Slice and “bake” a dozen wooden cookies for a sweet playtime treat, This colorful wooden set includes 12 wooden, sliceable cookies and 12 toppings, wooden knife, spatula, cookie sheet and a kitchen mitt for safe, deliciously imaginative play, The cookies store in a durable dough tube. The child can then place the cookies on the cookie sheet and pretend the cookies are baking, making sure to hold the “hot” cookie sheet with the oven mitt once they’re done. Well Made and Realistic
I have always loved Melissa & Doug brand items and this item did not disappoint. I first saw the cookie set at my daughters daycare and she was always playing with it when I was coming to pick her up. My daughter (who is three years old) loves this item and plays with it all day long. It is cute to see her using the kitchen mitt and spatula to get the cookies off the cookie sheet. My daughter loves taking the cookies out of the container and placing them on the cookie sheet, she counts the cookies as she does this, so bonus with her practicing her counting. She serves us the cookies and lets us pick which ones we like decorated the most. Playing with this item has actually got her interested in helping me bake for real.Pros:- Cookies are made from thick wood pieces- Cookie bases have velcro so they can stick to cookie sheet so they do not slip off- The Amount of Accessories: Tray which the cookies velcro on, a knife that “cut” the cookies, spatula, oven mitt, and container to hold all the cookies- Can “decorate” the cookie by placing the “icing” on the cookies by velcro- Comes with a container to hold all the cookies- All the items, to include the accessories, in the set seem really durableCons:- The velcro has already started getting dirty (have had it for only about a month) so I am not sure how long it is going to last- One of the velcro pieces on the cookie sheet started coming off due to my daughter putting them on and taking them off constantly. I used super glue and have not had anymore problems yet, but a little disappointing since I have only had a short amount of time- A lot of pieces (a good/bad thing) and my daughter seems to mess up the house a lot with her cookie set- Bulky: Fortunately I have the space for all her items, but to keep things organized due to the amount/size of the items at time can be hard.Overall, I highly recommend this item. Keeps my daughter entertained for hours at a time and she plays with it everyday. I love that she likes to count the cookies as she is playing with them and that it is getting her interested in helping mommy cook in the kitchen.

Great for toddlers!
My 4yr old granddaughter loves these. She can slice the cookies and then decorate them. Putting them on the baking sheet was an added bonus for her and because they Velcro to the pan they didn’t slide around or off the pan.

This set is great for kids that like to pretend cook
This set is really nice quality. The velcro works even after years of the kids playing with it. My kids use every piece of this set. Really nice how they can take off the toppings and change them around. There are many cookies so it’s a nice set that there are many pieces for the kids to share. They love to serve us pretend cookies all of the time. They pretend bake their cookies and play restaurant with each other with these. We’ve had this for a long time and the set is still in really good shape. The cookie case that the cookies are supposed to come in did not last. It is cardboard and it got ruined pretty quickly just kind of fell apart and got all bent up. Not a big deal they really didn’t play with that piece anyways. They still play with these often and when their friends come over these are always a popular toy they play with. Good for all kids.

Great quality.
This little cookie sheet and cookies are the best thing ever! the kids love to stack and create unique little treats when they are playing in the kitchen. These are wooden and they hold up so well with many many putting together and taking apart, the velcro is great quality and stands up beautifully to hours of play.

I got these for my granddaughter for her 2nd birthday. She loves them! It is a really cute set! Wooden, which I like and looks like cookies! Love the cookie sheet and also how you can put them in a roll and cut them apart and decorate them! Highly recommend for a child who enjoys the play food!

Good product ruined by giant, annoying label
This is well made, fun, interactive, and all that good stuff. HOWEVER, the giant label on the underside of the cookie sheet, which could have just been put on the plastic it came wrapped in, is attached using the strongest glue in the known universe. My daughter has this beautifully constructed cookie toy with an ugly sticker indelibly stuck to the bottom describing the toy in 6 languages. Attempting to remove the sticker makes it tear, leaving impossible to remove glue residue and little ugly scraps of paper. For the price that they are asking, you would think they would have tested the ability to open/unwrap the toy to make it ready for use, and selected a better sticker glue. It came wrapped in plastic with a cardboard insert and backing that they easily could have put the sticker on to avoid this issue. The Melissa and Doug brand usually stands for quality, and this is anything but quality.

Not Sturdy

Cute but a little too stuck

My 2 year old and 4 year old both love these!
We have a plat kitchen with an oven and both my kids, but especially my 2 year old daughter, will bake me cookies almost daily. It’s the sweetest thing. The loves to use the oven mitt to take the cookies out of the oven. She even uses the little wooden spatula to get the cookies unstuck from the velcro baking skeet. They seriously thought of everything with this set.Not to mention the cookies and accessories are SO cute. I’m a picky mom (try to be) when it comes to our toys and these really are nice to look at. Plus we bought them at Christmas and they still look brand new even with frequent use (It’s now May.) Love Melissa and Doug!

Fun but could find a better set
I have been dissapointed by the Melissa and Doug sets recently. This one is cute, the frosting comes off and all the cookie parts fit in the tube. But the cookie sheet is poorly made, and the knives to cut the cookes are too fat. Overall I give the set a B- for quality.

