Solid little charger
We bought this battery pack to use as a back-up charger when camping or if our electricity went out. We fully charged it using an electrical charger and it’s been sitting for some months unused. However, it still has three out of four bars lit. The solar sharging option is definitely a plus, although our understanding is that solar won’t power it 100%. Still, if it needs to be topped off or if we were in an situation where there was no electricity it seems like it would be adequate for an emergency phone call or whatnot. The pack itself seems very sturdy and has a nice design (we bought the orange.) It has two USB outputs and a c-usb port for the input to charge it. It has a short strap with a carabiner clip. The flashlight is fine.

The Ultimate Emergency Power Bank Charger: Merge Solar – Your Lifesaver in Any Situation
I can’t say enough good things about the Merge Solar Power Bank Charger! It’s an absolute game-changer for anyone who’s always on the go and needs a reliable source of power for their devices.First and foremost, the solar charging feature is a game-changer. It’s incredibly convenient to be able to harness the power of the sun to charge my devices, especially when I’m hiking or camping in remote areas. I’ve never had to worry about running out of battery on my phone or other gadgets, thanks to the Merge Solar Power Bank Charger. The build quality of this charger is top-notch. It feels sturdy and well-made, and I love the compact and portable design. It easily fits into my backpack or even my pocket, making it a must-have for my outdoor adventures. One of the standout features for me is the high-capacity battery. I can charge my phone multiple times on a single charge of the Merge Solar Power Bank Charger, which is incredibly convenient when I’m traveling or spending extended periods away from a power source. The inclusion of multiple USB ports is a fantastic feature, allowing me to charge multiple devices simultaneously. It’s perfect for when I’m with friends or family, and we all need to charge our devices at the same time.Overall, the Merge Solar Power Bank Charger has become an essential part of my outdoor gear. It’s reliable, efficient, and eco-friendly, thanks to its solar charging capability. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a versatile and dependable portable charger. Impressive battery!
I have to say I’m impressed with its performance. The power bank is lightweight and portable, making it a great travel companion for anyone who needs to keep their devices charged on the go. I even brought it with me on a recent snowboarding trip in the mountains, and it was a lifesaver. The power bank has a high capacity, which means that it can charge my phone multiple times before needing to be recharged itself. This is a huge plus for me, as I use my phone constantly throughout the day (The Ikon pass app is a battery eater) and often find myself running out of battery. With this power bank, I never have to worry about being stuck without a charge. It also has a built-in LED light which would occasionally just come on from being in my backpack, which was a bit annoying but infrequent. While I found the solar charging feature to be a bit of an ineffective gimmick, the power bank still performed exceptionally well as a traditional charging device. The solar charging function takes a long time to charge the power bank fully, so I wouldn’t rely on it as my primary charging method. However, it’s still a nice feature to have in case of emergencies, such as being stuck without a power source.Overall, I highly recommend the Solar Power Bank, Solar Charger with a capacity of 42800mAh to anyone looking for a reliable, high-capacity power bank that is portable and easy to use. While the solar charging feature may not be the most efficient, the power bank’s excellent charging performance and other features more than make up for it.

Big Tough Bank
Relied heavy on this charger on a hunting trip to Colorado. I was impressed with about every aspect of it. It is sizable but holds enough sauce to charge my phone and communicator about 2.5 times each. The light worked great for inside the tent at night. The solar panel does work but I would only rely on it in emergencies as it is quite slow. I sat it in direct sunlight for an hour which was enough to give my phone 1%. Like I said, it would work in a pinch, but I wouldn’t rely solely on the solar capabilities. Overall, really happy.

Impressive quality with durability and amount of charge
I was not expecting that much for the price. However, I was impressed with the amount of juice it gives out, it takes a bit to charge but it’s due to the amount of battery capability it has, if you have a fast charger it goes a long way. The flashlightcomes in handy when it’s dark and do not have a flashlight. Will buy a second one, have bought several before and always get disappointed with the quality and out of juice it stores. I recommend this battery to anyone looking for a battery to charge several hours worth of battery life to phones, laptops and portable gaming counsels.

