Great product
No pulled muscles yet. Should have bought these years ago. Went with a large normally wear medium, just right size. Like they are longer for more support.

Very soft & comfortable.
Perfect for wearing around the house. I was surprised to find these, not knowing Hanes made Compression Shorts. With that in mind, they do have plenty of compression to them. So I ended up going up from a large to x-large. All the boxer briefs I own are this material. Most are long leg. My reasons are for no ride up, moisture wicking, and super comfort. So if your underwear requirements are similar to mine, I’m sure you would like these. Just remember these are compression shorts & fit as such.

Great Price and Great Feel
I needed a compression garment for working out since the gym shorts I wear seem a tad short. Even a bit on the revealing side, and totally unintentional of course. These are shorts I always wear to bed, and I’ve decided to turn them into gym shorts, and I needed a compression garment so nothing shows while working out. The worst thing ever is to be working out, and having things get potentially exposed around prying eyes. After all my cardio is completed, I do stretches and odd yoga poses.I kept browsing and browsing, and everything was extremely overpriced. I found these and I think the price is absolutely right. I am very pleased. They fit fine and are almost to my knees length wise. I feel so comfortable in these. It covers everything that needs to be covered. I really have no idea why the reviews are so bad. Yes, the elastic band around the waist does have a crease if you have a bit of a gut, but it doesn’t bother me at all. It is not a distraction. You only notice when you are ready to do laundry. I have no clue why people wear compression garments, aside from covering things up. They look super great in black. Loved these so much, I got a few pairs for all my workouts. Check out my pics and pick up a pair. A real bargain at these prices.

Be careful on the first wash
I ordered my in Black. I decided to wash it by hand on the first wash. To my surprise, the water turned black. After several rinses then the black water was gone. I am 5ft10in, 165 lbs, and normally wear size 34. I was going to order size M, but the system recommended size L. The waist fits fine but around the tight, it’s not as right as I preferred.

High quality at cheapest price you’ll find…AND fit perfectly
I order a lot on this site but don’t typically leave reviews. Doing this one because I read a LOT of reviews about these compression shorts being too tight with a lot of people saying “size up”.I wear two layers of compression shorts when I do squats, etc. at the gym. Bought these as an extra pair and they fit EXACTLY how compression shorts should fit. I’m a male with 33 inch waist, full quads, hams, glutes, etc. The medium is perfect. One piece of advice: don’t buy compression shorts expecting them to be loose or baggy. They’re compression shorts! Quality pretty close or equal to my Under Armor, Nike etc. and paid something like $6.

No more chafing
Got these for my 6’2”, 225lb muscular build husband for riding the Peloton. I got him the XL and they fit perfectly. Usually he wears a Large in shorts but I had a feeling these would be tight fitting and they were. These XL fit like a L. They have stopped his legs from getting chafed while bike riding and running and he said they are very comfortable so I bought 4 more pairs in blue and black.

Way too small!
I wear size 30 shorts and they fall off me without a belt. The sizing chart said to get a Small. They are way too small. The elastic band digs into my waist in a very uncomfortable way. Definitely needed a medium. Small is unwearable for me.

Waist size runs tight
I have a true 36″ waist and bought a size large, which lists as 36-38″, and these are tight around the waist. If I was a 38″ waist, I might not be able to wear them. I have size Large compression shorts from Nike and Adidas, and they are not this tight. So be aware. Can’t comment on their durability, only had them for a couple weeks but no torn seams yet. Bought these for the promise of the Hanes brand name and the low price.

A Supportive Review for Compression Shorts
So, picture this: a beach full of perfectly sculpted bodies strutting their stuff in stylish swim trunks, and here I am, just an average Joe trying to soak up the sun. But fear not! I discovered the ultimate secret weapon to level up my beach game – the Hanes Sport Men’s Compression Shorts. These bad boys provide the support I never knew I needed, making me feel like the superhero of beachgoers.First off, let me tell you about the fit of these compression shorts. I’ve tried countless options in the past, but the Hanes Sport shorts are in a league of their own. They snugly hug my body, giving me a sense of security that not even my retired superhero undies could provide. No more worrying about accidental peek-a-boos or wardrobe malfunctions while chasing waves or playing beach volleyball. Trust me; I’ve put these things to the test, and they held up like a fortress against the forces of gravity. Now let’s talk about comfort. The Performance Compression Shorts are smooth, soft, and stretchy, so it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing a medieval torture device under my trunks. They manage to strike the perfect balance between staying in place and allowing free movement. I never thought I’d say it, but these compression shorts actually make me forget I’m wearing underwear beneath my swim trunks. It’s like they’re the secret agent of comfort, blending into the background and doing their job without any fuss.Pros:1. Stellar support: The Hanes Sport shorts keep everything in place, preventing any surprise appearances and providing confidence at the beach.2. Comfortably snug: The compression shorts are perfectly designed to provide a secure fit without causing discomfort or restricting movement.3. Versatility: Don’t limit these shorts to just swimming! They’re suitable for all kinds of athletic activities, making them a versatile addition to any man’s wardrobe.4. Quality craftsmanship: The Hanes Sport shorts are made with durable materials, ensuring they can withstand rigorous activities without losing their shape or integrity.Cons:1. Sizing can be tricky: Like most compression garments, finding the right size may require a bit of trial and error. Make sure to consult the size chart before purchasing.2. Limited color options: Though this is a minor gripe, it would be great to see more vibrant and playful color options to match the buoyant beach ambiance. In conclusion, if you’re looking for added support and comfort while strutting your stuff at the beach, the Hanes Sport Men’s Compression Shorts are your superhero sidekick. These compression shorts offer a snug fit that keeps everything in place without sacrificing movement or comfort. Just be sure to find the right size for your body type, and you’ll be ready to rock the beach like never before. Trust me, fellow beach enthusiasts, these shorts are a game-changer!

