Great Purchase…Will Be Buying More As Gifts
Okay this little oven simply rocks. My daughter became instantly obsessed with it for hours. We had to physically remove it from her so she’d go to bed LOL! First thing she did when she woke up was come running out yelling baking time baking time. It’s seriously that fun.Well made out of durable plastic and the pieces click together nicely but I had to pull the pizza apart because it was too difficult for my 3 yr old. The colors are vibrant and the two levels of volume makes this bearable for parents that hate noisy toys. One song teaches to wash hands before cooking which is now her favorite thing to pretend. The slider functions as a timer but if she pushes the song button or the stove top button that stops the timer game which is a counting game. That frustrates me personally but she didn’t notice.Would buy over and over and will be buying a few as gifts. Don’t hesitate to buy this it is a great busy toy and everything fits inside so can travel. Very very pleased.

So much activity crammed into one toy your aspiring cook will LOVE it!
My 2.5 year old loves this oven. There’s so much for him to do and play with and he loves dancing to the songs and breaking the pizza apart and passing out the food and serving the cupcakes and pretending to cook. For those who have complained everything doesn’t fit in the closed oven, it does, you just have to think like a 2 year old because he’s managed to cram it all in and close the door. There’s counting and hand washing encouragement, just so much activity in one little toy. And for those who complain about the egg constantly being sung about I have to say get a sense of humor! I think the egg industry paid Leap frog off to mention eggs on everything (eggy cupcakes, eggy pizza, bread? Put an egg on it!) but it’s so humorous that we laugh. If Leapfrog has taught me anything: if all else fails put an Egg on it! Life lesson right there.

Nice features!
Bought this for our almost 2 yr old granddaughter and she loved it! One of the cooktop burners makes a sizzling sound when you set a pan on it, which is great! Has two volume settings, easy to use buttons and oven door. Very toddler friendly. If the child is into make believe they will love “cooking” you an egg, or “baking” you a cupcake! Really great gift and would recommend!

My granddaughter loved this toy
Bought this for my two years old (almost 3 year old) granddaughter. I thought it would be a nice surprise when she came to visit for Thanksgiving since we don’t get to see her often. We were pleasantly surprised that she played with it for the entire visit. She had fun pushing the buttons for the sound effects and enjoyed counting along with the oven. She also enjoyed being able to “serve” her cupcakes and muffins to the family. Her favorite though was pushing the button for the sizzling sound (intended for when the pan is placed on the pretend burner for cooking the egg). It was the perfect size for her little hands and she was able to put all of the items inside the stove to take it home with her at the end of our family gathering.

Put an egg on it!
We bought this oven for our son’s 2nd birthday. He loves noise and things with doors that open, so on that it’s a huge win. It’s also incredibly funny. Even our teens sing “Put an egg on it, put an egg on it!” Some might call it weird, but to us it’s hysterical! My only beef is that the door doesn’t click closed or give any sort of reinforcement for being closed beyond singing, so it tends to fall open a lot.By the way, all the food items DO fit in the oven for storage with no problem.Update after 6mos of use: this little oven is still in use almost daily by our 2.5yo, and his 5 & 8yo siblings. I’m still enjoying surprise “treats” of plastic cupcakes on tiny plates. No regrets!

Great little oven for little ones!
My 1 year old son got this for Christmas and absolutely loves it! His older brother, who is 4, also likes to pretend to cook on it when playing with his play grill. The pieces are durable and fit inside the oven for storage when not being played with. The oven itself is big enough for little hands to play with but small enough to store away when not using. Each food has a specific spot it can fit in on the oven rack and the pizza and bread break apart to “serve” on separate plates. It’s a great toy for kids to play with and use their imagination. So far the toy has held up well and hope it will continue to last through my two little ones.

Put an egg on it?
I’m surprised this toy got so many stars. I’m a mom of 4 so I’ve basically owned every toddler toy possible at this point. I wanted something new for my youngest, who just turned 2. I bought this because it got decent reviews and looked cute. Unfortunately, I don’t love this toy as much as I would like to. Usually these toys have several songs, but this one has hardly any songs on it so you hear the same ones over and over. And the songs are about putting eggs on food that shouldn’t have eggs. I don’t get it. Do people in other regions put eggs on their pizza? My older kids are just continually complaining about the toy because of the music, and I have to hear constantly “why does it only sing about eggs?” Also the toy has quite a few pieces, and I would love if ALL the pieces would fit into the oven. I may even be able to overlook the annoying music if it was easier to store all the pieces. Most of the items fit inside but not all, so I do find it hard to store. At this point, most of the pieces are missing and I’m left with an oven singing about putting eggs on pizza, a cupcake, and an oven tray.

