Good lightweight jacket
This jacket is nice, it’s lightweight and thin. This isn’t the jacket you want for very cold weather. It’s comfortable and decently made. However, as other reviewers have said, it does run a tiny bit small – just something to keep in mind if you like a roomier fit. Also, can’t beat the price!

Great sweater!
I love this sweater. It’s perfect for all year-round. Not too light and not too thick. Tends to thin out a bit with age (2+ year), but it just means it’s time for a new sweater. I have these in 3 colors and some of them have lasted 3 years.

Thin like a tshirt
This hoodie is cute, I’m happy with it for $12 but it’s way thinner than I thought it would be… the fabric is like tshirt material so you’re not gonna keep warm with it, but since I’m in Florida it’s nice for days where you need long sleeves. I like the way it fits, it’s very “fitted” not baggy or roomy. Definitely runs small though so size up!

Runs Small / Thin & Lightweight
This runs very small, which I haven’t experienced before with this brand. I’m 5’4″ 280lbs and wear a size 24W pretty comfortably in most brands. Initially bought a 3X which is too small, so I sized up to a 4X. The larger size fits ok with over a thin shirt but is snug around my hips if I zip it. I don’t think it would fit well with a thicker shirt. It’s more of a fitted style. Material is thin and very lightweight. Probably better for Summer. I’d suggest sizing up.

Very thin material More of a summer weight fabric. The sleeves fit tight for a 3x size. I normally wear an xl but ordered larger so I could wear over a lightweight sweater. Sleeves are tight over a regular weight shirt. I will keep it because I do like the length.

FINALLY a good PLUS SIZE lightweight black jacket
Just wanted to shout out this brand and jacket. It’s lightweight, it’s solid black (even the silver part in the stock pic at the bottom is black, which if you’re like me, you like it all the same color) and SO affordable ($12.99!!!!).I have been on the hunt for a BLACK lightweight cotton jacket for a long time that’s MADE FOR PLUS SIZED GIRLIES and I’m so happy!! Size up one if you like it looser fit, but it actually ZIPS over my boobs and still has room which is VERY hard to find. I will be buying more!!Update: size up it shrinks, especially in the sleeve length.

Great lightweight jacket, but wayyyy too small!
I had to order this jacket 3 times to get the correct size! I normally wear XL in all tops, but ended up having to go up two sizes to get this to fit right. Once I got the right size, I really liked it! One extra nice thing is that the sleeves weren’t too long. I usually have to roll up or hem all long sleeves, but these were perfect for me! I don’t have T-Rex arms, but…they define aren’t long. Lightweight knit is perfect for just a touch of chill in the air.

Very thin fabric
This is so thin you can see through the black. I don’t expect any warmth out of this now that I feel the thin fabric. It looks like a sweatshirt in the picture; it’s not. I will use it over a tank top in summer or under a coat in winter. A zippered long sleeved T shirt with a hood and pockets. It shouldn’t take long to drip dry, which is a big plus. I hang dry all my clothes. The fabric is very soft. Thanks!

Great for spring and summer
I haven’t worn this hoodie enough to know how much I like it. I wasn’t paying attention to all the details and ordered one made out of thin material. I had been wanting one with thicker material. So, when the weather gets warmer, I’m going to start wearing it. I can tell it’s made well though, and I love the color.

Very nice, slimming light sweatshirt
I loved this sweatshirt haven’t tried on the new ones as I just ordered a couple more of these and I noticed they say Hanes and Not My Size on them? ? You have to be careful not to keep them in the dryer too long because they do shrink easy. I love the black it is slimming and made very well very comfortable. It’s just a light sweatshirt so it’s not a real warm one, but that’s what I wanted..

Sizing is way off
I got a 5x and it is a horrible fit. I picked Just My Size because I had luck with them in the past. Usually finding larger sizes it is tough because they tend to come from another country where the sizes aren’t the same. Just My Size always fit correctly, so I bought this from them as well. It fit horribly. I checked the size on the tag, and it said 5x, so I am not sure what happened here, but I am very disappointed.

Thin
I wanted a basic grey sweat jacket and that’s what I got. However, this one is very thin. It won’t do much to keep you warm when it’s cold out. This would be better for a cool summer evening. I like the drawstrings which are more like shoe lace width. The arm length is a little long. It’s well made with a nice sturdy zipper. Color selection is weird, wish the blue and pink weren’t neon but more navy and softer pink.

Runs small, zipper bubbles
I like that this is 100% cotton. I tend to run hot, and poly blends make it worse, so 100% cotton is essential. I usually wear 2x for a standard fit, 3x for roomy, but after reading reviews, I sized up to a 5x, and I’m glad I did. At 5x, it fits moderately loosely and will stretch out some for even more roominess. For comfort, I’d give this five stars.However, for look, design, and fit, this barely scrapes two stars. First, it’s too short and barely hits at the hip, so no matter if you carry weight in your hips/thighs or boobs/belly, the hem is visually shortening your body and making it appear heavier. Second, the zipper doesn’t lie flat, but instead “bubbles” up weirdly between the boobs and just above the belly button. Third, the pockets are placed at the very middle, so when you actually want to put your hands in the pockets, you’re basically holding your arms in front of your body, which is not only uncomfortable physically, but also looks weird and again contributes to making your body look heavier than it is. The hood is also too small and short to be much use.I bought two, a black and a blue, because it was the only 100% cotton hoodie I could find, and straight out of the package, both were adequate. But as I’ve washed (cold water, delicate dry) and worn, they’ve faded and shrunk. I wear them now for bumming around the house, but wouldn’t wear either out in public. Are they comfortable? Yes. Are they flattering? No. Is it worth the current $12 price (12/6/23)? As long as you don’t care about how it looks, sure.

