Love these so much!
These towels are perfect!I usually purchase ‘cloth diapers’ to use in my kitchen because they absorb well.I really like that these towels have finished edges and a tab for hanging.I feel like I have leveled up.

Use these for my baking.
Been using these in place of plastic wrap since I bake a lot. Litte tip though, if letting dough rise for more than a few hours I’d suggest putting two moist towels on top, or doubling one towel if it’s a small batch of dough. If dough is sticking onto the towel, just spray a bit of water on the towel and that helps it release most of the time.

Great Quality
I have been buying these tea towels every winter for 3 years and creating stamped designs on them for Christmas presents. I keep one for myself, and they hold up so well. They dry quickly, they are great for drying dishes or for proofing bread. Love them.

Getting better with use
Have had these for about a year now and they seem to be the towel I look for the most for normal use around the house. They are getting better the more they are used.

Quality product
I use these for baking my bread and storing the bread. You just wrap your sour dough bread with the tea cloth and you can store it like that for days. I also prefer these towels to any other dish towel I have used to dry my dishes. Itās a great product to have around the house and they last forever. I always buy the white ones that way I can bleach them and they look great no matter how long you have used them.

Quality
Excellent workmanship, quality fabric. I laundered them right away. Every towel came out of the dryer perfectly straight and even. No twisted or misshaped edges. These are the best flour sack towels I’ve ever purchased.

Pretty good
These are great in the kitchen, or at a bar / restaurant. They wash up great and if you fold after drying, the wrinkles are very minimal. They are relatively absorbent – very useful in my kitchen.

Yea Towels
The towels are large and can be folded to create thickness. While they are nice, they are not the thickness of the older style (your grandmotherās) tea towels.

excellent drying towel
This review is several weeks after purchase of Utopia Kitchen [24 Pack Flour Sack Tea Towels, 28″ x 28″]. I waited to see how they would do. After several washings, they have stayed in shape – a good square drying towel. They are neither the thickest nor thinnest towels I have purchased. They do the job well and hold up well. I gladly recommend them for use in the kitchen or around the house; I do not know about using them for any art projects. I will purchase again if I need more drying towels.

Good fabric, bad stitching
These are just what we were looking for. Not very thick, but absorbent. My only complaint is that the stitching was of rather poor quality. But luckily I can go back over the seams if they start to unravel.

I LOVE THESE TOWELS!!
It’s hard to say just HOW much I love these Utopia towels! Want a good quality plain old kitchen towel made from heavy cotton fabric? THESE are the best. Stained and need bleaching. OK! Absorbent? YES! Good for everything from drying and polishing crystal cocktail glasses to drying your hair to wiping up the kitchen floor.

So much better than using paper towels!!!
A couple of years ago I switched to bar rags mostly to stop using so many paper towels. I keep 2 dozen and consign them to rags whenever they are stained then replace a dozen at a time. Great system. Works well. These are a good choice. The measurements are common so if you can’t find these you can can similar the exact same size. Bleachable. Cheap. Absobent. Reusable. Great idea.

Outstanding Flour Sack Towels
I bought these flour sack towels based on the excellent reviews of others. The reviews were all accurate! These towels are outstanding! I washed them and put them to use right away in the kitchen. They are so absorbent and generous in size. They also dry quickly. A lot of advertised flour sack towels are more decorative than effective. These towels do the job and you do not need to break them in at all. Regarding wrinkling: I folded the towels right away after drying and of course they have some natural texture but for my purposes in the kitchen this was fine to me. I bought the grey towels and I am so happy with them. It is so nice to have the color options! I bought a 12-pack and shared some with another family member. They are Awesome! Buy Them!

Works great!
I have wanted to buy some of these for a long time. I had a couple that I only used to fold up my homemade rolls in for family dinners. I finally decided to buy some to use for drying dishes and I wish I had done so a long time ago. These wash up beautifully, do not shrink and wrinkling is minimal if you get them out of the dryer as soon as possible. They hold water well and dry quickly which is nice. I will definitely buy again when I need to.

Nice quality for the price.
I purchased these for about half of the list price and I thought that cost was quite reasonable. I never would have paid the listed price for them. They are a nice white color and seem to be sewn well, with straight hems and tight stitching. They aren’t as thick as I expected but they seem to do a decent job of drying dishes which is the reason that I purchased them. I have noticed some lint shedding but that will problem ease up after another washing & drying. I do find it ridiculous that the washing instructions state to used cold water on gentle cycle for dish towels!! I used hot water and regular wash/dry cycles and they seemed to come out just fine. They did wrinkle a bit but that’s not a big issue. I bought the 24 pack and shouldn’t need any dish towels for a long time!!

Great kitchen towel
These towels were purchased for the purpose of testing eco print and natural dye processes. The cotton material is a nice weight and the size of the towels are great for use later in the kitchen. They leave no lint when drying and laundry very well. They have a nice hang tab also which is convenient. For the purpose of dyeing they accepted the various dyes very well and turned out very nice. They are also a good size to use for wrapping gifts and when combined as wrapping for a hostess gift it becomes a twofer. Highly recommend either as purchased or to use for your dye projects.

I like them. They are great for drying dishes. Hubby’s only complaint was that they are large. To me the size isn’t a problem because they don’t weigh much. Nice quality and look nice.

