looking for
This bath pillow is awesome. I wanted a waterproof bath pillow after my experience with the last one I had. It started smelling bad no matter how many times I washed it and no matter what I washed it with. This bath pillow is low maintenance and offers the comfort I was looking for. the suction cups work best if you apply them before filling the bath with water but they work well regardless.

Will not smell musty
Previous bath pillows were made of a cloth so got the musty smell. This is more of a plastic material. I leave it attached all the time as it doesn’t have to dry out like others. Four stars as it could be thicker for more comfort. Plastic I can deal with which is a negative vs the musty smell.

Decent bath pillow
I bought this pillow to replace a similar pillow I’ve had a few years and the seams popped and water leaked in. The top pillow part of this new bath pillow is smaller than my old one. I liked the larger size of my old one better. However, the foam on the new pillow is softer and more comfortable on my back. My tub is a 1965 cast iron version, so I definitely need a pillow while soaking. I might try for a larger overall pillow next time I purchase.

Bath time is better now.
I went through a good many trials with many different bath pillows and this one finally hit the mark. Easy to install,doesn’t seem to slip down while using it and the material is soft and waterproof. I’m still too short for the tub and slip under the water on occasion BUT this little guy helps make my bath time more comfortable.

It works
It fit our garden tub, which is the most important thing. Another pillow we bought didn’t like being placed at the end where the tub curves around. It’s got a nice appearance. Can easily be removed when desired and has strong enough suction that it doesn’t move when in use. It also doesn’t make squeaking sounds like some tub pillows make.

This is a gift
I bought this for my retired Special Forces (disabled) son who likes to soak in a jacuzzi and when he saw it he said, “This is just what I need.” If it turns out not to work, I’ll let you know. But I think it will enhance his soaking comfort.

Works for me
Just what I was looking for. I have a 5 or six inch space behind my tub and putting my head on the tile was uncomfortable. This fits perfectly over that area and the lower part provides good back support. I wont say it has a strong suction but it does stay in place on the tile and in the tub through the bathing process. Not sure I can ask for more. I just wet the cups per the instructions and then I press them firmly into place. My only wish is that it had a hook for hanging. That said, I tried something novel. I used the suction cups to hand it on the outside of the tub and so far, it’s working. I tug on it and it stays in place. But I hope the makers will put a hook on it and I’ll purchase another one.

Home-spa essential
I bought this for my parents as a gift to make their bathtub more like a spa. This would help make it actually comfortable to lay back with your head on the edge of the tub. They liked it and have kept it on their bathtub for years. It arrived complete and was easy to attach to the edge of the tup. The grip has lasted for years and the cushioning has not torn.

Clean and comfortable
So far so good. I’ve had this about a month and take a lot of baths. It stays clean and is pretty comfortable in the bath. I love taking baths too. Its not super soft but is more comfortable then the blow up ones or nothing at all.

Just OK
I have an oval soaker tub that abuts the shower wall behind me. It’s slanted, a curved surface, and not comfy to lean back in. Plus, your head rests on stone. This pillow *looked* like my old one (covered in pink mold, I discovered) and the dimensions seemed to match. It’s not, however. This is much thinner, and I can’t get the top panel to rest behind my head where I need it and still stick in the tub. It IS better than nothing, and I was able to get the suction cups to stick after I got them damp. It’s ok for now, but I might spring for a big squishy one-piece pillow later on and stick a rolled up towel behind my head.

Works great for my hot tub
I have a 25 year old hot tub that works great, but isn’t big on bells and whistles. It has many different type of seats to choose from, but only two of them face the TV I have mounted out there that I am usually watching when I am in it. None of them have the padded head rests like the modern spas do, so I was looking for some kind of pillow or pad that would allow me to adjust positions but still have a softer surface that the acrylic tub to lay my head against. For the 20ish bucks I paid for this, I have no complaints. I have the suction cups attached above the water line, and they hold well enough not slide around, but not so well that I have to pry the off. The way it has a bend or fold in it, I can get various types of positions and feel much more comfortable. Is it like laying on a cloud? No. Do I expect it to last me the next 2 years? No. It was inexpensive, it gets the job done, and if it lasts me the next 3-6 months or more, I will be totally satisfied.

A bath pillow that works
I have a curved bathtub, so this pillow did not conform to that tub shape and I had to place it on the flat rim of the tub. The suction cups are placed on the tile behind the tub and stay in place remarkably well. The pillow can easily be cleaned. It has survived many months of baths, (my zodiac sign is Pisces so water is important to me), providing good support while I read a mystery book for relaxation.

Basic but better than the higher priced ones
When I needed to replace the old “basic” bath pillow I had, I purchased 2 “luxury” larger size bath pillows thinking they would be more comfortable but the larger suction cups on larger pillows did not stick to the tub and tile. They were slipping down repeatedly and ended up floating in the tub. This smaller, basic product had good suction that stuck to the tile and I did not have to struggle. Fancy luxurious pillows did not work out. I have 2 just sitting in my closet, ready to be tossed out.

