Rolls up!
I wore this product under a dress for a special event. It worked well to help smooth out my torso but it kept rolling up! I also struggled to put it on. It doesn’t go easily over your head and I struggled to get it over my hips. I also tried wearing it under shorts which helped a little but not enough.

Wow – was I surprised!!!
I am a fairly fit 60 year old working woman with a figure that has (sadly) shifted in the past few years. I had recently decided that my same old bra wasn’t cutting it; needed some lift and some slight back fat bulge issue that really bothered me. I had been searching the internet for a new bra but didn’t want to pay the big bucks they were asking and also didn’t see anything that would really come up high enough behind my arm pits to take care of that part of the problem. I hate being squeezed into any kind of clothes, and was afraid this was going to make me feel like a sausage. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised!!! I stepped into it as suggested and after adjusting everything where it should be was i amazed! I just felt more youthful and fit and the compression was just right. I really like that i can use whatever bra I like under it. Also, the straps are substantial but they are somewhat off-set so that they aren’t exposed. It gives the girls enough side-squeeze, and my arm-pit bulge is noticeably smaller. I can finally wear some of the new tops I had recently bought that were just thin/clingy enough to show more than I wanted. THERE’S NO EXCUSE TO SHOW THOSE ROLLS, LADIES! The bottom doesn’t roll up, but I do have to pull it down occasionally throughout the day as there seems to be a slight bunching under my breasts and down the front a bit. No big deal. The price was right and I will be buying more. I couldn’t wait to get this in the mail and after trying it on, I decided to KEEP it on for the rest of the evening cause it made me feel 10 years younger 🙂 So glad I tried this!

High quality, great fit !! 👌👌
This is perfect! The wide straps are comfortable around the shoulders, it fits perfect under your bra and would hold in any tummy bulge, love handles. I bought this to go along with the singlet in case that one didn’t work out but it turns out I’m in love with both styles ! This is great to wear under anything even a simple t shirt. It’s comfortable, creates a seamless slimmer appearance. Your shirts fit so nice. Which is an awesome surprise for me since I’ve never worn shape wear before this. I think I’m definitely hooked now 😁🤗 I like how it helps keep my posture tighter with compression. I have alot of lower back pain issues] & so far it seems to alleviate some of that. 🤞👍 I decided to test it out before I wear it to work, so I wore it around my house all day [ just under my lounge wear] it didn’t pinch or feel constructive, it ” didn’t roll up from the bottom ” not even after sitting and bending 👌 I like the length of it , it’s long enough to pull it down and cover your hips if you want or to tuck it inside your jeans. Overall I only adjusted it from the bottom once ☝️ pretty good after an 8 hour day of house cleaning right… I am a reg large in most shirts so I ordered a Large] and it fits great!Delivered prompt, professionally packaged.Highly recommend 👍

It doesn’t roll up and is comfortable
I love this shapewear. Over the years, I’ve purchased shapewear in different styles, bottoms, midsections, full body types, etc. I’ve hated all of them. They roll up or down, don’t remain in place, some will flatten your butt when you don’t want it to, they’re uncomfortable and wearing the full body ones are a nightmare when you go to the bathroom. I can’t even say why I ordered this one in the first place, I think it was because I’ve never purchased the type that go around your chest. Anyhow, when I pulled it out of the box I was immediately disappointed at how tiny it looked. I thought that I had certainly ordered the wrong size. I absolutely hate returning things so it likely meant that I would end up with something I couldn’t use. I then had a thought, why not try it on and see how small it is to be able to gage which size I should order next? In one of the reviews I read that you should put your legs in and pull it up, so I did, and it fit!!! It is snug the way it’s supposed to be, but I can breathe. It’s comfortable, and holds my back fat and gives me a better figure. Also, very surprisingly it DOES NOT roll up. At least not on me. I’ve worn it all day to work and to events where I stand, sit, walk and it stays put. I’m about to order a second one right now. I’m 5’2, a size L but sometimes XL for tops and a size 14. I ordered the L and it fits perfect.