Egg apologist
If I had been aware that this oven would bring such classics as “put an egg on it” into my home, I might have asked my son to pick out a different present for his sister.“If you have two beautiful cupcakes 1-2, if that’s not enough, I’ll tell you what to do, put an egg on it! if you like eggy cupcakes, put an egg on it.”Lol… it has this same song with all the food it comes with. It also exclaims randomly, “Eggs are great on everything.” I mean if my husband loved me as much as this oven loves eggs, we’d have more than four kids.It has completely changed our lives as now our come back of choice has changed from “rub some bacon on it” or “your mom” to “put an egg on it”Thanks leap frog! The kids love this thing and it has changed us to our core.

Put an egg on it….
So this toy is awesome, my daughter loves it and plays with it often. The songs are definitely catchy but one of the songs says “Put an egg on it” where it doesn’t make sense 😂 literally I’ll be singing put an egg on it randomly from a song that it was randomly placed in. Besides that song it’s a great toy

Cute but Door doesn’t close
I think this toy is really fun and cute. My 1.5 and almost 5 year old both love it. I like all the sounds it makes and the pieces that come with it. However the door will not stay closed. It is annoying because I have to hold it closed in order to use all the features. Also it makes it harder to store away since the door won’t stay closed. The latch is too small or something. It almost makes me want to exchange it.

Put an Egg on It
I read reviews before purchasing this item for my 2yo daughter, and the biggest selling point for me was the volume control. No complaints there, it works great! What surprises me is that no one is talking about the influence BIG EGG had on this toy’s design. Who knew the egg lobby was so strong? The oven has 2 main songs, and one of them (repeated with minor variations) tells the children to “put an egg on it, yeah yeah” even when it doesn’t make sense. “If you like eggy cupcakes, put an egg on it!” So strange.

Great toy for young toddlers
My daughter had this when she was younger and she loved it, played with it for years. There are 2 volume options plus an off switch for the music and phrases! The songs will get stuck in your head but they do help with counting. The stove sizzles when you put the pan on it, so cool. The slider tells you how hot it will be depending on the number you chose and also counts down and says other phrases. And then the chef hat button goes through the songs. It comes with a great assortment of food without being too much stuff you don’t need and it’s made really well. We still have some plates and food from her set. I bought this for my nephew who’s turning two!

Perfect for toddlers
My 1.5 year old toddler loves to pretend to do the same things as mom. This is normally fun and safe, except when it comes to the kitchen. I cook a lot and the real oven was rapidly becoming an issue. She wanted to play with it, that’s seriously dangerous, I kept saying no, toddler meltdowns ensued. I went online, bought this toy for her, and it is a HIT. Its cheerful music and sounds draw her in and the fake food is just the right weight and size for her to play with. It’s doing the job of keeping her entertained while safely away from my real oven as I cook. I have been pleasantly surprised that it also opened up other ways to play for her that she loves. She pulls colorful blocks from other toys to add to her frying pan, pretends to cook for her baby doll, and now uses the oven set with those things to pantomime what she wants when she’s hungry. For a young toddler who hasn’t started talking yet, these are all amazing things that dramatically open up her ability to express herself, play, and develop motor skills. Thank you developers for the great toy!Ps: if you also have a tactile kid who likes to mimic adult skills then buy the purse that this company sells. The Melissa and Doug pretend makeup kit is also great (just modify the graphics on it).

Great toy that my kids keep coming back to.
I bought this Number Lovin Oven for my niece for a Christmas gift. It arrived packaged very well, but my 2 year old son was banging on the gigantic pile of amazon boxes that seems to fill up my entry way this time each year. Well, his little hammer was able to cause enough pressure to make the toy say some of its cute expressions. He wouldn’t stop begging me to open it, so I figured I would let him play with it a little in its box. Yeah, don’t know what I was thinking with that. His response to seeing this cute oven was “Ooooohhhh!!!” & “Open, open, open!!!” I thought it seemed really cute and since he was so interested in it (and it was close to his birthday) I couldn’t resist letting him have it. Needless to say, he adores this thing!! He played with it all afternoon, BY HIMSELF!!!! For any other parents of Littles out there needing some free time, hours of playtime means hours of ME time!! I was so glad I let him have it. When his big sister got home (5 yrs old) he showed her the ropes and she was even excited to play with it. YES! Huge parent win!!! We’ve had this toy for about 3 weeks and my children play with it just about every day. They serve food to me and my husband, and the dogs and I can honestly say that I think this toy will be used for a couple of years.Back to my niece; since I know my kids love it, I’m sure my 3 year old niece will love it too. I got right back on amazon and ordered another one and it was actually a few bucks cheaper than what I paid for it the first time. Bonus!!

This toy is beyond adorable. I got it for my niece but my kids wanted to keep it. I like that there are a variety of ways to interact with it between the buttons and food items. It did come with a scratch on the front but I didn’t have time to exchange it and 2 year old’s are forgiving about things like that, so it worked out.

