Very short in length
I used this hoodie with an Avery transfer to make my own design. It’s very soft and comfy, but it could be a couple inches longer. I’m 5’6 and bought an xl, the hoodie just covers my belt.

Don’t put it in the dryer!!
First and foremost, for the price this is a nice hoodie. I bought the large which turned out to be a bit too snug. I’m 6 foot one 235 pounds not fat, but a little bulky. I ordered the extra large which at first seemed to be extra large. However after washing it and putting it in the dryer on medium heat, it had shrunk and considerably lengthwise and oddly enough it seems loose around the waist. Again, for the price it’s a decent deal.

Disappointed
I was really excited to get an oversized hoodie. I ordered an XL (i’m also female) it fit amazing until you stuck it in the dryer and shrinks 2 sizes too small

If you have very long arms and a very short body, these t-shirts are for you! Otherwise, be prepared to be very disappointed. It’s almost a midriff t-shirt, it’s so short.

Great, but-
I bought a couple sizes too large for an intentionally oversized fit, but even so the neck and hood were a lot smaller than I expected. I’m a small and skinny guy with a small head, so I thought it was a little weird that a hoodie meant for guys 3 times my size would have so little room in the hood. However, the fabric is super soft, sturdy and high quality, very comfortable, keeps you warm in the cold and cool in the sun.

Definitely Heavyweight!
I know the description says heavyweight, but they aren’t joking. This is the type that is lined with the fuzzy interior. The quality of the material is a bit rough, but to be expected from an inexpensive basic hoodie. The hood creates a substantial bunching of material and, for me, the neck hole is pretty tight, so that makes it a bit less comfortable, but not enough to not wear it. Sizing was a bit off from what I normally wear. I bought a 2X which is what I normally wear and ended up needing an XL for a fit that wasn’t way too large.

Basic Hoodie
Decent quality for the price, very roomy, not heavyweight. Seams poke a little at the sleeves, neck is tight with no give as you pull it on (I know I have a large head, but this hoodie is a wrestling match to get on and off my head). Friend added design to the front and back that came out really well on the black option. I suggest layering in colder weather!

Okay so I was pretty pumped to just have a plain black hoodie for the winter season. To be all cozy and comfy in. Not sure if I just got a dud, but this hoodie was garbage. The material wasn’t very thick, it wasn’t cozy at all on the inside, it had a weird shape on me, and my head barely fit in the hole!! Y’all… I have a small head. I’m typically an XS in women’s fitted clothing. I ordered an XL. There is no reason that hoodie should have been as difficult to get my head through as it was.

Horribly sized
I am a 6’2” guy who’s not out of shape and normally wears XL. The XL hoodie was wrong in every way. Sleeves too short, torso too short, torso way too wide, and the neck hole barely large enough. In no way was the hoodie comfortable because it just felt so off. It is warm though if it fits you I guess

Awesome for the price!
This sweatshirt is plain (solid color no print), it’s made of a stretchable cotton (so it doesn’t bind/constrict) and it’s not too thick, it’s really just right. For the price I LOVE IT.

Got this sweatshirt and when I opened it it has mold in it. Very disappointing. I needed it for my son and now have to clean it up as best as possible so he can wear it. And of course I can’t return it because I’m on a time crunch

Thick, high quality fleece at a great price.
After shopping a ton of online retailers to find a basic hoodie for summer campfires and just wearing around, I was discouraged at the high prices and limited selections. I decided to just grab something cheap until I came across something I liked better. I needn’t have waited. This heavyweight hoodie is generously fit, very warm, and has become my favorite hoodie. No annoying logo, not flashy, just simple and comfortable. Would easily have cost three times as much or more in a department store.

Comfortable, durable hoodie!
I love these hoodies. I am 5’6, about 235 pounds and I get the XL! It’s big on me, but perfect in length. I love oversized hoodies, and these are my go to. Perfect for cooler weather and perfect for pairing with any outfit! I love these. I’ve gotten at least three of them this past year! At a good price, you can’t beat it! Definitely recommend everyone has at least one of these in their closet!

Air Dry Only
Bought an XL for my husband. He is 5’11 and about 200 lbs. Was a little big at first but after washing it, it shrank… maybe a couple sizes! I am going to have wash it, stretch it out and air dry it. If you buy it,, air dry it only. Also the neck was a little tight before the wash and after it shrank my husband had to cut a V in it so it would fit. The material is comfortable and thick, perfect for layering in the winter.