A word to the wise…
I’ve purchased multiples of these lightweight hoodies in different colors over the years. I take them everywhere and live in them all summer with cold indoor air conditioned offices & buildings. I’m a 2x in most plus sized brands. The2x JMS hoodie fits more like a 1x on me. What I’ve found out by buying these again & again and not truly paying attention to the actual label brand, is that the Hanes Her Way slub hoodies (which are exactly the same hoodie in regular women’s sizing) in XXL fit much more comfortably than the JMS 2x. I can zip the HHW xxl and still have a comfortable fit & feel, but if I zip the JMS 2X, I look & feel like a stuffed sausage lol.Both brands have a similar oddity in that the bright colors are a tad smaller with less stretch than the black & white colors (although not enough of a difference to size up, just something I noticed). Bottom line with these- if you’re sold on the Just My Size branding, go up 1 size, or get the same thing in the Hanes Her Way in XXL.

Nice and Light
I was looking for a light jacket to wear in evenings, or layered under vests, etc. Totally fits the need. I like the softness, weight of fabric, fit….My ONLY complaint is the zipper; its a plastic rather than metal, so it’s difficult to zip and unzip. I work around it by never unzipping completely. I keep the bottom zipped, and pull it over my head. I don’t recall reading the description to see if that was noted. I now know to look for that point, as there was another brand/color I bought at the same time, and I have the exact same issue with the zipper. Its a great jacket

The hoodie is nice and soft and it does what I ordered it for. I ordered the Turquois and Grey ones too. They did not shrink after washing.

Runs small
I liked the weight & feel of the fabric. Unfortunately, I ordered a 2X, which is my normal size, but it was too small and the arms were really tight. I returned that one and got a size 3X. It fit just like the 2X. Too small and tight arms. That one went back as well.

Fabric is the perfect “in between” weight
When I first got these, I was a bit disappointed about the weight of the fabric, it’s very lightweight, almost like a T-shirt material. When that order arrived, I really didn’t think I’d get much use out of them. I was wrong. It was still winter, and I put them in a closet and almost forgot about them. Then on a cooler summer day, I was cold, but it wasn’t warm enough for my normal fleece sweatshirts. Then I remembered these buried in my closet and pulled one out. It was perfect! I was warm, but not overheated.I started to wear them when we went out to eat. I’m always cold in diners and restaurants, but my fleece sweatshirts are usually too much; I’m too warm with them on and too cool with them off, so I wind up draping them over my shoulders, and I’m constantly having to reposition them because they slip down. These lightweight sweatshirts are just perfect in a cold restaurant.I had originally purchased only 2 of these, but after using them all summer long, I bought 4 more. Now with the cooler weather moving in, I’m wearing these around the house, and when I go outside, I put one of my fleece sweatshirts on over them. I have a lot of fleece sweatshirts and wear only a couple of them because my skin is very sensitive and I can’t wear any scratchy material against my skin. After numerous washings, the once soft lining of my heavy fleece sweatshirts gets stiff and scratchy, and for me, very uncomfortable. So basically out of about 4 dozen fleece sweatshirts, I only wear a few of the newest ones that are still kind of soft. I’ve found that I can wear one of these lightweight sweatshirts under my heavy fleece ones, and I’m comfortable because these sweatshirts are just so soft. With using these as liners, I can now go back to using my entire collection of sweatshirts comfortably.As for fit, I always buy any kind of outerwear in a larger size than I actually wear. I do this so I can layer different articles of clothing, depending on how cold I am. I wear an XL, but buy sweatshirts and jackets in either 2X or 3X. The lightweight sweatshirts I purchased are 3X, but I feel they fit more like a 2X, so I would recommend sizing up a bit.All in all I really love these hoodies! If you are like me and are cold most of the time, these will give you the little bit of warmth that you need for those in-between conditions where you’re cold, but a fleece sweatshirt is too warm. These are just right.

I expected a light-weighted jacket and this is exactly that…it is very thin and I really don’t think it could be thinner, however that is what I was looking for…a little something to throw on over a tank etc. if you are looking for warmth…pass on this one.

runs very small
I listened to other reviews and ordered 2 sizes up and it just about fits. I literally have a wal mart light jacket size Large and this one a 3x fits smaller (that’s 4 sizes up!). I am usually a 1x. This company should not be called just my size. I got lucky that I like the jacket to put on when watching TV on chilly nights.

Great value, comfortable and warm, but not too warm.
This hoodie is comfortable (I normally wear a 3X but bought a 4X for a looser fit).It covers my rear, which is important for a lot of us plus-size women.It’s thick enough to keep me comfortable, but not too thick so as not to be too warm.Besides, it’s a GREAT price!
