    Good Quality Flour Sack Towels!

I’m a prolific baker, and I’m constantly in need of clean, white “rising” towels, so I did what any good girl does! Go to Amazon!I also use these towels when I hand wash dishes. They are so absorbent. The towels have an appearance of medium thickness. They’re also easy to keep clean, because they’re white, and can be bleached. Some other towels seem to be water-resitant, but not these! A quick dry on a towel rack does the trick.

    Received dirty products.

This is my second time purchasing these towels and I loved the first package of them I got awhile back but I just received my order and they look different, feel different and they came dirty. Very disappointing.

    Nice, but not perfect

Quality is what I was Looking for, however a lot of the towels have light staining on them. Even though they were prepackaged and appeared unopened

They do as they’re supposed to!

They’re thin, but that’s what I wanted. They fit on my towel holders so easily and clean up messes with ease! Will order again if ever needed☺️

    Not worth it.

Loved the material but the hems were terrible. They were all slightly different sizes and a couple came with holes in the corner. After washing the hems fell apart on over half of them.

Exactly what I needed for my machine embroidery crafts

    Color difference

I probably should not have purchased solely on the image and actually read more thoroughly, but the dish towels are not white. They are more of a tan/cream color. They will still work for fabric markers as a gift, but I was a little disappointed. Other than that, the quality seems nice. It’s a thicker cloth.

Shrunken and raveled after one wash

I purchased these to use as stocking stuffers for my girls, but once I saw them I figured I should wash one first. They shrank considerably unraveled along the edge after one wash. In my opinion it would be a HUGE mistake to purchase these with the thought of spending time and effort embroidering and gifting! They are going back.

    Just ok

These towels are just ok. Smaller than I am used to and more open weaved than I like. I’ve used a couple to try out so won’t return them but I would recommend paying a little more for better quality. They do the job ok…not great.

    Loose weave, poor seam production

This was not the quality I was expecting. I love using flour sack dish towels for drying and bread making but have had holes developing in my set that I have used for the last five years, so I was looking to replace them. These towels are much smaller than I was expecting (my fault for not looking at the size), but worse yet they are not very high quality. The weave is much looser than I expected and the seams are not very straight – the towels did not all end up rectangular in shape as a result. I still ended up washing and drying them and am letting my daughter practice tracing with fabric paints on them since she’d been excited to do that. We’ll use them, but they certainly would not be giftable towels.

I’ve been using flour sack kitchen towels for over 40 years!

Nothing compares to these in the kitchen! These flour sack kitchen towels have become an indispensable part of my kitchen. They are incredibly versatile, absorbent, and a joy to use. Whether I’m drying dishes, cleaning up spills, or even using them as makeshift pot holders, they never disappoint. Their simplicity and effectiveness make them a must-have in any kitchen. I can’t imagine my culinary adventures without them!

    Good quality.

These are the nice, like the dish towels I remember growing up: absorbant, not too thick or thin, they’re sturdy and do not leave lint residue behind. They wash up well and have not shrunken, puckered or come apart.

    first time of buying these

I got these more to cover baked items while cooling and wiping hands; for that they are great. Not sure for much else though. They are super thin and come clean in wish though I do wash them in laundry bag as afraid they would get detroyed in the wash.

    Basic quality, clean, prefolded.

I bought these plain white to add iron on’s for some handmade Christmas gifts. They are thinner than some I’ve seen but are perfect weight for what I wanted. I like the light weight of these to dry dishes with, I’m sure the recipients of these will enjoy them!

    Perfect for cloth diapers!

The media could not be loaded.

The most inexpensive part of cloth diapering!! I pair these with any and all inserts for my cloth diapers. They are light weight but still absorb plenty. They dry quickly and are ready to go again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Missing towels

The towels are good. I only received 12 towels, instead of the 15 advertised. I had no green striped towels.

  33. John T.

    3.0 out of 5 stars

    They’re decent.

They absorb well. They’re good for wipedown of surfaces, as well. The one drawback is also the same thing that gives them another benefit: they’re thin. So, they won’t absorb much if you have a lot of liquid to wipe up, but keep two around, and they dry quickly, so you can rotate their use.

    Nice feel but not square

These towels have a really nice feel. I would rate the texture of the towel a 5. However, only 7 of them were square enough to be able to fold nicely. The others were shaped so wonky that you just couldn’t fold them, 1 wasn’t hemmed so it came out of the wash looking tattered and one had what looked like a rust stain on it so in to the “crappy towel bin” it will go. So, for overall quality I would rate them a 2. Even though they’re not square I can still use them for the intended purpose except for the tattered one and the stained one.

    Low Quality

VALUE PACK = Low Quality. Great price! However, they are not as absorbent as claimed and was a bit disappointed in the overall quality.

  37. Sharon P.

    3.0 out of 5 stars

    Questionable!

Well, they arrived yesterday and seemed dirty. Currently they are in the 3rd laundry wash to which I’ve added Oxy-Clean. I noticed a few had flaws in the fabric, which I can deal with in my kitchen, but these are a part of a gift project….opps! And there are no green stripes as the photo indicates and it seems that there are 6 with black stripes……so, a little questionable. Thankful I didn’t pay more.

    Cheaply made

I bought these to make funny tea towels for friends. I think the reviews were misleading. These were very thin and extremely cheap looking and feeling. If I had more time to return and rebuy I would’ve. I didn’t pay much for them so I guess I got what I paid for but I was expecting something different since the reviews said otherwise. I’m not sure if they changed their product or if others were not being honest. But these weren’t good at all. I will not purchase again

Work well but warp after washing.

The flour sack towels aren’t super sturdy, but they do well for general kitchen work. They do warp weird after washing but if that doesn’t bother you, they should be fine!

Purchased these as blanks for embroidered towels for the craft fair season, probably end up giving as gifts too, Who doesn’t like an embroidered towel, to use or just have as a bit of pretty somewhere.

    A little disappointed.

I cloth diaper and use flour sack towels as inserts. I have mainstays ones that were 28”x29”… so I got some of these in hopes they’d be the same. They say they came “pre-shrunk”. I washed them immediately after getting them and they shrunk literally a good two inches both directions. It’s kind a bummer because now when I fold them how I do for my inserts they’re to short. They still perform well, they just shrink a lot so beware of that.

these were much too thin for craft projects to be worth the time or materials

I bought a more expensive set a few years ago for crafts/presents and ordered this cheaper option when I used them up. I found these were really see-through and not worth using my crafting materials on. They’re probably good for using in cleaning and to dispose of after a few uses. I’ll pay more for the other set I bought prior for crafting.

    Nice paper bathroom towels

I’m a big fan. I put these in my guest bathroom. Also, I recommend cutting them in half – no one needs that much paper and I think of all the trees….