This will charge pretty much anything.
This has everything you need to keep your devices working. The ample 42,800mah makes this the most powerful portable charger I’ve seen so far. I was able to charge my cell phone 6 times before having to recharge the power bank. It also has a bright flashlight and the best feature is a solar power cell on top that you can use to recharge the unit. I haven’t used that feature yet but I’ll update in the future to see how long it takes to recharge in sunlight. It also has two USB ports to charge two devices at once. This is definitely worth the money if you find yourself needing an external power supply often.Update: The solar power cell works so well. I left the power bank on the dashboard of my car while my phone was plugged into it. My phone was fully charged from 18% and the solar cell kept the power bank fully charged as well. This just keeps getting better.Update. The solar charger grater works very well. There 4 blue LED’s and 1 green LED that lights up when the unit is charging with sunlight. I charged my cellphone with the power bank charging on the dashboard and the power bank wasn’t drained of any power. It stayed fully charged. I love it.

Its okay, But misleading
It should be a 42800mAH bank. But it feels like it only holds about 22800. My other bank can run my camera for 18 hours, while this one seems to only last around 40 hours. The charged amount indicator is very poor. 1-50% is more like 0-5%, and 3-4 bars is more like 5%-80%. The 4th bar stays on the longest, With the 3rd one being a good amount of time. When you see 2 bars, Expect it to dry up soon because you will never see it show up as 1 bar, unless its charging. And thats 1 bar with the 2nd one blinking. Even draining the bank empty and charging it, checking every 5 minutes or so, I’ve only seen it go from dead, to 2 bars. Not sure if I’ve got a faulty product, But i feel like its not. Either way, As a half the intended size power bank, Its working okay. The solar panel charge does not really provide much of anything.

Don’t drop it on the USB plugged into it.
The media could not be loaded.
Oh this thing awesome in many ways. I guess I’m only writing this to say that I dropped my off my work bench while I had it on charge and it hit the USB cord right at the plug in such a perfect way that it broke all the plastic mounts on the inside of the device that hold the circuit board in place. This can be extremely dangerous if those lithium battery’s short out inside the device because the main board is just flopping around in there. And there’s plenty of room inside for it to flop around. I ordered a new one and went ahead and cracked this one open so I could upload some pics for everyone. The main board is held in place by two skinny little post about an inch tall and secured in such a way that the leverage to break the mounts is actually working for the breaking of it. If that makes any since. Basically you can break these just by plugging in a tight USB plug and forcing it really hard it’s going to break. If it does, don’t unplug the cord. Leave it plugged in because it will be the only thing that gives you any control with using the other two or the power button. Oh and for some reason I was thinking that there would be a bunch of 18650 battery’s in this thing but no, its two big folded battery’s one on top the other. And you can see in the pictures that I took a big bread cutting knife and sawed through the middle of the double sided sticky foam that was securing the solar pannel to the battery’s so there would be no more shit getting broken during the separation of those two . Don’t try using a knife against the battery for goodness sake and don’t pry the two apart because that double sided sticky foam will win that battle…. so now that I’ve got it apart and I know what I’m dealing with I’m going to dab some liquid electric tape on the giant soldering spots on the board and the JB weld the hell out of the plastic mounts that broke off and then I’ll have to JB weld the case back together as well because they build these things intentionally to no come apart so all four corners have broken tabs and then all four on one side and two of the four on the other side all broken. Now that I see how it comes apart I can definitely say that they have to break to open these up. The part you would think to push on with a pick or small flat head screw driver is actually backwards and your only pressing the hook deeper into the loop. Way to much explanation but whatever. I still give it 5 stars. Oh and these battery’s are a great way to get your camp fire started if all else fails. So I used JB weld on the foam that I cut in half (overkill) because I used the foam surface for mixing it and applying it to the back of the circuit board as if it needed any more strength after I used brass mounts and screws through the case to hold the mount. The picture shows how tiny they were and with them being hollow for a screw to be inserted, but not using a screw on the case side, it just made it weeker. It’s all back together now and apart from a few scratches and the two screw heads now on the underside I can’t tell the difference between the new one I ordered for nothing and this one. 5 stars. Plus one.