My First Try at Shapewear
I’m over 65 and in good shape. That said, I need a little tummy control and a flattering waistline. I just tried it on and it feels very comfortable and it does the trick. I may get another. I’m 5’3, 140 pounds. I wear size small tops, Karen Scott. Size medium tops, Charter Club. Size 4 jeans. I also wear 34C bra, which is right at the cut between small and medium. After lengthy reading of reviews, I chose medium and it’s a great fit. I might be wearing this more regularly than I originally thought.

Didn’t perform as I wanted and was uncomfortable.
I have tried so many of these body shaper/slimmer/toners, and this one ranked with the others I’ve tried. I ordered a large, which for my body measurements, was recommended. It bunched up under my bra, pinched under the arms and helped with the bulges, but not that much. Maybe an extra large would have been better, I didn’t reorder, so I can’t review on the larger size.

West it every day!
Love this shaper- I wear it every day in fast paced emergency healthcare. Smooths out tummy and back! Comfy!!! Lasts about a year or so before needing replaced (again with every day wear)

Pros and Cons
I do really like the fact that this garment pulls you in, makes you look slimmer, smoother, and less lumpy. It does not ride up or roll at the bottom, so that is a huge bonus. The fact that you wear your own bra with it is what sold me on ordering this item. It’s more comfortable than other control garments I have worn and I really didn’t find it too hot to wear in 90 degree Miami weather. Now, the downside. I have worn this garment for 6 months (I have a total of 2 garments that I wear every other day and wash them twice a week-no dryer- they have to line dry) and it is already starting to lose a significant amount of its “tightness”. I just doesn’t feel like it pulls me in as much as it did when I first received it. I know that spandex is gonna lose its stretch over time, but I think 6 months is a bit premature. It seems to me that a garment like this one should last at least a year, especially since I am wearing it every other day. In all, I will definitely purchase another one as long as the price stays around the $22 I paid for it.

Feels great on my back.
I really. Really. Like this style. I am about a 12/14 top and a 9/10 bottom. 5’5″ at 155/165. Depending. Lol. Anyway. I bought a med. I wanted snug to hold me in. I put feet in first. And if wearing pants it does not slide or roll up. That’s including sitting and moving around. Loser cloths I have to pull it back down. But not to often that it’s a problem. And it feels great for my back. I have pulled my back out a few times. And this Seems like it keeps it in line. That’s my number 1 reason I like it so much. And hides back fat. Wide shoulder hoops. Does not dig in. And it’s under your boobs. Kinda pushes them up and in. The seams in the front don’t seem to show threw the cloths I wear. I don’t wear a lot of shear fabric. I have the other style for that. The 2 sided tan/black. That covers the boob area. I like them also. But sort of a boob squishier. This Washes well. And might have a little give to them after a while. But just a very little. I work construction. Outside. Lifting, bending and sweating a lot. So that might have a lot to do w it. BTW. I am a Female. I work for by bf. but this is my favorite style. And it does help your waist line. I look thinner and no rolls hanging off the top of my pants, shorts or skirts.

Better than most, great for the price.
Honestly, these are pretty great. They’re not perfect, but I’ve tried a few products like this to contain my belly, and this one works best for the price. I lost a decent amount of weight and have a bit of loose skin, and this thing smooths things out nicely. Doesn’t roll up, doesn’t pinch. Works wonders on hiding back fat. I do wish it was a bit narrower at the bottom, it has a pretty curvy shape, which isn’t ideal for my body type. I bought a size smaller than my usual and it helps. The fabric is stretchy but not overly-so, like many products like this. It holds its shape well. I would buy this again.

Search is over! Love this thing!
I love this thing, I bought 4 of them. After having two large babies and having polyhydramnios (a ridiculous amount of amniotic fluid) with both of them, my belly has not been the same and was super self-conscious about myself in clothes. I tried shape wear before but the tank top kind that kind of push your breasts down too so it doesn’t help your shape. I tried to find the under the bra ones like this in numerous different brands but they straps all hurt my shoulders really bad and then i spotted this, SEARCH OVER! I bought this in October 2014 and have been wearing them ever since and they are nice quality, they still look like new a year and a half later and they really keep things in tight without feeling overly tight and give me my shape back, I like having it under my bra so my breasts are not squished down. I bought 4 in black in October 2014 and just bought a few more in the nude color as well. They really hold up well and they have been washed countess times. Definitely recommend!!

