Helps, to a degree
I got this to wear under a formal dress for an event. I am 5’3” and 150 lbs but I mainly just wanted something to smooth out my belly area after having had 3 csections and having residual severe diastasis recti from my pregnancies. I wanted to go with large after reading a review by a woman about my size, but it wouldn’t have arrived in time for the event so I took a chance and went with medium. I’m glad I did because large wouldn’t have done much it looks like. This kind of “takes the edge off”. Nothing drastic unfortunately. It smooths out my lower belly which is what I’m most self conscious about, but it’s not entirely smooth in profile, but at least the very bottom csection shelf doesn’t show too badly (there is still a slight bulge there). Another thing, I get dizzy and lightheaded when wearing shapewear so I’m doing a test run today to make sure I can wear it tomorrow, and so far it’s pretty ok, but I do have trouble getting a full breath in when I sit. Standing is better. Also the straps dig into my shoulders and feels like it’s pinching a nerve on one side. As several other reviewers said, it’s true that getting it over your hips is a process, but don’t start thinking it’s too small if you have trouble. Once it’s over your hips it should go up easily (otherwise if it doesn’t maybe you do need to size up.) Overall it’s ok, I was hoping for a lot more help in the belly area. But one small added bonus is I feel like it helps my posture (I have kyphosis or a rounded upper back). Also, I have not tried using the bathroom in it and am not looking forward to that because it seems way too easy to accidentally get it dirty and then you’d have to take it off so kind of stressful.

Waist control who??
This little shape-wear is so comfortable. I am a newbie to shape-wear, but I was able to wear this to a wedding where I danced the entire time and never felt restricted or uncomfortable in this. Those with large chests beware though!!! This will keep your waist looking nice, but forget any control or support in the chest. It honestly slide to the side on my chest the entire night, but I had a bra on helping there so it wasn’t a big deal nor was it uncomfortable. If you’re looking for shape wear that will support your chest though this is not it.

Best body shaper I’ve ever tried
I have tried Spanx and other more expensive body shape-ware and this one is better by far. It gave me a pretty flat stomach, and no bulges anywhere. I normally wear size 12 and ordered Medium, which was a perfect fit. Will be ordering another one, just to have a spare.

Gotta Hold Your Pee
This worked out pretty well for me. It smoothed out some of the rolls I like to pretend I don’t have. This complaint is really no fault of the product really but feel it should be said because it wasn’t anything I was thinking about. Since this is a full body suit you have to take off your dress completely if you have to go to the bathroom. They have a little slit in the crotch but that doesn’t really do me any good as a woman. I don’t know what the solution would be because I like the full suit because it prevents the spill over and helps with the back rolls. Just not sure it’s worth the hassle of undressing to pee.

Amazing
I read several reviews and decided to go for it, I was a medium according to the size chart but I opted for the small, it was an adventure getting past my chubby thighs but once I got it on, it smoothed out every imperfection, it was incredibly comfortable too! I immediately ordered another one in a different color. 10 stars for this one!

Good, not great
So I have worn this many times over the several months that I’ve owned it, and, while I’m still glad I bought it, it could be *so* much better. It definitely sculpts and smooths, especially tummy and back areas. I love that you can wear whatever bra (or not!) that your outfit requires. It’s supportive, too. However, the legs CONSTANTLY roll up. Maybe if you have twig legs this would be less of an issue, but it is the single worst thing about this garment and renders it almost unwearable. If you have to sit or move around at all-anything other than standing still or very moderate walking-the very thin leg material will be rolled up all the way to your panty line. Over and over. All night long.As other reviewers have mentioned, the slit to pee, while seemingly large, will give you false confidence. You will pee on yourself. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but it will absolutely happen. And there’s not a learning curve about it either—it just hit-or-miss.The other two smaller things are that the straps have begun fraying and coming apart, even after only a handful of wears. Also, the seam across the lower back of the garment actually creates a look of back fat creases, even if you don’t naturally have one there. It would be much more flattering for the seam to be elsewhere (or totally seamless there!).So, yeah, it does some of its purported job, but I know I will be dealing with a host of issues is I choose to wear it.

