Great deal for the price
I purchased this one to upgrade an older one that wasn’t working anymore. I love that the feet are thin and you can maneuver it around furniture better. The light works great and the remote makes life so much easier. It’s great for recording videos for social media or just for the family.It was worth the cost and holds up pretty well because it’s taken it’s fair share of abuse since purchasing and it still works.

Decent Tripod But Light Functionality can shut off Tripod is Lightweight / Top Heavy
I recently needed a tripod and iPhone stand for filming timelapses for art (i.e Tik Tok or Instagram). Overall this is a decent product.Tripod / BagThe tripod itself has good height and is adjustable as most tripods are, but my only criticism would be that it needs a bit of weight, especially if you’ve got the ring light mount pointed down (i.e. at a table). It becomes top heavy and for most tripods there’s extra legs on the tripod ends so you can weight them down with sandbags. Tripod bag is good, and overall the tripod is what it says it is, but just keep in mind if you have a larger phone or are trying to point your camera down, the light weightless of the tripod may come into issue.Light Feature:Light feature is attached to the mount and has several settings – brighter and dimmer, as well as 2-3 light options. This works great; however, the first one I bought would “overheat” and shut off any where between 3 mins to 30 minutes. I contacted customer service who quickly figured it was defective and sent me a new one. *One reviewer to my question said it overheated, which if that is the case, seems problematic as the features above show some 1) gaming live 2) Taking a photoshoot.If the light can’t be left on for longer that 20 minutes or 30 minutes, I don’t see how someone would live game streaming with this contraption.Not a bad product for the price, just 2 things I thought I’d mention to folks who are buying this.

Overall great selfie ring-Updated 1/22/20
Great lighting. This selfie ring has three different light settings a warm, cool and bright! In each one you are able to dim or lighten the light. It was very easy to assemble and I use it with my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I will say the thing that disappoints me is that you are not able to charge the light so it Hass to be plugged in USB to use it also on the remote it is simply to take a picture you are not able to adjust lighting with the remote that comes with it other than those things great light maybe I’ll find another one that will do those functions that this one does not have.I will say the thing that disappoints me is that you are not able to charge the light so it has to be plugged in USB to use it also on the remote control, it is simply to take a picture. you are not able to adjust lighting with the remote that comes with it. This is a bit frustrating but doesnt affect the lighting performance! I can only hope that the light itself will continue to work. I am actually planning to purchase another one but not again from this company or this brand due to the power issue I am now having.

Works great! (when it works)
I searched for hours for a ring light that was tall enough for someone who is 5’8″ and had the phone mount in a place that made sense. A lot of them were down really low and would only look flattering if you were sitting and I really want to use my ring light while standing. Although for me this would be ideal if it was 2 inches taller it works well enough for my needs. Having different light brightness and warm/cool options was really important to me. This has lovely options and the controls were easy to useI have two disappointments.1. I do wish the cable was longer because depending on how you have this set up you may need to move to the control to adjust the light and then move back which is a bit of an irritation2. I must have missed it in the lower star reviews but mine stopped working after about 4 uses. Just wouldn’t turn on at all. I ended up contacting amazon where they tried to assist me in troubleshooting (which was a ridiculous process) and eventually they too decided it was broken. I ended up contacting the seller and within a couple of hours I had an email from them asking for my address and that they would be sending a replacement. I’m currently waiting for my replacement and I am crossing my fingers that this one works for a longer time.So long story short works great when it is operational, seller customer service was quick and easy but still one star off for the fact that it broke in the first place.