Wet cheap plastic.
Don’t buy this if you’re looking for a rich comfortable pillow. It’s a cheap plastic pillow that isn’t very comfortable if you plan to spend a lot of time in the tub. If you are looking for something cheaper that will get you by than it’s an option. The suction cups work fine if the tub is somewhat flat. Too much curve in the tub will create suction issues. It also comes with a large white tag that looks to unsightly and isn’t easy to cut off without leaving sharpe edges. All the while making sure you don’t cut the pillow. In summary it’s good from far but far from good.

My review after owning for 1.5 years
I have been using bath pillows for years now and have to replace them often due to wear and tear. I think this is my favorite one I’ve owned out of the various kind I’ve had over the years. The biggest pro is the waterproof vinyl material. It makes it super easy to keep clean and free of mold (which has been one of my biggest qualms with other bath pillows in the past). Plus, since the material is water proof, it keeps the surface temperature consistent, so you won’t be jarred from a freezing cold bath pillow on your back due to it holding water on the surface from your last bath. Some people might not be a fan of the thinner profile of this pillow in comparison to others, but I actually find that the slimmer size makes it easier to keep in place for some reason and is more comfortable if you’re like me and aren’t looking to fully lay down in the bath but just have some cushion for your upper back and neck. It’s not too rigid like some can be so it contours around your body.I’ve actually owned this style of bath pillow before, and have found that the only con of these pillows is that the seam starts to slightly open up over time and soak in water, weighing it down and ultimately resulting in me having to replace them. This isn’t necessarily unique to this kind of bath pillow, it’s just the only issue I seem to have with this one.With that being said, after owning this one for 1.5 years and using it for baths for about three to four times a week, this one has begun absorbing water through the seams and it’s time to replace it. Honestly, I think that’s standard for bath pillows, no matter what material they’re made of. So hopefully that timeline will be helpful for someone else who is considering purchasing one!All-in-all, I recommend this bath pillow more than the others, especially at this price point! I hope one day they’ll be able to make the seams more durable but at this price, I can’t be too mad about it.

Ultimate Comfort and Support for My Head, Neck and upper Back
I shower in the mornings, which is a quick process because I am in a rush to start my day. However, in the evenings I like to relax by soaking in the tub, for me it relieves mental, emotion and physical stress too. Unfortunately, although the warm water is soothing to my body, my head and neck were previously uncomfortable against the hard tile and the porcelain tub wall, which tends to ruin the completely soothing experience.This bath pillow makes all the difference and it allows me to recline in peaceful tranquility. I lay my head back comfortably on this thick cushy bath pillow, and my neck and shoulders are comfortable and supported.This bath pillow has many advantages over my last headrest, which is an inflatable clam-shell shaped cushion. One issue was the inflatable cushion would deflate as I lay back against it. It also kept my head, neck, and shoulders upright, and although I could lean into it, I was unable to bend my neck back in a restfully position. I did not like the four suction cups, the two on the top and two on the bottom spread out in this manner allows the cushion to slip and slide as I try to lie back. Additionally, this other has a terry cloth lining that is difficult to keep clean, and loose hair would catch in the material.In comparison, the Gorilla Grip spa pillow has a better design, and superior construction. It is a thickly cushioned double-paneled, padded foam headrest and the pillow gives my head the ability to lie back, rather than restrict me to remain in an upright position. Since it’s not an inflatable cushion, it does not collapse under pressure. In addition, the spa pillow has seven suction cups, and spaced evenly apart so they do not slip and slide when I shift my head or neck in a different position. Furthermore, this has a smooth and soft rubbery exterior which is comfortable to sink into and very easy to wipe down.I have used, tried, and owned several different types and brands of bath spa pillows, and it is my opinion that this Gorilla Grip is the very best in design, comfort and construction. This pillow supports my head, neck and shoulders with a luxurious soft feeling, which allows me the pleasure to enjoy the soothing experience, of a truly relaxing warm soak.

Pretty good deal
I bought this pillow about 1 year ago. Sticks to my tub great. Fairly comfortable and supportive. It has finally gotten a hole in it that makes a whistling noise. Considering I use it every day and the relatively low price, it is a pretty good deal. I just ordered a new one.

I want to love it but…
I really want to love it! It is very comfy. I like the material and that it’s water resistant. Unfortunately, it does not stay attached to the tub once it’s filled with water. It’s very buoyant! The cups just aren’t strong enough to hold it in place so if I move after the tub is filledit flys up like a pool noodle. The suction cups keeps detatching as well but they are relatively easy to put back in.

Not as comfortable as I hoped
I need a thicker pillow than this. They are comfortable when flat, but I need to mold them a little and it just doesn’t work. Even folded up doesn’t quite work fore. Lay them flat and you will be good to go.

Pleasantly surprised
Honestly, I purchased this for my bathtub without high expectations. I’ve purchased many different versions of bath pillows over the years, and they either deflate or slide. Shockingly, this thing hasn’t budged. It has been easy to wipe down thus far, and it seems to be pretty durable. It isn’t soft per say, but it does work.