Great to wear with sweater dresses
Very comfortable and slimming under my dress. I’m 78 years old so a lot of lumps to smooth. However I had to get an XL and I am size 10 so I would say they run small.

Most comfortable shape wear I’ve worn.
It was a super soft material and having straps up around the shoulders was great because it didn’t roll down. The thighs were comfy too and kept the middle part in place. Going to the bathroom was slightly inconvenient, but worth it. It wasn’t too bad to manage in a dress.Ps I bought it on major sale so of course I love it more, but I’m still thinking it’s worth full price.

GOODBYE TO LUMPS!
You know those clothes you have that you’d love to wear but can’t? They fit, kind of, if only all those bumps at your midriff didn’t show. Well now they will!I bought this just for those shirts I have that look just a little too tight, and I’m very pleased. I bought extra large, just in case, and it fits very comfortably. Possibly could have gotten a large, but I’m happy with this size because I don’t feel “stuffed in.” The price is excellent, esp compared to Spanx.

So, I put it on backwards….
Yep. I put this thing on backwards. Don’t judge. After the 5 minute struggle to pull it over my booty it looked RIDICULOUS. My lower abdomen stuck out, my booty was flat, and I had the double boob thing going on upstairs. My body actually looked WORSE with it on. Horrified, I took it off with the immediate plan to return it and give a bad review. Back into the package it went.Once I came onto Amazon to start the return process, I realized that I was DUMB and put the darn thing on BACKWARDS. Don’t make that mistake. TRUST ME.Once I tried it on CORRECTLY, and all the body parts were where they were supposed to be, I was amazed to find out that the garment did its job nicely. Remember, compression and smoothness comes at a PRICE. Getting this thing on burns some calories. If you have no booty, this garment won’t give you one, but if you do, your butt stays the same shape, just smoothed out. That could be good, or that could be really bad. Only you know the shape of your butt. The thighs were comfortable, it didn’t roll up and it didn’t cut in. Most importantly, the thigh length and fabric is perfect to prevent the dreaded THIGH RUB.Moving on, the front of the garment does a decent job of holding the lower abdomen and belly in. Now, this is no magical shaper, but it does a good job of making whatever you have closer to an hourglass shape and smooth. Jiggly parts don’t jiggle and you can actually breathe once it’s on. As for the strange half bra top…. no double boob. I’d recommend wearing a good bra. There’s no point in sucking everything in if you’re just gonna let the girls sag. The purpose of the extra fabric up top appears to be to smooth out the efforts to keep “the girls” facing front. This is nice for those that have side spillage. If you don’t know what that is, lucky you. Once the drama of getting this thing on is over with, the garment is decently comfortable. The straps could be thicker, but they weren’t cutting in.The crotch hole is definitely not pleasant, but neither is lumpy skin and dimply cellulite. I guess you gotta choose your pain. There’s nothing easy about a strategic pee stance while wearing a shaper. If I enjoyed squats I WOULDN’T NEED A SHAPER. “Number 2” is IMPOSSIBLE so don’t wear this after drinking coffee or eating bad sushi. You’ll regret it.All in all, I decided to keep this shaper. I’ve learned that until I can lose the extra weight, the torture of wearing these things is worth it. Oh, and don’t wear it backwards either. 4 stars for a great design. 1 star removed for not making the front obvious to dumb people.I am 63 inches tall and weigh 150. Bust is 36DD, waist is 31, hips 39 and thigh of 23. I should have ordered a large with those measurements but I got the medium because I have been steadily losing weight. I chose black because black is slimming right? I need all the help I can get!

Super value, great shapewear
Bought this item over 5 years ago and it was everything that I needed in a shapewear; it was firm but not uncomfortable, easy to get into, and held me in, in the right places; my tummy, the folds on upper and lower back also under my arms plus my thighs going almost to my knees without showing if ever I wore a high split garment. They never rolled up at my thighs and I’m a size 18/20. However, my first pair became a bit shabby and I decided that since I got excellent wear/use from them,I would stick to the tried and true brand and buy them again. I bought 2 pairs, great decision as they did everything that the first pair did except they were now rolling up at the thighs all the way to my crutch. Still they were not uncomfortable, just extremely annoying. I’m trying to figure a way how to not have them roll up. Would I buy them again, the answer is absolutely YES!