It works!
On the rare occasions when I’m willing to feel like I’m squeezing myself into a sausage casing in order to attain a temporarily slimmer shape, this works great. I kinda feel like I’m dislocating my shoulder, and then slowly relocating all the fat in my midsection, as I put it on, which is not my favorite, but once in place it is about as comfortable as you could ask for. Does not shift or roll, and feels like it provides some back support and improves my posture, too.

I’m absolutely ordering this again!
I think it helps to provide measurements for those who are close to mine, so I’m going to spill the beans on myself: 42-38-42 and I ordered an XL. I’m 5’1, so this reaches to the middle of my hips almost like a slightly long cami.I currently have a fairly large midsection. I own a faja for those extremely rare waist-compressing occasions, but I needed something to wear every day that gently smoothed out my figure in the front, back and sides without suffocating me. This one was just perfect. It doesn’t give me a really tapered waist – I wasn’t looking for that – it gives my figure a more refined and controlled look. The comfort level is wonderful, especially with the wide straps. I wear it every day whether under dresses or under jeans, and after a week I forgot that I was wearing it. Two tips that I got from other customers’ reviews: 1) put it on like a skirt: slide it up, MUCH easier that way. 2) If you’re wearing hosiery, I find it much more comfortable to wear the hosiery on the outside, so torsette on first, then the hosiery. Good luck!

My “go to ” shape wear!
I can’t say enough good things about this torset. The first one I owned, I bought at JCPenneys and I was immediately in love. It give really good support, providing you buy the right size of course, and it gives a very good streamlined look in the back, bra and stomach area. I wear a size 14/16 and I buy the XL size and it fits great. I do not recommend buying a size up. The XL also fit me well when I was a 16/18 and Ive been considering trying a L since I have lost a bit of weight. I was so excited when I typed the serial number into Amazon and these came up! I worn my first one so much, that i wanted new ones and new colors. I must say that the first one I ever purchased 2 years ago, still looks new and is still holding up very well. I wash it in Woolite or The Laundress on the hand wash cycle of my washing machine and then dry it on delicate which is extra low heat and that process cares for it well. I bought two more in black and tan. I really wish it came in white. Great product!

Great firming tank!
Perfect firming tank! I like that I can wear my own bra so that my chest isn’t all squished together. I want my stomach to look flatter but not my chest, and that is the problem with so many firming tanks. I’ve tried a few others where you can wear your own bra, but this is the only one where the straps don’t fall down. The bottom does not ride up under clothing either. I have the romper version of this and I like this a lot better, as it doesn’t flatten my backside or ride up. I’m tall and a lot of the full bodysuits don’t work for my long torso. However, I would highly recommend this for a long torso, as it reaches my mid hip area and flattens my entire stomach and the little “pouch” I acquired under it after my pregnancies. For reference, I am 5’7″ 147lbs and wear a Large. A medium would probably be much more firming, but I need a large for the length especially since I am long in the torso. This a very comfortable garment and looks nice under everything.

Creates a nice smooth look under clothes
This is very comfortable. It is supposed to be snug in order to create a slimming affect. I like to wear this when I wear clingy tops and dresses. This is also not meant to be pulled on over your head, you’ll never get it on that way, you must step into it and pull it up over your hips in order to put it on. The shoulder straps do dig in a little and when that happens, you need to pull it up in the back to prevent that. I bought a large and it fits exactly like I wanted it to.

Less flub, more curve.
I’m 5′ 4″, size 40D, and last I checked approx 180lbs. Definite apple shape. This fit well, it didn’t curl up at the bottom like some individuals said (they may have gotten a size too small). It didn’t work miracles but it did what I wanted. It defied gravity and I was less floppy flub and more compact curves. It held in back fat well, so it was far less visible than it would normally be. The saving grace was the wear your own bra portion. If you’ve got a big chest it’s a freakin’ life saver. I’ve had other compressors but it was kin to wearing a corset with my chest all smooshed up. It also didn’t aggravate my IBS. So over all absolutely worth the money (only $10.79 at the time). PS don’t pull over. Step in.