I LOVE My New 10″ Selfie Ring Light with Tripod, et al!
To improve the lighting in my videos, I needed a light ring; a way to hold my cell phone in the light ring; various levels of light to choose the one that works best for my use on any given day; a tripod to hold the whole thing up, to use with my DSLR camera, and that had adjustable height; a remote to access the camera on my phone so I can snap pics from a few feet away; a way for the camera and ring to be set in different positions by tilting or swiveling (as an example, I need a 90 degree angle downward to take pics of food I make); and storage bags for the ring and tripod. Well, this product had all those things! The description that YYBS posted for this item was exactly as I found the product to be and operate.I read a gazillion reviews about this product and people were saying how it was broken, how it didn’t do this or that, they couldn’t assemble it, and so on. I had absolutely no issue setting it up. I took my time. I didn’t twist, bang, overtighten, force push, etc. any of the parts. Everything worked as it was supposed to and it was sturdy enough to hold everything it was supposed to (my DLSR camera without the ring, my cell phone in the ring, etc.). I wouldn’t use it in a gale-force wind because it is lightweight but it works perfectly for what I needed it for and I love the lighting options: 3 light colors with 11 levels of brightness for each light color. That’s 33 choices!I was surprised at how well the product worked for a $46 price point! If I buy a product, I do expect it to work as advertised and it did for me.

A lot of bang for the buck!
This is a great little system and the first ring light I have used. I am in the process of recording some videos for a non-profit I work with. I thought I would try an inexpensive setup to see what features I did and did not like or use. Turns out this unit is all I will need! The remote paired easily with my Mac equipment/iPhone, and the light quality in the videos I took was great. The tripod is not heavy and has lots of adjustable features including heights and angles which I used to take the reflection off my glasses. The light is also cool or warm with multiple intensity settings. If you were using it outside in the wind you might want to weight it or strap it down. Love this little setup.

Excellent for Telecommunication and Distance Learning
Due to this global pandemic, like many, I need to work from home, and I’ve found that the lighting in my home — though pleasing for normal life — is definitely not conducive for telecommunication and distance learning. Prior to using this tripod & ring light setup, I was either seemingly in the dark, or washed out from excessive light. Basically, I had a pretty lousy set up. So, I needed to rearrange my home (with the sheer number of meetings and classes I needed to attend/run weekly, logistically, that was really NOT what I wanted to do), OR I needed to purchase a lighting set up.This has been the perfect solution. I can stay in my office, and still have excellent lighting for faculty, department, and team meetings, classes, and conferences. And, now, I look like I actually know what I’m doing. The set up was a snap. My first time set up literally took me less than two minutes straight out of the box (including reading the directions), and it allows me to either use my cell phone (should I want to go mobile), or my laptop, and of course, it’d work with a camera, or camcorder as well, though that’s not what I bought it for. I appreciate that it has a handy remote, and the adjustable tripod is great. The whole setup is lightweight, but surprisingly well-made and sturdy, and it works beautifully. Frankly, it’s nice to be able to just focus on my work, and not have to feel like I need to hassle with the technology. It sets up in seconds, and I’m good to go. The price is very reasonable as well, which is a plus on a teacher’s salary I only wish I bought it earlier. It’s worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Good enough for the casual social media creator.
Lighting is extremely important for photography and video, and if you are creating social media content this is a very convenient tool as it works as an LED lamp, a cel phone stand/tripod which extends to an insane 50 inches, and also includes a remote control for your phone camera. Super useful.This product in particular sits right in between feeling quiet sturdy and being affordable enough. It doesnt feel super cheap but it also does feel like it could break if not handled carefully.The actual ring light I must say is very bright and you can do a lot with it, but its not necessarily a studio level kind of brightness. It has a USB cable for power, which is pretty cool because even a USB Power Bank will be enough to power it, or you can find an adapter (not included) and plug it in the wall. Any old cel phone charger adapter should work. The cable also has buttons to change brightness and light color from 3 options. I do appreciate that you can switch between white light and a warmer tone, can surely set a different vibe for your photos and videos.The tripod is probably my favorite part, it can be placed on a table when retracted but if you fully extend the legs to the longest possible it can stand tall on the floor. You can definitelly play with different heights and see what works best for what you are doing.In conclusion this is a great product for casual creators but it is probably not the best option for more serious ones.

