    Were these used??

    I opened them up and the block is damaged in 2 spots, one shown in pic. Multiple knives are scratched up and the orange pieces are flaky on a few. I don’t want to deal with a return over this, but I think I would’ve liked to scratch the knives during my ownership of them instead of them being prescratched and damaged. But, they are nice looking and look sharp. I like the array of different types for the price. Looks nice in my kitchen. The handles seem to have a good grip. The stainless steal should make them easy to clean.

    They are not good for cutting up different veggies and such , due to they are all like hunting knives not one is just a plain blade knife . They are usable but not what I was expecting

    The look better than they perform

    I bought these as a compliment to my kitchen decor. At first use I found them difficult to handle. I didn’t feel safe using them. I sharpened the blades and it really isn’t any better. They are good for small jobs but I fear I’m going to have to invest in a better quality knife set.

    Loved the color scissors were black.

    Great color. Got the set to match my croc pot. The scissors are black. The picture advertised makes it seem like the scissors are the same color as the rest of the set. I wanted the scissors to match the set. I feel like these were thrown in the box last minute. They dont even say Oster like knives do. I’m a bit disappointed. Ruined the vibe for my new kitchen. 😪

    Knife handles are comfortable to use. My problem was the knives are not really sharp. I suggest using a knife sharpener before using these. After I sharpened them, I am enjoying using them now

    Good for the price

    As long as your expectations are in line with a $25 knife set, you won’t be disappointed. I like the handles with the rubber grip. The blades themselves are nothing fancy but they’ll do the job.

    The knives are all sharp and work great! I always towel dry and then air dry them before putting them back in the block. I highly recommend these and they look nice and sleek in black. I was looking for an affordable set that has scissors and looks nice and I found the right one 🙂

    Doesn’t make the cut

    These knives look great on a countertop but useful they are not. The knives seems flimsy when you pull them out of the block as well the blade is not very sharp and does not cut well. If you want something just to help decorate your kitchen these are a great fit, but if you’re hoping to do some food prep or any type of real cutting choose a better product. I wouldn’t recommend the purchase, it was a disappointment.

    no complaints whatsoever

    some people claimed they were not sharp and needed sharpening out of the box??? Not so. I have Chicago cuttlery…one of their knives broke under normal use…called for replacement guarantee. No longer making that particular blade. I actually prefer serrated knives anyway and this kit has it all. I like the shorter height block so I don’t have to fight with getting knives out from under cabinet. Hold up well in dishwasher. I have some problems with my hands and I find these easy to use and comfortable… and I got a sale price on them