Extremely effective product! Love it!
This is the best shapewear I have ever owned. I was amazed at how I appeared to magically drop a size immediately after putting this on. I have never purchased a shapewear garment that cost under $100, and was surprised by how budget friendly this item actually is. Since I do not leave the house without my shapewear under my clothes, having a quality product was/is extremely important to me.I was purchasing a few items for our yearly Florida vacation, when I noticed my older shapewear was not working at all. I had purchased my older shapewear a year ago, and it had recently started to get rips and tears along the seams, in undesirable places. I looked at 3 different local stores trying to find something new, that would make a great impact to my midsection. However, I had no luck finding a singlet that would fit the bill. So I researched Amazon for a few days, when I saw this product. I decided to purchase this particular product because of the positive reviews, the price, and I was starting to run out of time, as my trip was fast approaching.Although the price of this item was extremely budget friendly, it also made me just a tad bit concerned about the quality of the product. However, when I received this product, any concern I had quickly dissipated. I immediately tried this on, and was just blown away by the results and impact this made to my stomach, hips, and back area. I wear a size 10/large in tops and bottoms, but I decided to try this in a size medium (black). I have been on a healthy lifestyle kick for the past 18 months, and plan on losing about 25-30 lbs in the next 6-12 months (I’ve lost 70lbs so far) . So, I figured I would just purchase a medium in case I do lose more weight, as I didn’t want to purchase another one in 2 months (unless I had to). Then of course I ended up worrying that this would be too small, and that I wouldn’t be able to get it on. However, purchasing this item in a size smaller ended up working really well for me. The smaller size also seemed to helped make a bigger impact on the effectiveness of the shapewear. This shapewear was easy to put on and take off. This shapewear is equipped with a hole down south, but I always just slide it all the way down when using the restroom too, to be on the safe side. The material is light and breathable, which I find to be a nice touch.Overall:I am extremely happy with this shapewear and definitely feel it was worth the price. This product was exactly as described and seems to be well made. I will be purchasing another one when I wear this one out. I was impressed by the quality and effectiveness of this shapewear and have recommended this product to a friend. I have been using this product for over a month now and have washed it many times. It is still in great shape and I have not had any issues with it tearing, ripping, snagging, etc.

Perfect!
You don’t even want to know how many of this type of undergarment I tried before finding this one! And ON SALE!! YAY! It smooths out all my bumps and bulges, isn’t too long in the legs for my 5’1″ frame. Love that the top come up all the way to beneath my bra, AND I get to wear my own bra! Yay! Not uncomfortable at all. Wore it for about 5 hours and no discomfort. Though it is made for ease of bathroom use in the flap in the crotch, I chose not to do that but wait until I got home. But, I think it would have been an easily accomplished task. The price was so good and I look so good in my new dresses in it, I bought one in each color and told my niece about it! I got a M and it was perfect.

Would have been the answer if the right size
This was a last minute order for a wedding. My dress was a tiny bit tight. I followed the size guideline for my order and it was just too small. It was super nice fabric and I wished I’d had it in the correct size. The other problem was that it showed out the arm holes of my sleeveless dress.

Nice bodysuit… BUT the crotch opening is too small
This Maidenform Body Shaper is nice for it’s ultra thin and light weight, yet firm and strong fabric. I ordered this to use from months 2+ recovery from an abdominal & tummy tuck surgery. The photo I’m providing shows this product in the top half and a comparison product in the bottom half of the photo (a typical faja compression garment given to me by my doctors immediately following surgery). My primary goal was to have something thinner/lighter to wear during our hot summer months in the Southwestern US. I hoped the overlapping fabric in the crotch opening would be more comfortable when wearing this under clothing during the work day versus the hook latch crotch design. I also find the hooks can be a bit difficult to use when in a hurry or tired, like in the middle of the night.Sadly I found no way to make the crotch opening of this bodysuit stay open by itself when using it to urinate. It’s truly not functional without trying to hold it open manually (you only get about 1 square inch of an opening) or using using the plastic device mentioned in other reviews. I have no intention of getting urine on my hands trying to hold it open and I won’t carry that plastic device with me. Neither approach is acceptable in my mind.As you can see in my photo, the crotch area itself is about 5 inches long in both designs. On this product, the fabric overlaps by an inch at the front/top and about a half inch at the back/bottom. When you try to open the crotch, it opens to only about 1 inch square and doesn’t stay open by itself.Like I said, the fabric on this bodysuit is really nice. If you don’t need the crotch opening, it’s a real winner!

