Good balance when holding in hand. Sufficient blade length. Cuts well. BUT the packaging is atrociously frustrating to open. Get your pliers ready. It says Lifetime limited warranty, but you have to go on their website to find out what they mean by “limited”.

It’s like I’m a toddler trying to use grown up scissors
I was unable to get a comfortable grip because they’re too big; more hand — not just fingers — went through the handle hole. When I spread my fingers apart as though to get ready to cut, I wasn’t able to open them all the way .. maybe half way. It was like I was a toddler trying to use grown up scissors. My hands are not overly small; I wear a medium in women’s gloves.

Excellent product that cuts through all those plastics that my old scissors failed to do. I keep a pair handy in a holder on the refrigerator and use them daily to cut meat and vegetable packaging. They are also useful for trimming flower stems.

Zero complaints on these sheers! I’m in love with them and they match my kitchen perfectly on top of being able to handle all our cooking & prep needs. I hate the shield. It’s gotten dirty on the inside and I have to use those annoying straw brushes to clean it. If you store in a block, 10/10 and toss the shield. In a drawer, 9.9.

Great product at a great price
For anyone looking for kitchen shears, stop. These are the ones to get. They work great and don’t cost a lot. I had a much more expensive pair that got lost in a move, and I didn’t feel like paying a fortune again. I took a chance on these, and I feel smart. The only difference between these and the other “fancy” ones, is that these don’t come apart for washing. But other than that they are just as sturdy and cut through everything.

Best Kitchen Scissors
My favorite scissors. This is my fourth or fifth pair, you know how they disappear in the house, lol. Awesome. Wash well in sink, wash well in dishwasher. My husband leaves his pair in the utility sink, and they do not have any rust. Work great for cutting the dumb plastic protective packaging. Cutting chicken breasts versus a knife. I bought this pair for trimming and pruning my plants. Comfortable to hold. Handles have a nice grippy cover, so they are secure in your hands. Good size.

Just buy the scissors
I grew up poor. Spending $8 on kitchen scissors sounded absolutely insane, but these are NICE. So much nicer than the Dollar Store ones I was used to. I’m currently in the process of swapping all my small kitchen gadgets to KitchenAide brand because the quality is just so much better than what I’m used to. And I know, it seems frivolous to spend $8 when you can get a pair for under $2, but those wear out, get loose, get dull, break, and need to be replaced. These scissors are so nice that my roommate and I frequently remark that they were absolutely worth the $8.I sound like a lunatic, but they’re good scissors.Seriously, I’ve used them on cheesecloth, plants, herbs, packaging, paper, and even on pizza one drunken night (don’t worry, I wash them after every use) and they’re still just so nice.

One of the best pair of scissors I have owned. They are sharp and cut through many different types of materials. I used them for plastic, paper and boxes. The cut is clean and cuts very easily.
