Best tiaras I have found
The media could not be loaded.
These are the best tiaras I have found and here’s why. They are super durable. They will not break right away like most I have found. I like that they DON’T have raised gems in them because those often fall out and become a choking hazard. These are much safer for toddlers to play with especially around other younger siblings. These are super affordable and I would recommend them as a present as they are so cute. NOTE: they also match the necklaces & shoes M&D sell.

Best Dress Up Crowns
It is amazing how Melissa & Doug can consistantly make products that stand the test of time. These crowns go from my granddaughter’s head to my head to grandpa’s head without any damage. I like the tiara style the best. The combs on the crown style don’t always hold fast, but for inexpensive crowns it is to be expected. The colors are perfect for her selection of princess dresses. I would definitely recommend these to a friend.

Great, but could be more flexible
My daughter loves these crowns, but unfortunately one broke on day two of play. It was absolutely my daughter’s fault, as she stretched it too far when trying to put it on herself. Having said that, I wish the gold and silver crowns were slightly more flexible to allow for toddlers to easily play with them. The pink and purple ones are way more flexible and I don’t foresee us having problems with those, but I don’t anticipate the gold crown lasting too long either because it’s so rigid.Having said all of that, four crowns for $10 is a good price and I’d buy these again (and probably will once they all break haha).

I’m not impressed
I bought these for my daughter’s second birthday. The pictures in the listing looked great but the actual product is not impressive at all. I was expecting them to sparkle and have plastic gems but they don’t. They are cast plastic with painted indents in the shapes of gems. The upright two are a very flat color. I’m really bummed. It’s too late to get replacements and I have truly seen better quality at the dollar store. Super disappointing.

Overall worth it as my daughter still plays with the 2 jeweled crowns and I bought this 4 years ago. The other two plastic ones aren’t really usable as they don’t stay on and seem cheaply made compared to the jeweled one. Worth the money though

No breakable pieces!
This product is well designed and perfect for the toddler who likes to be more than one type of princess. Mine has assigned princess themes to each of the crowns and wears them while she plays that particular role. While she is extremely amusing, she also likes to bend her crowns and these have stood up to her ministrations. They are also extremely safe because they don’t have stones but use a single piece of plastic with painted-in indentation to achieve the same effect. Very well built and not a choking hazard to the toddler. Happy parent here!

Favorite Accessory for DressUp
I purchased the Tiaras to go with a cape for my granddaughter. She was thrilled. The package contains 4 tiaras. Two are made like headbands and these are the first choice to wear by my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter who tells everyone she is either a princess or a queen depending on the day. The other two tiaras have combs on the ends so they sit more upright on the head. This will work better when she is older but her hair now is babyfine and does not hold the comb easily. Some reviewers indicated that they were unhappy that the tiaras don’t actually contain jewels but have indentations that look like jewels. I find this to be a definite plus. Nothing to fall out and end up in the mouth. The indentations are painted with shiny colors and really do look like jewels. So far none of them have broken and they go everywhere with her. To daycare, to the mall, etc. Nice job, Melissa and Doug!

Super cute crowns that all the little girls love to wear. Sturdier then any others I found for similar price (nice that all the “jewels” are just painted on and not actual plastic jewels glued on like others we tried (jewels just popped off within a couple days). Only complaint is they are a tad small circumference wise for my girls’ heads (ages 2&3, head size probably in 70th percentile range). My girls still enjoy them, they are just a little snug (especially the pink a purple ones)

Durable
I bought these to go with Halloween costumes for my 1 and 2 year olds. I was worried they’d be broken before we got the chance to wear our costumes. But, these tiaras are very durable. It is now December and my kids are still playing with them and none have broken. Definitely worth the money.

Fabulous
Melissa and Doug never disappoint me. These were exactly what we wanted. I love that there are two styles of tiara, headband and crown with combs. They fit my littles (ages 3-10) very well and are thick enough plastic that it will take some time before they get distroued, even with vigorous play. I am very satisfied with this purchase and they are a great value for the price.

Cute But Smallish
They’re exactly as pictured, and of pretty reasonable quality for the price. Plastic, slightly flexible, very bright. My kids love them, and I’m pretty satisfied with the purchase. The only complaint I’d have is that these definitely run small. My kids have to stretch them to fit onto their heads, and complain after 10 minutes or so that the crowns hurt. But since they rarely wear a crown/tiara that long and tend to trade them out frequently, it’s not a huge issue in our case. If the child(ren) you’re buying these for want to wear their crown all day or for hours at a stretch, I’d recommend finding ones a little bigger for their comfort. Contrary to what my mother used to say, being beautiful (or regal) doesn’t have to hurt!

Genuine Plastic Tiaras for fantasy play
If you have a little princess or queen at home then this is a cute tiara collection to bring a smile to their face. The gold and silver tiaras are super cute and they are relatively flexible and sturdy. The pink and purple tiaras are more like a hair band and the gold and silver fit more like crowns or bun crowns if you have an older child. They are 100% plastic no metal and no jewels, everything is painted on which I prefer because they won’t fall apart after wear and tear from a little “king”. My child loves all of them and frequently wears her tiaras around the house.

