Excellent HDMI Splitter 1 in 2 out.
Excellent HDMI splitter, easy to install, small, resistant, one input, two outputs, to duplicate a source on two televisions or monitors. If one of the outputs is 4K and the other is HD, it will send the signal to both outputs in HD. Recommended.

HDMI Splitter, Works Great!
Found this here on Amazon, had another version of this from another manufacturer (stated with S) and it lasted a couple years. This item does what it claims and splits a high quality signal to two outputs (two tvs). I use this for HDMI for splitting a cable receiver to two tvs. One tv is in my home office and the other is in my master bedroom. Sure the channel/signal is the same on both tvs, however you can’t be at two places at the same time. Why cough up more $$$ for 2 receivers when you can split the one signal to two places, thereby saving some rental/leasing fees. I hope this version lasts a long time, which most folks on here said it does. Got an extra one, just in case it breaks. Quality is great so far and works awesome! No complaints so far!

Do your research!
Before buying, please ensure this is what you are looking for! For me personally, I wanted to connect a capture card to my Nintendo Switch while also still connecting a second HDMI cord to my monitor. Without using this, I had to use my monitor through OBS/a screen recording software through the capture card and it had a bit of latency disabling me from playing Smash Ultimate at my best capabilities. Did the job perfectly though!

Even in Extended Mode And With Unidentical Monitors
That is how I am using it now with one LG 46 or 43 inch I bought about a month ago and a Sony 36 or 39 inch I bought more than a decade ago. I am writing this on the computer while watching a show on them. Of course I first used it in the duplicate mode.

This works as expected
Ordered another and it didn’t split the hdmi signal, just re routed it to one of two monitors. This one mirrors one monitor and it works great. No signal loss. Good definition.
My granddaughter who’s 8 wanted a soft little jacket and this was perfect. She loves it! Both items were perfect for her. Great price and I compared..thanks –

Easy even for me!
Thank you for this product. I have NO clue how to hook up anything. Easy instructions. It took me a minute because my tv is from 2009 and has a weird setup. But I was impressed even I did this.

Does what it says
Purchased a TV with one HDMI in, this product worked great. Along with this, I put on a two sides piece of Velcro, and it holds on the rear of the TV perfectly. Seems to be made out of thin metal, but better than plastic.

Well Built and Functions Perfectly
I needed to hook up Philips hearing aids from Costco. Their hearing aids have their own proprietary Bluetooth system, so I needed to use their transmitter. Because my TV is wall mounted, I had limited access to cables, and my A/V unit has no audio outputs. I was using an HDMI audio stripper I had previously purchased from another company. When fast forwarding a recorded program, the signal would drop and the TV would have to reboot. This may just have been a quick of my setup (I have Xfinity). I inserted the OREI HD-102 splitter. One arm of the splitter goes directly to my A/V unit to maintain connectivity. The other arm goes to my audio stripper which outputs to my Philips transmitter. The OREI HD-102 is very well built and has been functioning perfectly for about two months now.

Cool as a Cucumber
I tested this OREI HD-102 HDMI splitter on two monitors and it worked like a charm. One output is connected to the first monitor via a wired HDMI cable. The second output is connected wirelessly, via an HDMI transmitter and receiver, to a monitor placed away at a distance. Video and audio were in sync on both screens with no lag. Heat dissipation was good as I plugged in a Firestick to distribute video to the two monitors (also tried using a media player). After about 30 minutes the Firestick was warm to the touch but the splitter was still very cool. Impressed with this unit so far. Only wish I’d ordered the OREI HD-102C which also has a reset button.

Only one I’ve found that works with long runs.
12′ and a 50′. I got monster size shielded cables and this splitter works. I’ve tried 3 others on Amazon. This is powered. Last one lasted 3 years. Not sure why it quit. So I ordered 2 more.

Can be used to add Soundbar to pc system
So this seems to work great for my application. I use 2 monitors with my desktop computer, I wanted to use a soundbar for the times I have Spotify or Hulu going while I work. The audio jack connection had poor audio. My soundbar does have HDMI in and out, however when the bar goes into sleep mode, the monitor would lose video. I saw some say that I needed an audio extractor, but decided to try this first. I ran hdmi from pc to this, then one hdmi to monitor and one hdmi to soundbar. Everything works seamlessly for me now. Your results may vary but this does work for me!