Love this one
I’m 4’11” weigh 140lbs and ordered a medium. Took a little tug and tuck the 1st time I put it on but it works great and isn’t extremely tight or uncomfortable. I’ve worn it several times now and it doesn’t roll up. It helps with the little budget in the front and back.

It’s a Miracle!
Why spend $70-$80 on a similar product when this little miracle does exactly what you need it to?▪I wore myself out trying to hold my stomach in all the time.▪I worried so much about back fat, I couldn’t even relax.▪I never could find a bra that supported my size D breasts.▪I was always self-conscious about my muffin top.▪I jiggled around my mid section when I walked.BUT NO MORE! I am so satisfied with this shape, I’m buying another one. Please note: To put this shaper on, you step into it and pull the straps up over your shoulders. Do NOT try to pull it over your head like I did the first time. I almost called 911 to come get me untangled!

Not quite five stars
I got this to wear after my c-section to help hold everything so I could get up and moving sooner. While it isn’t really as long as the product image suggests, it works well enough for my purposes. I can’t give it five stars though, for a few reasons. 1) Even when wearing a slightly loose fitting shirt you will see some of the support lines (not a big deal in my opinion, but if you’re wanting something more discrete then you might want to look for something else.) 2) The arms cut into my arm pits. I saw a few reviews saying that the arms were loose/gappy, but that definitely wasn’t the case for me. It digs into the armpits and gets uncomfortable the longer you wear it.Ultimately it serves its function and for the price it is a decent product.

I’ve had longer
I liked the snugness. It definitely compresses great. But if you’re average or tall, this isn’t long enough. It’s good for a shorter torso.

I Love This Shaper
I love this shaper. I had one already and ordered a 2nd one. It’s nice and long. I have worn it with dresses and jeans. I do find that I have to tuck it into my panties to keep it from rolling because of the length but that’s fine. One of the reviewers complained about how hard it is to put on… I don’t think she started at the bottom and pulled it up. That’s the trick to this shaper. Don’t try to put it over your head. You’ll turn yourself into a pretzel trying to get it right. Just put it on one leg at a time and pull it up. Of course you have to be bare legged for it to work as well.It holds in my tummy and helps smooth out my muffin tops. I’m not huge but I am self conscious of my muffin top since my daughter was born. This shaper gives me some confidence back. I’m glad I ordered the 2nd one and would recommend it to anyone. The wear your own bra concept is perfect. The straps at the top are wide but I just sort of tuck them down further on my shoulders. So far it’s worked.

Smooth Out Your Torso!
I have worn this particular piece of shapewear for over 7 years – different sizes have been needed as my weight fluctuates, but the softness and breathability of the material, the fact that I can wear it with my own bra, and the actual elasticity endurance of the garment as a whole, makes it my go-to. I wear it nearly every day so that I can smooth out my “lumps” and get the added benefit of the comfort it provides to my lower back. Love this brand and I’ll continue to use it as long as I can keep getting it!!

Nice Shapewear, but…
I bought this to wear underneath my dress for my son’s wedding. I liked the idea of wearing this instead of the traditional shapewear that you step into and thought it would be more comfortable. It held me in and looked nice and smooth until it started to ride up. Especially after sitting down and then standing back up, the bottom tended to roll up. It might work better under a pair of pants, which may prevent the bottom from riding/rolling up as it did with a loose fitting dress.

Perfect!
I kept buying and returning shareware on here and they were so far off in size that I was getting very discouraged. Then I ordered this one because I remember when this brand was at Walmart I liked them- it was perfect! Exactly what I wanted and I’ll be ordering more in both colors.I am 5’9” tall 150lbs but I had very big babies so my tummy is 🤮 I wear the shareware to keep my tummy tucked until the dr can do it for me.

Not magic, but it works!
So I bought this a weeks ago and as soon as I got it I bought 3 more! I’m several months post baby, while I lost the weight my large baby stretched my skin horribly leaving me with a saggy tummy and my skin lost all tone. I fit in most prepregnancy clothes but look rumpled. So I bought this…first things first, be honest and buy the correct size…you will then have no issues with it rolling up & no difficulty with comfort, you’ll be able to wear it all day & breathe! The only thing completely off is the straps, too wide and will dig a bit into your under arm. The pros: you’ll loose about a inch around, it fits like a good one piece swimsuit, it keeps your bra in place so no more repositioning your bra, gives you good back support & a good posture, gives you a more toned/smooth look & I felt as if it engaged my core muscles…so maybe it could train your waist over time with continued use. What you will NOT get is your size 16 body will not magically become a size 2…so don’t be unrealistic!