Lightweight and versatile economical choice
This is a really good, economical choice for a versatile ring light for selfies and phone videos. The stand is easy to manipulate (love the clips rather than having to turn knobs to extend/retract the legs). Good flexible options for the camera holders, including the ability to use as a tripod/phone holder with the extra camera clip without the light for outdoor shots. I like the fact that there are 3 temperatures available for the light. Although there are 10 brightness levels for each color, there is no easy way to know which level you are using, so if you are trying to reproduce lighting conditions for shots over time, recording your settings isn’t practical. I reverted to the brightest, so I won’t have to figure that part out!The only other drawback that I see is that the unit comes with minimal written instructions and does not indicate that the video in the description on Amazon is the most comprehensive set of “instructions” available. I didn’t notice the video until just now when I went back to review the product! It did answer a lot of minor questions (like the role of the extra phone clip), and would have saved me some time and effort figuring things out had I watched it at the time of unpacking.Overall I would definitely recommend this product for the amateur who wants to enhance their selfie still and video shots.

UPDATE TO REVIEW: Lights no longer work after less than 3 months
Extremely happy with this product and the vendor who sells this product. Its easy to set up and use – you don’t have to be a social media influencer or in to taking selfies with this “selfie ring light” to benefit from this product, particularly during a time when we are all forced to telework and/or connect virtually. I like that this light has three different light filters that range from soft lighting to extremely bright, which makes it the perfect lighting for every occasion ranging from virtual conference calls to virtual happy hours. Also, the stand that comes with the ring light is super easy to set up and has adjustable height options. Additionally, there’s an attachable smart phone holder that can be placed in the center of the ring light, which gives you the option of using that feature to hold your smart phone in place. Alternatively, you can just use it as a light while using another device. I decided to update my initial review because although I was very happy with this product when I first received it, for some reason the ring light just stopped working after less than 3 months of using it. Can’t explain it. Worked perfectly fine for the first several weeks and then one day the light simply stopped working. May have been a factory defect. I immediately contacted the seller and after a few of days they sent me a replacement ring light – no questions asked and there was no requirement to return the defected ring light. Since I’ve received the replacement ring light it has been working perfectly. I currently telework and I am in meetings all day long – this light provides the perfect amount of lighting with flattering filtering options, which I can appreciate after being in meetings all day long. I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs “good lighting” particularly while operating in a virtual environment.

I have had this device for almost 4 years, it is working perfectly fine, the only issue is the cord is starting to short out but thats fine it lasted me a while so i am satisfied. it is hella bright, the phone stand is sturdy. It comes with a remote so you can use it to take your photos also so if you’re a take your own pics gurlie so this is good. It can extend and retract to be smaller depending on your space and all in all… This is a nice starter ring light ! It’s beautiful i say get it .

I like it but it has some flaws.
11/30/2023For the price, the light does its job but the button does not work properly. It controls the up setting for the volume but it doesn’t allow me to start the camera and it doesn’t even let me turn the volume down. Also, the light is bright but i feel like it could be a bit brighter. Something I would like to add is that I really like the mechanical aspect of the tripod. The adjustments are easy to use and the tripod itself is sturdy. Lastly, the height is about two feet so it doesn’t extend far enough for you to put it on the ground and use it as a tripod for videos where you would like to stand while making. With all this being said, I haven’t used it yet but these are my initial impressions from unboxing it. I will add more information once i have had a chance to use it!

Had issues that were quickly fixed
Things I liked:1. Nice lighting2. Easy to use clicker3. Easy to adjust4. Easy storage5. Easy to collapseThings I dislike:1. Would like for the lighting modes to be changed using the clicker instead of on the wire. I have to get up and change it and retake pictures until I find the light that looks best.2. The part that holds the phone is extremely tight and hard to release my phone without pinching my fingers.3. The knobs to adjust above the legs aren’t very trust worthy.4. Doesn’t comes with a power bank. Make sure you buy one that is 5V or more.5. Can’t really get any picture at an angle because of the flimsy structure.I had the light for a month before it shorted out and completely quit working. At first, it would turn on for 2 seconds then shut off. Then it wouldn’t turn on at all, no matter what power source I used. Before writing a bad review, I emailed the company and asked for a replacement. They made me jump through hoops to get it, but they finally sent me a replacement ring with quick shipping.