Best shapewear
I ordered several different brands and had to send them all back. I almost gave up on finding one that fit me right. I have bought this in an xxl and it fit perfectly. I am 79 yrs old and don’t have the strength to struggle too much getting it on and I’m 5’5″ and 210. I carry most of my weight in my stomach and this is snug enough to hold me in, yet not uncomfortable! I’m so happy to have found it!

Better than expensive shapewear!!!
My wedding is in 2 weeks and between juggling work, school, and every day stress – I have not lost the weight I had hoped to lose by this time. Feeling downright crappy, I purchased shapewear from Honeylove, which is at a fairly high price point. It worked okay but didn’t snatch me in the way I had hoped. So this brought me to Amazon and finding this shapewear. I read reviews, took a chance, and purchased. My package arrived super quickly, I tried it on, and holy macaroni, I just have to say….SNATCHED HONAY, SNATCHED!!!! It took all my pudge and snapped it in like a blanket in a vacuum sealed bag. I almost sobbed when I saw my back fat smoothed out and made completely invisible (seriously, tears were shed). I’ve been so self conscious of the weight I’ve put on and this miraculous piece of shapewear brought back some of my confidence. It’s also comfortable AS HECK – no pinching, moving in it is easy, & I have no trouble with breathing (I’m lookin’ at you waist trainers & corsets, ya buttcheeks). To the absolute heaven sent angels who made this and made it right – bless you. I wish nothing but happiness and sunshine to you for eternity. To anyone considering getting this – buy it bebe. Just buy it. It’s completely worth it!Side note, I have not included photos due to my own insecurities and would prefer not to share my lumps on Amazon (sorry!).

Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable shaping with comfort!

Apple shape: Go with your hip measurement to choose size
My dimensions: 5’5″, 168lb, basically ‘apple’ shaped 42-41-42, clothing usually XL. Purchased: Medium. This thing is great! I haven’t used shapewear before, and admit I am trying not to judge myself, but treating it like ‘posture’ training wear. This is to fit into a somewhat slim cocktail dress at an event, as this apple shape makes it really hard to buy clothes. I got a just-in-case Large, but was surprised to be able to cram into a Medium once it went over my hips.. that is the main squeeze area getting into them. Once you carefully (no yanking, don’t want holes) get them past the hips it’s fine, light, stretchy and comfortable. Despite the squeeze pulling them up the hips, it is not overly tight on the thighs and no internal organs feel rearranged. You may want to adjust the shoulders for comfort.. I think the larger sizes get ‘taller’ as well as wider. It DID compress and smooth my tummy a couple inches (the goal) and generally gave a nice seamless, smooth effect under fabric for whole torso. You can see the review where she photographed her body and I had same effect.. about 1.5″ slimmer, very nice. No weird bumps or lines. I will keep the just-in-case large, but this is a great look for events wear/formal/business etc. If you stand up straighter the effect is even better. A good reminder to stand up and lightly engage the tummy but you can still move, dance, or eat in this. The crotch gusset is generous, though I recommend no underpants, a wide legged crouch stance, extra paper and Jedi mindfulness for peeing! It’s comfortable once on. Don’t wear too often, but (if you are not wearing to recover from postpartum/surgery etc) this is very handy for occasional self image mental backsliding or photo-op events! Fight the patriarchy but build strength in and guard your soft center. Recommended.

Nice shaping around the midsection, not so much in the hips/legs
I can only give these a middling review, as they do not offer much in the way of shaping around the hips and thighs – all of the compression seems to be in the midsection / belly. This shaper will definitely smooth you out, and I can say that it’s pretty comfortable, considering.