When you wear this, always wear a bra
The Maidenform Women’s Wear Your Own Bra Shapewear Torsette FL1866 is a good way to support your tummy, e.g., due a post-partum or a post-surgery diastasis, or perhaps due to some extra fat in your waist line. Wearing a bra is a must since the wide shoulder straps, very comfortable by the way, will shape your boobs awkwardly if you wear none. With a good bra, this shapewear works very nicely.

The Best Tummy Tucker/shaper
I absolutely love this design! Not to mention you can wear your own bra, and you will not pee all over yourself trying to get undone to go to the bathroom! Lol, but so true! I pray they do not stop making these and I recommend you buy the size you wear as a US shirt size, for example if you wear a 2xl-3xl and u want a good but doable tuck get a 2XL. They are soft, comfortable and easy to a squeeze into, and do the job they are intended to do. Highly recommended!

Too Short!
This type of “Wear Your Own Bra” works well for me. It gives just enough compression and does make clothes fit smoothly. This particular one is just too short. I have had different brands and this is just way too short for a Medium. I find myself periodically tugging to keep it down. I am 5’4″, 135 lbs.

Body type makes a difference
It’s really common to wonder if a shaper like this will roll up or stay in place. Sadly, since body types are so different, there’s no one answer that will be accurate for everyone when dealing with a garment like this one. I read reviews and really wanted to believe it wouldn’t roll up, but I’ve had to come to terms with the body type I’m dealing with and the implications of that. I’ve got an hourglass figure (with some extra minutes)… in other words, I’m overweight, and yet my hourglass remains. What that means is that there’s a pretty significant difference between my hips measurement and my waist measurement. Shapewear is meant to be tight so if it’s basically a tight shirt like this one, it’s just going to roll up when it’s on someone with an hourglass figure. I have an extreme bra size and the band needs to be tight to provide any real support. Therefore, my back fat announces the placement of my bra for all the world to see. In my case, the whole point of getting this item was to minimize the appearance of my bra band through my clothing and it does that. However, since there’s about a 17″ difference between my waist and my hips, there’s no way this won’t roll up… no matter how much I hoped it wouldn’t. I’ve worn it directly against my skin (as one reviewer said that was the key) and tried pinning it under tight leggings under my maxi skirt and it only slightly delayed the inevitable; it still rolled up. I really didn’t want to get a bodysuit shaper because of how complicated that makes going to the bathroom… yet I fail to see a better option…So, do I like this shaper? Yes, it’s better than nothing and for what it is, it does a good job. Does that mean it’s perfect for me? No… but that’s not actually the fault of the garment.

BEST Post liposuction compression garnet!
I had liposuction surgery on back flanks and hips and they sent me home with a Velcro thick back compression garment that was hot and rolled up on hips and down on upper back. So I bought this and it is PERFECT!! It covers all the areas the other did not and it ranks right up there with the brand name spanx at much less costs!! It also covers my hips and doesn’t roll up. So glad it doesn’t cover boobs either! I got it in the mail today have it on now and looking forward to sleeping in it versus the other!

Almost perfect
I have a hernia above my belt button from a surgery I had and I’m always trying to find something comfortable to wear to help support it. This is so close to being perfect I could cry writing this review. It is comfortable–like super soft, doesn’t pinch or bind, and honestly you could forget you’re wearing it if not for one tragic flaw.If you are a part shaped girl like me you’re gonna experience the constant frustration and discomfort of the bottom of this rolling up. When it does this, then it certainly does pinch and bind and the fabric softness is of little consequence when compared to how awful it feels! This could be easily corrected by adding some of the stay put wiggly lines of that silicone glue type stuff like many shapeware uses to avoid rolling and to keep the item in place.I love this item but the issue with rolling makes it impossible to wear.