Purchased for emergencies
I’ve purchased numerous power banks over the years for work and emergencies. This pack has the largest reserve of power yet. As with all rechargeable batteries and battery banks there comes a time when they no longer hold as much power as they did initially or completely quit charging all together. My husband’s old battery pack fits into the latter so I purchased this to replace it. It started off with 3 lights showing that it was mostly charged but not completely. It took a full day, day and night, to complete the charging of the pack. My husband really likes it so far. We’ve lost power for a week when a tornado took out our electricity. We lost power for 3 days in 2021 when Texas went through “Snowmeggedon” and the windchill was at negative 3 degrees. Needless to say we’ve learned to not only survive but thrive during those times and this is one of the tools in our “arsenal.” I would recommend that everybody do their due diligence because I don’t see things getting better and it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Handy for travel!
I got this because I lived in East Africa where I would sometimes be far from a power source and there was plenty of sunshine. It’s been pretty handy to carry for places where I need to recharge my phone and can’t get to an outlet and it also works as an emergency flashlight and a small compass. I bought two more for friends in E Africa. The cover for the charge input and output is a little hard to take off. It’s easiest to do if you use four fingers. Of course, it takes longer to charge it using solar, so if you’re new to using a solar charger like this, don’t expect it to charge in the same time outside in the sun as it does in a power outlet! The flashlight is quite strong.Very sturdy and has a small carabiner clip.

multiple charges, great for travel
This thing is AWESOME!! I bought 3 for our household so everybody would have plenty of charge while traveling. We went camping and this not only charged our phones multiple times, but it barely put a dent in the overall charge supply. Highly recommend if you never want to be without a charge no matter where you go.

The build is sturdy and durable, making it a reliable companion for hiking, camping, and traveling. Having multiple charging ports is incredibly convenient, catering to all my devices. Weird USB Set Up
This battery bank is great, and the solar option is very cool. As others have said, the solar panel does not fully charge the battery, but it does give it enough juice to get some of your devices up and running again. The little flashlight is nice to have on something like this too.The weird thing is the USB arrangement. It’s got 1 USB-C and 2 USB-A. Ok, that’s fine, except that the USB-C is used for charging the battery itself, not your phone. The A’s are for output. This is mostly annoying and requires you to have USB-A cables or use adapters. I attempted to use my Apple magnetic charger on my iPhone via a USB-C adapter to USB-A and it did not work.So if you’re packing this, make sure you have the right cables available to charge it via a wall (like a MacBook charger), and to charge your devices.

Lasts, but not as long as described.
This lasted for two complete phone, one 75% charge, and a full charge for a high beam flashlight.Lasts longer than any other pack I’ve used but not as long as described, which I didn’t really expect anyways.Durable; lasted though a 4 day backpacking trip swinging on the back of my pack and did well exposed to drenching rain for 12 hours or so.The solar re-charging is slow but is expected for the size of the panel and capacity of the battery pack.Overall it is not perfect but is well worth its cost.

It does its purpose
So I bought two of these not knowing that the cord that comes with it is not capable of doing Fast Charging, let along being able to do regular charging. I have a samsung galaxy s22 ultra and it keeps telling me that it is “Slow Charging”. Instead of charging my phone, it’s actually decreasing the percentage of my battery life. You’d have to use your own charger cord with Fast Charging capability to be able to charge faster. It’s bulky so it can take up a little bit of room if you’re going on camping or hiking. It can charge under the direct sunlight but it will take days for it to fully charge. You’d have to plug it into an outlet to charge it which might take about a whole day to fully charge. Nevertheless, it does hold a lot of power of 42800mAh so you can charge two devices simultaneously. If you have Fast charging cord, it will charge it quick and the battery would still hold that much power after. It’s unfortunate that the cord that comes with it did not work for me and have to buy another cord separately. However, if it works for you…Awesome! If not or have not bought it yet, be advised that you need your own charging cord to charge normally or Fast charging. Hope this review is well informative to help you make your decision on whether or not to buy this.

