Spice It Up
Seasoning selection is great! It has many of the seasonings that I use often. Stand is a little cheap and a few holes were dented and bottle would not insert. My husband was able to bend the metal to make it work. Overall, nice product

Sturdy, Spices all forced into commonality
This was a gift. It was solid and well received. The main down side is that all the spices are grated to be fine, including spices which shouldn’t have been, and all the jars have the same large openings causing some things to pour too quickly. Overall I’m pretty happy with it, but it is not perfect.

It is so easy now to reach my spices. There are only 2 that I don’t use. The spices are great.The only negative is I can’t afford the spices after these are empty. I will have to buy a cheaper brand and put those in the bottles.

Beautiful case
I’ll update my review later to 5 stars should the spices hold the taste-test challenge, but one thing I was really impressed by was how well-packaged this product was. No dents or dings on the chrome finish, and it is a lot sturdier than I expected it to be. Made a great gift for my mom after we had to get rid of all of her spices before a fumigation treatment on the house.

Small, compact and functional!
The spice rack is sturdy and its nice that the actual spice containers are glass and not plastic. It does come pre-filled with spices but some of them are pretty useless if you barely use them like me – I.E. pizza seasoning, or herbs de province. It doesn’t come with any blank labels so you have to improvise if you put something else in it and have to re-label it. The rotating feature is absolutely nice but I do hear it creaking like it needs some oil or something, so time will tell how many time it’ll rotate before it gives out.

Great Spice Rack.
I finally gave in and decided to get a spice rack and its probably the best decision I made. It’s been super useful, the spices are all alighed pretty well. I’ve had no trouble finding anything. The caps come off well from the jars and overall its very easy to spin around and grab what you need. I do recommend this spice rack.

What a great spice rack!
We’ve had this wonderful spice rack for two years. It’s so convenient to keep on the counter next to the range and to use that we’ve been using it more and more, mixing different spices together to add to dishes or make great marinades. So we ran empty on a number of bottles, and then remembered we get free refills for 5 years. Kamenstein promptly honored their promise via their very convenient website, our refills are on the way, and we paid only $10 for shipping. What a great company! We are loyal and satisfied customers!

Love the spices and the rack is fine but I gave it 1 star less because it didn’t come with any way to register it so I could get the spices each year and that was a big factor in why I chose these.

Free refills are NOT free.
While the product itself is great and works well — when you go to the website to get the first set of free refills you come to realize that the refills cost you more than the spice rack itself — as you have to pay shipping and handling costs. They inform you upfront that you will have to pay shipping for the cost of the free refills for the spices, but I did not expect to have to pay $22.00 for 26 bags of 0.30 oz in each spice bag.Not worth the shipping cost when I paid 23.00 for the spice rack. Not exactly free!!!!

Unpacking: Some lids were loose, no harm no foul.Look and function.Pro: Great look and feel with no sharp edges from manufacturing. I’ve owned three of these sets and haven’t been let down.Con: The angles could be sharper to allow the spices to utilize gravity to be more secure. At the current angle it still does a good job.Refills, and why that got one star knocked off instead of several like others did.Pros: for 25.00 you can refill your entire rack once a year like you should. With the number of things we set to auto pay and monthly subscriptions we have these days you shouldn’t even bat an eye at the cost. If you don’t need all of them filled you should still do it to keep your spices fresh.Cons: it’s advertised as free without any notification of fees and handling that are easily found by the consumer.Personal notes:I ordered this for the look and basic spice refill. We just moved and a lot of my spices didn’t make it. I won’t be using their refills as I generally keep two years of everything in vacuum bags in cold storage. There’s been several times I’ve randomly needed something for a recipe and something like Savory was just there for me from this kit… And Bay leaves.

Bought my second one; uses vertical space well
Turns easily, wipes easily, jars and shaker inserts are great. Wash up well.I would frankly prefer to buy it unfilled and fill with my own herbs and spices as I’m a little particular about them. But this is my second “tower”. I’ve had the first for over 10 years now.

It’s worth the money
I’ve been using this product for a few years now, and I still love it. It has earned it’s right to get an amazon review from me. The jar came already filled up with spices, and a link to free refills. The refills aren’t 100% free (have to pay shipping fees), but that’s acceptable to me. If I ever move I’m taking this product with me, and I’ll rebuy it if it ever breaks. I think it’s worth more than I spent on, given how much spices at the grocery store cost.

Good all around spices with holder.
All the spices were in glass jars, with a seal on the top, with nutritional information in the package. Maybe 1/4 of the spices are things I wouldn’t use, so maybe I’ll empty their jars and use them for something else. The spinning rack seems to be pretty sturdy, no problems holding the jars and spins without issue.

Spices are limited
I really like this spice rack and the economy of getting refills for five years. But you should be aware that the spices are somewhat limited and this is not necessarily going to save you from buying essentials. Kamenstein doesn’t seem to be like a spice emporium or anything.I specifically wanted cumin and tarragon as I use these a ton, but they weren’t included, nor are they available as refill options. They did have 27 others. But of those (note that you already have 20 of them. It’s *not* 27 ~ON TOP~ of the 20 you buy to start, rather 27 total) a couple of are blended with salt. E.g. Not celery *seed* and garlic *powder* but celery SALT and garlic SALT. Might be nice for some, but I don’t like that.Also speaking of salt, salt is not a spice. It’s included in the rack as though it were, which feels a little penny-pinchy to me on the part of the company. I don’t like that either.All in all, there are minor flaws with this product, imo, and things one might want take into consideration before purchasing so as to avoid any surprises or misconceptions about the full value they’re getting, but it’s a really nice idea and a nice rack, and it definitely is still convenient and easy to get refills.Just don’t expect to get anything your heart desires.

Multifunctional
I have a lot of health issues, and I take a lot of meds. I wanted a more organized way to keep all of my meds together- especially since they can come in varying sizes of containers. I took the spices it came with and have those in my kitchen in other containers. So far I’m pretty happy with it!

Very good spice rack & Free Spices included
You can’t ask for a better deal. I previously bought this at a membership store but it got lost in a move. I was very happy to see Amazon had it and the price was even better. It comes filled with fresh spices and I think you can ask them for free refills. It’s a great gift too.

I never write reviews, but here I am super happy!
This product was a surprise just from opening because I didn’t even read that it came with all the spices already in the containers!! To cancel out some of the bad reviews: People are upset that it doesn’t come with “more frequently used” spices but that’s subjective, if anything it’s better to have a variety of spices I’ve never tried to see if I like them. Were there some spices where I was like “I’ll never use this?” Yes. But I just dumped them out and replaced them with some that I use a lot like garlic powder. Also, someone was mad that the containers were so small and had to keep the original container for the spice. (I don’t think they’re small but-) I love this because it’s not bulky looking and I don’t mind refilling at all. I was planning on filling them with my own spices anyways (cause I didn’t know), and am happy that since I’m moving into a new place I don’t have to go out and buy a lot of these spices. And it doesn’t bother me (having different spices than the labels) because I was planning on replacing the labels with my own cut from my Cricut maker anyways. If you want a lot of spices, in an extremely accesible way, and don’t want to waste cabinet space (and have counter space) I say buy it! It doesn’t even take up a lot of space which I tried to show with my picture. This product beats having spices in front of more spices in a cabinet, where I have to take them all out just to find one in the back.
