Ultra-bee is ultra-cool.
This was a gift for a 6 year old boy and let me tell you he absolutely loves this set. The individual figures are simplified transformers, but when combined into Ultrabee, it really is a solid feeling, well made toy. I think I love it as much as he does!

Absolutely Meh
Where’s DRIFT….oh yeah he is a non transformable sword. 6 year old son likes it. Arms clip into place so easily removed. Think of square peg, going into two sided clamp. Some of the individual transformations are a joke. Flip out 2 things and supposedly it is too look like a robot. Ultra bee transformation is decent…somewhat looks like the cartoon. As expected barely any articulation in Ultra Bee mode. Non existent articulation in individual robot mode.It is durable enough that it has taken a few bumps and drops. But I feel it is not sturdy for abusive play. While not a durability issue, since the arms come off so easily, when playing with it, arms can come off if you have Ultra Bee pretend punch another figure.

On point, minus Grimlock (legs).
Together these work well. The arm guys are basic by themselves but still cool. Bumblebee is great, but Grimlock is awful as the dinosaur. We either cannot do it (directions don’t help) and we can’t bend it properly as a YouTube video showed us. Grimlock is back heavy, the sword doesn’t stay in place, and his feet come off very easily. 5 stars for the other 4 characters and then together as a whole, but 2 stars for Grimlock.

Misleading Packaging
This was for a birthday gift and the photos shown in the listing had it in its original packaging. What we received was not. All items loose in non original packaging. Appears in good shape, just not how it was advertised. Also no instructions on how to transform or combine. Overall not thrilled and wish I had the option to exchange for one in original packaging. In my opinion Not “giftable” presentation.

Great toy for a 7-years boy
My 7-years old kid has been pushing me to buy him this Transformer for couple of months. And he was really happy to get the box and start to play. It looks like this toy is a good choice as it has several different transformers inside and the kid can combine and change as he wants. So, we bought one toy but the kid received several robots and he is playing with it by hours.

Very poor quality
Very very disappointed in this product. Gift for my 6 year old grandson for Easter and it came apart first day and not where it is supposed to come apart. He waited so long to get this gift and has talked about it for months. I would actually send back but past 30 days and husband threw out box after opening. You can put pieces back on but immediately pop off again and again. They are not broken just don’t seem to fit tightly enough. Also the connections where sidecars fit for arms are very loose and they ‘fall off’ as well. It is more like a dollar store item. Not sure if we received a defective one or all like this. Would not buy again for the price I paid. Grandson so disappointed, I feel like I need to buy him something else. A Very Sad Grammy.

Cool Toy, Broken on Day 2
I don’t even know if this review is even worth it but here goes. Overall cool toy. However, a tiny piece of Bumblebee’s shoulder broke off on day 2. In the grand scheme of things, I get it. Toys break. But this was literally the second day of my son playing with it and he’s just so depressingly dejected now. The piece that broke off is the clasp that keeps “Ultrabee’s” right arm on in his giant bot form. Without it, his blue-guy arm just falls to his knees. You can’t sword fight like that. I tried to fix it with plastic-specific super glue but it only held a few days.I’ll be sending it back for replacement but it just hasn’t been a very fun experience for my little dude who worked so hard to earn this toy. Again, it was a pretty awesome toy that first day but just an unfortunate defect. I’ll update my review if the replacement process is note worthy.Update: Amazon no longer has this item in stock (arrived 9 days ago) so they will refund my money but now I need to replace it from a third party at twice the price. And that just dropped this review to 1 star.

Breaks easily!
My 5 year old son loves this toy, it is the perfect addition to his transformer collection, but this toy is very brittle and breaks easy. Not two weeks, the wheels keep falling off, plastic has broken on Strongarms head, Grimlocks foot falls off constantly and now the plastic to hold it on has snapped. Very pitifully made. Would definitely like a replacement! My son does not damage or play rough with his toys and he is very heartbroken over this one continuously having issues

Easily breaks
My 7 year old and 4 year old boys love their transformer toys. They both really love this one too. However pieces started breaking off it immediately without much effort. Namely parts of Grimlocks feet, the other two transformers thumbs and bumblebees body doesn’t stay together well enough to support the weight of his arm transformers. My kids have had several other transformers that hold up very well for them over the many years. I expected more from this toy.

Dollar Store Toy at Department Store Prices
I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but I have to, here. The manufacturer is absolutely practicing unethical business practices. I bought this for my son for Christmas because he really wanted this set. Of course it was one of the first things he opened and I was just hoping that the negative reviews I had seen were just one-offs. Even the best manufacturers make an occasional defect. This seems to be intentional, though. The manufacturer made a poor quality product, knowing full well that it wasn’t designed to withstand repeated and continuous use. They then sold it at a price point that is comparable to toys that are built for continuous use. The plastic is very cheap feeling. My son has only been playing with it for less than two hours and it is evident that some of the plastic is about to give way and break. The joints connecting some of the flaps on Bumblebee are really weak and keep popping out. While this is merely annoying right now, it’s clear that they will wear out before long and not go back together. This product is more in line with a cheap party favor that you’d pay $5 or $10 for to entertain kids for a couple of hours. It’s not meant to be a $30+ present that a kid would be expected to get months or years of enjoyment out of. Bottom line: I should have listened to my gut when reading the negative reviews.