PERFECT tripod with LED ring light, wireless remote and easy to pack & carry!
I have wanted a tripod with a ring light, USB adapter, wireless remote function & easy to carry to locations. I finally found the perfect inexpensive one. I found it hard to narrow down the extensive lists & didn’t find the feedback I needed. ( Hope this helps).I purchased this for under $20 and I believe the price point is accurate. I have attached as many pics as possible showing:1) individual items2) product set up3) pics showing the ring light at it’s highest & lowest ( I took these outside on a rainy day for referenceAs someone who needs a backup for photo projects & streaming contact, this is the perfect weight! No more back aches from lugging a huge bulky tripod. The tripod is VERY sturdy & has a built in level! Easy to adjust and manipulate angels. I love that it has a USB adapter as I can plug it in the car as well. I was happily surprised it has a nice range of lighting. The holder is great for a phone, but I’m not sure I would reccomend a tablet, unless you purchased a different adapter. I will say, the only thing is the ring light is plastic, but again at this price point I don’t mind & I do wish it was complete wireless, but that is best served for my main lighting .***Perfect for beginners, great gift for social media platforms users, make up etc ! Bravo for an inexpensive quality piece.

Works for my needs
I primarily bought this product for Zoom videos. For my set up I have a 43 inch white reflector used for photography behind my computer screen with two LED lights shining on it to create forward facing light. This ring light served as the second light, with an LED desk lamp serving as the first. I bought this ring with the idea that I may be able to use it for other lighting purposes in the future as well.It works. Mounted on the tripod at its lowest height it sits a little over two feet off the desk. It has three color settings–a warmer “yellower” tone, a colder “bluer” tone and a mix of the two. This allows me to adjust the settings as the as daylight changes in my office for a more accurate color balance. There are several brightness settings, but I use it mostly at full power because I am using reflected light.It came with an adaptor to plug the USB wire into an AC socket which is a bonus (this was not clear to me when purchased). I have not tried to use the remote, and doubt that I ever will. I also have not used the cell phone mount, although it looks like it would serve its intended purpose.I docked it one star because the tri-pod and light itself do not seem to be very robust. The connections and parts are mostly plastic, and the legs, at their widest, are about 3/4″ in diameter. This works fine for how I use it sitting on a desk, but it may be a bit delicate and unstable used at its full 50″ height.

Does the job
The build quality isn’t the best and the included clip that supposed to hold your device is useless because it’s completely square so the devices that I have tried just slip right off. I had to fabricate something to make it work for me– which is definitely worth a one-star reduction because I should not have to use my own parts to make a product work the way they claim that it was designed.The ring light itself feels cheap and it feels like it will fall apart rather easily if I ever tried transporting it like in a portable kit or something. So I’m just going to use it in my home studio and try not to touch it. I’m not willing to risk breaking it just to test the theory. I’m just using common sense.I’ve also found that I need to enable a 60 hertz filter in my recording app otherwise I get a bit of flicker from this light. Yes I know that is common with many LED lights but better quality LEDs don’t seem to have this bad of a problem. That being said, I guess that’s why they have those filters in the first place, right?In conclusion, I’m being generous with four stars but I don’t think it deserves three either, more like 3.5 but since I don’t have that option, I just rounded up.

As a novice photographer, I wanted a ring light and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it since I’m fairly new to this. Luckily, I came across this company. I got both a great price and a quality product. The light has 3 different tones, all of which have 10 (I think) levels of brightness. All of the tones and brightness levels are beautiful, crisp and greatly improve photos and videos.The tripod is sturdy and lightweight. I needed a lightweight tripod for the light because my camera tripod and other camera accessories weigh me down enough. The tripod has a built-in level, and I think that is a nice added feature. I had no idea that it was on the tripod until I took it out of the box, so it was a pleasant surprise.The phone clip is very study and holds my phone perfectly. There is another phone clip included just in case your phone doesn’t fit in the standard one, and I appreciate the fact that it is included because it’s one less thing one has to buy if needed.The cord is a good length. The controls on the cord allow you to turn the light on/off and change the tone/intensity (brightness). I have to say that I do wish that the +/- buttons were next to one another instead of the button to switch the tone being in the middle of them. I’ll get used to it, though!It comes with a nice carrying case for both the ring light and the tripod.