May be early but impressed!
My challenge was pushing multiple images and voice over a network of security cameras 24/7 while providing these images at multiple observation monitors. The distance restricted 4K image quality and constant loss of images. This ORIE pushes the voice and images up to 400 feet via a powered sender/receiver. I choose to push via a CAT6e line between the sender/receiver unit. At this point I am extremely happy with the quality of both voice and images. Duel power transfer is possible with one 110v power supply and I elected to power from the receiver unit. Since this is powered, place in a well ventilated, non-restricted site as the unit does emit heat. At this point I would purchase again if necessary.

Hey, these incidental gripes aside, it works!
I specifically sought one of these out to solve the failure of the HDMI port on my aging 50”plasma. And, as I exclusively use this as a large monitor for streaming content through my computer, without a solution to bring it this video signal would render it useless, a drop in picture quality was both expected, and acceptable. So, i was presently surprised to find this converter delivered a picture with no noticeable drop in quality from what the HDMI provided before it failed. So, why the four stars? Well for the money, I don’t have a lot of confidence in it lasting very long. and would plan on including it with a portable kit if any kind. The quality of the components used just isn’t there, to withstand multiple connect and disconnect activity. That no HDMI is cord included, is understandable, but having the ones they do provide be different lengths, when the expected run is the same distance for both, begs explanation. Even though the Power Supply to the unit has a bulky adapter. it still uses special connector, you have to keep track of, instead of doing us the favor of powering it via a universal USB. And failing this, at least make the one they do provide long enough to make it from the wall to your TV set. None of my gripes are deal breakers, though, and I’m happy, so far, as this works fine for my intended purpose. Hope this helps! Cheers!

Plug and Play
I had intended to order a unit that had a 110V power adapter instead of this one that requires a user-supplied USB charger. I realized my mistake later and decided to just deal with it. This one comes with the cord; just no charger. The unit has a solid feel with an all metal case. It’s very compact. It’s installed in my workshop that has a small loft upstairs. This splitter lets me keep up with my favorite programs as I move between the loft and the main shop. I’ve noticed that the cable box sees the splitter as a receiving device and does not shut down automatically as it did when attached to a single TV. The small TV upstairs and the larger 32″ downstairs are both older 720p models so the integration was seamless. Yeah, old technology but I had them and they serve the purpose. It’s a shop; not a home theater. With the TVs in my installation there is a difference in the volume level at each TV depending on if one or both TVs are turned on. Each TV is individually louder when both are turned on. There is enough separation between them that it’s not just the cumulative volume of the two. It’s not even noteworthy as a complaint; just an observation. Overall I am satisfied and the splitter works as expected.

Had some issues but resolved, has been stable since
Update 2 (January 2023): At some point shortly after my last update, I was able to get this functioning again. At this point, I don’t remember what I changed. I may have swapped out some cables. The problems I experience (and still occasionally experience) seem to be HDMI-CEC related. Every so often, I have to turn off the power to all of my devices (including unplugging my TV from the outlet), reseat all of the HDMI connections, and power everything back up. This process will typically resolve any feed or control issues. Luckily, this doesn’t happen too often – maybe 3 or 4 times a year. I do still get red lines appearing briefly in my video feed but that also seems to be related to CEC changes or some sort of device negotiations taking place shortly after powering on (and sometimes when a video feed is changed). Overall, this balun is doing its job and working as it’s supposed to – and I’ve had good experience with OREI products in general.Update (March 2022): I am dropping this device to 1 star. It now has just stopped sending any signals, even after unplugging and plugging back in all cables. Ridiculous. Oddly, it works well enough to send the power signal to my TV and receiver from my media player (AppleTV) but then the TV just says no signal. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing.I originally bought the UHD-IPC230-K model ($120) but ran into HDMI-CEC problems – come to find out from the seller that it doesn’t support HDMI-CEC and I needed this model (UHD-EXB400R-K) instead ($160). I’ve had nothing but different HDMI issues with this unit that I didn’t have with the original model or my prior unit that I was looking to upgrade. Even without the HDMI-CEC functionality, the IP230 worked just fine once all components were separately turned on. This new one that seller told me to purchase instead has both picture quality issues and control issues. With some components, my TV will just turn off as if it’s not receiving a video feed. There are multiple, horizontal red lines that flicker across the screen at times (this seems to usually occur between video feed changes – such as going from a show to a commercial). I have constant problems with it sometimes causing my AV receiver to flip-flop between inputs, leading to no sound output until I go to the receiver and manually set the input to the correct source. Overall pretty disappointed with this product at the moment. I’d like to hope/assume that I have a defective unit as I’ve been otherwise happy with OREI products. I’m just disappointed feeling like I paid $280 for one unit that’s sitting on a shelf collecting dust and this one that definitely doesn’t perform well enough for the cost.

