I bought this as a gift for my grandsons. They loved it and I like that it has a metal tin to keep the cards in, instead of a box that tears. recommend !

Great game… But what us up with the tin?
My wife and I have been playing this game for the last 20 years. Great game! It’s easy to play, easy to set up, and you don’t have to overthink. So many games nowadays require you to watch a 20 minute video in order to understand how to play, it’s nice to have one that’s fun but straightforward. I bought this because the cards that we’ve been using for the last 20 years are pretty hammered and there might be one or two missing. I was a little disappointed to see that the nice 10 case that came with them is about 50% too big, so I’ll probably end up just rubber banding the cards.

Phase 10 Card Game Tin – Great Game in a Too Large Tin
Love the game. Our old Phase 10 cards were getting tattered and the box was torn. Purchased this replacement game with the tin since the box gets beat up. However, I think a smaller tin would be better. Why does it need to be twice the size as the cards? Not good for storage or travel.

The most fun game!
This game is so much fun. We play it with our granddaughter who is 8. It’s a nice change from uno, crazy eights, or rummy. Each person has a card that they have to follow- first round, for instance, a run of four, second round- a run of four, and a group of three.

Great game for entire family!
We learned of Phase 10 at our granddaughter’s graduation celebration. We played again with adult friends and family then with 12 yr old and again with 8 yr old grandchildren. We’re all hooked!

great game, can be long sometimes but we like that
great game and easy to learn. but going through all the phases can take awhile sometimes. also we made it a little more challenging by saying some of the ones where you need to get a straight had to all be in the same colors. cause when playing with less players made the game more challenging and less luck of the draw kind of deal. metal case it great and cards are holding up well

Fun, classic card game!
We bought this to add to our family game night collection. It’s a very fun game and all of us enjoy it. It comes in a nice sturdy tin, which we love, and it makes it super easy to store when it’s not in use. It’s also the perfect size to travel with for some fun and entertainment when we go on a trip. It can be played by just 2, but we have found that it’s a bit more fun with more. It’s an easy game to learn to play and the instructions are very clear.

Fun game but don’t lose the phase cards!
It’s a fun game that can last many rounds but you can stop at any point and even pick up again later (if everyone can remember what phase they’re on). The goal for each phase can get complicated so you need to refer to the phase card—just make sure you don’t lose them.I only wish the packaging were better for travel. The metal case is nice for sturdiness if you’re keeping it at home but it’s bigger than it needs to be and I would’ve rather just had a cardboard box to keep it trim and lightweight.

FUN but TIME CONSUMING!
This is a fun game to play at family events and kick backs! Great way to keep people engaged outside of watching TV and off cell phones. It can be a long game but it allows multiple people to play and relatively easy to learn for all ages and genders.

This game is awesome, I got this version because the tin helps protect the cards. Nonetheless, I found the cards to be a little thin for my liking, feel like they could damage easily

One of the best games ever created.
Phase Ten is a game that my whole family enjoys. It’s fun to play especially when skipping and talking smack. The tin works better for storing the cards instead of a cardboard box. Love this game!

Timeless classic that never fails to entertain!
It’s a dynamic and engaging card game that combines strategy and luck, making it perfect for gatherings with family and friends. The objective of the game is to complete ten different phases, each with its unique set of requirements, such as sets or runs of cards, and being the first to do so is the key to victory. The game’s versatility is impressive, catering to a wide range of player ages and skill levels. It’s easy to learn for newcomers, yet it offers enough complexity to keep seasoned players engaged. The competitive nature of Phase 10 brings out the strategic thinker in everyone, leading to exciting and unpredictable outcomes.

Cheap remake of a standard game
Don’t know if from original manufacturer, but definitely not the same quality as I’ve played with at other people’s houses. Useable, but don’t expect to last as the cards are very thin and don’t feel plastic coated. Will keep until it is munched to pieces and then I think I will look for a vintage box of it—even if it costs more. The box is nice and accommodates the 10-sided die we use with it. We use the die because the phase order on the lists are identical and we prefer to not all be going for the same phase at the same time. Threw away the insert that held the cards immobile for shipping, though, because I needed to fit the die in.

This is a fun game, I got it based on reviews and sales here, I was not disapointed.
When I bought this game I didn’t really know what it was or how much fun it would be. We have played it a bunch of times and do really enjoy it. It is easy to learn and is now part of our regular games rotation. So take a chance and get this game it is fairly inexpensive so go for it.

Good for non-English speakers
The reference card uses symbols instead of phrases like “1 set of 3 and 1 run of 4” so people who don’t read or speak English can play!

One of my favorite games
This is one of my favorite games to play!! I think because this is the 40th anniversary edition that the phase cards look different. I have a different version with the phases written out and if I hadn’t played before, I wouldn’t have known what the items on this editions phase cards meant. Highly reccomend!

Game is great, card quality not as good
The game is great, we’ve played it for years. Easy to learn. Good to taken on vacation.Card quality is less than the usual playing card level of durability. They are printed on a lighter cardboard than usual and the smooth finish is not as good. They have also redesigned the cards to be more universal with pictograms. They are not that universal, but you can figure it out.Still a fun game so I gave it 4 stars.

I love this game
I first got Phase 10 when my own kids were young. I’ve played it with kids as young as 5 or 6 who know numbers and their order. Now I play it not only with my grandchildren, but with my grown children, too. It’s so much fun! Learning the game is easy; there are no complicated rules. In each round your goal is different- you may need to get cards in number order or many copies of one number, or a combination of both. The length of a game is probably over half an hour, but it’s able to be stopped after any round without feeling like you stopped ‘in the middle’.I’ve given this as a gift many times and it’s always enjoyed. Especially with families staying home more now a days; how much screen time do we really need? Family game time gives us a way to interact in a competitive yet friendly way. My local store doesn’t always carry this because games and toys seem to follow fads, so it’s good that Amazon has it whenever I need to buy a new one.