Bra shape wear torsette
I give it a 4 star , because unless I wore it under my panty shape shaper, it rolled up. Not as bad as others I have worn, but I would have been afraid not to have tucked it in. It did smooth my back, kept my shoulders in line and smoothed my waist, which is what I bought it for. I like waisted dresses and over years, my mid section is jiggly and has rolls. I gave a 5 star on comfort, even though it is a type of girdle… How much comfort can you expect?🤷🏻♀️ My only problem that I had was getting it on. I am older, and I don’t have quite the strength in my hands to pull it on as I would like to. It took me some time, but I succeeded. So older ladies keep this in mind when you purchase. All and all, it is a good product. Breathable fabric that does not stick to you.

Perfect Post Tummy Tuck
This has been amazing during my recovery following a fleur de lis abdominoplasty. The compression is fantastic, material is thick, & it does not slide or ride up at all. I’m short so was able to pull this down over my hips, where I needed it to cover all my lower incisions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Post Operation Compression YES!
I have to have compression after surgery. My doctor gave me an expensive compression garment that does compress, but it can get a bit uncomfortable sometimes, plus I have to wash it occasionally. I got this a week after my surgery. Oh yes. Just, yes. I love this shaper. It still compresses about as much as the other garment, but oh the comfort. So smooth, so breathable, so compressing without compromising my breathing. Everything is so comfortable. I still wear my “iron maiden” compression garment, but this one is such a lovely break when I’m washing the other one. As my swelling goes down, I’ll probably order a small. I’m 5’0, 130 and the medium fits well, even with a belly that is as swollen as a 4-month pregnancy belly. I’m so glad I ordered it.

It’s ok
The straps you can feel right away annoyYour underarms. This wear did do better than most for my fat roll under my bra. But the lines show. That really sucks with a dress I needed this for. But you can least go to the bathroom as No bottom. I am returning though as cannot wear it for a wedding with the lines. That be ugly in pics.

I wouldn’t reccomend it for work because unless it’s tucked under your pants it will slide up a bit if doing heavy physical activity/bending. I do feel I have seen some results with toning my waste. I’ve fallen for the new waist cinching craze but I didn’t want to be uncomfortable and this product is the best for around the house wear mostly and even while working at a computer. It helps your posture and I really like I can wear my own bras with it. I am blessed up top and I prefer bras without wires and because how the shoulds wrap your front, I think it’s really added to how my bust looks. I can say my husband is a real fan. I would rate it 87% comfortable and I hope it continues to hold up to all the stretching in order to get it on (step in it and pull it up over your undergarments). Only needs a little slight adjustment and when you put your clothes over top it usually stays in place unless extreme bending.

I’d recommend
I love this thing! I was struggling to lose baby weight and felt really uncomfortable in my own skin with all the changes in my body. This was a perfect solution! It flattened my belly and you couldn’t tell I was wearing it. I like that it’s designed to go under your breasts instead of the ones that look like a normal tank top because even before pregnancy I had very large breasts so things like that wouldn’t fit me. Plus it works if you’re breast feeding because you use your own bra.A tip for using this is I ended up always wearing a tank top over this and tucking the tank top into my pants because the soft material makes it easy for your plants to start so slide down and sag. The tank top fixes that though and you can just wear a normal top over it. I don’t use it much anymore since I’ve lost weight but there’s still the special occasion when I still wear it. It’s great quality too, I’ve had mine about 5 months now I think. It shipped quickly and was packaged nicely. I’d recommend.

Torsette Shaper
I put this on and it did not hurt my shoulders like the ones I bought at Dillards. I love the wide straps. So comfortable I forget I have it on. Im a 14 and bought XL. It hold me in very well and not too tight. If I had gotten a L it would have been too tight. I have a belly due to diabetes so it helps hold me until I can get the belly off at the gym then I will buy a smaller size in this. Will buy again!

