    Worth the money

    Like a lot of people, we have started making our own bread with a bread maker machine, and we simply did not have a bread knife. You can definitely spend a lot more money on a bread knife, even on Amazon, but this one is just the right size for cutting bread made in a bread maker machine. It has a grippy handle that is good for older people with weaker grips. I know this thing isn’t going to last forever, but it sure is doing the trick right now.

    I purchase the knife set ,put it this way it was over due. To replace our OLD set . I did not realize how bad the old set was. These have all the right moves the looks the sharpest easy to handle and did I say looks nice on the countertop. Above all it did not break the bank. This was a good buy and also shipped quickly. NICE.

    Bought these because mine had lost a couple. These were a must have for that reason. If looking for high quality….ummm, not durable longterm.Good for someone just starting out. NOT dishwasher safe, must be hand washed and immediately dried. Will do fir now, but a BEAUTIFUL color.

    Cute and not bad for the price

    I purchased these knives because I have some older Hampton Forge knives that I love. I needed to replace a couple of pieces and was having a hard time trying to find them. So I decided to go with a whole new set.I’ll put the pros and cons together:The color is a little paler than the picture but that did not bother me because it matched my can opener, sink drain and drawer organizers very well. See picture.The first thing I noticed was that the knives are light (weight). My older Hampton chef’s knife is definitely heavier. Comparatively the newer blade is thinner which makes it bend more. That maybe ok for some but not for me.The grip is ok. For hand reference, I wear a medium size glove. I was able to chop using the chef’s and 7in Santoku knives without knocking my knuckles. I did not have the same experience with the 5.5in Santoku blade as it was shorter not only in length but width.I don’t like the unfinished knife block. I spilled some water on the counter and was concerned about it sitting in liquid. I’ve had a block that had slots cut out in the bottom allowing for air flow reducing chance of mold in the bottom.When washing you have to make sure to wipe dry immediately otherwise you’ll get water spots.On a whole, I like the set for the price. The knives are very sharp although the scissors are not impressive.

    It’s sharp, it does a great job – GREAT value!

    Love this knife. Bought it as a backup for my previously one and only bread knife that I had a short-lived scare over, thinking I had left it at a bridesmaids’ brunch. I hadn’t, but realized I should probably have a second bread knife. That didn’t mean I wanted to spend a fortune on it. Enter this knife. The reviews were good and so was the price. And it lives up to the hype. Buy it! You won’t be sorry! It even handles the dishwasher like a champ!

I recently snagged my second one, and it’s just as amazing as the first.First things first, holding this thing is a dream. The grip is spot-on – comfy and secure, even when my hands are slippery from all the chopping action.In the looks department, it’s all black and sleek. Seriously, it’s like the James Bond of knives – smooth, classy, and it gets the job done.Cutting? Oh, it’s a breeze. This blade is sharp as heck.     High quality for the price

    These are nice and sharp and the handles are quite cute! That being said, the stainless steel is a little less than stainless. Within one wash there’s some spotting. They don’t perform as well as my nicer knives, but considering the whole set is the cost of one of those, they’re perfect for day to day use.

    Unfortunately, I took a star off bc since I’ve had these knives for about a month, which it says on them, STEEL-NO STAIN..Well I felt good about that until I let them air dried and I found out they started getting rust stains! Really?? Some rust by the handle, a bit on the top edge, and on a the very tip of the knife…I scrubbed it off the best I could, really bummed out about that,I really liked them, they’re very easy to handle, love the shape, was happy that i got them until….So, my advice is to wash, and dry them right away..I don’t know about the dish washer, Just make sure there totally dry..

    Beautiful but can rust easy

    Ive had two sets of these and these new ones just seem to rust easier. Nothing I couldnt get off with a wire brush but I had my last set for 5 years and only a little rust happened over time. I’ve had this set a month and already there is rust but it can be cleaned. Possibly just hand wash these items and dont let them sit in a dishwasher and I think you would see better results. Because overall the quality is great which is why I keep buying the same style.

    Cuts bread great but chips

    The sharpness, the cutting, the sturdiness, the comfort of grip and use are all great especially for the price. But, as other reviewers stated, the blade gets like chip spots. I am very careful with care of knife, I only handwash, I don’t let it sit in water, and i dry and put away immediately.

    handle stain

    one of the times got stained with chili while in the sink. have soaked the handle and bleached now for almost 2 days staying will not remove and will not wipe off. Very disappointing.

    Knife set

    Arrived on time and great color. Very sharp and cuts things very easily. They do stain however so I wouldn’t let them sit with certian things such as pasta sauce. The wood block is sturdy. And looks nice with the knives.

    I got these same ones last year ,they were great with serrated end reaching till the end , but these ones the seratted edge reaches only half way through and it is hard for cutting.

    I bought two of these thinking they were paring knives. They are larger than what I would consider paring knives. However, they are good sharp knives and I am happy to keep and use them. As far as being serrated, mine are not.

    Great knife set.

    Love these. This is my second set. 1st set lasted over 4 years. After a few years its get hard to keep them sharp….but…I’d rather spend $40 every 4 years than hundreds and hope they last. The first set I owned, I washed them in the dishwasher which I’m sure led to their demise. This set I’m going to wash and dry by hand every use to prolong the life. But overall I really like them. Good weight and heft. Nice size handles that dont feel wimpy. Good grip. Love the chefs knife the most. Large blade with grooves to release food. Many sizes and styles for different food prep. The shears are a bit puny but I’ll just replace those when they wear out. Hopeing this set will last several more years.

    Never a dull moment

    I bought one of these knives many years ago and it was always my go to knife when chopping or cutting up or slicing something because it was alway unbelievably sharp from day one and stayed that way. Recently I was shopping on Amazon and saw these knives in a set. I couldn’t believe it and the price was shockingly low yes I purchased the set and am so happy I did. I love the fact that they are always sharp no matter what your cutting. They don’t even get dull. I love love these knives
