Learning to count with Power Puppy is easy! Press a number and the dog will repeat the command as many times as indicated. You can have him bark up to 9 times so you can count with him!
As with any dog, tell him where to go! With the incorporated gesture control function, he will obey your every move. Once gesture control is activated, tell Power Puppy where to go with your hand. This smart little dog will follow your instructions!
Power Puppy can be programmed to reproduce many actions. But his role doesn’t stop there. It’s not just an educational robot that teaches kids the basics of coding. Awful
Ordered for a birthday present and when received item it was in a plastic bag inside a brown box. Item was dirty, marks all over it, disgusting! Ears were broken off, missing one leg. Shipping box was NOT damaged meaning it was purposely sent this way. Can’t believe I was even shipped this item for $70..

Front arms don’t work
We got this for my sons birthday. We charged it, followed the directions and got it all set up for him. We gave it to him and he was so excited. And the front arms don’t even move. So it can’t even move around or do the tricks it’s supposed to.

The dogs front legs are so loose that he can’t stand up.
My son got the Lexibrook Power Puppy for his birthday this year from his grandfather. He absolutely adores this dog and he goes everywhere with my son. He even has a real dog bed next to his own bed in his room. Today though, sadly, when the Power Puppy was walking next to my son I saw his front legs slide forward and the dog couldn’t walk anymore. He can’t do tricks or even stand. When I picked it up to see what was wrong the front legs were so loose that they swayed. Is there somewhere that I can get him repaired or is this a defect? I desperately need to get this dog fixed because my son has grown extremely fond of him. I am willing to send him in somewhere for repairs but I don’t know where or even what to do at this point. But, I don’t think it’s fair to have to purchase a new dog. He still makes all the sounds but he just can’t move. Can someone please help me get him fixed? Can someone please tell me were to send him?

broken – 2 out of 2
got two of these as a gift for my daughters. one has front legs that don’t move, and the other has a circuit issue where it doesn’t power up at all. it’s not the remote or battery because both batteries and remotes work on the one with the front leg issue, but neither work on the other toy puppy. as my drill sergeant used to say, “that’s HOT Garbage!”

Daughter loves it
Daughter really likes it, though works best on hard floors rather than carpet. Does lots of different combinations of moved. Comes with rechargeable battery which is good. The only real negative thing is the volume control doesn’t seem yo work.

Onze werkte niet, hij hapert na enkele uurtjes, moeten zijn batterijen uithalen in de hoop dat hij terug even werkt maar dan nog het ergste, hij loopt helemaal niet ook daar blijft hij hangen, heeft nog nooit geen enkele stap gezet,, jammer, hopelijk mankeert er niets aan de 2de want zoontje van 6 vind het een ontzettend schattig hondje en triest om hem op te sturen om te laten maken;) ahja en er zit geen afstandsbediening bij zoals de foto wel laat blikken.. groetjes

Cute robodog flawed by short battery life/hassle of recharging, poor traction on some floors
The media could not be loaded.
I’m likely to return this product because charging it is a pain and the battery just doesn’t last if used by children (think daily recharges if not more frequently). Though the included 3.7V battery is rechargeable, it requires unscrewing the battery bay (which seems originally designed for typical AA batteries). The battery then must be plugged into a specially supplied USB-A charger. Not something a busy parent wants to do daily. Plug and rechargeability like a phone would have been preferred, if feasible, or a larger battery.Lastly, the thing can’t seem to find any traction on 1/4″ smooth tiled floors, nor my ultra low pile smooth carpet. any imperfections in the surface trip it up. Lame.

One happy grandson
A great gift for my 7 year old Grandson. I promised him a puppy for his birthday ( to his mother’s horror) knowing what I was sending.He FaceTimed me from Australia so excited and demonstrated all the actions he had taught his puppy.A wonderful experience for all of us. Building memories, priceless.

Product dead, and company unavailable
Right out of the box this Robot Dog did not work. We tried charging the battery for 2 hours and when it still would not work my husband checked the battery with a meter and it’s not holding a charge. It’s a super simple battery setup so we tried contacting the seller to see if they could just replace the battery without having to return the whole dang thing, but the phone number goes to some conference room rental place and the website will not accept any attempt to contact them from there. Had to request a refund through Amazon. We will be avoiding this manufacturer for the replacement

False/misleading advertising!
The description of this dog on Amazon is very misleading- from claims that this dog will read to your child or that there is any real learning re: basic programing (you can press a button so the dog will remember a sequence of commands like sit dance lay down – but there’s no coding or new tricks that can be taught) . The dog does not respond to voice commands. This is a fine item if all you want is a remote control dog that is kind of cute and responds to being pet on the head.

Es un robot de perro pequeñito, pero para el precio que tiene , está bien porque tiene funciones de andar y moverse y grabar sonidos. La grabadora no tiene mucha calidad y se oye un poco mal, en nuestro caso pero anda y se mueve bien. La pega que como se enciende con un pequeño movimiento de cabeza, con nada mi hija lo enciende y lo deja encendido, igual las pilas no le durarán mucho

Drains battery quickly
I bought this for my granddaughter who’s 3. She loves it and so does her 4 year old brother however, there is no on/off switch, you need to nod its head up/down. Three & four year olds don’t have the forethought to do this when they’ve finished playing with it so, my daughter is constantly changing the batteries.

La caja vino sin empaquetar y rota. Menos mal que el repartidor me llamó antes para avisarme porque era el regalo de mi hija y lo hubiese visto.Aparte de eso, decir que 70€ me parece excesivo para lo que hace. Tiene sonidos de animales y se mueve para imitar ciertas acciones.La verdad es que mi hija lo usó un rato y no le ha vuelto a hacer mucho caso. Quizá a otros niños les llame más la atención…

Sunken ears
This unicorn is a great toy, but the ears keep randomly falling into the toy. I then have to try and turn it around inside and pull it pack to position for it to fall back in a couple of days later.Will be contacting supplier to get replacement.