GREAT Product
I hardly ever write a review right after receiving the product but had to with these dish clothes (I called them bar clothes). I got them yesterday and washed them this morning (yes I was excited to get them). I have white ones from a chain store that are great but wanted something other than white, I got the beige. I LOVE them, they actually dry the dishes. I have other dish clothes that do nothing but move the water around on the dishes. It is only my husband and myself so we do not use the dishwasher, so an absorbent dish cloth is very important to me. Get these you will not regret it. They came out of the dry not wrinkled at all, the color did not bleed. I did NOT receive these free for my review, I paid full price for them and would buy them again. I will be buying them for family members for gifts. They are great and I love being able have a color other than white.

second time I ordered–bought some for foodie sons as well
these work well as regular, what we used to call, tea towels I also use them as “bibs” for my too big for bibs pre school age grand kids. for foodies, they work well tucked in your waistband to wipe your hands while cooking–like real chefs š just take care of where they hang if using a gas stove so you don’t set yourself on fire. the ones I bought 5 years ago have become a bit too stained so I ordered new ones and the old will be used for cleaning rags. I also just bought some for my two sons as they are their house chefs. š

Huge Help in Reducing Paper Dependence
It was time to order new dish towels, and I saw these. Flour sack cloth (so called, anyway) seems to be trendy, and that made me deeply suspicious. Also, I didn’t really need 12 of them. But then I saw the pitch about going paperless, and I thought, maybe I should do this. Here’s the thing: you have to decide what you want them for. If you are going to embroider on them and make them into art, you don’t want to turn around and drain bacon grease on them. I had originally thought I would monogram them, but the need to use less paper called to me louder, so I abandoned the decorative aspect and went for the practical. The washing instructions horrified me. No hot water? No bleach? The hell? But then I thought, let’s try it anyway. After getting one of the towels really filthy, I used hot water, bleach, and the dryer, and what happened was it shrunk maybe an inch and a half on each side. Since these are already huge towels, I don’t care one tiny bit. Problem solved. Bleach and hot water are a go.I have used these towels to clean the ugliest messes, the sort that might use up most of a roll of paper towels. When we cleaned out the fridge (eww!), my husband grimly reached for the paper towels for his half; I did my half with just one of these towels. Again, they’re very large. Every time I saturated one spot, I refolded it and kept on cleaning. I used any and every type of cleaning chemical, including antiseptic cleaners, bleach water, ammonia, and that white gooey stuff for cleaning a flat, glass-topped stove. Nothing seems to damage them. I used just one to clean a big roll of window blinds that had hung unwashed for a whole year. I used another to clean our entire glass picture window, which was also very dirty. These towels are workhorses! The one place I hit the wall is in using them to drain cooking grease. The towels are just too large to set on a plate on the stove. I was frying tortillas and thought I’d just lift a layer of the cloth for each tortilla as they came out of the frying pan. I smelled something unpleasant, looked down, and the corner nearest the burner had moved too close and about an inch of the towel was black, burned, and smoking. Whoopsie. I nearly started a fire! So, okay, once in awhile safety dictates that I use paper towels instead. On the plus side, some products would have gone up in flames fast; at least this one warned me.Since I purchased these towels in October, my use of paper towels has decreased by at least 80%. I sent my daughter out to buy a whole big case of paper towels to get us through the pandemic, and it’s just sitting in the garage. Ordinarily it would be 20-25% gone by now, but we are still using the roll that was already in the kitchen.Sooner or later I may buy some more of these for fancy needlework; they would look very nice if used for wrapping bread in a basket, or as a gift. My lesson in all of this is that sometimes, things become trendy for a reason, and this time, the hype is justified.

Large, smooth towels
I purchased this package of six super-sized towels to use one as an apron for a costume. They’re so wide, I actually had to pleat when pinning one to my skirt (and I am not slender.)They’d make a lovely background for embroidery or cross stitch designs, as they seem reasonably evenly woven 1/1. I’ve yet to wash and dry them for kitchen use, so I cannot at this time address shrinkage or post wash wrinkles. Will update later if there’s a major issue. If you like flour sacking towels big enough to dry more than a dish or two, this package is a bargain.

Great Cloths for Kitchen!
I buy these quite often, as Iām always cooking/baking. I wear it folded over the tie of my apron to wipe my hands (not in the place of washing themā¦lol). I also use them as a cover over my bowls for raising dough. BUT, THEY ARE THE BEST for drying/polishing stemware, as they are very ācleanā (no lint, and no āspreadingā/smearing that can occur with other drying towelsā¦I just love them!

These are the classic kitchen towels of your great-grandmother. From covering pies as they cool, to covering jars to make vinegars, and all the things that have been forgotten… you need these towels. Hands down THE BEST flour sack towels- and I have tried many!
These towels are ten times better than the Williams Sonoma ones I spent stupid money on. I really wish I tried these first- they are the perfect size, great thickness, fast drying, and not super-wrinkly out of the dryer like most others.

Large and absorbant
I love these towels so much that I have purchased them for my grown children as well. Now they are hooked, as well. I have stacks of these towels, and keep them folded in a basket in my kitchen for easy access. I use them for everything: as a dish drying platform; as hot pads; as pot holders; you name it. When they get stained, i bleach them in the wash and they’re good as new.