Love this: works, lightweight, stays in place
Ok, so I got a slimming tank top from Target to wear after having a baby by this brand and I LOVE it. It really works and doesn’t roll! When this full body piece went on sale I bought two, one large and one medium. I’m glad I got both! 5’7”, 180lbs, 5 babies, severe diastasis recti. The L smooths out everything but doesn’t slim or squeeze at all. It’s definitely a confidence booster right now and comfortable to wear all day as it’s not too tight. It’s flexible and light weight. The M totally sucks in my tummy! I wore it for about 5 hours so far and I was fine. I don’t think I could play with kids, move lots, etc with the smaller size though. I’m so happy with this purchase. Legs haven’t rolled up. Straps stay on. I like this way better than the ones I have from the brand Spanx.

Almost perfect!
I have been looking for something that works to compress my belly all the way flat, but something that doesn’t suffocate me all day. This is the best in terms of appearance, it really does a great job of slimming down the stomach area which is my main concern. I’m 5’2 and 155 pounds for example, and I ordered a small. The only cons to this shapewear is that it’s verrrry tight, it’s true to size fit or maybe even slightly smaller fit. It’s rough getting it on and off my body when it comes to my hips/upper thighs, but once it’s on it’s comfortable to wear. If you have less wide hips or your like 15 pounds lighter than I am it would fit it perfect.

LOVE, but consider the following…
This shape wear does exactly what it claims. My only complaint is that the adjustable shoulder straps cannot be loosened enough to fit comfortably for me so even though the rest of the piece fit me really well, I would need to size up (I am assuming). After a few hours of wear. The straps around my shoulders hurt worse than my feet in did in the heels I was wearing. Other than that I felt really confident in my graduation dress. I feel like good shape wear should give you a brief moment of “am I gonna be able to get this on my body?” Once it was on though I felt like a dog in a thunder shirt because the compression actually helped lessen my anxiety about walking across the stage in graduation. Maybe I should wear this shapewear all the time because I am definitely an anxious Queen lol. All in all I would recommend this product given the quality, price point, and effectiveness, I just wish my size had more shoulder strap length to loosen to a more comfortable fit to wear for longer periods of time. I will also say that I did have to resort to cutting a few inches off the bottom of the legs becaue they were longer than the length of my dress. Just know if you plan on wearing this with a shorter length dress or skirt, you will have to do some DIY alterations. Lastly, the crotch hole…Look, I have the same thought everytime I see an item that claims to have a hole large enough for a female to use to pee without having to to take it off first….”What adult female has a vagina small enough to make that hole work for its intended purpose?” So, with that being said, it’s your call if you want to risk utilizing this feature included in this shape wear but my opinion is I would rather get naked before using the bathroom versus trying to pee out of a hole that small. Maybe it’s just me.

Comfortable, provides a little smoothing.
I really felt comfortable in it. I could wear it all day without feeling too constrained. I appreciate the availability to pee in it but it’s definitely a trick and takes some practice. Definitely didn’t take me down two sizes or anything but smoothed out some bumps

Buy the size you wear
This works exactly as it is supposed too. Like women do.. I thought “I have been successfully losing weight, and you know if I go down a size it will last longer and I won’t have to replace it when I go a size down and then it will just be that much tighter – good right”? Wrong! Ouch this thing is hard to squish myself into! But if I would have gotten an XL I’m sure while it would be tight it wouldn’t actually be painful getting it over my hips. But I don’t regret it, I don’t have money to buy one in every size. So other than that- which is my own fault not the products, I love it.-It’s very slimming, I like that it goes up to the shoulders smoothing out the under bra fat!-Once it’s on I find it very comfortable.-When I sit down sometimes it rolls up my legs a little bit.. perhaps that is bc I got the smaller size? I’m not sure. The length of the legs part is long enough on my thighs that I can discretely and easily pull them down if they do roll a little bit.- mine has a crotch slit -not snaps- I bought it 8/22. I know a lot of review complained about the snaps so maybe they have addressed it and updated the product. I’m being completely honest now.. it is so hard to get in and out of- and I’m afraid to pee using the slit, so I just don’t drink anything before putting it on- and I usually only wear it for church or get togethers where I will wear it for 6ish hours at the most. So so far I haven’t had the pleasure of working out the bathroom situation. 😬 good luck. May the force be with you ⤵️I weigh 210 and weighed 225 when I bought it. I am 5’5” I should have gotten the XL but got a large.

