Great gift!
I purchased this for my son to wear at the beach on his honeymoon, so he wouldn’t get sunburned. He absolutely loved it! He said it was so comfortable and protected him from the sun. Love the bright color! Would buy again!

Comfortable fit

Effective
I purchased the black color in medium. Fit was great for a tall female – have had issues with length on UV shirts / rash guards designed for women, but this was a perfect length. Lightweight material yet still protects from sun. Wore for a midday float trip and was fully protected from sunburn. Would buy again.

Love the shirt. No more sunburn.
I love the Speedo water shirts. They provide very effective skin protection and are comfortable, good-looking, and quick-drying. Their durability is fantastic. I’ve had the short-sleeve versions of this shirt for 8 years and they are still in great shape, despite frequent use and machine wash/dry cycles.This long-sleeve version provides the same Speedo quality, while the long sleeves provide added sun protection for long days by the pool or in the ocean. The shirt’s material is great at wicking moisture so that I stay cool, even in the sun. I’ve been using this shirt for about two months and it is terrific. I now have a lot less exposed skin that requires sun screen.I tried a cheaper knock-off version from Amazon that looked similar to the Speedo, but was significantly less expensive. I figured it was worth a try. I returned it because the material quality and the fit/finish were lacking. I went back to Speedo brand. Highly recommended.

Great Shirt at a Great Price
I have very pale skin (Celtic-origins), so I burn easily. This shirt was perfect for a 10-day boat trip in the Caribbean. Protects to 50+spf as billed. It dries more quickly than my other shirts, and appears to be durable so far. No fading after more than a week in sun/salt water. Fit is just slightly loose compared to other shirts of this style. A Medium fit me perfectly (5’11”, 178lbs, 42in chest). Will buy again in other colors.

When it gets wet it gets very heavy
These shirts are very comfortable and look good. I bought 2 of these for a trip to Florida and expected to wear them at the beach and at Water parks. They worked great for the water park but at the beach I ended up just taking it off. Once you’re in the water and they get soaked they seem to hold a lot of water. Just lifting my arms out of the water felt like I had weights tied to them and the material clung to my skin which was very uncomfortable. I would recommend these to wear if you’re not going into a pool or the ocean.

Keeps You Cooler
My dad always wore white button down dress shirts out fishing because he said it kept the sun off him and still breathed enough to keep him cool. We gave him a lot of grief but I hate to tell him he’s right.I started wearing these shirts while swimming, kayaking, hiking on hot days and I don’t know if I’d ever go back to not wearing them. As long as you pick light colors, they reflect the heat off of you, and they keep you cool when they are wet. I wore one recently on a 90+, breezy day and I was actually chilly when I got out of the water. The fabric also is very light-weight and dries quick so you’re not wet all day. On cooler days, they do provide some warm much like a rash guard but don’t expect miracles.I got these while on sale so I thought the price was pretty good and ended up getting a few of them. The large was pretty typical for me and even seems a little on the longer size; I’m 6’2 215lbs and most shirts are usually short on me if I don’t buy one I drown in.

I don’t have long enough arms
I’m 5’ 10, 220 lbs, so I need an XL. Only problem is, the arms are way too long on the XL. I can imagine the Large would fit me like a wetsuit. So I’ll just have to deal.

Best protection short of a wetsuit
I wore this snorkeling and under a shorty wetsuit for scuba. On the surface the wetsuit is turned down at the waist, exposing the upper half of the body to the sun. But with this on I received NO sunburn!I got an XL because I didn’t want it skin tight. It’s sorta sloppy big on me.

These swim shirts are great for the pool or beach. Comfortable to wear and absolutely critical for sun protection. At the beach on a super hot day, my arm in the sun stayed comfortable with the rest of me under the too-small umbrella. I bought a second one!

Sunburn protection without worry
Easy to throw this on for a trip to the pool or beach. Dries quickly and not too hot for normal wear. At worst you just wet it down to cool off. Better than carrying sunblock for a longer beach walk.

Love this shirt!
I bought this shirt for my husband for our trip to Hawaii over Christmas. They totally protected his skin from the sun. We live in Utah and we haven’t seen the sun in months.No sunburns, no rashes, and it stayed really clean. No dirt or looking dingy from the sun and salt.I also love the color. It was so nice to sit on the beach and pick him out on the crowded beach or in the water and find him immediately.

Not sure I could call this a swim shirt
This shirt is the same material as most sun shirts but has an odd fit. It is looser in areas you wouldn’t expect especially if this is something you are going to swim in.

Get what you pay for
This shirt did its job, I suppose. It allowed me to protect my water from the skin. Unfortunately, it did not do a great job of keeping me warm and kept riding up my arms whenever I caught waves body or boogie boarding!

Ideal Summer Shirt
After opening the package I didn’t expect to be as impressed with this shirt as I am but after a few days’ wearing it, there I am. It’s pure polyester but one that lacks the annoying stretch that many garments of this material have. This means it looks good on you rather than sagging all about as so many do making it look as if I were an 8-year old wearing my dad’s shirt.The fit is a bit large for its marked size but completely appropriate to permit easy donning if you’re wet. To test its performance, I used it on two hikes in mid 80s temperature with mid 60s humidity all in full sun. As expected, I sweated a good deal since the courses were all on hills. The shirt kept me cooler than expected and drew the sweat away from my body so I never had that clammy shirt cling that other shirts, especially cotton ones, exhibit. When I got lucky and caught a light breeze, the shirt cooled me nicely via evaporation.The Speedo checks all the boxes. It looks terrific, is sized perfectly for its intended use and performs perfectly even though I repurposed it from a swim top to an around the farm and hiking shirt. The description says short-sleeves but the sample received here is, I’m happy to report, long-sleeved. I find it absurd that a shirt promoted as sun-blocking would have short sleeves. I’m sold on this as not only a swim shirt but a general-purpose summer one.