This WAS the BEST ring light I’ve had or seen YET!!

This product was one of my favorite purchases yet!! Incredible lighting, substantial differences in light colors as well as brightness levels. Packing was great, best part is the 2 storage bags for each part, 1 for the ring light & 1 for the tripod. Assembly was super easy even though while reading through the reviews before purchasing, many had stated how difficult assembly was and pieces were missing etc. that was not a problem at all for me!! Easy Peasy! However, this item did not last me even 1 year yet 😞 up til last week, I hadn’t been using the light in about a month or so. So when I went to use it last , I did everything as usual as far as storing and assembling, as soon as i put my iPhone on the stand, I turned around & heard a bang, looked down and the ring light, my phone & stand, we’re all on the floor. It had snapped right down the middle. The ring itself and light still works, so Being the DIYer that I am, I attempted fixing with duct tape, as I REALLY needed to be using this… well that didn’t last long and now I’m out a tripod and I have a ring light that is useless. Super bummed that it didn’t last. It was taken very good care of, yet still snapped in the worst place, an unfixable spot, right above and below one of the turners that tightens the screw that holds the ring light and phone. 😞😞

Stay away from this
At first, this product worked great. The ring light was good, the tripod was good…but over the years (and I’ve had this for 3 years now) it has been falling apart. if you ever wondered if planned obsolescence was a thing, this produce is proof positive that it is. Here’s why: First, the light started shorting out and would stop working in the middle of filming. Next, the ring light and phone holder kept falling off. The piece that attaches the ring light to the base keeps falling off because the attachment is super shallow, so the weight of both the phone and the light are too much for the attachment to hold. The base of the tripod also started popping out of the plastic clasp. It’s overall a very poorly made product (from China, is my guess). Keep looking!

Perfect for photography and video conferencing and/or performances!
First let me say that I was very hesitant to invest in a selfie ring, however the room we videoconference in for work, is very dark. It is a space in our laundry room that we have turned into an office. There are no windows. We have an overhead light and I purchased a chandelier for the room, but I needed direct lighting for the face. And something that wasn’t harsh or that would distract during use.Since I dabble in photography, and I also needed a tripod, I thought I could hang the ring on the wall and then use the tripod for photography… and then also utilize them both for photo sessions or for special online video music performances for my daughter (who plays an instrument and has online performances. This worked so well!!!I opted to purchase this model, over the newer model (even though the newer model was less expensive,) was because of the USB capabilities. If I am in the field shooting photos, or outside doing a conference call on a cloudy day, or when it is evening, I can utilize a power bank for power. The A/C plug would not allow me to take outside unless I had a power supply specifically for that. The USB, therefore, makes this much more portable.The only thing I wish would be improved, would be if the light, when unplugged or turned off, would have a memory for the light setting you last used. Otherwise, this was such a great buy!I will need to take some photos to add to this review. But overall, I am very happy with this purchase!

Such great and easy features
This picture is me using the remote after only 5 minutes of set up. This product is so perfect and has such great features. I love that you can adjust the height of the tripod. There’s a level so you can see if the tripod is crooked! You can adjust so your phone points down or up a little, and your phone fits vertically or horizontally. The ring light has 3 different tone settings, and each of them is adjustable to how strong you want the light to be. The remote is so easy to set up, all you do is connect Bluetooth and it works like an absolute charm. I’m so excited to use this, and it’s already come in handy to help my roommate take level photos for her wedding dress measurements. High recommend this product so far!

This light worked awesome for a quick family Christmas picture with the pets. There are 3 things i dont love about it but i like it enough to keep it. 1) It would be nice if you could charge the light and not have to have it plugged in to use. 2) the remote doesnt have a spot in the bag or on the stand unless i add a clip key chain to it. 3) the bag is only for the stand not the light.

