It’s fine
I bought the 6 qt container to store flour. It’s a fine container, but as far as I can tell the vacuum seal doesn’t really do anything. The lid is easy to disassemble and not that hard to clean (I don’t have a dishwasher and wash it by hand) but it’s tricky to get it completely dry. Overall it works fine for what I bought it for, but I don’t think the pop lid has any benefit over just a normal snap-on lid.

Another great product from Oxo
I wanted a container to keep my powdered sugar in and this fit the bill. I bought a bigger Oxo because I bought large bags of sugar at Costco. The container is easy to open and close and keeps the sugar fresh from the humidity we have here in SC.

Doesn’t Work With Accessories Like It Says in the Description
I bought this to use with the leveler, as the description said, “This container has an A lid Type so is compatible with the labels, date dial, leveler, coffee scoop, dusting scoop, and half cup scoop.” Unfortunately, that is not the case. The lid is too small for the leveler. A fine container outside of that.

Homemade baby wipes
I use this container for homemade baby wipes. I cut a costco paper towel roll in half and it fits nice and snug in this container. Lasts a few weeks and they do not dry out. Sometimes the lid doesn’t seal quite right (it gets a lot of use 7x a day) but it still keeps the air out just sitting on top. Repurchased when I dropped it down the stairs and it cracked. Really a great product.

Usable but arrived damaged
I really like these OXO containers and have bought a half dozen or so previously. I can’t remember if I bought this one from Amazon Warehouse but it arrived with one side scraped and scratched so that it’s opaque. Looks like someone rubbed it on concrete until it was no longer clear. I won’t send it back but it’s pretty odd.

Great, large food container

Not the same quality
Wanted to purchase another of these OXO containers because we so frequently use our older one – which is about 12 years old now. We store small dog treats in it and all of our feline and canine fur kids know the sound of it opening! Well, this new version looks the same, but doesn’t quite operate the same. The opening mechanism doesn’t operate as smoothly, the plastic feels thinner, and the sound of it opening is different.

Great containers
I already have a ton of these oxo pop containers, some of them nearly 10 years old. They’ve all held up well, but after several years, some of them stop being fully air tight and need to be replaced. No big deal.

Waffle Mix
Perfect for my Krusteaz Belgian Waffle Mix. Easy wide open so I can spoon the mix into a measuring cup as directed. Keeps the mix airtight and easy pop open top. Love it!!

Great
Bought it store my large bag of Dandy Tea and it is perfect. Fits well in my pantry. Sadly, soon after I bought his my local Costco had an entire set of these (including this large set) for bargain basement prices. I now see that I overpaid for this item by at least a factor of three.

Great for brown sugar storage
We bought this to store our brown sugar, so it doesn’t get hard. Mission accomplished. This is a nice container with a push button on top to properly seal it. It is large enough to store our value sized brown sugar. I recommend this item.

LOVE this thing
It COULD use handles on the side to make picking it up and handling it easier… but overall it’s a GREAT product. The pop-top makes it SO easy to open and reseal. Keeps food fresh (we store Sugar in one of these and Rice in another). Will definitely buy more of these in the future.

disappointed because one was cracked
Great product, in fact I purchased a dozen. The shipping had lots of plastic cushioning, yet one arrives cracked. It would appear that it was packed that way. It was too bad to receive a damaged product. I guess that I could go through the hassle of return, but it does not seem worth it. I am not going to bother for less than $10. I will just try to find a use for the damaged one that doesn’t require it to be airtight, and turn it so that the crack is not visible on the shelf.

Works well but
I ordered two of these and one arrived cracked. I can’t feel it along the outside, so I’m using it anyway. They’re easy to take apart to clean, and they seem airtight otherwise. But if you can buy it in person, I’d do that instead to make sure they’re not damaged first.

Perfect for 5lbs of rice…
This container is perfect for 5lbs of rice with room to spare.N.B. – my original order came with a defect – the pop-up circle wasn’t working – so Amazon gave me a refund. However, I also contacted OXO directly and explained the situation to them and they sent me a replacement.