Super comfortable and doesn’t roll up!
I’ve ordered the “Fat Free Dressing” Flexees tank for years but decided to try this one when I needed a new one. It’s SO comfortable. Smooths out the bumps (it’s not magic, but it does make clothes fit better). I work in a preschool and am constantly up and down off the floor, bending over, running around – NO issues with rolling, sliding, over-constricting. I could probably go down a size for more smoothing, but this works for my purpose (just to look a little more professional at work!). The only thing I’ve noticed is that the straps are too wide-set to wear with a tank top, and after a while they start to rub on my armpits a bit (the fat-free dressing tank fits nicely under a tank top, fyi). But I’ve been wearing it today for 8 hours so far and I’m not going crazy waiting to take it off, so I think that says something about how comfortable it is. Even in 95 degree heat earlier this week I was comfortable. Love this!

Medium Support but Definitely Rolls Up!
The shirt is was easy to put on, I stepped into it and pulled it up rather than pulling it over my head. I selected this shirt because it had the seam at the bottom thinking it would not roll up. In order to keep it from rolling up, I had to pull it down over my waist which would not be a problem if I were wearing pants. But because I wanted to use this with cotton bodycon dresses, the thickness of the bottom seam shows through the dress as a hump. When I pulled it up to fit as a cami, the bottom immediately flipped up and continued to do so regardless of how I tried positioning it. What I did like about it was how the underarm covered my “armpit fat” and it smoothed out the many lumps, bumps, and humps throughout my back and flanks. However, since it keeps flipping up and didn’t offer the level of support I was hoping for in the tummy area, I’m sending it back. Also, there is no silicone or rubber underneath the bottom seam. I hope this helps someone!

Smooth that muffin top!
I’ve been losing a lot of weight (go WW) and I am in between pant sizes thanks to my stubborn muffin top. THIS was an excellent solution! My smaller pants (14) fit with ease and without the discomfort of the waistband strangling me or my muffin top popping over and looking sloppy.Depending on if I was sitting for a long time or walking around a bit it did roll from the bottom at times – not enough to be a bother to me, but it didn’t stick in place ALL day.The ability to wear my own bra was a huge plus. I have another shaper that is a full camisole type that just flattens the girls and is ridiculously uncomfortable. This style lets the girls breathe and gives them a small bit of lift.

Not for you if you have narrow shoulders
The garment starting slipping off one shoulder immediately and within 2 hours started slipping off both. I have narrow shoulders (usually wear a razor back bra). It is comfortable. Maybe I should’ve purchaed a smaller size….

Great product.
I am very happy with this purchase. I own the Romper and I like that you can wear your own bra and that it is firm control. What I don’t like is the snaps at the crotch. I wear underwear with it, but it’s still not very comfortable. I wanted to have an extra one so that I can work out in it and still have a clean one to wear. This is a great alternative. I was afraid that it would roll up, but it doesn’t, it stays in place. I read a comment on here that said to step into it, and that is absolutely the best way to get into it. I am a true Medium top and an 8-10 jeans. I ordered a Medium and it fit well. It’s a compression top, so it’s going to be tight and like a second skin. I still feel like I can breathe and work out in it. I can run on the treadmill while wearing it and it doesn’t move at all. I’m so glad I decided to get it.

Shape weat
Absolutely love it. I can wear my bra and not be smooshed. Fits true to the chart. Even helps my posture since it helps keep the shoulders back instead of naturally slumping. I have another that is full body that I also like. Highly recommend!

Well made and helps with shaping
I started buying these 3 years ago after having the gastric bypass surgery. I love how it allows you to wear your own bra. I put on the garments first and fix my breast to make sure they are completely out. Then I put on my bra. I have slowly gotten down to a size medium from XL. They are very durable. Mine get put through the ringer and have managed to survive. I have either purchased replacements due to sizing or because the ones I have had started to loose elasticity. The silicone film in the inner bottom part of the garment will eventually start to peal with wear and tear but I wear them all day every day so for me, having durable shape wear is a must. It has helped with not having a ton of lose skin and helped me shrink down with tighter and firmer skin. It really does give me a flattering waist line. It can feel uncomfortable at first but you get used to it. If only wearing for an event, it is flattering but make sure to check that the dress has high back coverage before buying this. Also, it is true to size so no need to get larger or smaller. keep in mind that if wearing with a shirt or any top that you need to wear a long one because this garment makes your pants/ skirt/ shorts slide down if you wear it in the inside instead of on the outside to help keep your bottoms in place. I am only 4 feet 10 inches and it does feel a bit long but I make it work.