Great product to have for Domestic flights only
My demanding job requires me to fly out every month. I have to say this product ALONE is extremely beneficial to have. HOWEVER, for domestic flights it will pass through customs (TSA Pre-check…etc). For INTERNATIONAL flights because it’s over 100AMhs limit it will be confiscated by customs personal. I was extremely furious with EVA Air international for confiscating mine. I explained to me I’ve traveled with this item a multitude of times for ALL of my domestic flights. Customs personal advised for international flights it was over the limit. As of today I’m still going buy this product for my domestic flights and then I’ll purchase a second one for my international flights.

Great product
Charged it before my Mexico trip of 12 days. I used it throughout my trip charging both my phone many times and once someone else’s. Once I let it get power from the sun, although I’m not sure how much power it got from the sun. Didn’t have to charge the power bank at all during my trip, it lasted a lot and actually had a little bit of juice when I went back home.

Seems finicky in recharging solar. Put it side by side with another and it had far less success in recharging. What charge it builds, it does seem to hold. Heavy, as others are as well.

Solar doesn’t work very well
If you charge this at home it works very well. But don’t expect to leave with a dead battery pack and for it to charge in the sun. I would purchase again because it was helpful to have in the diaper bag when the stroller fan or my phone died. Once our power went out during a storm and it was 80 degrees inside. I’m glad this was charged bc I was able to plug a stroller fan into it to keep my newborn cool for a few hours until the power came back on.

Worth every last penny!
Got this item years ago and never wrote a review. However, I still have it and it still works perfectly. It takes a while to charge however, with a full battery while camping, I can charge my phone and power a small Bluetooth speaker for 2-3 days without recharging it! Solar panel is handy for leaving it out in the daylight for a little extra charge too (panel IS to small to effectively charge it u less you wait DAYS to use it but it DOES help!)

Run Low No More…
Super power backup strong. Running low on power, worried about losing phone power – have no fear Power bank is here. This thing has the power to recharge it quickly and effortlessly. Be mindful of airline regulations when traveling though – check before you take it with you – limitations per airlines. Overall I keep it in my satchel for use whenever and wherever I go. Feels good knowing I can recharge it solar or wall socket..

Performed better than expected!
This is a gift for my wife and she loves it. She lives in the ranch in Mexico and the light utilization is extremely useful. The charging ports make it easy whenever there’s power outs (quite frecuent). A feature I love is the solar charging. This is meant for emergency use and knowing that my wife will always have a light and to charge her phone gives me a peace of mind. Seeing the greenlight turn on when solar charging is quite fun to look at seeing how it reacts to different light intensity.

Really impressed with the battery life!
First of all, it came about half charged and included a charging cord (no charging block, but no biggie) so that was nice! I took this on a week long camping trip with a full battery and NEVER had to recharge it. I did leave it out in the sun to use the solar charging during the day, which helped keep its charge throughout the week, in fact there was still power in it after my trip. I probably didn’t even need to leave it in the sun to charge because the battery capacity is HUGE!:) I will say, it’s probably better to just charge it with the cord provided, but the solar feature is really cool. I love that the charging ports have covers so no dirt/ sand/ water gets in. It is a little bulky but didn’t bother me & you really can’t complain because the capacity of the battery in this thing is huge. Overall 10/10 recommend

Really powerful battery!
I usually don’t like to write comments without checking the quality of the purchased product. I bought this battery a year ago, after checking it I came to conclusions. This is a really powerful battery, I have not checked the actual battery charge in numbers. But it was able to charge my phone more than three times from minimum to maximum and still had some left. And my phone requires a lot of time and power. As for solar charging, I completely drained the battery and put it on the window to charge. In one day of charging on the window, it was able to charge my phone by 7%! For me it’s a very good option, but it’s up to you to decide whether it’s good or not!!!

Worked as planned!
Just got back from a ten day camping trip with out any camper hook ups. We had to conserve trailer battery power and this was just perfect for charging our phones and running a small dvd player! Was 100% when we left home and it kept everything charged up in that ten days, got home and it was at 9%! Took a full day plus to recharge it back to 100%.I do agree that the solar panel on this charger really does not improve performance nor maintain it. But,, some how some way I am sure it helps!

