Comfortable & Lightweight for Sleeping

The material is thick and durable. Totally worth it!
I bought this as a gift for my mom in black and gray. She has a lot of allergies so she can only wear 💯 cotton. So upon inspection I noticed the material is a little rough like a durable cotton. They gown does stretch of you wash it. It only needs fabric softener and other than that I highly recommend it. It’s breathable, cool, and comfortable according to her. I do wish it was long sleeve to keep her warmer during the winter.

Kinda….crispy? Break out the fabric softener!
Updated 09/08/18: After a few washes and lots of softener, it’s softened a lot but I still wish the material and the stitching were a little softer.I lounge around the house in it, in pants and slippers. Looks a little funny since it hits my knees but it’s so much easier. When it’s time for bed I just pull off my slippers and pants and crawl into bed and I still have something that covers me if I take a trip to the bathroom in the middle of the night.If you’re willing to be patient, it’s a pretty good nightshirt. Very long for short people, but I don’t go out in this so it doesn’t really matter.Older review: For a long while I’ve just been looking for a plain long tee to wear to bed, but I didn’t want something that looks like a dress or a nightgown. I’m not girly. I wanted something that looked like I was wearing my boyfriends tee.When I got this I wasn’t expecting it to me so very long, but then again, I’m 4’10”. It’s very loose and I imagine could be very comfy, but I had a big issue. When I got it, the threads on the inside, especially the inside of the sleeve edges were so incredibly ITCHY. I have sensory issues, so I might be more sensitive than others, but the entire thing felt really stiff, itchy…like it had been starched or something. It sounded crispy moving in it lol. i have it in the wash now with loads of fabric softener. Fingers crossed it helps. If there’s an improvement, I’ll edit my review. If not, well I’ll have to keep looking for a nightshirt.

Fits, soft fabric
I wear size 14, weigh 130lbs, and 5’6″.I bought 3 of these to wear as a nite shirt. They fit roomy, and fabric is 100% cotton. They are nice and soft t-shirt fabric. All comments that are negative don’t apply to what I received. Glad I did order the 3.

Quality
I purchased this nightshirt because it is 100% cotton. I read several of the reviews and it was reported that the Hanes cotton fabric of this shirt was much thinner recently than in the past. When I received the shirt, I was surprised by how thick the fabric was. I washed it prior to wearing and used the dryer and was amazed how much lint was in the filter. The cotton is rough to the touch, not like regular cotton T-shirts. Perfectly wearable and the size is appropriate my Large to XL size. Not bad for a $12 shirt, but next time I will search for better quality.

What an absolute disappointment – loyal fan of Hanes – NO LONGER…
I am very disappointed with this Nightshirt. I have bought these for years directly from Hanes (Just My Size) and something has changed in a HUGE WAY with the quality of this Hanes Nightshirt. Absolutely terrible – scratchy and the material is rough and runs small too. One size fits all is a joke. I used to buy 7 of these nightshirts at a time – one for each day of the week. It was time to replace them again and after receiving them – I was very disappointed. Forgot to leave feedback – definitely remembered after Christmas this year. These are so poorly designed now, that I just had to come back and leave this post. This is much smaller and rougher than the ones I already have, although I ordered the same one. The old ones all have V necks and are much softer. The material on this is SO scratchy and rough – and washing it didn’t help. I am done with Hanes products if this is an example of where they are heading. Sad in that my memories of Hanes have always been so good. Sad because in my opinion, this was their best product. Used to be SO comfortable. NO LONGER A RELIABLE COMPANY AND THIS OLD FAVORITE STANDBY IS DEFINITELY A SAD DISAPPOINTMENT.

Love it! so cute and perfect collar
I wear it for casual clothes, not just around the house. It’s a great deal and looks as cute as an oversized t-shirt. Another best thing is that the collar is more convenient for me, especially with my teenage son at home. The length is also good. Florida winter styles are warmer if they are ankle length. Regardless, I would love to order in all the different colors. Thanks! 🙂

Nice loose sleepshit that covers everything
I bought 6 of these to sleep in and still wear around the house during the day. They are plenty big and the length is what’s best as I am completely covered if I go outside. They haven’t shrunk that I can tell. I will say they are not super soft out of the bag. Nothing uncomfortable though. It takes a few washings to soften them up. And they’re Hanes so are made really well for what they are. The older they get, the better they’ll be.

I loved the weight of t shirt like material and it’s sized close to your specific measurements. Didn’t shrink as far as I could tell.