this took me down to 34″ instantly and comfortably. I can wear clothes I haven’t in years
at 5’11” and a 36″ waist, this took me down to 34″ instantly and comfortably. I can wear clothes I haven’t in years, and I feel it’s helping improve my posture as I sit at my desk at work and home.My only complaint, like many, are the straps themselves. While the front stops just shy of my chest and it’s easy to fit a bra under (42D for reference) and I do have wide shoulders, the outside seam continuously folds in under itself creating an uncomfortable pinch from the point just between my armpit and breasts, all the way up to the seam at the top of the shoulders. I can fold it inside-out to alleviate the pressure, or just reach under every 15 minutes or so to flatten out the seam, but I need to find a long-term solution to this or it’s going to drive me crazy!I’m considering flash tape, a small inconspicuous safety pin, pinning it to the bra strap, or using the extra strap of a convertible bra across the top to pinch the two sides closer to the center or my chest to alleviate the pressure. I don’t want to return this over a small annoyance but it would be a 5 star review if they could fit this one error.

I was skeptical but I’m happy I gave it a try.
This is my third Maidenform purchase and I’m not unhappy about it. I’m 5’5 and I weight 268. I’m an apple-ish shape. I gain weight all over my body not just my belly but my belly is where most of my weight hangs out. My weight is in my lower belly. I have larger thighs, arm, and bust, they aren’t skinny, my waist is slightly smaller. I ordered a 2x and it fits very good. I love that I can wear my own bra. I love that it smooths out my side and back-fat. It does hold my belly well but where it shines is the back-fat and side rolls. I did experience some rolling in the back but was able to fix that by tucking it into my clothes like the other reviewers recommended. It’s well worth the money and I plan to purchase another. I know people had issues with the straps being so wide. I assume it has to be wide so that you can step into it and pull it up. I didn’t have an issue with the shoulder strap, but the other reviews are right. This won’t look good with tanks or thin strapped tops. I recommend hand washing and hang drying. No washing machine and dryers. I feel those can been too hard on the garment and shorten its lifespan and ruin the elastic. I’m currently losing weight, but as I lose weight I plan to order the next size down.

Only one major drawback…
First, you need to know that I’m good, hearty peasant stock. Which means that I need a little shaping in formal clothes. Also, other than the obligatory try for fit, the first time I wore this, I wore it for 21 hours.+ I really appreciated that I could wear my own bra.- I’m reasonably broad-shouldered for a woman (see “peasant stock” above), yet the straps were so widely set that they perched on the curve of my shoulder joint, so they slid down, and cut into my underarm. My underarms are actually bruised this morning.+ Snug, but comfortable enough that I managed to wear it for 21 hours without discomfort. I could sit, bend, twist, and breathe.+ It smoothed out my bumps. It’s not going to give you an hourglass, but my clothes lay smoothly.+ It didn’t roll up.So. More positive than negatives, but the strap/underarm thing was painful and annoying.

Soft and Fitting
I was suggested a size XL, but I ordered a Medium and it fit PERFECTLY. The material is buttery soft and extremely comfortable while still smoothing out all the lumps. The compression isn’t as firm as I would like, but it DOES DO THE JOB and I will be wearing it often. I got one in beige and in black. The straps are wide and soft. They don’t dig into your shoulders. It perks up the natural ta-tas too. Good purchase!

Perfect for after lipo
Had lipo done on abd/flanks plus hernia repair. They give you a very bulky medical one which is perfect for the first week but def didn’t want to go to work in it. It gives just as much compression if not more, since it goes over shoulders perfect so it doesn’t ride up or down. Light fit so perfect for under your shirts so no one notices. I got a size small and it works great.

Tight
The material of this product was thicker than expected. I ordered the correct size but struggled as I attempted to get it on. Size was just too small for me and the thickness was just too much as well. I had to return.

Comfortable
I like this. It’s not super structured so it’s not going to hold in a lot but it definitely smoothes out the bra bulge if you have a bit extra on the back and under arms. It provides some support in the midsection and smoothes out some floppy belly skin. It’s not going to cinch you in though. This is truly light support.