I’m still getting to know this charger. It has gone through 2 full charges so far and I’m still impressed with the speed in which is charges my devices.4 star is due to the product image showing 2 when the listing is for one. Big capacity, but wished it could be charged more through the Sun
This is a large power bank, but it holds enough power to charge my phone completely twice! I was shocked at it’s capacity for that much storage. However, I was hoping that the solar panels would be more effective beacuse it is slower than I thought it would be. I placed it on my window all day and it charged my phone about 20 percent. If you use a wire, it would take about 2 hours to completely charge it again. The flashlight is VERY bright, so it would be great for anyone who is camping. If you’re planning this for everyday use, be aware that it is a little heavy and takes up a lot of space. Overall, this is a very effective power bank and has its issues that could be overlooked

The BEST!
I bought 2. One for my husband & one for myself & they’re outstanding! I bought them in case of emergency but I use mine nearly every day. It charges my iPhone up super fast & holds a charge for days. If you want to recharge it with solar then it will take forever but if I needed to it would work. I highly recommend this product especially for people who go off grid or live in areas that lose power often. I’ll never be without one!

Great product. Works flawlessly.
I loved the functionality of this charger. It is a little bulkier than my others but the piece of mind of the solar function is easily enough to offset that. I took it on a cruise in Sept and although I didn’t use it much, my teenage nephews needed it constantly during the excursions as dumb kids always forgot to charge their phones overnight. Overall, pleased beyond my expectations. Would definitely recommend..and great color.

When I bought this I thought it was smaller, however, that is not a bad thing, it is light for its size and holds a ton of power.Solar charger works better than expected charges even on bad overcast days.Had a power failure during a snow storm, this device kept two cell phones and a tablet charged for two day without any noticeable loss in performance.

Bulky and Powerful
Very big and bulky, but great for things like camping. I can charge my phone several times before it dies.

Perfect for people in the service
This was purchased for my son who is on active duty and in the field a lot. This came in handy! At first, he didn’t feel he would use it that much but he said he really used this the most out of other items I bought for him to take with him. He said it holds charge for a long time and he was successfully able to charge his phone when he misplaced his charging cord. He also said once he needed a flash light to use for a middle of the night adventure and he couldn’t find his phone but remembered this baby had a flashlight in it! I strongly recommend this for your loved one in the service!

A must have!
Works well and as described. Pay attention to the dimensions as it is larger than your everyday home charger.

Important Device
I’m adding this device to my disaster preparedness kit. There is only a very small explanation pamphlet included. So I put these labels on for my quick reference. It took about 4 hours for the initial charging. I am keeping this item out of my disaster Kit just so that I can remember to charge it once a month. I am keeping it in my phone charging area in my home.

POWER TO GO!

I bought this a couple of months ago, and I didn’t want to review it until I had a chance to use it. 42,8000 mAh is it is a tremendous amount of power. I had my iPhone 13 max with me and a set of rechargeable headphones and a high intensity, USB light on a trip. I was amazed that this could top off everything I brought every day including two friends. The best way to use this is once you get down to about 60% on your phone or your TV or whatever you decide to run off of this at 60% do you want to plug in the charger. Because of the amount of energy stored in this charger, the ability to collect energy is OK. I had it on a pack, mostly facing the sun, and when I got settled in, I made sure that it had sunlight and it made a big difference. The light is bright. All you do is hold down the power button and that will give you 3 to 4 blue lights showing how much capacity you have left. If you do a quick one too on the buttons, the light will turn on 12 and the lights turn off or use it at home to charge things that are in an area where there is no plugs and I can leave it there for a week topping off my phone and then I go and plug it in and charge it back up a few hours later I take it back and plug my stuff back in. Great product especially if you have it in your backpack go out into the world with multiple devices. I just don’t have enough juice to make it through the day. This solar charger will get you through the week. I really enjoy using it.

Life Saver
This is super convenient and I am considering buying another to keep in the car for emergencies. It charges very quickly, is not that heavy considering its capacity, and does not overheat when charging unlike other power banks. It also uses usb-c to recharge the power bank, whereas most use micro-usb. Having a usb-c charging port for the bank is a huge plus.