Almost Perfect
This hoodie is nice quality! The fabric is thick and it keeps you warm. It doesn’t get fuzzy or pilly after a few washes. My only complaint is that the neckline is sooooo tight. I buy hoodies 1-2 sizes too big because I like them big and roomy. While every other aspect is big, the neckline was just uncomfortable.

it’s alright
decent . keeps you warm while being breathable . doesn’t get hot easily at all, and i’d say 7/10 comfort. however the neck is obnoxiously cut too close so anytime i’m laying down or look down to use my phone , the stupid neck line is riding up my entire neck into my chin. it’s ridiculous.I am pretty muscle and have a decently large neck but still, a lot of hoodies are cut better and fit my neck better than this one. defintely not very ultimate at all unless you are taking solely about the cotton quality grade.

READ BEFORE BUY
First day I received this I loved the fit, actually I prefer a more roomy fit, not tight so I went a size up. It is your casual black hoodie, but at the neck area its more on the tighter side, so takes a little pushing to get in, but also isnt too bad.First wash, not impressed how it kind of got sticky and collected lint, unfortunately, I had to rewash it (I reccomend to wash on gentle).First dry, it went well but on the back of the hoodie’s “neck” stitch, there was a tiny whole (stitch came a little apart) probably the size of the tip of your ring finger Color, still looked good.Second wash and dry, I feel like the dark black color I liked in the beginning of recieving this, actually kind of faded slightly.All in all, its a decent hoodie, ill still wear it.Rate this at a 3/ 5

Nice, but could be a little betterIt’s a nice sweatshirt – relatively thick and warm. I put an iron-on vinyl on the front, and it looks pretty cool.My complaint is also with the neck hole being too tight. My husband had to take off his glasses to pull it on and off. But then on his first day of wearing it, he snagged the hood on something and the hood seam ripped about 3 or 4 inches. The seam is serged only with no reinforcement. So then I pulled out my sewing machine, I stretched the neck hole a bit and reattached the hood with an extra inch of room in front for him, and it’s much better now.For the price, it’s really not bad at all. However, I’ll probably try a different one next time I want a plain sweatshirt for customizing with vinyl.

Not bad
Did shrink a bit after washing, but then again I don’t take much care when washing clothes. I use this as a work sweater. It’s really warm and a lil on the heavier side. I rolled the sleeves up when it got too hot and the wrist cuffs stretched out so it’s kinda loose now but overall solid sweater

Disappointed
Has gone thru the wash twice and has shrunk in length with the waist area stretched out very weirdly. Yea, I should’ve air dried it but figured it wouldn’t wind up in this shape. I bought the heather gray one not long after the black one. Need to be careful with that one. (Hanes has really gone downhill of late. Dont get me started on the A Shirts I recently bought)

nice weight and quality
i ordered this to wear as an oversized hoodie for layering, and i wanted something heavier and more substantial. this really fits the bill for me. the size is exactly what i wanted it to be and so is the quality. i ordered this sweatshirt as well as the gildan g18500 hoodie that came up among the same search results. this hanes hoodie is FAR superior to the gildan for only $2 more. if you’re eyeing both of them like i was, i recommend you go with the hanes if you want an accurate fit and quality product. in addition to the good material, the stitching is very clean and the holes for the hoodie cords are reinforced with a metal ring. 5 stars from me!

Tiny neck hole!!!!
This sweatshirt has a tiny neck hole to begin with, but after the initial wash (it shrinks, and becomes too short in addition) the neck whole is even smaller. You will need to get your head shrunk to wear this!!!!

I am really impressed with the Hanes hoodie sweatshirt.
I bought two size XL black Hanes hoodie sweatshirts and they are both excellent. They are heavy weight, thick cotton hoodies for working outside and are a fraction of the cost of other name brand heavy weight cotton hoodies. I’m really happy I bought these, and am going to buy more them in different colors. Thank you Hanes and Amazon.

I was expecting this sweatshirt to be thin and cheaper in quality due to the very low price, but I was extremely impressed buy the thickness and overall quality. A good sweatshirt for many purposes. I would caution purchasers that mine shrunk about one full size after putting it in the dryer on LOW heat, so if I were to purchase again, I would order one size larger or ALWAYS air dry.

Absolutely horrible.
This hoodie has to be one of the worst pieces of clothing I’ve ever purchased. First the material… After many washes and wears this material feels thick and Ridgid. There is not a bit of softness in this thing. Second is the shape of it. I have an average size head and a little extra padding around the waist. The head hole through this thing is ridiculousy small and the bottom of it 8 could fit at least 2 of me in. It feels like it was designed for a pylon to wear.Pros.. it’s warm and if you want to feel slim in the waist this will give the illusion.Cons.. nasty feeling material and odd shape. It you have an average head you’ll feel like Mr potato head trying to squeeze through it.

Great Hoodie, Too Small Neck Hole