Hard to transform, a bit brittle, but my kiddo loves it
Like many of the other reviews have said, the material on this is a bit brittle and breaks easily. It’s also hard to transform (especially the first few times until some of the joints loosen up) which means that kids may try to force pieces and they will break even faster. Sometimes parts pop off and can be popped back on, but in a couple places the plastic already looks like it’s going to snap in two. The arm transformers are super lame when they transform to individual robots (legs are just one solid chunk of plastic so they can’t “walk”). The dinosaur’s front is cool, but the tail/back doesn’t transform at all so it’s a bit awkward. But my kiddo is over the moon about having it & loves that all 4 robots can go together to form 1 giant one. I’m just not looking forward to the melt down with the first piece that breaks off and can’t be repaired.

The material is not strong, is cheap looking, for me it is a little overpriced, parts fall easily, so we’re missing parts from grimlock (1 side of the head and an arm) parts from bumblebee, etc… Buuuuut… mi kid loves it, its easy to transform, so he plays all day converting them into cars, into robots and then combined to form 1 robot. So for his age is perfect. He is 4 and he doesn’t care if parts fall easily or how cheap does the materials look.

Great toy for my 5-year old
Despute the age recommendations on toys, this particular toy became my son’s (5) favorite. Other Transformers are too intricate and easily broken for his age. Others that are made for his age group are too basic and don’t transform much, if at all. But this one is just simple enough that it doesn’t frustrate it and it’s five pieces keep him interested in it. He takes it everywhere! I wouldn’t advise getting it wet because the Autobot seal will fall off (nothing glue couldn’t repair). In the end, we ordered two other combiner packs but this model is the best one.

Not worth the money!
My grandson loves it but it won’t stay together. Pieces break off very easily, like small pieces of Bumble Bee broke off in transforming into a vehicle. We were trying to be gentle, but it took a little force to make the legs transform. He got it on 01/06/2022 and only plays with vehicle form and scanning to play the game. He can’t play anymore until he get enough gems or diamonds and can only get gems by scanning the toy once a day. He will be able to play after scanning today 1/7 & 1/8 unable to play. I am very disappointed. I only have 3 stars, because he does like it. When he unwrapped it, he was so excited, but now, not so excited. Five & Dime store quality with a very inflated price tag.

Worth the minor issues the toy has.
This was the number one toy my 6yr old wanted for Xmas. He had been talking about it for months after seeing it on YouTube. I got the reaction all parents want, a happy freakout 😀.That said, a couple pieces can fall off when transforming, but they click back on. It also took a couple weeks for him to figure out how to not have them come off, and a couple days before he didn’t need help connecting some of them together when forming UltraBee.Also when turning Grimlocke into a dinosaur you have to wiggle each side of his head to get it come together completely. These minor issues never bothered him though.

This was a last minute birthday gift for my son. He has always requested Transformer toys. Unfortunately the brand can be quite expensive, and the movies being release just add to my son wanting the toys. I was so please I was able to find something and it could be deliver so quickly. Neat idea…leaves much to be desired
This is a cool idea. We’ve always liked that there are many transformers that you can combine into one mega transformer. This one was kind of neat because it was based on the newer series that my kids are fans of. However, in this case you really do get what you pay for.The individual transformers themselves are pretty light weight plastic and feel cheap. The two cars that make up the arms are very simple to transform and are meh. Bumblebee and Grimlock are more complex to transform but still look meh. None of them are great but I’d say Grimlock as a robot has the best/most accurate look from the show. Both Bumblebee and Grimlock have issue – Bumblebee has an issue with the hood of the car staying together in car mode and won’t stay together. Grimlock has less of an issue, but it is still bothersome where the head in dinosaur mode likes to separate. The quality just doesn’t seem there. Then there is the combiner mode. The body and legs stay together fine. The arms however constantly want to fall off because they are only connected by a little pinching plastic part on one transformer to a plastic tab on another (the body and legs are the same but don’t have similar movement so they are held together adequately). This the arms fall off constantly. It is rather annoying. Then the overall look is just ok because the legs/feet look strange.None of the modes seem all that durable, and while it sometimes looks okay, I’d go with something else. It just isn’t worth the constant hassle. Once combined it looks kind of neat but the pieces are just, ugh. If you were going to put it together and not have kids play with it at all, then it might be for you. It might seem even seem like a good value, but I’d recommend spending a little more and getting some of the better transformers that combine together and will be good for years and look awesome (luckily we have some of those).

Poor Quality and Disappointing
My son saved up his own money to order this product. He was SO excited to get it, but then pieces were falling off less than 5 minutes after opening it up. They pop back on, but he’s getting frustrated by it and I’m really tired of fixing it (it’s been at least 20 times in the past 2 hours) and one place where parts snap together is looking like it might crack. He is playing with it appropriately, not roughly, and it’s still happening repeatedly. If it were up to me I would return the thing in a heartbeat, but of course my son loves it and won’t let me. I don’t recommend this product, especially for $24…

Hard to transform
I bought this for my son’s 5th birthday. This was the only large transformer made of other transformers I could find. He liked it when he opened it and begged to take it out of the package immediately. The toy comes with instructions on how to transform each car and how to make the big robot. I can usually figure stuff out, I found the instructions very unclear and could only transform 2 of the cars. I’m going to have to find some YouTube videos or something. A month and a half later, this is a forgotten toy at the bottom of his bin of cars. Disappointing.