Cookies Anyone?
This set is wonderful for kids my grandkids did the review of this Melissa and Doug cookie set. My grandkids are 2 and 3 they loved this set. My grandson had a fun time cutting the cookies then putting then on the cookie sheet he likes cooking the cookies then decorating the cookies he tries to remove the cookies until he did it. He loves this set so much he asked for it to stay at there house. This is a grandma toy but I will definitely bring it over again. I decided to purchase the Christmas Cookie. Version because they well definitely Love especially because there is a Santa decoration and really cute Christmas trees and reindeer and of course a snowman. Fun set. Everything it wood and very sturdy and of course makes a great gift.

Super cute, great for pretend play
If you have a kiddo obsessed with pretend play, this is a great melissa and doug option. I have yet to be disappointed by something from their brand, but this is extra cute. I like that you can cut the dough, good fine motor/”knife” practice and the fact that the pieces of cookie velcro to the pan, is excellent. My 3 year old loves it!

The kids love it
I gifted this to my cousin who is a preschool teacher and she says that the kids love it! They are so durable and vibrant. Coming from someone who doesn’t know kid toys and thinking that this was just too expensive for what it is, boy was I wrong. I was impressed by Melissa and Doug’s toys. They aren’t the bulky kiddish plastic food like when we were kids. They are slick and realistic to what an adult would use. The plus side is that the kids love it. Worth the money!

Only one complaint
This is such a cute and fun toy! I just wish the red cookie container was any material other than cardboard. If it was plastic, it would hold up so much better. Because it’s cardboard it is already destroyed after a few times of being played with. The rest of the product is very high quality!

This toy is absolutely adorable the cookies have Velcro underneath to stay in place. I got this for my daughter for Christmas and so far this is her favorite toy even her big brother enjoyed playing. Both 3 and 6 years old. I highly recommend for imaginative and fun pretend play!

Why would you stick the directions to the actual product?!
Nothing wrong with the actual toy, my daughter loves it. But they stick a GIANT sticker with the instructions directly to the cookie sheet and it’s the kind of sticker that does not come off easy. I’ve been sitting here for almost 2 hours trying to scrape the sticker off and it’s leaving a gross sticky residue that I will have to try and scrub off afterwards. Why can’t they stick it to the plastic wrap around the toy, instead of directly onto the toy?

Melissa & Doug Toys Are The Best!!!
I purchased this for my 2 year old granddaughter and she absolutely loves it! I love the wooden toys for durability. They are so realistic, she thinks she’s actually baking cookies and serving them. Melissa & Doug toys will last for years if you take care of them. I highly recommend buying this for your kiddos or as a gift for a child. I believe it says 3+ for potential choking hazard. I just supervised closely when my granddaughter plays with it since she’s under the age.

Great imagination toy for kids
We originally bought this cookie set about 3 years ago when my oldest was 4, and it has been a staple with my kids ever since. I just bought it again because we lost a few of the icing pieces, and my youngest, now 4, loves having a fresh set. They love to pretend to cut and give out cookies to all of us. My 6 year old isn’t as into it anymore, but definitely recommend for ages 3-6.

Quality
This is the second purchase from this brand that I was disappointed with. I have purchased other items made by them and was happy with. The tube that holds the cookies isn’t very sturdy and the lid is extremely hard for a little one to remove. I had a hard time with it. The cookies sheet is an odd size. It is a to big for the oven door to close all the way not buy a lot maybe 2 inches so that was a disappointment and again the utensils are strange. The spatula is to thick to make it easy to remove the cookies from the velcro and the knife is an odd shape. I gave it a 3 because the cookies are cute and I liked the velcro idea. Also I have 2 nephews and 3 nieces that all have different kitchens made by different companies and the cookie sheet does not fit in any of them😔

Loved the cookies
But the canister that they included is really weak and the cookies fall out both ends. One of the cookies doesn’t have Velcro so my child kept trying to pull it off with no success. The spatula is a little too think to get them off the pan successfully but the quality is superb (other then the canister) I would definitely buy Melissa and Doug products again.

Let’s make Cookies
I gifted this cute little set to my grandson who is obsessed with watching his mamma bake . This set is so cute , durable and even comes with a hot-mitt . Be prepared for cookie tasting , fawning over how hot the cooking tray is and what a wonderful little baker your little one is . We loved it .First off you can never go wrong with wooden toys and M&D products never disappoint .

We only received 11 cookies
I ordered this months ago and just gave it to my granddaughter for Christmas. We only received 11 cookies. Considering she is at the counting stage, it is very noticeable to her one is missing. Is there a way to get a 12th cookies? The product is the quality as expected.

Soooo cute!!
I am absolutely obsessed with all things Melissa and Doug, especially the wooden toys. These cookies are super adorable and have been loved by all of our kids (ages 5, 4, and 2.5). My only complaint is that the Velcro is already becoming less functional after less than a month of use. Other than that, these are awesome and a perfect addition to our play kitchen!

Great cookie set!!
I got this Melissa and Doug cookie set for my granddaughter and she absolutely loves it, she plays with it for hours, I love that it is made of wood so it will last for years to come and it also comes with its own container for the cookies and it has different toppings that just Velcro right on, this is a fantastic set that she will be able to enjoy for a long time, she loves baking us cookies lol It also comes with its own tray to put the cookies on and a little oven mitten, what kid wouldn’t love this!!

Great Quality and open ended play
My 2yo granddaughter played with this at a friends house so I ordered one to keep at my house to entertain her. I love that there are several ways to play with this set. The “decorations” are removable (velcro) so they can add or remove them if they desire. When they are removed, the cookies all velcro together and the toy knife allows them to “slice and bake” the cookies. We look forward to many baking sessions and cookie parties over the next few years!