Did not help with my PS3 upscaler. Works fine as a normal 1 in 2 out.
I bought this so I could use use my Mclassic upscaler and 1440p emulator combo on my PS3. I was told in the reviews that it would strip the protection the PS3 has with the video handshake. Sadly it did not. Just a black screen. The tv acknowledged a signal was passing but the PS3 was still blocking. For my Xbox360 you can trun off this protection in setting and my upscale combo works perfectly without the splitter. This is how I know that the splitter does not strip the protection. So I took off 1 star because of that.As just a 1 in 2 out it works great.Like most people I think it should have came with a power brick. I find it mildly disturbing that people try and justify you should have a power brick already. The powerbricks I do have are in use by the devices I own. That is also why I took off 1 star.If you are buying this for your PS3 it may still work for you on a capture card like the elgato but sadly not my upscaler/tv.All the new reviews seem to conflict with on another.Good luck.

Helped my KVM switch with small LCD displays
Fantastic product. Cheap and it just works. I use it to provide additional draw so my HDMI KVM will switch between computers with a smaller LCD monitor. Most tiny monitors don’t draw enough power to let the KVM know there’s a video signal needing to be displayed. Well, this device provides just that.

Works Very Well.
I obtained this OREI HDMI Splitter specifically to be able to see six CCTV camera views on a monitor and the same views on a TV in another room. I connected an HDMI cable from the CCTV DVR to the INPUT of the OREI Splitter. I connected another HDMI cable to the first OUTPUT of the splitter and the HDMI INPUT on a monitor. I plugged a wireless HDMI transmitter into the second OUTPUT of the splitter. A wireless HDMI receiver was plugged into an HDMI port on a TY in another room on the other side of the house. The OREI Splitter worked flawlessly. The views on both the monitor and TV were identical and remained stable and clear. This device works as described and it appears to be well-made. The included is helpful, with illustrations and clearly written information. One improvement I would like to see is a little more space between the two HDMI OUTPUT ports. The wireless HDMI transmitter and the HDMI cable I have plugged into the splitter barely have room to fit next to each other. At approximately $15, this splitter is a bargain.

Latency and Video Dropout
First thing I’ll say is this thing does actually work. For that it gets 3 stars. I bought this so my xbox can live in the bedroom, but also play games in the living room. I see no drop in image quality from this product. Everything is as sharp and colorful as it should be.I got the smaller version, no KVM, 4K30 for 55 bucks. THIS IS NOT good for gamers. I haven’t tried the other versions, but this one has lots of latency on the reciever side. I’d say somewhere between 60 and 100ms just based on the feel (it is visible and obvious). The courtesy output on the transmitter side has no latency. Also, the video will drop out from time to time on both the courtesy output and the reciever side, which makes me think this is a transmitter issue. This happens about once every 45 minutes or so.So it gets 3 stars because it actually does perform it’s advertised function, but the poor quality yields it no additional praise. I will probably be upgrading it soon to an HDBaseT system.

Perfect!
I have two high definition televisions connected to the same input feed, one in the bedroom, and one in the bathroom. This was extremely easy to install and worked perfectly. I did need an adapter from USB to plug into a standard outlet for power, but fortunately have a few of those lying around, so it was not a problem. I can display either one or both at the same time. Exactly what I needed, took less than five minutes to install.

At times video resolution not full HD 1080P.
OREI HDMI Splitter (Model HD-102)I am using this splitter between a cable box and 2 TVs (65 inch and 43 inch). I only use one TV at a time. The TV not used is turned off at the surge protector. The splitter is powered on 24/7 plugged into the cable box. I never had a problem with this unit until I switched from the smaller TV to the larger TV without the cable box being in sleep mode. The larger TV was now displaying a lower incorrect video resolution. Restarting the cable box did not fix this problem. The remedy was to turn off the TV then power down the splitter by unplugging both HDMI and USB from the cable box and then reconnecting them. Another time, the cable box was in sleep mode. I turned on my 65″ TV and noticed the picture quality was below 1080P. This time I turned off the TV and powered down the splitter by unplugging the cable box from wall outlet. The take away here is that when you turn on a TV the video resolution may not be full HD 1080P.
