Favorite utensil
Ok I understand it is a little expensive but totally worth it. It is well made and perfect for any use except if you are flipping pancakes lol. No really it is great for any use. It is not cheap hard plastic like most other non metal ones. It is supple but sturdy. I will buy more of their utensils if I catch them on sale.

A must-have kitchen utensil
This thing is kind of perfect for anything involving a large cooking pot or bowl. You can get every last bit of food out. It scoops better than a ladle or large spoon and is solid. Absolutely recommend!

No scratches to porcelain or finishes
I use this with my Dutch Ovens and also for a few Teflon pans that I still have, it’s wonderful. You don’t have to worry about scratching the porcelain or the Teflon off (which I read is cancer causing). It’s nice and strong & heavy duty. It fits my hand perfectly. It was much better quality than I imagined, in fact I’m buying one for my friends for their birthdays and/or Christmas.

How did I miss this shape
I used this when I visited a friend, and had to buy it. It’s a great shape for scooping, stirring, and is sturdy enough to stand up to a good thick chili or brunswick stew. Easy to clean, and the handle is a comfortable shape for my hands.

Not the easiest to clean, but who cares??
This is the spoon that got me hooked on STAUB’s line of kitchen tools. I bought it to replace an old Williams Sonoma spoon and it was so awesome that, over the past 6 months, I’ve bought a half dozen more of the STAUB tools. The quality of WS tools had gone downhill, but STAUB’s is better than theirs ever was. This spoon must have a metal insert because it’s stiff, while still having the softness of silicone, so it can be used to break/cut up chunks of meat in a skillet, scramble eggs, or scoop rice or pasta (not noodles or pasta that holds a lot of excess water, but, say, Campanelle, Orecchiette, or Farfalle). I also love the turner, the ladle, and the skimming ladle. I don’t think I’ll buy the rice spoon as this one works just fine.

Just what I needed
It has proven to be a great design for my intended use. I prepare some dishes in pans that is very difficult to scoop up enough of it with a shallow spoon or deep one as well. This one seems to be more adequate for my taste. I recommend it as it seems very well made and sturdy.

Weird, but I like it

My favorite spatula spoon!
I always reach for this utensil no matter what I am cooking! It works so well and cleans up great! I would probably cry if it ever broke but I bought it over a year ago and use it every day and it still looks new! Get it! It won’t disappoint!

Great cooking utensil
This spoon/spatula works very well for me. I use it daily. It’s good for stir frying and safe to use on my pans. I bought a spoon that matches. I love the wood handles and hand wash because i have them hanging in my kitchen. Quality shows.

A brilliant multitasker
This thing is great for scooping and scraping. It won’t mar delicate interior finishes like tin or Teflon. Yet it’s sturdy enough to scrape up fond or serve stew right from the dutch oven (Staub, of course). A brilliant bit of kit.

You will not want to cook without this!
I am very picky about cooking gadgets but this is a real winner. It has become my go to for cooking whether in a sauté pan or kettle. Plan to purchase one for each of my 3 daughters for Christmas. Handle rather bulky
Nice looking piece. Based on recommendation from a cooking site, I purchased one each for myself and my daughter. The wooden handle is thick, for me it’s a bit awkward to handle. It’s hand wash only, not a huge deal, but have to be diligent it doesn’t get put into dishwasher.

Short handle but my favorite cooking utensil!
It does have a short handle but I absolutely love this utensil. It is by far my favorite cooking utensil now. It’s a spatula, it scoops, scrapes. Does everything except what a ladle would do.

A really great tool
The media could not be loaded.
I really like cooking with this spoon- it feels well thought out. It’s pretty stiff- no problem breaking up ground meats or even scraping the bottom of a pan. Buts it’s got just enough flexibility to easily scrape down the sides of a pan. The wooden handle embossed with the “staub” name gives it a premium feel. I got this a couple months ago and it has become my go to cooking utensil.

Spoon/spatula

If a wooden spoon & silicone spatula had a baby
This is a great hybrid between a stiff wooden spoon and high-heat silicone spatula. It’s stiff enough to chop up ground meat/veggies and flexible enough on the edges to scrape the sides of the pan or bowl. Seems very well made.

My Favorite Utensil
I ordered this spoon due to the generous size and shape, and it has turned into one of my favorite kitchen utensils. I especially love using it to mix batters, and meld in berries. It is very stiff, no bend when mixing, so does a great job. It can’t go in the dishwasher, which may be a detriment for some, but I have had no problem giving it a quick wash off in the sink. I’ve been enjoying it so much that I am thinking about gifting these to some friends!

This is a terrific cooking spoon at the right price.
SIX StarsI paid just under fifteen dollars. But it’s also available on the same page at $55. At $15 it’s a great spoon/spatula. I cannot imagine how it can be listed at $55 on the very same page. That’s a ridiculous price even allowing for Staub’s sometimes high prices. There’s nothing here that can justify a $55 price tag.We’ve used it maybe a half dozen time now. Excellent tool.Bought a few as holiday gifts we like it so much. People, serious cooks all, would come into my kitchen while I was using it and were impressed. “Where did you find that great cooking spatula?”

SMELLS
Would have been a perfect utensil with great functional design, balance, durability, and insulation, if it were not for the SMELL.This silicon, unlike other silicon spoons I have, strongly absorbs the smell of the food, and is impossible to get off after washing no matter how you wash or soak it. Moreover, the spoon itself has a smell like burnt rubber, and this smell does not dissipate after washing or soaking either.

Defective
After seeing a post on Instagram and reading great reviews I ordered this. I liked using it but after washing it after the vey first use the useful end is falling apart, rubber is all jagged, it was not left on heat. Feel like I received a defective item. Disappointed in the quality.