Great for my dogs food!
I buy fresh dog food and it can really stink up the fridge. I got this and it’s air tight, the smell is gone! It does the job I needed it to do. The lid works great and is easy to use.

Not air tight seal
Overall it’s a good thick plastic storage container. However, the claims that it seals air tight is completely wrong. When you push the button down the lid can still come right off and doesn’t suction at all.

Quite different quality
From the pictures you see the white containers are the ones that I just got. The silver lid container was one that my husband and I had purchased a few years ago. I can definitely see that the silver lid is thicker and doesn’t feel as cheap as the white lids do. Hopefully it will keep the items fresh in our new containers. We will have to see.

Oxo is a good brand, and this works perfect for coffee
I was looking for a good air tight container that was see through to store my coffee bags from. I have their smaller container, which I have some loose grinds in, but I wanted something to just slide the whole bag in, while making it easy to use. Well this is PERFECT. The bag needs a little wiggle wiggle to get it in, but plenty of room to seal it nice and tight, and makes it super easy to see which coffee you have. TOTALLY plan on getting more in the future.

It does its job.
I bought this container to hold a container of Hershey’s powdered unsweetened chocolate. The whole container of chocolate fit into the OXO container well. I’ll have to update this later when I see how well the air-tight claim works.

1 defective lid, otherwise good
I got two of the slim rectangle 3 piece sets, one of the 3 piece large square set with scoops (flour size), and a few individual large square lid in various sizes (2 from this listing). The containers come in 4 profiles of varying height (namely large square, small square, rectangle and slim rectangle). For stacking, and layering reasons I only got large square and slim rectangle (2 slim rectangle are the same width and depth as one large square). They stack well and look nice, I enjoy being able to see the contents. In the whole collection I did notice one defective lid (I think from this listing but they arrived together), and two lids that seemed to not be as secure although they had no noticeable defect. The less secure/defective lids were all on the large square size. I was able to contact the oxo company via phone and they are sending three replacement lids. They advised that if you try to pull the lids off even while locked they will be able to be removed but that this does not mean they have ceased to be airtight. We are currently combating ants and so far none have been able to get in to any of these containers. In addition, our food seems to be staying fresh and things are neater/easier to find. I wish they had more set options because individually they are very pricy and I didn’t want all the shape profiles. It would be nice if every set included size listings. I also wish they had more info on what fits on which size so I didn’t need to do trial and error (their “pop container storage guid” is helpful but not quite enough). These are still seeming like a big improvement to zipper bags or packaging from the store. I removed 1 star for the defective lid and for the higher price and lack of a good set option.

Keeps the brown sugar moist
I bought this to store brown sugar so I didn’t have to keep it wrapped in a ziplock anymore, and it works great! I use brown sugar almost every day for my coffee, so I open it often. The sugar stays moist, without having to use a sugar keeper. This stores a 2lb bag of sugar.

Great Air Tight Storage!
Where I live bugs can be a problem. So, some items (sugar, flour, etc) need to be in air tight storage. This does the job very well and is big enough to hold a good amount of product, so you don’t have to refill it every week.

quality build but high price
The quality is of no question for OXO, very sturdy and thick plastic. However, I don’t think it out-perform other containers that are way cheaper. If you don’t care about the budget, then this is a no-brainer. But if the value for money is something you are thinking about, then go for other cheaper sets. It’s not that much better.

You can generally count on OXO products to do what they are intended to do and this storage container is no exception. I use it for storing flour. It holds a 5 pound perfectly. Well made and seals easily. Lid dismantles for cleaning. Would recommend this item.

If anything, it works for the space I have.
I bought a couple of these containers expecting the air to be pushed out like the others containers that look simular by OXO. The pop top does keep the lid on, but it doesnt push the air out like OXO’s other pop top containers. If anything, it does work for the space I have for my home to store my dog’s food.