Bright light
Got it for the wife to record her music videos. Created clear and bright scene for her recordings. The different light settings make a huge difference in video ambience. The fact that it comes with a phone holder is a big plus eliminating the need for an additional tripod. We’ve had it for about three years and still works. Good buy.

Great for zoom classes if you have poor lighting in your house
This has been really useful for me, as someone who is mainly using it to get good lighting for my online classes. I really appreciate that it has a holder for your phone, so I’ve been able to use it as a tripod for when I do video calls with my friends instead of having to hold my phone up. The main downside is that you have to plug it into your computer, so you have to move both of them if you want to set up in a different area. But all in all, I’d say it’s a great purchase for the price point, especially because it has so many different lighting settings. One drawback is that I don’t think it’s built for extended long term use. This item is definitely not designed to be able to change out the bulb easily, if at all. But it gets the job done for now. Mine did arrive with the part of the part of the cell phone holder that attaches it to the stand stuck shut, so I couldn’t actually attach it, but a pair of pliers was able to get it unstuck after a bit of finagling.

Meh
This arrived in the time frame expected. I immediately noticed that the packaging had been opened before. Some items were not wrapped in plastic and seem to have just been jammed into the cardboard inserts. Nonetheless, I decided to at least set it up to see if I should reorder or select a different product. I excitedly set it up and then realized that it was USB only – I can’t plug it into an outlet. Maybe this is standard for this type of product, but I don’t have any ports left on my workstation that can handle the power draw of this light (the USB ports in my desk and the side of the monitors did not work.) So basically, the only port powerful enough for this light is the same one I have the webcam plugged into, meaning I have yet to be able to try this product out. (I was able to get the light to come on once I swapped it out for the webcam, but whether it provides the lighting I need for the webcam is an unknown, for obviously reasons!)My plan was to return it, but alas, hubby got to the packaging before I did, so he threw it out. So I’m stuck with something that MIGHT work, but I’ll never know unless I figure out how to reconfigure all of my office equipment to try it while the webcam is plugged in too. So I’m not giving a horrible review because it is my error for not noticing the USB only feature and not protecting the boxes to return it. However, I do want others to be aware of the open package, scratches on the stand, and USB only power.

Works perfectly, excellent quality.
I needed to create a video for a project where I was speaking using my iPhone as my camera. My wife understandably got tired of pushing the on-off button for the video for the multiple takes I was needing. I bought this UBeesize tripod with remote control, and I couldn’t be happier. The quality of the tripod is excellent, and setup was a breeze. Remote works perfectly. I was then able to do multiple video takes by myself without assistance. Very sweet setup and very user friendly. Five stars for sure.

Great Customer Service
For some odd reason, the ring light shorted out after 8 months, even though I only used it on a handful of nighttime zoom calls. I was genuinely impressed by the customer service provided by UBeesize. They responded to my email the next day and promptly shipped a replacement within the week.It’s worth noting we own another UBeesize ring light, and even after 2 years and enduring its fair share of bump, this particular unit continues to perform well. Therefore, I consider the other one shorting out an anomaly rather than a representation of the overall product quality.In terms of the light’s versatility, it is adjustable from being too soft to make much difference, to too bright to bare for extended use, and every level you’d actually use in between. The three warmths also are nice to compliment or counteract the natural lighting that is present.