A good one!
Bought this for my 2 year old niece. She absolutely loved it!! Because of her I know the songs like the back of my hand, I’m not complaining because this has helped her to count easily while “baking”. In terms of volume control, it’s a bit loud, sometimes I have to turn it off and tell her it’s gone to sleep for a bit. We still have it undamaged I’d say it’s pretty durable.

Both of my boys LOVE LOVE LOVE this toy
Both of my boys LOVE LOVE LOVE this toy! They are 3.5 and 16 months. We bought this mainly for the one year old, but my older child likes it a lot too! This was the first toy that they were able to use to really play pretend together. We don’t have room for a play kitchen, but this has really inspired a lot of pretend cooking and eating from both of my children. The songs on this are really cute and not that annoying. My husband and I really chuckle at the “Put an egg on it” tune, since I have been apt to put eggs on random dinners for years! My baby loves feeding the cupcakes and pizza to his trains, stuffed animals, puppets, and us! Everything stores right inside. There is volume control easily accessible. I love that this isn’t pink! My younger one in particular loves pretending to feed baby dolls, cooking, etc — and so many of the related toys are available in pink, pink, or more pink. Not this one! We love our blue oven! We have a hard time cleaning this up at our house because as soon as it is put away, the little one is right there at his oven again. I highly recommend this one to number lovers and cooks everywhere!

Highly recommend for a one year old
Got the deal for thirteen while on sale before Christmas. Came with the frustration free packaging and showed what it was on outside of brown box when it arrived. Thus not great of trying to gift and surprise someone. My older kids saw it, so I ended up giving it to my youngest the day we got it. . Overall, my one year old son loves it! He loves playing with the frying oan, the food pieces, and making it sing. The songs are a bit weird if your listening as a parent (it basically sings about putting an egg on it yeah yeah, to most songs – for example to do so for the pizza and cupcake lol). My 9 year old finds that hilarious and we now sing the funny lyrics to my one year old whenever those verses come up – so he’s even extra pleased. Would highly recommend for a one year old. His birthday is this week. First few weeks he had it he didn’t really know how to use the oven, but this week he is opening and closing it with glee while trying to put anything he can inside. Get this! Won’t be disappointed!

So cute!
This is the cutest toy!! I’m an early Christmas shopper and had been eyeing this toy for a few months. I finally decided to purchase it because the pink one FINALLY went down to $21 as opposed to it always being more expensive than the white. Anyway, this toy is cute! I’m positive my 3 year old daughter will love it. The only thing that I found a bit odd are the lyrics to the songs it sings. It asks you to put an egg on the cupcake. I mean, I guess it could make sense if you’re baking, but who knows. haha Anyway, I’m sure my little one will love it on Christmas morning. I may even come back to purchase a second one for my 1 year old niece.

Leapfrog classic lovely for little kids
I already had the teapot for my older daughter and I wanted a brand new toy for my toddler, we really have enjoyed all Leapfrog toys, but specially the teapot is delightful, well this little oven is as same as good idea for kids, as it has a lot of little items that fit in the oven. It comes with a little pan with a sunny egg and you can place it in the little stove and makes a very real sound like frying the egg which is adorable and my daughter loved. Also it comes with a pizza that can be split in pieces so she can serve us pizza while also we share the little cupcakes. The material is super durable and resistant, these toys are lifetime and I have never regret buying them, they have used it for years and they are still in very good shape, the little eyes makes it more cute.

Really nice toy oven with Realistic play food
I got this for my granddaughter for Christmas and she loves it. She is 13 months now and is just starting to be able to really play with food (she’ll give you one of the items and say “Num Num”. She doesn’t understand the oven concept yet but enjoys the talking/sound effects. It’s a toy that she’s having some fun with now and will have even more fun with later. When my kids were young, one of their favorite things to play with was their play kitchen and food. They had quite a collection (that I wish I would have saved for a few decades!). A lot of the play food out there is pretty boring in my opinion. Sometimes they are no more than a piece of single color plastic that is vaguely shaped like the real item. This set has brightly and realistic looking food. The pizza and bread loaf even break into smaller pieces to make them even more fun. (And the pieces are plenty big enough for the under 3 crowd. A great gift for little ones!

Kinda odd songs?
The media could not be loaded.
Sorry little oven. I don’t like eggy cupcakes. 😅I believe a lot more creativity could’ve been put into these songs because most of them simply have the catchphrase “put an egg on it, yea yea” even with the cupcakes which is ewwww. Other than that the set itself is pretty cute with break apart pieces for the bread and pizza with a little Pan for the egg and much more. I personally would’ve loved to have both stove burners make the sizzle noise. Here’s a little video of the product. This is definitely a cute gift for any little kid who is into food toys!