Silky smooth – not too tight
I tried SO many compression garments after surgery, and they were way too restrictive, or rolled down to my waist and cut off my air. These are perfect for my small waist, short torso, thick thighs and booty. I can wear them under clothes without needing to adjust or have discomfort. I’m very glad I finally found something that worked for my needs. If you’re looking for smooth, slight compression, this is for you. Also, I’m normally a large or xl. I went with xl and they are perfect.

Nice fit
I like the smoothing effect this has. It’s a good fit for me postpartum and helps me feel a little less insecure about my new curves. I took off 1 star because the very bottom of the shorts do tend to roll up. Which can be annoying under a dress. Will probably be fine in pants though.

Super comfortable!
I needed a little tummy and hip control. Everything I tried rolled down at the waist and gave me a muffin top:( This was so comfortable i didn’t even know I was wearing it. One smooth figure! I agree with one of the commenters about the ladies room and the size of the opening. I carefully removed the sewn in panels from the crotch and wore my undies over the body slimmer. I danced the night away and even used the ladies room without difficulty! FYI: I ordered an XXL however Amazon suggested an XL……I guess AI wasn’t that smart because i could not get the XL over my hips and I needed an XXL. My hips are 46. I am so pleased with this slimmer a just ordered another one in black.

Smoothes without Squishing or Squeezing Too Much
After a couple of big babies, my belly has some extra squishy pudge and loose skin. I feel like this does a great job of smoothing everything out and tightening without restricting my ability to breathe. I think I’ve worn it a dozen times since I got it last month. The material is comfortable, compressing but not cutting off circulation. It’s not like a corset that’s going to give you a waist if you don’t have any kind of hourglass shape; it more smoothes out any lumps and bumps and slims you down slightly. Also! Doesn’t just squish me out in weird places. Like the ones that make your belly smooth but your back looks like a busted can of biscuits? Yeah, no thanks.I’m 162, 5’7″, 34DD, and a medium fit well.

If wearing with a dress, don’t expect to be able to use the restroom
It was very hard to get on but after some wiggling and what probably looked like pigs fighting under a tarp I was able to adjust the straps loose enough that the pieces that go over the boobs were WAY off to the side(I wear a 40 G). I am trying to minimize myself enough to fit into a form fitting dress and it would have worked if i only needed to wear it for 5 minutes. I would have needed help in the bathroom or probably wet myself as I would have had to take the dress off entirely in order to pull this down to be able to empty my bladder. It held everything in enough but ultimately I to return because I have a rule that if I can’t get it on or off by myself I can’t buy it.

Runs large, don’t hold you in
Product runs large and did not hold me in. I ordered a size L and I am 191 pounds I should’ve sized down.

I like it
I like it, i even wear it under my gym clothes to work out and it doesn’t move or ride up at all, but the pee hole is super super small I do struggle to use the restroom and not get it wet

Wow, this is the best!
I love this so much that I am willing to share photos of my body that I would never post or share elsewhere! On social media I kept getting served ads for Honeylove and Shapermint, but a) I didn’t want to spend the $ for the first brand and b) I was in a rush so didn’t want to wait for the second. I turned to Amazon and scrolled through various items until I came across this one.I am at my heaviest I’ve ever been after having a baby. I’m attending a wedding this weekend and went through 3 purchases and returns of dresses to wear because I just feel NOTHING is flattering. Finally decided on a dress, and now finding this shape wear piece I am feeling a definite boost of self-confidence.Trying it on I was surprised by how well it smoothed my lumps and bumps while still being comfortable. This sounds like a cliché, but wearing it feels like a gentle hug or squeeze. It compresses without sucking the breath out of you. I also love that it goes over your shoulders, as that helps smooth out back fat and side-of-bra bulge (as opposed to pieces that end right below your bra). The funny thing is that when I was younger and smaller I shelled out money for brands like Spanx and spent uncomfortable evenings. If only I had know about this shapewear!