I like the compression it has.. wish it had a little cotton in the crothc
The first pair i got was Medium.. which usually fit.. these were a little small, but i will wear them.. the second pair i got large and they fit better. Surprised they had a paper tag in themWas shocked they were sent in a very flimsy see through plastic. I thought underwear would be in paper.. You could clearly see them.. and a little poke of the finger and anyone could have had their hands on them.. yuk.. now that i have had them a while.. and worn them some more.. i am liking them better.. even the medium pair seems to be fitting better… I like the extra elastine or spandex in them.. i like 15% or more in them

These are solid!
For the price, I’ve been loving these compression shorts. They are on the more flexible and stretchy side of things, which I enjoy- gives me more mobility while playing soccer but the added support I need. Helps helps the groin and basic things, like slide tackling.Length is perfect.Size is perfect: I went with medium for my 32-33″ waist.Hard to beat the price!

Good but could be better
1st, price is good and nice comfortable fit. But could use much more compression. If needing strong compression, look elsewhere. But worth the price and very comfortable as it is snug to right above my knees at 5’11”, 32″ inseam.

Long Boxers
They’re just long boxers. Not much compression. I’m not mad about it because they’re pretty comfortable; seams aren’t itchy and they don’t bunch/rise like regular cotton boxers.

With a better waist band these good be Great!
These are not bad but the wait band fits very tight. I am 6′ and 170 pounds and no gut 33-34 waist. I would like them a bit more snug around the hips but the waist band is already cutting into me. I bought Large and If I went smaller would really hurt. I would prefer for my use ones that are almost 100% spandex and have more compression. But if you like your with less compression and have an extremely small waist you will love these.

Frictionless and loving it!
I do quite a bit of walking (sometimes 5-10 miles in the mornings) and was experiencing all kinds of discomfort due to friction. I looked for a good solution and was very happy to find these. 😊 I haven’t experienced any chafing problems since I started wearing them. I have a 39-in waist and these have a nice snug comfortable fit. I was so satisfied with them that I bought a few more. If you’re someone who works out or does a lot of walking and are looking for a solution to prevent chafing discomfort, these are highly recommended.

Waist runs small, legs okay, worth the sales price, not the retail price.
These shorts are good for casual workouts of a coupe hours. I purchased mostly to prevent chafing and was not concerned about the compression capabilities. I’m a 34 waist so I purchased a large, the waist was very tight but the legs were okay, I returned them and exchange for a XL which fit much better in the waist and were still good for the legs and I’ve got pretty skinny legs. The waistband does roll but didn’t bother me when working out. Overall I feel that these compression shorts are worth the money keeping in mind that they were on sale for less than $10. At full price they would not be worth the money.

Good compression, but…
Needed some compression shorts. These fit the bill nicely. Great price and the product “feels” of decent production for that. The fit is to size; however, the waistband doesn’t seem to like stretching as much. Most importantly there is frontal room for the goods. Nothing negative so far other than a questionable waistband that might not hold up in the long term. For now it does what I need now.

Actually really comfortable
The media could not be loaded.
I was looking for shorts that would fit my Ed cosplay and I found this one and ordered it since it was on a discount at the time. It arrived a day early and I’m happy to say I wasn’t disappointed. It feels very similar to swim jammers, which was good since I have a pair I use for swim, so overall comfortable. It’s stretchy where it doesn’t interfere with workouts and flexibility exercises. Overall really well made.

Going to order more. Good product
They fit perfectly as compression shorts. They have a spandex/briefs feel with optimal tightness but the length of shorts. These are good compression shorts for basketball and running in general. Also there is inside pocket in the front crotch area that you can place a sock or handwarmers in making them perfect for an outside run only wearing these if wanted. Good product. If you weigh from 190-225 pounds a medium is perfect for you, if you weigh 130 – 170 you need a small

Comfortable
Compared to Nike, psd, and new balance, I’d give these an 8.5 out of 10. Extremely comfortable and affordable and quite durable. Only complaint is the waistband. It could be better, but for Hanes this is really good.

Why is white so hard to find??
Finally!! For all you sports parents out there that the coaches are making our kids wear “White” bottoms for all the sporting events these Hanes men compression shorts/undies are 100% perfect. They have a decent stretch, are thin enough for a supportive undergarment, and will not show through white uniform bottoms. We love these because you can still move in them but it gives good support as well! Great price for the budget friendly peeps and you will not be disappointed.

I might have ordered too small
Either I ordered too small, or they run small, or both. (Didn’t return because I waited too late)Regardless, they actually still feel pretty good – just a little tight, but I can just sorta scooch them down a bit and it solves the discomfort.Otherwise, actually rather comfortable.

Nice for biking, very springy, get a feeling like I am a super hero:)
Order a size larger than what is recommended for you waist size, I first ordered a large, which should have fit according to their own data, than I ordered extra large and they fit, still a bit snug but the elastic in the waist band and leg cuffs will probably loose tension over time and washings. I like the extra flap in the crotch, not exactly sure what it is for but it does help hide any embarrassing reveals of genitalia:) Not sure if these were intended to use as underwear but I use them for bike riding, 18% spandex is very high compared to many other offerings on Amazon at any price. In my my case, I’ve got a 34″ waist, but the large was too small and the extra large just right.

Better than expected!!!
So I’m older and really into compression. I play softball often at 51 years old. I already use compression socks because of feet issues. Now my hips and groin area are starting to feel pain from all the years if okaying sports. Well I order these and wow I felt a difference. Pain was present but not intense. Helped my recovery period in my opinion as well. Will be getting another pair so I don’t these out. Now on to full leg compression sleeves next!!!