Nice set, happy daughter
I like that they don’t have stones that could be lost. They are just as pretty as any other dress up crowns I have seen, and are nicer than most. My only complaint is that the lavender and pink ones are a little tight on my 4 yr old’s head (she is a little big for her age, though.) She still wears them, just not for extended periods of time, and has not complained. It was just my observation that they are a little tight. Still happy with my purchase!Update: April 14, 2016My 5.5 yr old daughter STILL loves these tiaras. I noticed yesterday that the silver one has some chipping on the edges, but they still sparkle and shine, and she still seeks them out to wear them herself and force her brothers to wear them. The painted ‘stones’ are not chipped at all, there is no fading. Still very happy with my purchase!!

Exceeded my expectations
These are great! Easily fit toddler heads (and even Mommy heads on occasion
don’t get tangled in sensitive hair and stand up to rough play! I am throughly impressed with how flashy and bejeweled these look for not having any separate pieces attached. The plastic is indented in the shape of the jewels and then painted with some sort of very shinny paint that doesn’t chip or flake. I was hesitant to buy our toddler costume jewelry for fear that the pieces would come apart and pose a chocking hazard to our infant. These solve that problem and look as though they will last for years of princess dress up. I would buy again and gift in the future!

Perfect Fashion Accessory for a Toddler Princess!
***Updates are located at the bottom of this review.******Original Review***My three-year-old daughter has been in her princess phase for a little while now and she kept using her dolls’ tiaras on her head since she didn’t have any of her own. Luckily Christmas was coming up so I did some research on dress-up tiaras to find the nicest ones without spending a lot of money. Most of the tiaras I came across had reviews where they broke fairly easily and then I found these Melissa & Doug ones! We have some products by Melissa & Doug so I already knew to expect very good quality. I was delighted to see that we could get four tiaras and crowns for a pretty decent price so I ordered them.On Christmas morning, my daughter was ecstatic to open these and wanted to wear one right away! There are a total of four pieces: two tiaras that fit like a headband and two crowns that sit on top of your child’s head. There is one pink tiara and one purple tiara with fun, vibrant colors painted on to resemble jewels. The tiaras are made of thick plastic that have held up amazingly well so far. There is one gold crown and one silver crown and both have a couple of comb prongs on each side on the back so they stay in place. Just like the tiaras, there are pretty, bright colors resembling jewels and they are also made of thick plastic.I am very pleased with the quality of these. She has played with them nearly every day and they are still in great condition. My daughter has an average-size head for a three-year-old and they fit her nicely. I am so happy with the quality of these tiaras and crowns that I am looking to get her the accompanying dress-up wands for her birthday so she can have even more fun! If you are looking to purchase a crown or tiara for a little girl for dressing up or birthday parties, these would be a great choice. Overall, the price per headpiece is much better for four of these than you would pay individually for many of the other ones I’ve seen in stores or online plus the quality is excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase these if for some reason we lost some or wanted more for a birthday party. I highly recommend these tiaras and crowns!***Update 10/16/2016 – My daughter received these crowns and tiaras for Christmas last year and still loves them! She plays with them daily and they have mostly held up nicely. I included a picture of the three out of the four we have left because these three are still in great shape after months of use. One of the crowns broke in half when I accidentally stepped on it and, even with super glue, we were unable to repair it. Considering the other three are still in perfect shape and the fourth only broke because of an accident, I am still keeping my five-star rating.

You definitely feel like a princess
These are beautiful crowns and hold up well. I gave them to my daughter for her 5th birthday and she wears them all day every day . So they are comfortable and have put up with toddler roughness. She has a 2 year old sister who also wears hers. If you are looking for some beautiful crown options this is the way to go!

Amazingly durable.
We bought these crowns about 6 months ago and were randomly gifted a bunch of other cheap crowns at the same time. ALL of the others have broken, but these crowns are still holding strong. Highly recommend. I also like that they come in slightly different sizes so they can grow with the kids. Great for ages 1-5 I’d say.

Love the construction
Has the illusion of gems because of the way the crowns are cut and painted. Enough flex to take a reasonable amount of abuse from toddler place, very cute and my toddler loves playing with them as well as the Melissa and Doug necklaces that are made very similarly and her dress up princess nightgowns. Very happy little princess.

Out of the many toys I have purchased from Melissa and doug I was pretty disappointed in this one. I guess you can’t get 100% satisfaction. I’m a loyal customer to Melissa and Doug but these were sub par. My daughter won’t even put them on because she said they hurt her head. I guess for the price what can you expect? Maybe an elastic band would have been better. These have zero flex in them. Would not recommend.

I don’t think any child crowns are non-destructible, at least for my kids, same is true with this set. But these are cute and fun!They view the pink and purple crowns as “fake” because “crowns are supposed to be silver and gold”.Overall, I’d recommend this for our little crown needs.
