    Make sure you remember how to store the pieces…

    My son loved this for his birthday. As the title says, make sure you save the instructions on how to store the pieces or you’ll have a tad bit of trouble closing the container (which is nice and convenient in itself!).

    A 3 yr old can play with this

    Easy to use. The pull back is kinda stiff. My grandson uses two thumbs. You have to use light weight cars preferable plastic that are made for race tracks.

    It doesn’t really function lol

    We built it several times exactly like the diagram states, which is fairly simple. We also built it BOTH ways the instructions show it can be built. The cars just crash on the loop or fly off, they don’t really make it around the entire contraption wether you use the included car or your own hot wheels. The parts are really thin plastic. It kept the kids occupied for a bit but they were also puzzled at its failure lol. This thing sucks and is just a novelty because it folds up into the gas can. Worth $5-$10 maximum at a liquidation warehouse or something, very disappointing value and quality. I gave it three stars because young ones don’t know too different and can still maybe get some temporary stimulation from this despite the fact that it doesn’t work

    Grandson and granddaughter both love it.

    My grandchildren love Hot Wheel Tracks as did their parents. The tracks provide endless hours of fun. It requires strategy, creativity and provides many learning moments. I purchased this track set to add to current tracks. They really enlarged the set and made it even more fun. The best part is you can continue to build the tracks with other sets.

    Great Track from Hot Wheels! Our 4 year old loves it.

    Just a great track that works well and is expandable. Our 4 year old loves it. He likes traveling with it too. Only thing I’d improve is the storage organization on the inside. It’s a bit of a challenge packing the thing. Otherwise it’s loads of fun.

    Keeps falling apart

    The top part that snaps into the red “case” won’t snap in at all, so it keeps coming off. The lever that pulls back to provide tension for a take-off is too hard for my little grandson to do himself. It takes too much strength for him.

    It works but nowhere the toy of my childhood days

    My son loves this but the only reason why it works is due to the flimsy thin plastic that it is. Growing up I had Hot Wheels tracks and loved them, they were sturdy and built well, while this version does work it really disappoints me in their approach by making this near paper thin. Really not sure how long it will hold up, not sure if I will ever buy another Hot Wheels track again (except for older ones off eBay).

     I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 3 year old nephew. He loved it.Assembly is Not quite for his age yet but fairly easy for an adult. We were pleased that the car did manage to go around the track.

    Product arrived on time, undamaged. Bought back in September, but was a Christmas gift, so return window closed. My son was so excited to get this, but we are missing the part in the picture. Can ANYONE help get this piece?? Please???

    The picture on the box does not do it justice. This is a really cool track. It’s pretty large if you perfect for like a loft comes with the car but putting together is really easy you have hours of fun playing hot wheels with your kids.

    Car really takes off!

    Toy is as described. Easy to assemble EXCEPT that the final section of track will not stay attached because one channel on the bottom is crimped, likely a manufacturing or storage defect? Is there a way to get a replacement? That said, the little birthday boy (and his older sister) was delighted to see the car zoom around the loop in the blink of an eye. As others mentioned, getting other mini-cars to race around it is touch-and-go so we’ll have to take care not to lose the car that came with it. I’m glad there’s a separate space to “park” the car in the fuel can. A heavier-duty plastic would make this more giftable; as is, the product looks a bit cheap.

    Stunt track and storage case all in one.

    My son and I love this product. We plan to buy more Hot Wheels track sets in the future. My only complaint is the individual track connectors (mine are light blue) are a little “wimpy.” One broke after a couple of times of use, though it is still functional, it doesn’t hole two pieces of track together very tightly. That piece is common to all Hot Wheels track, so it’s easily replaced – at least with other tracks and track sets. It may be available individually, or in packs, I don’t know yet. The biggest plus of this toy is the case. We can put it all away, including a bunch of cars (this only comes with one) inside. This is the main reason I selected this toy over other similarly priced alternatives. Don’t expect all Hot Wheels cars to work with this toy, which they don’t, and Matel points that out in the instructions. The car that came with it works fine, as well as many others from a separate pack of 12 cars. But there are a few that just don’t stay on the track out of the launcher. We also got a Matchbox set and it works with Hot Wheels. They use the same connectors, and the cars also work in either set. Same precaution – some cars won’t work, but don’t let that deter you from making a boy (or his adult father) happy.

    Cheaply made

    Although it’s a clever idea to have a fold-up track, it does not last very long. The launcher piece that connects the track to the main connector broke. It’s basically a clear elastic rubber band but once it stops working, this is basically useless. We tried to connect other compatible launchers but still not as expected. Save your money & splurge for a bigger & more durable set.

    Missing Pieces: See Update

    Bought this for my son for a birthday gift. He was so excited to play with it . However , he cannot because when we opened the container we noticed the track connector pieces are missing from the package . Very disappointed as this was a birthday gift for a child .UPDATE : I contacted the manufacturer and made them aware of the missing pieces. The issue was more than rectified and they sent the missing pieces to this set AND an additional ( different ) HotWheels track set . My son was beyond thrilled and loves BOTH play sets … Love this one as it is portable and additional track sets can be added … VERY HAPPY

    Room for improvement

    It’s great. It could be way better. Seems too arbitrary. Why aren’t all the pieces interconnectable? I want the Lego version of this. When it works it’s fun, but man, it’s actually really random to have a successful run through the whole track with any cars. I’ve been using screws to attach the track to pieces of wood/clamps to make my own ramps. My 2 year old daughter and I have fun.The booster unit- why is it pointy? A straight flat end would be way better. Hopefully a v2 will be better.Tip- get some slow motion video of your cars, it’s a blast! Sometimes they wheelie right out of the gate.

    A Birthday gift for my grandson

    Very inexpensive, and comes apart easy to put away. My grandson loves it, for Christmas he got a lot (22) of hot wheels from my neighbor so I thought this would be a perfect Birthday gift, since he like playing with all 22 hot wheels I was hoping it wasn’t to big or to hard to put together but it was the perfect size, less then 10 parts to put it together in like 2 min also take it apart, he Carrie’s it in a string bag whenever he come to spend the night with me or if he wants to take it to the park he likes playing with it and his cars in the sandbox. It’s worth it cause he spends at least 2-3 hrs playing with it. Definitely recommend it.

    Nice and packable

    I like that everything can be packed away nicely! My 3 year old grandson loves it but I was surprised when he couldn’t use all his hot wheels that he collected on it because only the car it comes with works well with the track