It’s not as bad as I originally thought
Edited review:I decided to change my 1-star rating & bad review to a better one, and instead, write an update because I don’t want to be a catalyst that inhibits sales unnecessarily.Now that I’ve had this ring light kit longer, it’s easier to work with than I first realized. For starters, I think what I received was a previous return, so it seemed like loose pieces that had no instructions inside. It’s taken time to use it and learn how it all works.For the average person wanting a light ring now that Zoom meetings are part of our lives post-pandemic, it’s fine. I personally do a lot of self-tape auditions, so this just wasn’t enough to keep up with the better quality tapes that have become the norm. I’ve since bought a professional lighting kit for that. For the average reader here who just needs some lighting for a meeting, call with a loved one, make a simple YouTube video, or to even take still pics, this will do fine enough. There aren’t many light settings to choose from, so it won’t offer the best color of light for a headshot type photo: the daylight setting is too white & washes out everything, the warmer light turns my very fair skin slightly orange…but I still look more healthy than I do in the daylight setting! For glasses wearers, any ring light will reflect on your lenses. That said, this product is as good as any ring light kit.In sum, for an average daily situation, this light ring set will work fine enough. There’s nothing wrong with it and you’ll find the pieces pretty easy to assemble and the mini remote easy to pair with your Bluetooth. But if you need to make better quality videos or pics, naturally you’ll need the right kind of equipment that provides better lighting for your hair & skin tone and that doesn’t reflect in your glasses.

Works well
So far it’s working well. Bright ring light is good. The tripod is pretty simple. I wish the phone holders were easier to use. It can’t support a heavy phone so I had to lie some weight on one of the legs.

I just received my ring light tripod yesterday and I was very excited to open it and try it out. The directions could be a bit more clear so I’m taking a star off for that but at least there are pictures of what it’s supposed to look like. So far I think I will find it very useful and I love that it came with a little remote control you can pair with your phone to take pictures and video with the press of a button. However, even though I have an android I have to press the IOS button to take the picture, not the android button which is weird. At least it works!I love that it has different settings and colors of light for the ring light. I like the bright white but the blue is also pretty.I will try to update at a later date once I have used it several times.

Where do I start?
When the item arrived I was very excited to just be let down. When I tried to attach the phone holder to the light it didn’t fit, because the base of the phone holder was screwed on to tight, so I had to send it back which it was fine because they overnighted a new one with no cost to me. I just had to send the one that didn’t work back. Now that I have the new one all was well until I attached my phone to the light just to see my phone is taller than the light, because of the phone holder is very long or the light was to small. In order for it to work properly my phone will have to stick outside of the ring light. I don’t think that is how it is supposed to be not from what I can see from the preview. The tripod is ok however, I thought I could use it on a table, or a desk as well, but I can’t it is to tall. Maybe if the chair I am using was tall enough then it probably will work. I am using an office chair and a regular size desk. Other than that it is OK. I still have to send back it’s to tall.

Light ok but very cheap plastic
It’s as you might expect for a cheap plastic product. It works OK for a few times but very quickly the cheap plastic will fatigue and break in a way that you cannot repair it. If you’re looking for something for regular use try to find something with a flexible metal Stand rather than all these plastic angles of adjustment. If it’s for one time use occasional use it might be OK.

Lightweight & Travel friendly but some downsides!
Overall this light it great! My house has very dim lighting so this works perfectly for what I need, (however it’s not very bright if you use it outside in broad daylight).Things to note:It’s VERY lightweight and the tripod is very light. This makes it easy to travel with, but also might not hold up well in the long run (ive only had this for a few weeks so I cant comment on that!)The remote does not work properly on an Iphone 11, but works fine on my 8+.The remote also removes the keyboard from your phone when connected so you cant type (weird)!The phone stand is not very wide, and my 8+ BARELY fits, but it is snug enough to where my phone wouldn’t fall out.My one con:Out of the 3 light settings, one randomly stopped working, and now only works occasionally. Idk if it’s the bulb, or the cord, but sometimes the third setting will work and other times it will just go dark, and then I need to turn off & on the light again.Tip: If you want to use this more easily, buy a portable phone charger! That way you can use it outside or move it around and not have to depend on an outlet (:

Great light!
I’ve had this light for 2 years now and I feel I can give a balanced review.Pros:Durable!! I’ve been using this for online meetings 2-3 days a week, for 2-3 hours each time, every week, for 2 years, and it is still going!Easy to set upTripod and phone holder are good quality, again I’ve been using it for 2 years and they’re both still working greatCons:Not the brightest light, but it is probably due to the size. I am upgrading to a bigger light for more illuminationI lost the remote within the first week of owning this, so I can’t speak to its usefulness.
